Molly’s Bridal Closet

I actually purchased my dress from Lulu's Bridal across the street and brought it over to Molly's for alterations. The process was so smooth and I felt very confident leaving my dress with them. At the first visit, we went ahead and scheduled out all of my remaining appointments so I could get them on the calendar well in advance which made planning with my relatives and bridal party for fitting very easy. They fit the dress to my body like a glove and made some design changes so my dress was truly unique. They were timley, organized and helpful in every situation. I would absolutely choose Molly's again!

Ladies PLEASE don’t get your dress altered here. I paid $960 and I honestly have no idea what they even changed on the dress beside taking it in and adding boob pads. The first fitting they were very nice but i just felt taken advantage of. After they pinned my dress they took me to a side room to tell me the price. I asked to take a picture of the itemized receipt and they said pictures weren’t allowed and if i didn’t want to proceed with alterations that i would still be charged for pinning. The service they provide is not worth the price. Overall, they just seem to run a sketchy operation. There were snags and pulls on the fabric of my dress and it did not look like a $960 alteration job. Best of all I was charged $300 for a bustle and when i picked up the dress the bustle was horrible. I asked for a sleek american bustle and the bustle that he created looked like an square envelope that was stuck right under my butt. I ran around town last minute begging places to help me because it was only 5 days before i left for my wedding. A sweet lady fixed my bustle and charged $20 and it looked amazing!

10/10. Got my dream dress for such a good price. Lisa is the best and she knows that not everyone is rich lol

I'll be honest, seeing this little bridal shop in the mall, I didn't expect to find as much there as I did. It looks much smaller than it really is! I went on a Sunday afternoon, which is apparently one of their slower times. The customer service was absolutely amazing. They clearly had opinions about what I was trying on, and they were kind about expressing them. They also did an excellent job of listening to what I wanted and how I felt about gowns. Overall, I was thrilled with the service and the selection!

A hidden gem! I came into the store looking for a very specific color for a bridesmaid dress. Although I was not able to find what I needed for the wedding, I came across tons of beautiful dresses for unbeatable prices! Walked out with a dress for an upcoming gala for $35. Myra was VERY welcoming, attentive, amd helpful. I had a great experience and I will definitely remember this store for bridal shopping in the future.

Molly’s bridal was an absolute dream to work with and my stylist Lauren and seamstress Ruth from Lulu’s made it possible to have my dream dress for my wedding. They were prompt with appointments and listened to every request that I had. I wanted 3/4 quarter sleeve added to a strapless dress and they worked so hard to make it happen. Not only was my dress made specifically for me; no one will have that exact look and I find that so special.

Karla was amazing! She was very friendly and helpful in helping me make a decision. She was very quick in decipomy style and what I was looking for. She made me feel very comfortable and anticipated my needs. Karla made my wedding dress purchase a great, memorable experience.

Karla at Molly's Bridal was amazing. She listened to what I was looking for and helped me stay in budget, while also finding the most beautiful wedding dress I've ever seen. I am so thrilled with their selection, especially as a plus-size bride who went to seven stores to try on dresses until I found "the one"! Most stores pay lip service to the Plus Size crowd, only carrying one or two dresses so you have to order (nonrefundable) a dress that may or may not flatter you. Molly's Bridal specializes in plus sizes and has FANTASTIC diversity in their selection. Really beautiful store too - perfect for taking photos with your mom and bridesmaids!

I absolutely loved Molly's! Being a curvy woman, it can sometimes be hard to find the perfect dress that you have in your mind. I found my dream dress at Molly's. There were so many to choose from and the whole process from start to finish was seamless! I would definitely recommend them to any curvy bride that is looking for her perfect wedding dress!!!

My daughter and I are very pressed for time. We walked in, were helped immediately and she had numerous selections to try. As can be expected what the woman suggested - her first dress - is what she chose. It is gorgeous. And I was able to find my mother of the bride dress as well. A big accomplishment in our to-do list for the wedding. HIghly recommend this place! Good Value, Great Service.

By far the WORST bridal store I have gone to, they were rude as soon as we got there. We started picking out dresses to try on and Valerie stops us and says, "I think that's enough." First clue. They weren't nice until we were interested in a dress. They were days away from having a 50% off sale. They convinced us that they would put the dress on hold and that the morning of the sale, they would charge our card so we could get the discount. I thought sure why not, thinking that they were being friendly and trying to help a bride out. I told them, though, that this was my first store to try on wedding dresses at and that we were still looking. They said we could call the morning of the sale before they run the charge and cancel it if we decide we didn't want it, so they could put it back on the rack for the sale. She told us to call early because they usually don't answer the phone on the day of those sales because of how busy it is. Well, we ended up finding a different dress that I liked more at another boutique. So we called the morning of the sale, like they said, and left a voicemail canceling the order. They ended up charging us anyway. When we realized what had happened, we simply tried to get a refund. They refused. They then said that there was no record of a voicemail. I get an email from a woman I had never spoken to saying that I had given her my payment information over the phone which is completely false. Realizing there was just a lot of miscommunication, I asked if I could at least just have a store credit to maybe get a veil since I don't need two dresses. Flat out refusal. Then she starts telling me, the dress has to be picked up by a certain date or it goes back on the floor. Wedding planning is hard enough and if you run a bridal store, you should be willing to work with brides. Completely astounded by the terrible customer service I have seen. Now, I have a dress I am trying to resell that is without the belt that it was supposed to come with. I live 2 hours outside of town, so I had to send my grandma to pick it up since they refuse to work with people. When, I finally get the dress from her, the cover is basically a pink plastic trash bag and missing the belt that was with it when I had originally tried it on. So unprofessional. I have told several people about this and will never recommend this store. My mistake to trust them in the first place. Lesson learned. ZERO stars. They only respond to good reviews. I haven't heard an apology or any type of response at all.

I went looking for my bridal gown and Victoria really helped me out. She was incredibly patient with my indecision and helped me out with so many gowns. She was also very knowledgeable about all of the gowns there and answered all of my many questions about each gown. The selection there was truly amazing and I loved the whole experience. If you're wanting a unique dress and a relaxing shopping experience, I would definitely recommend A Bridal Closet

As a plus sized bride I was petrified of dress shopping but Molly's was the answer to my prayers. Lauren was so personable, had a fantastic sense of humor, and was able to perfectly bring my dreams to life. I loved how throughout the appointment she was teaching me about the different details of each dress so I was able to be more specific about what I liked/didn't like about every dress I put on. The icing on the cake was when, after saying yes to a dress, she changed the lighting in the room so it really highlighted the dress and played my wedding song. Everyone was in happy tears and still, hours later, I have chills. I HIGHLY recommend Molly's!!!

Such an amazing bridal experience even though I didn't end up purchasing a dress! Lauren was fabulous! She tried every possible option to make my look happen within my time frame. I love the whole experience at Molly's Bridal!! This is a place where thick, curvy girls aren't ashamed of their bodies. Every dress either fits or may be a little too big (that doesn't happen... like ever). They make you feel so comfortable, calm and above all, Beautiful! I was lucky enough to get the All-knowing Nancy! She knows her stuff, and isn't afraid to give it to you straight! She is funny and so charming!! She helped me find my dream dress, and she even found a veil that matched perfectly! I can't imagine going anywhere else for the perfect Bridal experience!! Lauren helped me find my perfect dress. She was so accommodating and made me feel like such a special bride. I never felt pressured and she was so supportive. The dress selection was amazing for women that can't fit into the size 10 samples at the other stores. The salon was very personal and I felt important from the moment I walked in. The prices were great also. LOVED this place and my experience!

I didn't shop here for Bridal but for a formal dress for a sorority event. I highly recommend it because they have "bridesmaids" dresses off the rack and no higher then $100. Being in a sorority they like us to have certain colors for certain events like a short red dress or a long navy blue dress, so this place was a great find! I will defiantly be going back for future events and suggesting it to all my sisters. Just keep in mind there sizes run extremely small so don't let it discourage you they are all like that, and they have a range of sizes. Victoria and Myra were so kind and helpful!

I had such a great time at A Bridal Closet. My granddaughter was looking for a Bridal gown, and I was looking for a grandmothers dress. They have such a great selection and everything is at a discounted price. I worked with Victoria and she really helped my grandaughter narrow everything down. Myra was also very helpful helping me find a dress for the grandmother . My experience at the Bridal Closet was very enjoyable . I will go back again . Thanks Victoria and Myra!!

My experience at Molly's Bridal was perfect! The shop itself is gorgeous and the showroom is a glittering masterpiece. Courtney was super helpful and listened to everything I wanted. Not a single dress was shown that was out of my budget or style preference. She was supportive and lovely to my mother and best friends. The whole experience was wonderfully fun and not at all stressful. They even have dimming lights so you can see your dress in various lighting! It was an amazing experience and will be a treasured memory. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

Amazing!!!!! I showed up without an appointment because the appointment I had earlier that morning at another bridal shop went so badly. My mother and I asked if we could first just look at dresses and they let us. I found 2 dresses that I absolutely had to try on. So I asked was there any way I could try them on and the girl checked with her manager who said she would help me when she finished with another bride who was purchasing her wedding dress. We waited maybe 20 minutes and then I got the best service I have ever had in my life. The first dress I put on was the dress it got me and I felt so comfortable during the visit. I was discouraged from my earlier appointment and Lauren the manager made my day. She was amazing!!!!! She even picked the right belt and headband for me and my dress. She even dimmed the lights to give me an idea what my dress will look like at the time of my wedding. I cried and so did my mother. I absolutely recommend this place to any plus size bride u will not be disappointed at all. I mean when u walk in there is even a dress on display that's a size 24!!!! The best experience for I have ever had and I would do it again. They make u feel like family when u walk in.

Loved this place! Didn't even plan on trying on dresses the day I walked in, and I ended up finding my dress (and it was the first one I tried on). Love the people who work here! They are wonderful!

I can't begin to say how amazing of a day I had trying on dresses here. As a plus size bride, I had anxiety about dress shopping and not being able to find THE dress. They had the most beautiful selection of dresses and my anxiety immediately went away from the moment I started trying on dresses. Lauren, the manager, was so welcoming and Alyssa,my stylist, was amazing at helping me find dresses to try on. I said 'yes' to THE dress and can not wait to get married in it. I HIGHLY recommend Molly's Bridal!

Alyssa is the go-to girl here! She was amazing! I could not have asked for a more better experience than this. I loved that she didn't make me feel self-conscious (which was super important to me). I also loved the fact that I was able to ACTUALLY try on dresses! Not pin them to me like what I have heard a lot of plus size brides have to go through. Molly's was TOTALLY worth the drive from San Antonio! Even if you don't buy a dress, the experience itself will make you feel amazing. I left with the dress of my dreams! Lauren, the store manager, is also awesome as well! They have an awesome team of ladies here and you won't regret it!

Y'all, I cannot say enough about how AMAZING Molly's is! From the moment I walked in, the staff was so sweet and helpful. I wasn't exactly sure what style I would like, but Nancy was so patient, encouraging, and honest about each of the dresses I tried on. It was so nice walking in and not being limited to just a couple dresses that would fit me (I'm a size 22), but to be able to browse all of them and pick my favorites. I would definitely recommend anyone to go there, you won't need to look anywhere else! ❤️

This weekend, I had the pleasure of visiting Molly's Bridal. Lauren, my consultant walked us to our own private room where there was as robe waiting for me. I felt so comfortable talking to her and she made my family and I feel at home. Shopping as a curvy bride can be a hard thing to do and it really means the world to feel that someone cares.

I found the perfect dress! After trying on so many sample dresses at other shops that were made for size 2 ladies, it was such a relief to go to a place where the sample sizes fit a full figured person like myself!

I was really nervous about trying on dresses, because I know how tiny the dress samples are at most boutiques. I was relieved when I found The Curvy Bride, because every sample gown was actually too big on me! I could actually fit into the sample without my back hanging out and exposing me to the world! I wish they had more options to choose from in the store, but I was just happy they have a store like this! I tried on about 6 dresses and the lady that helped me made me feel beautiful and comfortable. I picked a dress and loved the way I looked on my wedding day. I am so grateful that I could go to a place where the sample gowns weren't for super thin people!

I can not give this bridal salon enough praise. I went in thinking I was just going to look around, and I wasn't going to buy anything. My bridal consultant was Melissa Anne. What a dream. She showed me how beautiful my body is, and I can not WAIT to wear my fit and flair dress in October! Thank you for everything!

This outlet is perfect for those of us with expensive taste and a small budget. Elaine was wonderful and helped us find three dresses we loved. The dress we ended up buying would have retailed for $4300 -- and we paid $550. My daughter's wedding is relatively soon, so buying off-the-rack was the perfect option for us. We highly recommend A Bridal Closet!

I loved this place! I found my dress here and the experience was wonderful! I loved that the sample sizes were big enough for me to try on. They were so flexible and kind. I really suggest this for any plus size bride. You will feel so loved and cared for here!

This place was great! After looking at a couple bridal boutiques and not being able to even try on the ones that were out of my budget...this place had it all. I got to try on formerly $5,000 dresses and more! My dress was discontinued and it ended up costing $1,000 marked down from $4,000! What a steal!

This shop was the first place I looked for my wedding dress and turned out to be the only place I looked. They have so many beautiful designer dresses at great prices because they sell the sample dresses from two other high end bridal boutiques in Dallas, Lulu's and Stardust Celebrations. My close friends and family and I had the best time as I tried on dress after dress and found the one that was absolutely perfect for me! We also found my beautiful cathedral length veil here. I would highly recommend looking at this shop when you are looking for dresses. The best part is you get to take your dress with you that day!

I came into get my dress not expecting to find it that day let alone the first dress I tried on! I walked in and was immediately helped. I tried on a bunch of dresses and the woman who helped me was so helpful and she ended up giving me a champagne ribbon that I later wore on my dress as a sash for free! I was so pleased with my dress and got nothing but compliments on it! The best thing was I found it for below my budget! :)

I purchased an out of season designer dress off the rack here for a great price. I was initially going back and forth between 2 dresses and the store manager/employee was wonderful. She put both on hold for me for a week to give me time to decide between the 2. Her non pushy approach and willingness to help me decide, check up on me and provide such great customer service is one of the reasons I decided to go with this dress store. It was also great because I saved a lot buying in buying designer dress. found something more original and was able to get it altered to fit me perfectly (it was originally way too big!). They're open later on the weekends as well since they're in a mall which made it nice to stop by after we'd been to other dress stores that closed earlier.

My dress was gorgeous. Decent price. The shop is outdated and needs some seious updates.

Debra was my consultant and she was such a huge help. She was friendly, professional, and really knew how to make the experience fun and meaningful. We found my perfect dress thanks to her help, but ALL of the dresses here are absolutely gorgeous!

A Bridal Closet is a great find. Believe it or not it is in the mall, The Shops at Willowbend, in Plano. It is owned by Stardust and Lulu's and their sample dresses go to A Bridal Closet. Walk in, try it on and walk out with your dress that day!

Wasn't too impressed with the selection and prices

I went here to find a dress, it was pretty overpriced so I ended up getting one online for much cheaper.

I went to around 5 different dress shops to try on dresses because I knew exactly the type of dress that I wanted, a mermaid dress with a train and simple, not a lot of bling bling because I'm not that kind of girl! But I wanted it to be elegant without spending a fortune, because I am also not the type to spend over 1000 to have the latest and greatest dress that I will wear one time for one day!! After looking around someone told me about this place in the willowbend mall, they get all there dresses from two big name wedding dress stores (Stardust in Plano and Lulu's in Dallas) the only thing with this place is, is that it is buy off the rack so the dress I ended up falling in love with was a size 12 and I am a size 2!! But the ladies that worked there are soooo nice and spent time with me and went into the fitting room with me and helped my get the dresses on and clip me to wear they fit perfectly on me!! I found two that I liked there, both under 1000 and I went to lunch to think about it and came back and bought it! It was a little bit more than what I thought I would spend, and still had to get it altered, but I loved it and so did my mom and brother and I still haven't seen anything close to my dress!! So it was totally worth it!! They gave me two alteration ladies numbers and I called the favorite one, Ruth!! She was awesome!! I went to her house in Plano and she had a whole station set up in the back of her house and that dress fit my like a glove at my bridal shoot and she told me that if I needed a touch up or anything before the wedding just to call her and she would do it! She was amazing!! My dress was ivory satin with a little bit of bling underneath my boobs and around to the back, so just enough to make the dress look alive!! It had a french bussle and she numbered everything for me and my mom and she even put a something blue ribbon with a love charm under there!! She did a great job and didn't charge me an arm and a leg to do it!! I would HIGHLY recommend the bridal store and the alterations lady :) Both were great!!

I discovered this store by chance when walking around the mall. I went back with my mom and a few close relatives to try on a larger selection of dresses. While I was there I was torn between two dresses (one I had fell in love with alone and the one I wound up buying). I was really unsure about which to buy, and the sales person just kept reminding me that since they were samples I would run the risk of losing the dress if I waited. I felt really pressured and bought a dress that I was unsure of. They referred me to a REALLY good seamstress (Atelier Tailor in Plano), and my dress wound up being perfect. I'm really not sure about value. I saw the original price and the "bridal closet" price on the tage, but I'm not sure that those are accurate. My dress was discontinued, so I haven't found the exact dress online. The "original price" seems very high for the brand I chose though based on looking at similar dresses from the same designer.

I love how they dont pressure you to buy anything and are super nice. You'll find designer dresses here that have been marked down quite a bit and they're all in really great condition.
