I had been a little nervous going into the appointment because my skin is so sensitive, but she completely understood the assignment and was able to steer me towards dresses that didn't bother my skin at all. I felt guided through every step of the process, and all my questions were answered so knowledgeably. I couldn't recommend them enough!

I had a very difficult time with finding a dress, I didn't like my body at the time (I've lost 60lbs since then) so it wasn't the happy moment I thought it would be in general at any shop, but this was where I felt the most confident and at ease. It felt more relaxed here and that I could take my time, there was less pressure to buy. Once I purchased, I learned that my groom would get a free suit rental and every other suit rental would be $40 off because of me purchasing my dress there, so that was a very nice benefit. When we went back for the guys to get fitted, the man that helped us was incredibly helpful and sweet. He had all of the answers and the colors they had matched perfectly with the dresses we had already chosen from Azazie for the girls. All in all, a great experience in the end.

The staff was unbelievably accommodating, making it very easy for two brides to be assisted and styled. Hanna was BRILLIANT. I discussed my style with her and what I was looking for in a wedding dress and she pulled the most beautiful pieces. I swear she knows me better than I know myself. I had an idea of what I wanted to wear on my wedding day and she found several dresses that fit that bill and also took chances by showing me similar styles that I could be interested in. And she was right! I said yes to the dress in one that I would’ve likely passed over on the rack. But then I put it on and I knew it was the one. I thought that might be silly, the “aha” moment where a dress is just PERFECT. Well, Modern Bride gave me that moment. All of the staff was very kind, greeting my party and myself at the door with warm smiles. They were very knowledgeable about seamstresses, tailors, steaming, pressing, transportation, and more when it came to the dress. Additionally, the bonuses that come with purchasing a dress from this store are not to be forgotten. There are deals on tux rentals for grooms and groomsmen, discounts on bridesmaid dresses, and my personal favorite- storage until wedding date. These people genuinely cared to make me happy rather than just earn money off of my buying a dress. They were INCREDIBLE!! Please go to Modern Bride. Even if you don’t find THE one, I promise you will leave there feeling like the pampered bride that you are. Another thing, I’m working on a short timeline. My wedding is in less than six months and Hanna found me the perfect dress that would already come in time. She did all of the background work while I was busy gawking at the dress. She made it so easy to find a beautiful dress and understand all of the care that comes with the dress. HANNA YOU ARE THE BEST Also, they have TONS of beautiful bridesmaid dresses at competitive prices. The tuxes come in a wide range of great colors as well, i already showed my fiancé and we’re looking at getting his and his groomsmen their sets from there as well!

00 because I was trying to make sure my dress was really the one! Hanna never rushed me, let me think out loud what my worries were, and really helped me focus in on the vision of my dress that was in my head. I brought in pictures and Hanna pulled several dresses that exactly fit the pictures. Turns out once they were on me, I wanted something completely different! Hanna didn’t skip a beat, went back to the drawing board and found several new dresses that hit on what I was looking for. She made me feel comfortable while trying on dress after dress, and was so knowledgeable, knowing what questions to ask to truly get at what I liked on one dress compared to another. She remembered what I had said from dress to dress, and picked up on details like when she noticed, “You said you LOVED this one,” or “You said you wished that one had more sparkle.” What finally made me say yes was when she had me close my eyes and said, “Ok, now picture yourself walking down the aisle to your fiancé…” and then the happy tears came– I said, “I guess this is my dress!” Lastly, the dress I finally chose had something I wanted altered, and Hanna confidently knew just who to suggest for that work to get done. (Modern Bride does alterations, but for the specific alteration I wanted, it wasn’t in their realm). Thank you to Modern Bride, and thank you so much to Hanna. My first and only bridal shop I went to, and I can’t wait for my dress to arrive in February!
