The selection was outstanding, with options ranging from passed hors d'oeuvres to chafing dishes, buffet-style items, and even a live carving station. There’s something for every guest to enjoy. And the drinks? Equally amazing! The ballroom is stunning, with a gorgeous chandelier, beautiful lighting, a spacious dance floor, and large windows at the back. The flow of the room is perfect, with a large bar in the same area, so everything feels connected. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about it! While the cocktail hour food was phenomenal, the main course was just as delicious. The venue’s beauty isn’t limited to the inside. Outside, the grounds are just as spectacular. While we opted to have our ceremony off-site at our church, we took advantage of the venue’s brand-new pond in the back for photos. Our photographer captured so many stunning shots, and our guests loved the picturesque landscape for their own photos. There’s also plenty of outdoor seating just off the ballroom, which was perfect for guests to enjoy some fresh air throughout the night. The bridal suite was another highlight. It was spacious, comfortable, and absolutely perfect for getting ready. We had a large group—8 bridal party members, 2 moms, 4 hair/makeup artists, and 2 photographers—and there was still plenty of room. The suite is beautifully designed, with ample counter space, natural light from the windows, and comfortable seating, making it ideal for both preparation and photos. Sal even provides champagne and a full lunch with the bridal suite - which was perfect! The staff truly made our experience unforgettable. Sal and Stephanie went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Their professionalism, responsiveness, and dedication to making our dream wedding come to life were unmatched. Planning from out of town could have been challenging, but Sal made it so convenient for us to schedule appointments when we were in town, which we really appreciated. Everything about this venue was incredible, and we can’t thank Sal and Stephanie enough for helping us have the best day of our lives. From the renovated bar and bridal and groom suites to the completely new outdoor space, Sal and his team showed us why it was THE place to get married. 4 weeks later we get compliments almost daily on the food, atmosphere, and even the champagne. From the cocktail hour through the main course to the dessert room that capped off the night, the food was delicious and unbelievable. They have made so many beautiful additions to the venue even from when we booked the venue last year until our wedding. The venue is absolutely stunning. Of course, we’ve received so many compliments from our guests (and especially our families) on the quality and amount of food, the bartenders, and overall just how much of an amazing time everyone had in a beautiful atmosphere. With my husband being Italian, food was an incredibly important part of our wedding for my husband and our families. Everything was so delicious and amazing. Both the late night to go option and international coffee stations (thank you Sal!) were a huge hit with all of our guests. Amazing, amazing, amazing. Through every step and with all of our details, Sal was extremely accommodating to ensure our vision was brought to life. The food was so delicious, and the amount of food was insane! We truly could feel how much Sal, Stephanie, and the Mohawk staff care about their work, and they made us, our families, and our guests feel like we were top priority. He kept in contact with me and ensured me that he had this under control. Sal, his wife Stephanie and their team went above and beyond. All of our guests left happy from the wedding. Some guests said it was the best wedding they went to and they all left extremely full! Speaking of food…their cocktail hour is AMAZING. So many options people thought it was the actual dinner. Then the Viennese table…OMG! If you have a sweet tooth definitely splurge for the desserts. You and your guests won’t be disappointed! You could smell the sugar and desserts as soon as you walked into the room! I’ve been fortunate enough to get to know Sal over the year that we’ve been planning the wedding. He gets to know his bride and groom and makes sure that they are happy. If you want something specific he’ll do his hardest to get it done for you! Sal truly out did himself and I would recommend them to everyone!

My bridesmaids, mother and mother in law, and grandmothers took advantage of the bridal suite, and my husband with all his guys and fathers took advantage of the groomsman suite, which led to us having the easiest, most calming morning and afternoon leading up to our on-site ceremony in the evening. Included in the suites were a delicious lunch, which only makes sense considering how amazing the food was at cocktail hour and the reception. The ceremony was beautiful, and spaciously accommodated the 215ish guests that we had attend that day. The cocktail hour was a true highlight, as our guests continue to tell us how amazing the food and service was. Along with everything else, our reception was everything we could have ever dreamed of and more. Our wedding was simply perfect. It’s not only the beautiful venue that made our day so special, but the people behind it. Sal and his wife Stephanie are genuinely incredible people. They are professional, calming, caring, and we could not have asked for better treatment. We are sad our wedding is over because we truly loved Sal and his wife! Big Win!! After that, we met, got their brochure of food, chatted about general venue things etc. before fully booking. Sal was super attentive between email and phone calls about any questions before and after booking the venue. He always replied promptly and even let me know when he would be out of town with family and had me book any meetings prior to him leaving so we were scheduled. I’m sure he got sick of us emailing so much but you would not have known because he was so professional. Day of wedding; Sal and his wife Stephanie were SO attentive. They greeted us immediately when we arrived; He told me they would be but I’ve never done this before so I wasn’t sure what it actually entailed. They made sure we had drinks/water (I didn’t visit my bar once!) They had us on the schedule after chatting with the other vendors. They made sure we had food from cocktail hour and dinner and dessert hour so we were able to have everything. Stephanie even made sure I had my change of shoes under the table ready to go!! All my guests raved about the food and atmosphere and from what I know nothing fell out of sorts. After the wedding I retrieved my personal items the next day and briefly worked with someone else who was just a friendly and helped move everything to my car. I’ve contacted Sal since and same attitude and attentiveness as before our wedding. There is many things I can say about the venue from the bridal and groom suite (more venues need those) we didn’t take full advantage since ceremony was elsewhere. Great photo opportunities , To the food, to the service and care. Definitely consider here if you’re looking for a venue!

d just felt right to host family and friends for our wedding. The booking process was extremally easy and best bang for our buck. Sal just made us feel so welcome and eased us that it would be a easy process. The whole venue was prefect from front entrance with the champagne table and a lovely seating area to the separate cocktail hour room then to the ball room with the brand new bar. Just wow!! The food.....not sure what to say because it was just absolutely AMAZING!!! (We are still talking about it a week later and cant wait to go to a wedding here) Day of in the beautiful bridal suite was picture prefect. The marble floors, couches to hang out on, the beauty bar for hair and make up, private bathroom in the suite, coffee maker, drink cooler and included with champagne, fruit and cheese platters and subs with homemade chips. AMAZING!!!! Sal was very attentive in things we asked for and brought them back to us so fast. Staff the whole day of asked how I was doing if I needed anything any time they saw me. I felt so special. They did everything I asked for and it just made the whole day extremally relaxing and stress free. I would book with them in a heart beat again for any large event.

My sister in law got married at their sister place, the Highland. I’d 10/10 recommend the Mohawk River Country club to anyone looking for a wedding venue. It was a no brainer to pick it for the food and the open bar to have the absolute best wedding. I literally have no complaints. My guests told me that they absolutely adored the food, both at dinner and the cocktail hour. It was to the point that the bartenders knew what everyone was drinking by the second round, which is impressive considering we had a headcount of 175. Sal and his wife Stephanie were so amazing and helpful throughout the entire day and always made sure my Husband and I had a drink at all times. They listened to everything we said and wanted for our day and made it happen. The food was amazing and all of our guests raved about how delicious everything was and left very full and happy. I was told multiple times this was the nicest wedding they had attended. Deb, the bartender went above and beyond and left to purchase drinks one of our groomsmen wanted due to dietary restrictions and was so funny and talkative with everyone. We did not have to lift a finger with cleaning up. Once the reception was over, all of our stuff was packed up and ready to be put into our car so we could go enjoy the rest of the night together. We had such an amazing time and I would recommend to anyone to get married here. Thank you so much everyone!

Any questions we had were answered immediately, any dilemmas we had were solved instantly through out the entire planning process. We were ensured everything would be exactly how we wanted it for our special night and they did that for us and then some. Everything about the venue was incredible. The food was amazing, the service was outstanding, the dj we were recommended had everyone off their feet. The bartenders never left anyone waiting, the beverages were top notch, before the last sip of our drinks were gone Sal already had another one in front of us so we didn’t miss a moment. Our guests are still reaching out to us raving about how good of a time they had, several stating it was the best all around wedding they’ve ever been to. We cannot thank Sal, Stephanie and the entire crew enough, and recommend them to the highest degree. The reception space is BEAUTIFUL and the perfect size and layout. We were very impressed with the wait staff - they were professional, polite, and made sure we had everything we needed. We are foodies! And could go on and on about how delicious the food was. The cocktail hour is slamming! There is so much food included. We mingled with our guests during cocktail hour because we did not want to miss out. Everyone was raving about all of the food and how delicious it was! We also added the dessert bar onto our package. If you add this onto your package, they reopen the cocktail hour area and have a plethora of desserts and dessert drinks! If you have a sweet tooth, we highly recommend this! Everyone loved this!! We couldn't be happier with this venue and highly recommend it.
