Nothing but great things to say about my experience with MJ Photography & DJ plus the bundled package with day-of management with DWP Events. From the start, Joe, Melissa, and Debbie made us feel so comfortable. Joe was so responsive to all of our questions and open to our vision, including our very particular playlist! While we were uncomfortable with staged photos, Melissa helped us ease in and provided great direction. Day-of, she went above and beyond her photographer duties and even offered to get us more information about where our ceremony would actually end up despite the rain (location was weather-dependent). I called Debbie my fairy godmother, she was there do to pretty much anything and everything we needed and so incredibly conscientious and kind. Could not recommend them enough!

Melissa and Joe were fantastic to work with. They were extremely personable, fun, and knowledgeable about the entire wedding process. Their coordination on the day of our wedding was perfect and very guest friendly. Our wedding parties had a lot of fun working with both Melissa and her second photographer (Garrett). Melissa went above and beyond her job as a photographer. The wedding wouldn’t have been the same without her help! Joe nailed the music and announcements throughout the night. We would highly recommend them to anyone!

I truly have no words for how strongly I recommend Melissa and Joe for your wedding! They are both INCREDIBLE. Melissa was an absolutely amazing photographer, not only extremely professional and organized, but incredibly artistic, creative, really listening to the mood we were going for and achieving that above and beyond. Her work was absolutely beautiful, we are obsessed with the photos so far and cannot wait to see the rest! She did an incredible job and went above and beyond to create the most beautiful memories for us. She showed us snippets of the pictures even during the day, letting us see the vision come to life in real time! She was also so organized in rallying the family together and helping everyone stay on time during photos, and made sure that every little detail was perfect. She brought a great energy to the day and it really felt like she was a friend and made everyone so comfortable to be themselves! Joe was an incredible DJ! He was so organized which we loved! We had multiple meetings and communications in the months leading up to the wedding, he made sure he asked about every detail and was so crucial to the flow of the day in so many ways more than just the music for the reception (even though the music was GREAT!). Our guests were dancing all night and commented on how lively and fun the party was. He really curated his music choice for the type of event we were going for and made it very personal. He also came to our ceremony and not only was so important for the audio, but also helped cue the processional and organize the guests which was so helpful! Joe really cared and even came to us personally during the reception to make sure that my husband and I were doing ok and gave us heads up before major event announcements, etc so that we were ready. He did an amazing job with crowd work and was just overall great! They both went above and beyond and were so professional but also fun. We cannot recommend them enough, and our wedding would not have been the same without them. Only great things to say!!

They were amazing!! Having a Married couple do both the DJ and photos for our wedding made it seamless. They had great communication with each other and us, which made the day go great! With no surprises or mixups. They also clearly put a lot of work into their job and on the day had some fantastic ideas that they put in to place. We couldn’t have asked for a better team or a better event. They are highly recommended by my wife and I, so I would definitely urge people to look into them! Not to mention the price for the job they do is an absolute no-brainer!

We used MJ photography and DJ for our wedding in March 2024 and were thrilled with our experience. From the first moment we met, Melissa and Joe we knew we made the right decision. Melissa is creative, thorough, and amazing at capturing all our candid moments. Joe’s DJ is top notch playing the perfect cocktail music to keeping the dance floor going all night long! I hired Joe Chasse as the DJ for our wedding in December along with Debra White Palmer for our day-of coordinator. Joe kept everyone out on the dance floor and partying all night. We had absolutely the best time with him; he played all our favorite songs and kept the party going the whole time!

My husband and I got married on 9/17/23 and we loved working with Joe as our DJ! From the very beginning Joe was very helpful and friendly. We connected over virtuals calls during the planning process and gave him a mix of vibes to work with. The day of the wedding Joe kept everything super organized and we were amazed with how great the playlist was. Joe was the best DJ we could have asked for. He was amazing to work with ahead of time, and did a perfect job the day of. We used him as both our DJ and for the photo booth. He did a wonderful job with our ceremony music and acoustics, and he kept the party going all night with the music! We described the type of music we wanted and suggested a few songs, and he absolutely nailed it, playing the exact vibe we were hoping for. And people loved the Photo Booth!! We cannot recommend Joe enough.

We hired M&J for DJ and photobooth services for our wedding in May after we referred to them by a friend of ours. Cost was an important factor to us when looking and they were very reasonably priced. We worked with Joe the entire time and he was fantastic! He took charge of the day and made sure that everything ran as smoothly as possible. We were given sheets to complete with our song choices for certain parts of the evening and general songs we liked and he nailed it. He played basically every song that we had on the list, and was able to feel the vibe of everyone in the room throughout the whole night to keep people moving. We didn’t really guide him much on what to play, rather gave him some songs to avoid and he did amazing. On top of that, he kept the photobooth up and running all night for people to come and go as they pleased. The best part is the photo strip guest book that we get at the end and a copy of all the pictures taken that night! It was fun being able to see how much fun everyone else had. Plus, we found out of the week before that he also provided uplighting in our package! Overall, we got way more than what we paid for!

Joe was absolutely amazing for our wedding last week! He has great prices and everyone was dancing and loving the music he played! His communication with us, the venue, our photographer and my cousin who was playing the keyboard for the ceremony was perfect and everything ran smoothly. We will definitely recommend him to other couples for their wedding!

Joe from MJ Photography and DJ was 10/10- the best DJ we could've asked for! First, he is extremely organized (something you want when you have so many different parts moving on your wedding day). Next, he is reasonable as far as price. Lastly, Joe knows what he's doing. He listens to your wants/needs, he is meticulous and professional, and he throws a good PARTY! Every wedding guest was on the dance floor for the entire reception. His uplighting he includes was a HUGE plus. We also used his photobooth services. The photobooth was a perfect addition to our wedding- again, reasonably priced and really a great way for guest to bring something memorable home. Would recommend Joe from MJ Photography and DJ over and over again!

Not only did we hire Joe and Melissa or our 10/16 wedding, but we booked their package including Debbie White-Palmer as our Day of Coordinator. This was honestly one of the best decisions I made in planning. Having three of our most important vendors as a team made the process that much easier. Both Joe and Melissa are extremely knowledgeable, and helped me out a lot in the process. They are also very personable and put us at ease from the beginning. On the day of Joe and Melissa were extremely amazing in helping make the day a total dream. I recommend Joe and Melissa to anyone and everyone!

Joe and Melissa were absolutely amazing. I would recommend them 1,000x over. They were very knowledgeable, always answered my emails, and made me feel confident about my wedding! DJ Joe was the best MC and never failed to keep the crowd dancing. Melissa was wonderful to take pictures with and I cannot wait to see how they came out!

I cannot recommend DJ Joe enough! From the start, Joe was responsive, professional, and organized. He has a very detailed planning form to help him coordinate the day to perfection! He arrived extra early for setup and mic check, checked in with us and other vendors multiple times and the whole day went smoothly. He is an excellent DJ and MC and understood the vibe we were going for by including most of our music suggestions. The transitions between songs and events was seamless. We have heard nothing but great things from our guests as well and the dance floor was PACKED all night! Thank you Joe!

Joe was out guy from the get go! We only spoke with one other DJ before meeting with Joe and I knew he was the right guy for the job when he mentioned Disney songs! He was a great MC and our dance floor was poppin’ all night! He also helped us out with cutting a few of our songs a bit shorter to help with the comfort level of my husband (he isn’t the biggest fan of the spotlight) without giving him hard time. It was great to feel so supported through out the planning process. He checked-in with us about 2 weeks before the wedding to knock final, important details into place and our big night was a success!

we used the DJ service and I cannot say enough great things about him. He knew how nervous I was and made absolutely sure everything was running smooth. Having someone on your special day that checks in with you and makes sure that everything is how you want it was incredible. We also have multiple people in our family with epilepsy and I was worried about the lights and he made absolutely sure no lights would go on and off and we picked a steady color. I would highly recommend to absolutely everyone!

LOOK NO FURTHER FOR A DJ!! I have found the best one. Joe was the best vendor decision I made. He is very responsive, fun and reliable. Every single one of our guests danced the entire night thanks to him. I will recommend him to anyone and everyone!!! Couldn't be happier with my decision to hire Joe.

MJ Photo and DJ did our wedding last week and they were wonderful! Joe is so friendly, professional and so organized! I felt calmer after meeting with him and felt confident he would come through and he did! The music was perfect, many guests commented on it and he was a pro at keeping the schedule running smoothly, even when the venue changed a few things last minute. I highly recommend them for your wedding or event!

We worked with MJ Photography and DJ for DJ/MC at our 6/4/22 wedding and I couldn't image the day without Joe! From the moment we reached out to him, it has been a beyond great experience! We reached out after having a really weird meeting with another service and didn't really know where to go. Feeling a little frustrated, Joe turned the entire experience around for us! He was so personable and knowledgeable, from the start we knew we made a great choice and we're in good hands! Planning along the way was a breeze with him and he even gave us some other amazing vendor recommendations. He totally understood the vibe we were going for and absolutely ran with it. The dance floor was never empty once the night began and the evening ran soooo smoothly with his ability to work with the other vendors to stay on track. We had an amazing wedding and I know we owe that in part to Joe! Can't thank them anough, 10/10 would and already have recommended!

Joe DJ’d our wedding at the end of April and he was fantastic! He was very communicative and attentive to everything we wanted, and didn’t want. We met with him a handful of times before the wedding and he was excellent at answering all of our questions. Our guests have had nothing but great things to say about the music. Highly recommend!

Melissa and Joe are incredible!! We first met at a friends wedding and I couldn't believe how wonderful this duo was so I had to hire them for my own big day! They were organized and paid special attention to every detail to make my wedding the best it could be. My family is still talking about the great music days later! Joe is everything we could have wanted in a DJ and more! His calm and organized nature completely put my mind at ease from our first meeting, and I knew we were in great hands. Joe was phenomenal! He had everyone dancing all night! Our wedding was delayed because of the pandemic but Joe worked with us quickly and efficiently to ensure our new date was available. We went over our all of the place music tastes and he hit upon all of them throughout the night! (Seriously, we went from electric swing to traditional merengue). Melissa and Joe are the best, they worked with us rescheduling our wedding multiple times because of Covid. Melissa is very organized and made sure everything ran smoothly. The photos came out perfect! Joe was an awesome DJ. So many people came up to me after the wedding and said they couldn't believe no one stopped dancing. From the first song to the last everyone was dancing the entire time. Melissa and Joe will cater to whatever you want to do. I highly recommend them to anyone!! Melissa and Joe are the best photographer/DJ duo for your wedding. They took care of everything for us at our wedding! Melissa had an emergency kit for the photos which helped save my makeup for the photos! The photographs we have seen so far are absolutely STUNNING!! Joe made sure every guest was out on the dance floor until the very last minute! They both made sure that our needs were their number one priority the whole night. Could not recommend a better couple for your wedding!

Where do I even begin? I honestly can’t say enough good things. Melissa and Joe are just absolutely AMAZING. So professional and easy to work with. They made wedding planning so easy. Melissa is an amazing photographer, and made my husband and I feel so comfortable. Also, 20 minutes before I was going to walk down the aisle, I had a wedding dress emergency involving a fitting issue, and Melissa whipped out a sewing kit and fixed it, she saved the day! Joe is an awesome DJ and my guests were on the dance floor all night. We got so many compliments! The photo booth was also a huge hit. And to top it all off, they were super affordable. I can’t thank them enough. We are so impressed and would recommend them to everyone we meet!!

We finally got married after a year of postponements and Joe was amazing to work with!! He made every step easy and stress free! He was amazing at our wedding, we could not have made a better choice for our DJ! I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a DJ!!!

We used the DJ, photographer and photo booth services and we were blown out of the water with how amazing everything was. They were both extremely helpful and flexible throughout the process. Both great people to talk to and made you comfortable when taking pictures. My husband and I both are not big on pictures but they were able to take us out of our comfort zone and we had an absolute blast. If we could redo our day we would use them again without a doubt. 10/10 recommend! Do not look past them!

Joe was amazing! We hired them for DJ and the photobooth. Their prices are unbeatable, and the service they provide is top-notch. Hands down the best DJ experience we have ever had. We utilized MJ photography and DJ for photo booth and DJ services. Melissa and Joe were both prompt, Professional, kind and on their feet, all while being affordable! Melissa ran the photo booth seamlessly and even reminded us to take a few pictures before she left. Joe kept the party hot! Our guests all said he was one of the best wedding DJs they’ve ever seen, and we agree. If we had to do it over, we would 100% book Joe and Melissa again! With all of the challenges of COVID and the constant changes in guidelines from the state to our venue, Melissa and Joe where flexible, understanding and helped us plan around every challenge to ensure the best day of our lives. Melissa captured the most dazzling photos and you can feel the love through each photograph. Joe took our musical interests and created the best playlist for our wedding. Our guests (and ourselves) never stopped dancing and the party was always moving. We had so many compliments on everything Melissa and Joe where involved in. We recently had Joe as our DJ for our backyard wedding. After much stress and frustration with a cancelled wedding at our venue, we were on the road to finding a DJ for plan 2. Joe quickly responded and from the first moment we spoke with him, we felt he was amazing. He helped ease all of our worries and was able to really make our day amazing. From making sure all of our music was great to just being a great person and helping to run our wedding, he was amazing. You will not be disappointed if you were to have Joe be part of your day! Joe absolutely killed it at our wedding! We was great to work with up to the day and certainly did not disappoint at the wedding! Our guests kept telling us “the DJ is great!”

We already had our photographer booked when I was shopping DJs and found Joe. I had already spoken to quite a few and they were either crazy expensive, or cheap and unprofessional. Joe was affordable, professional, organized, and personable. We had a small wedding with less than 40 guests due to Covid and I was concerned that it would be difficult for a DJ to get such a small crowd going, but a couple of our guests told us it was the most fun they had ever had at a wedding reception. Our venue came with a wedding coordinator that was a nightmare. She kept trying to change the order of events during the wedding. Joe completely took charge behind the scenes to keep everything on track and I could not be more appreciative of the stress that he relieved. He also executed every special request that we had perfectly. Joe is the best DJ I could have ever wanted and more.

If you want the absolute best, then book with Melissa and Joe. We hired them for everything, photography, DJ, photo booth and yard games. You might be weary of one stop shopping but they excelled in every single one of their services! Melissa makes you feel so comfortable and makes the photo shoot process effortless and I was all over capturing candids. Joe was so organized and guided us through all the formalities of the night as well as kept the dance floor alive. The yard games and photo booth fit great at our venue and kept guests entertained all night! They both have great easy going personalities and I could not be happier that we found them for all these services.

Melissa and Joe were great! Melissa really captured our day and made it even more memorable through photos, it will last a lifetime. Joe kept everyone on the dance Floor, we all danced the night away. They kept to schedule and communicated with each other. Melissa’s attention to detail was superior. Her work speaks for itself. Joe listened to our guests requests for songs and was able to blend them in as we had multicultural music.

Both Joe and Melissa were amazing, they made a 2020 bride feel like it was any other year. Communication through the entire process made me feel confident and comfortable with them. Melissa made sure I got all the shots I wanted and and has skills like no other getting all the hilarious dancing shots. They both understood what my fiance and I wanted from our silly music selections to funny pictures with friends. I felt beyond comfortable around them Joe created memories with his music and lights and Melissa caught every moment. They even went above and beyond and live streamed my ceremony last minute for me so that my grandparents in Nebraska could be there with me. I could not have been more happy with them, if youre looking for vendors that will make youre event beyond perfect this is it.

Amazing and quick communication throughout the whole process! Loved that they offered a dj and photography deal - made wedding planning so much easier. Fantastic, beautiful photos and DJ honored all requests and played all the music we were hoping for - ambient lighting also a plus. Love the different packages they offered and we were able to select one that fit our day! Super detail-oriented and pleasant to work with. Answered all our questions! Would highly recommend!!!!

Melissa and Joe were incredible. They helped us with every detail of photography and music. The photo booth they set up was a huge hit. Because of them our wedding started on time. And when my wife had a button issue with her dress Melissa was right there with a sewing kit to help. Joe picked out a great playlist for everyone to enjoy. It had some oldies and some recent pop songs for every generation. They helped make our reception a blast and I keep hearing friends say how much fun it was. I highly recommend them for any event.

Joe was our DJ for our October wedding. Words cannot describe how pleased we are with his work. Joes is incredibly easy to work with and made our wedding so much fun! He met all of our special requests and even MC'd our shoe game! I especially appreciate his ability to pronounce all of our family's names correctly (I'm Polish, my husband is Irish/Italian). Melissa was fantastic to work with for our wedding! Our meetings were always a no pressure relaxed conversation and she took time to understand what we wanted. She is also very friendly and easy going During the actual ceremony she helped keep the family, bridal party, and groom/bride pictures on track and on time to make sure we got every picture we wanted. There is alot going and its easy to lose track of time The wedding was only a days ago so we have only seen the sneak peak pictures but they came out fantastic, the lighting at my venue was a bit dark for portraits so she took the time to make sure they were quality photos Definitely highly recommended!
