Melanie helped make our wedding dreams come to life. Once the flowers were added into the reception, it was amazing. When we first met with Melanie, we had a style and colors in mind and as time went on the style and colors of the wedding slightly changed and she was very adaptable and flexible with making these changes and any changes. She is open and honest on what needs to be done for your florals to look their best. At one point she recommended adding a little bit more money to make my bouquet look a little bit better and she was not wrong! We also had this beautiful photo booth backdrop that was set up by her team that was amazing! She takes your items and inspirations and brings them to life!

She was extremely professional, well priced, and the flowers exceeded all my expectations. You can’t get anything comparable anywhere! She is very flexible with delivery times and will always deliver person to person. She was on time and she made my wedding so special!! -Kelsey

MK events did a great job on my florals for my wedding. They had many meetings with me to decide what my style was. I did not have a big budget for florals, but they worked with me to help my vision come to life! On the day of, I approved my florals one by one, which I appreciated. The attention to detail was exquisite. I was blown away when I saw the final arrangements. Melanie even called me the day before, and I was able to make some last minute changes, no problem. They are patient, have fair prices, and the customer service is 100/10. You can’t got wrong with MK Events for your florals for your wedding.

My flowers were beautifully made I got so many wonderful comments. It was a dream come true. If you want a florist who can make your pinterest board become a reality you need to go with MK Events!! Melanie was an absolute joy to work with and was very flexible with us as our needs/numbers changed. I was in disbelief when I saw how beautiful my bouquet was, and Melanie’s team even had extra flowers in case I wanted to make some tweaks to make it exactly how I wanted. The consultation covered everything! Even things I had over looked. She fully understood my vision and delivered exactly that! The delivery and set up were right on time and I couldn't have been happier with the final products!

My husband and I got married in May 2020, when COVID was at its height. We weren't able to have a reception - our ceremony consisted of our immediate families, the minister, and Melanie, who provided beautiful flowers for my bouquet and for what few decorations we had. So when we were finally able to host our reception two years later, we knew we had to get her help again! Melanie absolutely went above and beyond for our reception. She assembled a beautiful bouquet for me, a boutonnière for my husband, and several large bouquets set in vases around the venue hall. She even scattered flowers and greenery on the tables with our other decorations! But she did so much more than just flowers. She helped set up our sign-in table and all our decorations, floral or otherwise, before the reception started. She arranged and managed a beautiful spread of fresh fruits, vegetables, and cheese and crackers for all our guests. She kept things moving during the reception and made sure everyone knew when things were happening. She even made sure that our guests with food allergies got their special snacks with no cross-contamination. She was honestly the glue that held our reception together. I highly recommend Melanie and MK Events for just about any event you're hosting! She will absolutely knock it out of the park.

MK Events was amazing to work with! I found them at the Houston Bridal Extravaganza and I’m so glad I stopped in at their booth. Melanie and her team are so kind and very easy to work with. Melanie goes above and beyond to make sure that what you are envisioning for your special is what you want and more. We had several meetings to find the perfect flowers, and she explained everything. She sent pictures of every flower she was thinking of using and their name so I would know exactly what I was getting. She even came to one of the planning meetings I had at the venue to get a feel of what she would need and the quantity to make it all beautiful. The day of my wedding was amazing. Her team came and dropped all the bouquets off with me and my girls and took the rest where it needed to go. The end result was more than I could ever ask for. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.

Where do I even began. At the beginning my mom and I where searching for a wedding florist after one had backed out on us. After researching different florist we came across MK events while at lunch. At this time we decided to call MK events-Melanie (the owner) who took about an hour out of her day right then and there to go over every detail on the phone. We were amazed. As time progressed my mother and I figured out we where to far over our heads with wedding planning. Melanie ended up telling us she does wedding planning and day of event coordination. We instantly decided this was the best thing to do. Every day 24 hrs a day Melanie was available to answer or questions and help us navigate the trouble of good and bad vendors. Along with giving us recommendations of good vendors. Her team MK events even came over to our house to go through some of the stuff we had already purchased for the wedding to figure out what was worth using at the wedding. On the day of the wedding and the rehearsal dinner I was more then impressed. The florals came out amazing!! The irony is that I had really wanted peonies for my wedding but we were slowly getting out of the best time to have them and yet they where everywhere at my wedding. In my bouquet to my centerpieces. I wanted to cry. On the day of Melanie’s team was wearing matching clothes so you could instantly tell who they where and they where even wearing headsets to talk to each other. I remember my mom saying how does Melanie always know where I am at. I 100% would recommend MK events for any bride not only did MK events make the day go smoothly but throughout the entire planning process we zoom chatted at least once every two weeks to go over the floor plan, the look of the florals and the line up of family members/bridesmaids. I am so thankful we found MK events for all our wedding planning/floral needs.

This is sooo super late but SERIOUSLY loved working with Melanie!!! Our flower vendor backed out last minute and Melanie stepped up and assured me she could take over and make our vision come true!!! She did just that!!!! We are so grateful for her!! She does beautiful work and she kept in contact with me which is was amazing!! We live out of town from where our wedding was and she made me feel like I didn’t have to worry about anything!! Thank you so much for giving me the most beautiful flower arrangements I could ever imagine!!!

Researching local florists led my husband and me along with our son and future daughter-in-law to meet with Melanie Hugele after seeing a local neighborhood Facebook recommendation for her floral designs and services. None of us knows much about flowers, and the bride really was unsure about the theme or the look of the wedding. Fortunately for us, Melanie had so many designs for us to look at and ideas to suggest. Her portfolio was quite impressive, and we quickly decided that she was the one we wanted to partner with for the course of the wedding planning. Not only does Melanie take care of flowers, but we also learned that she does the linens for the event. I cannot tell you how nice it is to have just one vendor for all your decorating needs! Finally, our venue required a “day-of coordinator” to be our go-between with the venue coordinator. Again, as luck would have it, Melanie offers that service as well. I felt like I hit the jackpot when I read that original Facebook post about her talents. We spent the next few months talking, meeting, and Zooming with Melanie and her assistant, Heather. Melanie served as the “manager” of our entire wedding. She coordinated with the photographer, DJ, hair/makeup stylists, and the venue. At one point, about six weeks prior to the wedding, we were overwhelmed by all of the little details. Melanie and Heather volunteered to spend a Friday evening at my house taking care of all of those final orders, etc. Five hours later, the weight was lifted from our shoulders, and we were abundantly grateful to them for their time and efforts. I appreciate how meticulously Melanie planned all of our décor. As a visual person, I needed to actually see how it was all going to work together, and she provided pictures and graphics of how each item was going to look at the wedding. Melanie and Heather are consummate professionals who work tirelessly to give you the event of your dreams at 100% satisfaction. They work diligently to meet expected deadlines. They stay inside your set budget and never make you feel like you have to spend extra money to be content with the final product. After 5 months of working with Melanie, I consider her a sweet friend, and that obviously speaks volumes. Not only did she do her job, but she gave us the opportunity to build confidence in our own abilities to select pieces and create a style for our wedding. The day of the wedding was as expected. There were hiccups here and there as with any significant event. I, however, did not even know about most of them until after the fact. Melanie and her team of professionals communicated via a wireless headpiece, so even when there was a problem, no one was the wiser. Melanie handled EVERYTHING. She kept us on the agreed-upon schedule, and she made certain that all the vendors completed their contracted services. We were all able to enjoy the day and soak in all the joy of the wedding because Melanie took care of it all. The peace of mind she afforded us was worth every single penny spent. Because of her and her team, we had a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience. We are totally satisfied with everything Melanie did to create a magical dream wedding. We look forward to a continued relationship with MK Events as our needs change throughout the years. Melanie and her team went above and beyond to help my husband and I execute our vision of modern opulence. She really listened to our needs for all of our flowers details; from the ivy bannister wrap, to table decorations and the gorgeous altar arrangement!!!
