Modern Touch Media

Kyle and his assistant were great! He was so professional and understanding of all of our needs. They worked amazing with our photography team and we barely noticed they were there. We can't thank him enough for everything!

Kyle and his team at Modern Touch Media produce an artistic HD product at a very fair price. Upon contacting him, we received timely communication and were very impressed with the video quality we saw in his work. The day of, he and his crew were timely and professional during a cold and rainy wedding. The reason my review does not give them more stars is because of the professionalism in the production of the finished product. During our initial meeting with Kyle, my husband and I explained we wanted a highlight reel with voice overs, and were told that wasn’t a problem. Once we were sent our reel, there were none. Upon contacting him about this, he told us he could incorporate those into it like we planned. When we received the second version, it had one quick blurb of talk with rain in the background, and that was it. He told us that the rain made the sound quality poor and that's why he didn't incorporate more. While there were parts of speeches and other portions of the day he could have included, we decided we enjoyed the original version without the voice overs enough, and to let it go. When we received our full DVD a couple weeks later, the music set to it included songs about one night stands, breaking up, and being estranged from the one you love. He had asked us what sort of music we liked to listen to during our meeting and incorporated songs by those artists, but didn't check the lyrics of the songs first. Additionally, he had captured all the bridesmaids walking down the aisle, and not me. We brought this to his attention, and he responded that he'd go ahead and fix the footage and songs, although they were songs we'd said we wanted (which was not the case). A few weeks later, we got a message that "files had been corrupted", he couldn't add footage of me walking down the aisle, and that per our contract, there were no guarantees of everything being filmed. There was no apology in this explanation, and while I understand that there are bound to be parts of the day that may not be included perfectly, the bride walking down the aisle should not be one. In the next edited version that should have been fixed, he still neglected to take out one of the songs that we’d asked him to replace, and we had to send the flash drive back again. In our last version, although he had fixed the songs, he had gone back and put the wrong version of our highlight reel on (with the rain in the background). We are so sick of sending the flash drive back and forth to him (which he had us do for every alteration, making it a total of 7 months from the wedding to the last version we got), that we are just keeping it as is. After the wedding, he lacked a serious sense of professional obligation and commitment. We very much got the feeling that once he was done editing what he thought was fine, that he did not want to be bothered with details of customer satisfaction that were promised in our initial meeting, such as "being a part of the editing process", etc. Overall, Kyle has a good eye for video and quality cameras and equipment, but because of his lack of attention to details and his immature sense of professionalism, we'd only give Modern Touch Media 3 out of 5.

Kyle Martin and his assistant from Modern Touch Media are truly passionate about what they do! They spent the entire day filming our wedding in Geneva, and did such a fantastic job capturing all of the special moments. Both Kyle and his assistant were extremely professional and super easy to work with. They were able to obtain all of their footage, without being intrusive or interfering with any part of the day, and did a great job working hand in hand with our photographer. Kyle also did a great job communicating with me prior to the wedding, throughout the wedding day, as well as afterwards to keep me updated on his timeline. We just received our highlight video this week, and could not be more impressed with what he put together. It truly captured the emotion and beauty of our special day. It was so much fun to relive all of those wonderful moments. At first, my husband was not sold on the idea of investing into a wedding videographer; however, after watching what Kyle put together, he admits it was beyond worth it. I strongly recommend Kyle and Modern Touch Media! His work is phenomenal. Choosing them is the best decision a couple could make. We are so thankful for all of their hard work and for providing us with memories we will cherish for the rest of our lives! -Whitney and Pete Foltz

Kyle, the owner of Modern Touch Media (formerly Pure Video Productions) and his assistant Cameron did an exceptional job shooting our wedding events. While we're still awaiting our video, I wouldn't have booked with Kyle if I wasn't impressed by his unique and modern vision for videography, as shown through videos posted on his website. Both are extremely hardworking gentleman, and I cannot wait to see the final product.
