I contacted Mitchells specifically for makeup services. I spoke back and forth with the coordinator via email with complete ease. I had no issues! My makeup artist Carrie arrived early and was wonderful throughout the entire process! Everyone in my bridal party looked beautiful with their makeup done!
It was very difficult for me to decide how to rate Mitchell's... The short story is that they did beautiful work with my hair and makeup, but they are poorly responsive, ignore any expressed concerns, and do not provide you with an adequate number of people to ensure that your timeline remains on schedule.
Here's the long version:
Again, I will start by saying that they did a beautiful job with my hair and makeup. Abby did my makeup and I worked with her for months leading up to the wedding getting facials and skin care advice. She was amazing. Here's where it gets bad... Despite quick responses before I signed the contract to work with them, it seemed like their event coordinator pretty much ghosted after that. I would have to send multiple emails, call and leave voicemails, and it would still take weeks to get a response. My makeup and hair trial were originally scheduled for the same day, and since the makeup and hair people worked at different locations I was driving from my makeup trial (which went great with Abby!) to my hair trial and got a call 10 minutes before my hair trial appointment was about to start (I was literally pulling into the parking lot) that they needed to cancel because she was running very behind with another client. They cancelled a second time as well and when I finally had the appointment it started 15-20 minutes late because the hair stylist was running behind with another client (again). I expressed my concern that it would just be the one hair stylist with myself, 5 bridesmaids, and my mom, especially since she seemed to always be running behind, and requested (multiple times) to have a second. They refused to provide one and simply insisted that she is fast and can handle all of us and keep us to a timeline. They also said that a salon wedding coordinator would be present to help keep things running smoothly so we'd be on time. The coordinator they sent did NOTHING and just sat in the corner the whole time. And the hair stylist DID get behind and we ran an hour and a half late. There were several pictures I would have loved to have on my day that I didn't get because we didn't have time. It started my whole day off wrong. I do NOT recommend them for weddings.
*Should also add that I DID get a second makeup artist, but that was at Abby's insistence when I expressed my concern directly to her. Seriously, she's great. The rest... Not so much.

I never write reviews, but want to warn other brides. I first messaged them on January 22nd via The Knot. I spoke with erica and told her what I was looking for on my wedding date. She was very difficult to get a hold of, but I have a voicemail from April 22nd advising that we were set and to email with ideas. I have tried to contact to verify, as its getting close, even 2 email addresses (in case work is not going through) . I call to confirm, as i need to set up vendors with my venue. I get her voicemail, so i speak with the front desk at Mitchell's. They state I am blocked off for both hair and makeup on that date. I get an email on June 28th stating that they were overbooked since I switched to airbrush, in March. I then forwarded her the saved voicemail from April confirming the date and airbrush. She then stated that she would speak with the department manager and owner on June29th. (I even stated I can do regular makeup..because finding hair and makeup with 2 months to go will be difficult.) She informed me that she would contact me with an update on June 30th. I sent an email a few days later, as its a holiday weekend and everything is crazy. It has been a week and I have gotten no response. I am two months out from my wedding, with no hair and makeup. I tried to contact her via email and messages over ten times to discuss and plan since April.
This has been a nightmare and I am now contacting multiple venues to try and line things up last minute.

I chose Mitchell's Salon & Day Spa's bridal package partly because I needed a place to get ready in the morning for myself and my 8 bridesmaids + flower girl. I have a lot of mixed feelings about it. Mostly positive with just some disappointments. Nothing negative, but chaotic. For one, Erika, the event coordinator, is very good at her job and, while it would sometimes take a while for her to get back to me with a question, I felt comfortable leaving everything in her hands after realizing the amount of organizing she was doing. She was so nice and helpful the day-of and I'm happy that she was around. She suggested we all could get ready at the Kenwood location because there was a window-less dining room for the party. The room was... smaller than expected. And my biggest regret was that there were no mirrors in the room so I never got to have that "wow, I'm a bride" moment. BUT, coffee and water and tea were served, and Erika was ready to grab anything you needed. I probably could have asked for a mirror. I was overcharged on two of my trials because the front desk was not aware I was part of the bridal package. This was resolved with credits on other things. I requested airbrush makeup but never got it. I wasn't charged for it, though. Two of us had some reservations about one of the nail techs. On an individual basis, all of my bridesmaids looked absolutely lovely and have wonderful things to say about their stylists. Shelley was my favorite!! She did my hair and it was everything I wanted!! I would give Shelley by herself 5 stars. The Knot says 3 stars is "pretty good" and I would agree with that. I love Mitchell's Spa. My facials are always amazing. I'm not sure I would recommend the bridal package to everyone though.

I've been getting my hair cut here for years and of course I thought of them first for my wedding. We had a stylist call out sick the day of and they handled everything with such professionalism and we found a solution. My hair turned out BEAUTIFUL and my bridesmaids hair all turned out amazing as well. Shout out to hair stylist Shayna and makeup artist Carrie!
I used the Mitchell's Salon and Day Spa West Chester location for getting ready for my wedding day with my bridesmaids, mothers, and grandmothers. Mitchell's Salon and Day Spa team did a great job making sure my bridal party and I looked picture perfect and felt confident for my wedding. Shayna did my hair, Abby did my makeup and facials, and Bree did my nails. The updo was gorgeous, my makeup lasted all day and my skin looked flawless, and my nail polish lasted for weeks!
The other members of the team: Alyssa, Angela, Kaitlynn, and Nate, did such a great job making everyone's look coordinated together, but was still unique to them. Everyone's hair looked so good in the photos and complimented each other!
They let us use the room next to the spa to congregate to get excited for the big day. We were able to bring sparking juice, charcuterie boards, and fruit to enjoy as we got ready. This helped the group get connected and get excited for the event! Mitchell's Salon and Day Spa did a great job making sure that everything went smoothly for the big day! Definitely recommend!
I had such an amazing experience with Mitchell's! We used the West Chester location. Erika was so amazing to work with and made me feel so at ease with the whole planning process. She came to me with solutions and always followed up. My hair and makeup also turned out amazing - I had my hair done by Remi and makeup by Carrie. Remi actually came over to WC from Tri County to do my hair which was SO appreciated! The day of my wedding, we felt like we were taken care of so well and it was just a super fun experience.
I used the west Chester location and wedding event services to book hair and make up. it was a great experience and would use the again. They made my vision come to life with just a few photos for inspiration
The team at Mitchell’s did an amazing job! After going through so many trials and different companies, I should have been with Mitchell’s from the get go. Bailey did my hair and when I say my hair didn’t move, I mean it!! Having thick hair, it never wants to hold a curl but Bailey went above and beyond to make sure those curls would last all night! Rachel did my makeup and WOW!! I have NEVER felt so beautiful!! She did an absolutely amazing job and I seriously could not have been happier! She did exactly what I asked for!!
My experience with Mitchell's was very average. I honestly would have rated them at 2 stars if Nicholena didn't do such a great job with my hair and if Carrie didn't do such a great job with my makeup. My hair and makeup turned out great - the hair stylist and makeup artist are not the reason for my 3 star rating. They deserve 5 stars. I loved working with both of them and they both did such a great job. However, everything else with my experience with Mitchell's was very disappointing. I decided to splurge and book Mitchell's because I thought it would make wedding planning easier, but instead it created more work for me. It was so hard to schedule hair and makeup trials for me wedding. I had to follow up with the wedding coordinator multiple times to schedule the trials. And then, Mitchell's overcharged me a little over $60 for my trials and I had to go through the hassle of contacting them and getting a refund. I booked airbrush makeup for my wedding and had airbrush makeup applied at my trial, and someone at Mitchell's forgot to pack the airbrush foundation (this was not Carrie's fault - she felt awful and still did a great job and made things work despite someone not packing the airbrush foundation). So I feel like I wasted $66 on my makeup trial because my makeup trial used airbrush foundation, which wasn't even an option on my wedding day. The most disappointing part of this whole wedding day mix up is that the wedding coordinator at Mitchell's was told by Carrie that someone forgot to pack the airbrush foundation and I was never contacted by Mitchell's with an apology for the mix up. Your hair and makeup will look great if you use Mitchell's, but it will be a pain coordinating everything with them and there's a chance they could forget to pack the makeup you need/asked for.

I made appointments over the phone for my bridal party to get nail services about four months. We called a day before and they had no record of our appointments. Awful customer service.
Mitchell's was amazing for hair on the day of the wedding! We had two stylists come to our venue and they we're on schedule, did an amazing job and made the day really fun! I did a hair trial before the wedding and my hair looked perfect day of. All of my bridesmaids also loved their hair and felt really beautiful! They loved that the stylists were able to do more modern styles and work with their individual dresses to make them look great!
The team at Mitchell's is so easy to work with and made scheduling a breeze which was much appreciated!

Mitchell's made the process so easy and stress free. From booking the date, making sure all my bridesmaids would be finished in time of my wedding and providing a beautiful room for us all to prep and wait in. Kaitlyn did an amazing job with styling my hair and making sure it stay curly the whole night. Everyone was so nice, friendly and professional and made sure all my bridesmaids were satisfied.
I used Mitchell's for multiple services for my wedding - Friday (the day before) my Bridal Party and I came in to get manicures + pedicures. I worked with Madison, their Bridal & Events Manager and she setup their Spa Dining Room with some snacks and libations we brought in (they also offer catering as well but we brought our own stuff). It was a nice touch. For the day of my wedding, I had their hair team come to my house for getting ready. Madison coordinated everything for me from start to finish and made everything so easy, steamlined and organized for my girls and I. It was so great! One less thing to stress about for your big day! Madison also recommended a few other services that Mitchell's offers that I would have never done before my wedding - I got their Dermaplaning (for smoothe makeup application) and a facial rejuvenation treatment. I also treated myself to a massage the week of. It was worth it! Madison is really great to work with and I give her all the credit for making my wedding day beauty services so successful - she makes the experience personal with the perfect touch of professional, you can tell making poeple happy is her thing . My hair team was warm, friendly and really cared about everyone's individual style. Everything went off with a hitch and I am so grateful I chose Mitchell's for my wedding day services. You have a customer for life! Thank you so much!
Mitchell's was wonderful and Madison made every step of the wedding planning process as easy as possible. Definitely request Heather for on-site hair and Shawna for makeup--they helped me get on healthy skin and haircare regimens before the big day and helped me look and feel my best the day of! Also excellent nail service was provided for my bridal party the day before which gave us all some nice time together before the festivities started.
They did our hair and make up for 6 bridesmaids, mother of the bride, bride, and flower girl. As the bride, they made sure each hair do was how I wanted it. All the stylists were very nice and friendly.
Mitchell's was great! We had an early morning (first appt was at 7:30) and everyone arrived on time and ready to go! Not to mention they traveled to Lima, which made our lives so much easier! Everyone was so friendly, one of the hairstylists even helped out with the decorations once we finished. I can't recommend Mitchell's enough!
My bridesmaids and I went to Mitchell's to get our nails done the day before my wedding. Madison Ashley organized all the appointments ahead of time, and when we arrived, the staff was ready and waiting for us. It was a lot of fun because we were all in the same room and could chat and hang out while we got our nails done. The stylists were fun and professional, and we were all pleased with everything. I highly recommend Mitchell's!
Mitchell's Hair and Makeup was amazing!!!! Madison was so great to work with, got all my details in a row, made honest opinions of how many stylists I needed for the day, gave me a sweet gift day of and even showed up in the morning completely unexpected, and then a feedback email right after with a special offer! The little personal touches looking back meant it all! Everything was on time even though some of my girls/family members were late, the artists made it work with the conditions of the space, and all my girls including me loved how we looked! We all wanted natural nothing crazy and I had girls with all different hair styles and the feedback I got from my bridesmaids and family members was each stylists was so nice and they loved how they looked! :) I also loved that tips were included in the pricing so didn't have to worry about it day of!
Loved Karis for my hair, she was so hip and did a great job! Thank you Mitchell's, worth every penny! I cannot wait to see the photos from my photographer of all of us with the hair and makeup :)
I was amazed by my experience at Mitchell’s Salon and Day Spa! I’ve never felt so confident in my own skin as when the staff for my hair and makeup took the time to truly listen to my vision and make it a reality. I looked airbrush-perfect while also feeling and looking natural and fresh. When it came to hair, my hair turned out breath-taking during the trial run that she made even better when she took extra care the morning of the big day to ensure it was perfect. My hair and makeup remained picture-perfect through the day and evening to and through a lively dance floor for over 12 hours! I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day. Mitchell’s sets the bar for wedding face and hair, I walked away on my special day very happy.
Mitchell's Salon in Hyde Park did a wonderful job at making me feel beautiful on my wedding day. I regularly go there for hair cut and color with Kayla, and she is fantastic! I have never been unhappy with my hair when Kayla has done it so I knew I could trust her on my wedding day. We didn't even do a trial and my hair turned out even better than I imagined! For makeup, I figured I would make it easy and do it at Mitchell's too. They also have a hair and makeup package that seemed like a good deal. I had to do a makeup trial because my skin is sensitive and I'm allergic to everything. Toby was very nice at my trial and explained that they use very gentle makeup, that I believe was hypoallergenic. I had no problems. She did exactly as I asked at the trial, but I later decided I wanted to make some changes for the big day. She made the changes I asked and I was so happy with how it turned out! My mom and bridesmaid got their hair and makeup done there too and were also very happy. Madison, their bridal events manager, was very nice and helpful with booking. The service was excellent from start to finish and I would definitely recommend them!
Mitchell's Salon provided an amazing experience for me, my bridal party, my mom, and mother in law. They exceeded our expectations and we absolutely loved all of the hair styles and makeup. All of the staff were great to work with and were willing to go above and beyond to meet our needs. I certainly would recommend Mitchell's to any bride looking for a great getting-ready experience!
Nicholena from Mitchell's was fantastic! She did my hair, all of my bridesmaids, as well as 2 others (8 in total)! She listened to what everyone wanted and was super quick! We had every variety of hair and she made everyone's hair work and look beautiful regardless of type or length. Nicholena is a true professional who knows what she is doing, and it showed. She made sure everyone was satisfied with their look, especially me, and even finished early! The overall process was simple and easy from the trial to the day of! I highly recommend Nicholena and Mitchell's Salon!
We went to the Mitchell's Salon in Kenwood! They all were so awesome to work with. They took care of the bridal party and the mother of the bride for hair and bride and a bride's maid for makeup. Everything went perfect! We were allowed to use the bridal room while we waited and we brought in bagels and juice to eat and drink while we waited for our turns. Tamala did the brides makeup and lashes and did a fantastic job. Heather did her hair and it was stunning. Sarah did my hair and she did an awesome job. The others were beautiful also (although I don't know all their names).
Even with our slightly windy day, our hair stayed strong for us. You will not be disappointed if you schedule with them. Madison, The Bridal Events Manager was so easy to work with. Even with a slight time crunch, she was able to move the times around for us to make sure we stayed on track with our day. Thank you so very much for all you did for us.
I loved Mitchells! I am a long time client so it seemed like the obvious choice, but once I got in contact with Madison I knew it was perfect. She is coordinator for the weddings and she does a fantastic job. She is super organized and created a schedule and timeline for you. It made the day go by so smoothly!! I couldn’t have been happier with my hair and makeup. Both the make up artist and the hair stylists were awesome. They both listened to me and gave me exactly what I wanted! They are the best!!
Do yourself a favor and book Mitchell's - particularly Heather - for your big day! Madison, their bridal coordinator, made the whole process so smooth and took away all the stress. Heather came to site the day of and made myself and all of my girls look so beautiful! I cannot say enough good words about them

As a girl that was a little intimidated by the beauty industry when planning my wedding I cannot say enough wonderful things about Mitchell's. I considered having a separate hair stylist and makeup artist come to us but when I found Mitchell's the planning became so much easier. The Mitchell's coordinator Madison was polite and professional. I went for a trial run and both my hair and makeup artists really listened to what I wanted out of my wedding look. Madison helped organize a spa day room for my bridesmaids to relax and have snacks between hair and makeup and all the services were perfectly on time. The day of I brought two new hair pieces I wanted to incorporate and Kaitlynn added them in effortlessly. Carrie made my makeup look so special and beautiful while remembering I wanted to look natural too. I would definitely choose Mitchell's again for a wedding or special event.
Mitchell's was fantastic to work with for my wedding day! I scheduled hair appointments for myself and 4 bridesmaids, and it could not have been easier or more professional! Madison, the bridal manager, was so quick to respond to my emails, and got us set up in no time at all. She was extremely organized and even though we were still about 4-5 months away, sent me a schedule with every bridesmaid and who was doing their hair. They were also able to schedule us all at the same time, so the 5 of us were in and out in under and hour, and the timing of our wedding day went perfectly!
On to the hair itself - Abigail did my hair and it was AMAZING. We had a really fun trial run where we tried out a few styles - I showed her my Pinterest page and she did a great job recreating the styles I liked, and tweaking it to look better in person. On the day of, I asked for a few minor adjustments, and she executed it perfectly. I have long, somewhat fine hair, and Abigail put it up in a beautiful twisted chignon type look that stayed put from 8am til midnight!
I could not recommend this place enough for a fun, professional, hassle free wedding day experience!

Mitchell's was wonderful! We worked with Salta and Tamela at the Kenwood location and they were so professional. They took the time to really decide what would look best and fit our vision! We would recommend them to any bride and bridal party! Everyone loved the airbrush makeup and lashes as well. Thank you to the whole team who worked with us at the Kenwood Mitchell's!
Madison was great to work with! she helped me schedule all of my hair, facial, waxes, etc for the few months before my wedding. Natalie from Hyde Park Mitchell's came to the Phoenix on site and did my hair, my husband's hair, and 2 of my bridesmaid's hair. LOVED all the hair. Gray from Anderson Mitchell's came to the Phoenix to do my makeup, my sister's makeup and my mother-in-law's makeup. She stayed right up until pictures for any touchups which I appreciated. My makeup looked darker to me then my makeup trial but my husband loved it darker so it was ok. Loved my experience with Mitchell's. Amber from West Chester Mitchell's was amazing with my facials and waxes. Kaitlyn from West Chester Mitchell's helped me with a lot of hair treatments to get my hair looking better. I am hooked on mitchell's now, let me tell you. Only thing I didn't do there was nails because they don't offer SNS/powder.
I cannot say enough about my amazing experience at Mitchell’s! I’ve never felt so confident in my own skin as when Amber took the time to truly listen to my makeup vision and make it a reality. I looked airbrush-perfect but simultaneously natural and fresh. When it came to hair, Kayla rocked a breath-taking updo during the trial run that she made even better when she took extra care the morning of the big day to ensure it was perfect. My mom and sister/MOH also rocked Mitchell’s looks that fit their personality and highlighted their natural beauty. My hair and makeup remained picture-perfect through record setting heat and a lively dance floor for over 12 hours! I have never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day. Don’t bother looking anywhere else-Mitchell’s sets the bar for wedding face and hair!
Mitchell's was a fabulous experience for me and my bridesmaids who booked their services! As a part of my bridal package, I was able to have a trial run of both my hair and makeup. The staff did a wonderful job of listening to my thoughts and making my ideas come to life! We chose to have our services done at the salon the day of the wedding, and they booked us a private room with some tables and chairs where we could all hang out between services (there were 10 of us!). In this room they also provided us with some snack and drinks and even let us get our own lunch delivered from a local restaurant. All of my bridesmaids looked stunning and I could not have been happier with my makeup and hair for my wedding.
My bridesmaids and I all had our hair done at Mitchell's in Kenwood for my wedding. I am so happy I decided to book Mitchell's because we were all able to get our hair done at the same time!
I worked with Mandi and both the trial run and the day off hair exceeded my expectations (which were extremely high)! I have received nothing but compliments and my bridesmaids also loved their low updo's!

I had an amazing day at Mitchell`s Salon. I wasn't planning to have a Bridal day and I decided to do on last minute and they made it possible . Massage with Tosha was wonderful and relaxing. Erica and Samantha totally met my expectations (even without a trial) and they did exactly what I had in mind for my special day. I am really picky when it is about manicure and Vonda did an amazing job! I am so happy and glad I was at the right salon. Thanks to all of you.

Mitchell's has always been my top choice for a Spa Day! So it was a no brainer when I was planning a spa day for me and my bridesmaids. It was the perfect day of relaxation and pampering that all brides need before their big day! The staff could not have been nicer and my nails looked fabulous. We reserved the private room which was so nice to have some snacks and champagne! My mom got a massage and it was exactly what she needed after all her hard work helping me plan the wedding! I would recommend Mitchell's to any bride and anyone looking for a treat day!! I will be back.
This was my first time at Mitchell's and lets just say, I will be returning. Grey did an amazing job with my airbrush makeup, I felt flawless. Hallie completed my updo and she did a fabulous job. The staff was super nice and really made me feel special.
Mitchells did an amazing job with my entire bridal party. Everyone in my group got their hair styled and some got makeup and even manicures. They were all stunning. I did the full package and Tamala did my makeup, Salta did my hairstyle and Regina did my nails. Everything was perfect. All three did an amazing job, especially Salta. My hair was absolutely beautiful. I would recommend Mitchells to any bride, especially one with a large bridal party like mine (8 bridesmaids, me and my mother)!
I went with Mitchell's because they had a bridal package that included everything: hair (+ trial), makeup (+ trial), and manicure. The coordinator, Shannon, went above and beyond! She quickly responded to all my questions, broke down costs for me, was flexible in scheduling my girls when they each decided to get their hair done at the last minute - she even made us an Excel doc with everyone who was getting a salon service, who they were with, their appointment time and the cost. It was incredible for a Type A person like me! Salta did my hair and was incredible (I have long, thick hair, so it was no easy task getting it all up!). Everyone loved what she came up with. My only issue was that my makeup artist called in sick on my wedding day and the lady they had fill in for her was very unprepared and seemed incredibly nervous. My fake eyelashes ended up off before the ceremony even started. But it didn't ruin the day and I would still definitely recommend Mitchell's!
We had Nicholena do all of our hair the day of my wedding. She was absolutely amazing! She was so professional and so helpful I would recommend her in a second. My bridesmaids, my mom and I all have such different hair (some have short/thin, some have long/thick), and she was able to tackle it all and be on time for photos!

Mitchell's did an amazing job! Everybody in the bridal party looked amazing. Shannon was beyond helpful throughout the entire planning process. She answered all of my questions immediately and was very helpful updating the contract and schedule promptly for any of our unforeseen changes. Mila did an amazing job on my hair! It photographed wonderfully and really captured everything I was going for. She was very sweet the day of the wedding and was more than willing to work with me to make sure I was 100% satisfied. I highly recommend getting your bridal party hair done here. All new customers get 10% off and they are one of the only salons that offer military discounts. Very affordable.
Myself, my bridesmaids, mom, and mother of the groom used Mitchell's at Kenwood for hair and makeup for the wedding on 4/16/16. The planning process with Shannon was smooth and easy. The day of was fantastic, and they even let us use their back room for food and beverage. The staff was extremely accommodating, attentive, and everyone did such a fantastic job on our hair and makeup. A special thank you to Danielle and Salta for making me feel so beautiful!
I loved my experience at Mitchell's. They have bridal packages, so you can get a hair and makeup trial before the wedding, which was really great to make sure everything was perfect beforehand. The makeup and nails were awesome. I especially loved my hair, which was done by Rhonda. I got compliments on it from the trial and the wedding day. It was absolutely beautiful. Would definitely recommend!
I used Mitchell's for my hair and make-up as well as the hair of all of my bridesmaids and some of their make-up- as well as mother of the bride's hair/make-up. The best part about this service is that they started exactly on-time and they finished exactly when or even before they said they would finished. We were given an awesome room with tables and couches to put our things in as well as a cheese and fruit tray. All of my girls looked stunning and my hair/make-up held up all night! I would choose them if I had to do it all over again and I would recommend their services to everyone!
If you're looking to go somewhere to get your hair/make-up done for your wedding I would highly recommend Mitchell's. The consultants are highly professional and their customer service is amazing. I had ten bridesmaids, and they were very accommodating and ensured that each of us were treated very well and each hair style was perfect.
As the Bride, I felt well taken care of and each consultant listened to what I wanted/needed for both hair and make-up. The atmosphere was both relaxing and exciting- it was a nice place to go before getting married!
I had Mitchell's do my entire party's hair and make-up and it was a wonderful experience. They gave us a private room with food and drinks and treated everyone like a queen. It was a great time to chill out before the big day and enjoy ourselves the morning of. The staff was amazing and the work they did was just what everyone asked for. Definitely recommend.

Overall, I was very pleased with the service I received from Mitchell's of Hyde Park (Cincinnati, Ohio). I chose the bridal package that included hair, makeup, manicure, and hair/makeup trial runs, and all of my girls had at least their hair done here as well. The coordinator, Shannon, was very flexible and quick to respond to my needs. Mila did a wonderful job with my hair, and was able to incorporate my "borrowed" item, a comb that my sister wore for her wedding. To be honest, I was very dubious that it would work with my overall look, but Mila was able to use it so that it would work with my vision and still look beautiful. She was also able to work with my bridesmaid and show her how to remove my veil without messing up my hair after the ceremony. Kendra was my makeup artist and she was able to make me feel beautiful and was very personable. All of my girls seemed very pleased with how their looks turned out, and I thought they looked stunning. Overall, well worth the price and I will recommend Mitchell's in the future!
I absolutely ADORE my hairstylist at Mitchell's, Ali. When it came time to schedule someone to do my hair for my wedding day, I couldn't imagine using anyone but Ali. I contacted Shannon, the scheduler for group events, and she was able to arrange for Ali and her counterpart, Nicholena, to come to my house to do all of the girls' hair for our wedding. They were both so sweet and fun to have around on the morning of wedding. They didn't balk at the 7:30am start time and they made the entire process so much fun! Both Ali and Nicholena had great ideas and they are both incredibly talented! We had girls of all ages, hair colors and hair types and they managed to find the PERFECT hair styles for each and every one of them. We got a tremendous amount of compliments on everyone's hair all day long. Shannon was fantastic to work with throughout the entire process through multiple changes in the timeline and the number of girls in the party. I cannot say enough great things about Ali, Nicholena, Shannon and the Mitchell's team!

I went to Mitchell's at Kenwood to get my nails, hair and makeup done for my wedding. I also had a trial run a few weeks before. Lindsey did an AMAZING job with my hair...I absolutely loved it! She is so talented and the nails and makeup were beautiful too. It was so nice to be in the hands of professionals!
My bridesmaids and I went to Mitchell's for our wedding beauty services. I did my own makeup but Kaitlyn at the Kenwood location did my hair. Kaitlyn is AMAZING!!!! I took a picture of Kate Middleton to my trial run, she nailed it, and made it even prettier the day of the wedding! I could not have been happier. I absolutely loved my hair and all my bridesmaids loved theirs as well and their makeup looked amazing. Highly recommend!

This is the Salon LA in Rookwood Commons near Norwood. I went in on my wedding day and told the stylist (Jess) to "make my hair look nice". I never did (and still don't) know anything about hair or makeup. So, she and I talked for a few minutes and I just let her do what she thought would look good on me. I have shoulder length hair, so she ended up pulling most of it up off of my neck and styled it really well. My main requirement was that she didn't do anything so drastic that my husband wouldn't recognize me (he'd never seen me with my hair done with makeup), and she really took that to heart. She even offered to do my makeup, but we ended up just doing it at the church. I absolutely loved my hair and it stayed up all day - not a strand fell out of place even though we were outside most of the reception and running everywhere. At first I was skeptical, but it was worth every bit of the $65 for all the attention and effort she put into it. It couldn't have been easier.
Cory and Angela made me look my absolute best and made sure that I was calm and relaxed. The job they did totally took my groom's breath away. Ashley the bridal coordinator went way above and beyond.
