Mohegan Manor

Mohegan Manor is very accommodating to any food or drink preferences you may have. They will go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your day as much as possible and the wait staff was phenomenal! Quite a few of us went to brunch the next morning and more than half of the staff working brunch had been their fairly late the night before catering to us and helping to clean up but you would never have been able to tell! The venue its self was absolutely beautiful!

The Mohegan Manor was a wonderful place for us to have our ceremony and reception! The building has a classic elegance that we absolutely fell in love with the moment we walked in for our initial meeting with high ceilings, hardwood floors and lots of unique and intricate details that you can't find in other venues. The food was wonderful during our cocktail hour and buffet and we got lots of complements from our guests about how much they enjoyed everything too! Everyone that we worked with there was very helpful and helped us keep our price down. There were lots of choices for everything, almost too many which made it kind of difficult to make decisions and we didn't receive a list of possible options to choose from to give us ideas. Also we were never given a contract or information about guidelines for when payments were due or how many drink options we were able to choose for our beer and wine bar. This made it somewhat difficult to make some decisions when planning our wedding but when we called or emailed with our questions they were answered promptly. Also at the Mohegan Manor they give you the option to use their house DJ at no additional cost for the wedding! We decided to use their house DJ and he was also wonderful! He emailed us a wedding DJ worksheet that we filled out before the wedding with our first dance song etc. Also in conversations with them we were told that we would be able to have their limousine pick me and my bridesmaids up where ever we were and drive us to the Mohegan Manor before the wedding but during our final meeting we were told that we couldn't have them pick us up. I was ok with this and we made other arrangements but if riding in a limo is important to you then I would make limo arrangement with a limo company. In all everything was wonderful and we had a fantastic wedding!!! :)

They provided a wedding coordinator that did a fantastic job. We were a little terrified because the person we signed the contract with left half way through our planning and we weren't informed until we showed up for our 30 day meeting. But nevertheless they took care of us and provided a great day!
