Mona Lisa Catering was absolutely awesome! The food was great. I received many compliments on how delicious the food was. The staff and servers were very professional and attentive. Working with Willie for my daughter's wedding was very nice. He made sure that everything was going as planned. He knows his stuff! The presentation for the reception was spectacular! My daughter and I couldn't have been happier! I was so glad I hired their services. I highly recommend Mona Lisa Catering to others who are looking for top notch catering. Thank you all so much!!

I cannot say enough great things about MaryAnn and Mona Lisa Catering. From the first meeting in their home office to the final meeting in their new location, they have been warm, helpful, and professional. Before the tasting we planned on choosing something other than the basic chicken and veggies/rice dish to try and be a little 'fancier'. But after tasting the chicken with mushroom sauce at our first meeting, we realized it was absolutely delicious and we didn't need to 'uograde'! We ultimately decided to get the chicken dish to keep cost down so that we could splurge on a taco bar, which Mona Lisa also provides. In our final meeting, five days before our wedding... Because we booked so far in advance (over a year), a few things had changed and needed to be adjusted. Our Day-of-Coordinator provided some dishware in her package, and had chargers that we liked more than the gold ones we were going to get from Mona Lisa. MaryAnn had no issues removing it from our invoice, even though it would mean less money from us. On our wedding day, they showed up with plenty of time to set up all our tables along with our Day-of-Coordinator while I relaxed and got ready. MaryAnn came to me a couple times to ask my opinion on how things should look, which I absolutely loved, because I'm a very hands-on person, but couldn't decorate things myself. It made me feel much more involved. She also came and showed me pictures when everything was set up and finished! We had cheesecake and brownies for dessert instead of cake, and a few days before our big day, I texted with MaryAnn to make sure we'd have enough for everyone. She suggested getting an extra one just in case. With all of the planning and things I needed to remember, the day of the wedding I realized I forgot to get the extra cheesecake. She assured me it would be fine and that they would figure it out. Later on she even got an extra cheesecake while she was at a grocery store. I offered to pay her back but she never pressed the matter. The food was absolutely delicious, (literally every wedding guest told me so) and the wait staff brought us drinks from the bar even though our bar service was separate from catering and they absolutely didn't have to grab us drinks. All of the staff was friendly and hardworking! The taco bar later in the night was an absolute hit! With 3 kinds of tortillas, 3 kinds of meat and a ton of toppings, not only was it delicious but the set up looked great as well. At the end of the night they packed up all of the extra food and we were able to take it home with us. Believe it or not, the chicken and the leftover carne asada was still juicy and delicious even as leftovers! There are so many wonderful things to mention, these are just a few of the great things I can say. Overall, MaryAnn went above and beyond to make our day perfect, and I cannot thank her enough. I highly recommend Mona Lisa Catering for your next event.

If you're planning an event of more than 100 people, your first and wisest decision is to call Mona Lisa Catering. From day one of our planning to the day of our event, working with Willie was a completely stress-free, very reasonable priced, learning experience. My husband and I celebrated our 50 year anniversary and entertained our friends at our home in a wonderful environment made more spectacular by the beautiful displays expertly created by Willie, his charming wife, and his professional and accommodating staff. What a night! Willie came early in the day to set up and prepare a delicious eating experience. Having visited our home earlier, Willie inspected and advised on how to optimize our space and create the perfect presentation, and on the day, everyone was prepared to go right to work with his well thought out plan. Every piece of advise Willie gave us was spot on-even when we had different opinions, he ended up correct. The success of our party was in large part due to our closely following Willie's endlessly patient and wise direction. All that said, nothing prepared us for how delicious the food we selected actually turned out-more superb than the tasting at Willie's home. Endless appetizers, main courses served hot and steaming, show stopping cake. Our guests, many of whom have had similar celebrations and were well versed on catering ups and downs, really raved at how wonderful the food was presented and how delicious everything, everything, tasted. Right at the start, the appetizers were nothing like the usual fare. The shrimp display was massive and endless, the handmade meat balls swimming in a dynamite sauce were outstanding, the puff pastry cheese triangles were a must have, and the homemade hummus was a real show stopper, along with the other dishes Willie added to the hors d'oeuvres table. The chicken was moist, had a wonderful flavor and the vegetable lasagne was unbeatable. Even the vegetables and rice served with the main meal were perfectly delicious. We selected a cake from a very large number of choices from Willie's collection and it too was a big hit. This event was not our first foray into grand entertaining. We had two large weddings for our daughters as well as other notable celebrations in various hotels. Our experience with Mona Lisa Catering was by far the best. Can't wait for the next!

My wedding was just yesterday and I couldn’t wait to write this review!! All my guests and I LOVED the food with comments such as “the appetizers at cocktail hour were so delicious” and “I ate that chicken up because it was so moist and loved the sauce that was on it” to “the fruit display was so pretty and loved eating all the fresh fruit.” But, most of all, we really LOVED Maryann because she was just so kind, genuine and worked really hard to make our day so special. She even found us a last minute heater rental (I ordered them the morning of the wedding) because we didn’t expect our big day to be chilly in the mountains of Southern California...I was telling everyone that our caterer went above and beyond for helping us with that last minute issue I found them at the knot.com and they had high recommendations and they were right!! We honestly feel really blessed to have had this Amazing Catering company do our wedding...They definitely made it a memorable one for us!! Thank you again Maryann, Willie and Mona! Willie, I just wanted to thank you for your help in providing us a great meal and service for our wedding. We received many compliments on the catering. One guest said he's been to many catered events, even in some restaurants, and this was the best meal he's had at any of them. The wait staff was friendly, courteous and professionally helpful. Your daughter worked well with John,the event coordinator, and helped everything go quite smoothly. A couple of people asked for your contact info so you might get some calls in the future. A Triumphant another Triumphant!! Our son who married five years ago hired Mona Lisa Catering for his wedding and our daughter who married this November followed suit for hers. It was a no brainer for our family to hire the same caterer twice. The service was professional the food was delectable. My husband and I received many complements concerning their service and food we just responded, "our caterer is awesome!" The entire agreement process from our first meeting with Willie until the day of the wedding was "as cool as a cucumber!" I would Highly recommend Mona Lisa Catering for your next celebration. The food was great! Every meeting with Willie was great up to the wedding! The were on time and the tables looked great!!!! Two problems, I heard that the flower girls mom was yelled at by Willie because she wanted to bring appetizers to the bridal party while we were taking pictures. He yelled at her that it was not allowed. My mother handled it and he apologized. Another thing was that both of the owners say in the middle table of our wedding and watched their staff from there. It was a little weird. Also, during our first dance, his wife walked right around us and ruined our video. She is in the entire thing. She should have not even been there. They could have stayed and observed from the outside. Other than those things.. Everything was great.

Wonderful!! I would definitely recommend Mona Lisa to anyone! The FOOD is outstanding. We and our guests all agreed wholeheartedly on that point! In each meeting, and on the day of the event, Willy and Mona were kind and supportive. They added a few elements to make it extra special for us. They really work to make the evening the best they can. The staff was professional, friendly and efficient. One note, they're so efficient that at the end of the night they started cleaning the tables so quickly we had to fish a few things out of the trash. So make sure your guests grab all of their belongings right away, even if they're staying to help clean up. ;-) There were a few differences of opinions between the caterers and family members looking out for our best interest, but those were handled; everyone had us in mind wanting to make the evening as great as it could be. There are SO many moving parts in a wedding. Again, I would definitely recommend Mona Lisa Catering for weddings or any special event. You and your guests will be pleased with your choice!

Spectacular!!! I was one happy bride! I recommend Mona Lisa Catering to everyone. They give the most bang for your buck. They are professional and know what they are doing. They showed up not a minute late. The table setting's were beautiful, the staff was friendly and helpful, and they blended in nicely. This was a great experience from beginning to end! When I first spoke with Willie, he made me fill that I was in good hands. From the tasting to the set up it was awesome. This was our first time using Mona Lisa for our work holiday event, they came recommended from the venue. Everything was beautiful, delicious and professional. I would certainly recommend them, our guests said it was the best holiday event we had.

Mona Lisa Catering was referred to me from my venue coordinator. I feel so lucky to have found them. We had a dinner for a special occasion and this was the best choice I could have made. The food and the presentation were great. The appetizers and fruit stand were beautiful to look at and very tasty. Dinner and dessert was delicious. I was very happy with the service and especially Willy. He was very easy to deal with and everything was as promised. This made my planning so easy and carefree. Mona Lisa Catering was absolutely amazing! They catered our wedding which consisted our 250 guests. They were totally professional and an absolute pleasure to work with. Willie knows exactly what he's talking about and is so helpful with recommendations that he felt would best suit our event. He is very thorough in explaining all cost and details which was very important to us. Mary Ann was also a pleasure to work with. She's extremely patient and super helpful. I felt so comfortable and calm and relaxed knowing that she was there. I had absolutely no doubt that she would take great care of us. This company is so passionate about what they do and through their service you can tell that they do it with their heart. The food was absolutely delicious and so many of our guest kept telling us how great the food was. Which made us really happy! First off I would like to start off by saying what pleasure it was to work with Willie and MaryAnn. Willie was extremely on top of his game. He knows exactly what he is talking about, and you can feel his experience through the questions he asks us, to better understand our wedding. Everything we discussed with him was very clear. I didn't feel there were any hidden expenses or anything we didn't discuss. He was very open about what he wanted from us as a customer, as well as, what we expected from him, and what was important to us at our wedding. I loved how detailed he was, from when our payments were due, to the smallest detail of how many lbs of ice and water we needed for our guests the day of. Every time we sent him an email, he would reply back right away. He joked with us, how important the final meeting was on the Monday before the wedding, and that "there shouldn't be any dress fittings that day." I am so glad we came, because even though I felt we were on top of all the details, we missed so many things that could have been a disaster the day of the wedding, had we not gone to finalize everything in our final meeting. I don't know how he does it, or how he can work to feed 250 guests without a kitchen. Some guests unfortunately could not make it to our wedding, last minute, but they were very good in packing any extra food we had leftover. During our initial meeting he had a really good detailed presentation of everything he offers. Everything from the appetizers, to the cake and the fruit display was exactly how he promised from his pictures. From their service to MaryAnn's supervision at our party, I couldn't have asked for a more professional caterer to service our event. I am definitely going to recommend Mona Lisa Catering to anyone who asks. You guys were awesome!

My wedding consisted of 200 guests. While the process was complicated because a lot of people didn't RSVP on time, Willie was extremely unprofessional. We had to drive from Perris CA to his office, in his home, in Porter Ranch, which was too far. He threatened to not show up to our wedding 2 weeks before the date if he didn't receive the final payment on the date of the contract. We ensured we had the money but we needed the weekend to drive out there and he wasn't having it. We had to rush to the postal office and overnight the money. I get theres a contract and deadlines but there was no consideration in the lengthy drive. To be honest we forgot the final due date which was our fault but the anger behind Willie was heartbreaking. For a bride, planning a wedding is extremely stressful and it is hard to fine tune details on time and especially traveling such a distance. Willie was not flexible and was angry while talking over the phone. He freely expressed his hate toward our venue but that's not our fault. I was always super relieved to speak with Maryanne. They do not provide water nor ice. We didn't know they needed 32 gallons of water until 2 weeks before the wedding and for a bride budgeting this is extremely unprofessional timing on their end. We were suppose to keep the leftovers as discussed but his workers were too much in a rush to speak with us on the day and their fowl attitude was evident towards our guests. I received multiple complaints about the manner in which they spoke to our guests and we did not get to keep any leftover food that was paid for. They were also given a schedule so for us to have to hunt them down to start cutting the cake was an added stress. Our "fruit bar" was a cut and hollow watermelon filled with grapes and other fruit. They refilled them but it was not a fruit BAR. It felt so cheap. The chicken dinner was tasty and affordable but the experience with Willie was every bride's nightmare. We received a lovely frame with our picture taken the day of, which was so sweet and it was interesting that Willie did not show up to our wedding when he initially said that he would. I can own up to my faults on the rsvp issues but his temper was too short for a first time bride. Sadly, as a result, I did not get to enjoy or have any excitement at any time of the planning of my wedding. Their chicken and cake were okay (hence the 2 stars) but collaborating with Mona Lisa Catering was not worth the stress and tears.

We absolutely love Mona Lisa Catering!! We had a 175 person wedding, and with Mona Lisa's help we managed to keep all of our guests full and happy! As most brides can attest the expense of planning a large wedding can be discouraging and force you to make unwanted concessions about the big day, but thanks to Mona Lisa we were able to afford EVERYTHING we wanted. All the beautiful trimmings that come with an elegant wedding were ours and we still can't believe it! That said however, Mona Lisa didn't only offer a great value, but more importantly also served a delicious meal with kind service. After our first meeting with them, my now husband said to me,"we just had a home cooked meal by professionals" and thats exactly right. They cater from the heart and do it very well. Mona Lisa I have to say is amazing!!! They did my wedding a few weeks ago and my husband and I are very pleased!! They took care of so much. They are very friendly. Mona lisa has been the number one caterers in our family for decades! Their service and food is great! I had a wedding party a couple weeks ago and they helped with everything, it was great. Maryann and her parents are such wonderful people and very flexible. As the bride, it is always stressful, but mona lisa catering took that stress away. The food was delicious!!! The appetizers were great, and the main course was amazing. We had rice, vegtables, tri-tip and chicken. After the party, lots of our guests provided great comments about the food! I would recommend them to everyone!

I had a beautiful wedding on Valentine's Day at the most romantic setting, and Mona Lisa Catering contributed greatly towards making this happen. The tables were exquisitely set, the appetizer and fruit stations looked beautiful and tasted great too! Chicken dinner was perfect especially the mushroom sauce. Vegetarian lasagna was also reportedly good. From setup to cleanup, I had no worries especially since this was a DIY event, the best wedding in our opinion and also our guests. Thank you, Wagdy!

I was married at the Diamond Bar center November 21,2014 had 200 guest. I was referred over to them by a family member and I never had any regret. The food was outstanding the professionalism and communication was superb. Willie and Mona always made sure everything tasted great and food was great. I will NEVER use another catering company ever again as long as they are still in business. I did not have a coordinator so I was a bit worried that the table would not be ready but when I walked in everything looked beautiful! They greeted me as I arrived and asked for a photo I said ok thought nothing of it later that night Willie came up to me and had an engraved frame with the picture we just took at the start of the night! it was soo touching I really love these people it was such a thoughtful gesture what other catering company do you know who does that? not only that price was good service came with waiter and china glass wear with no extra cost! AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!

I want start off by saying I was truly wowed by how nice everything was setup by Mona Lisa Catering. The décor was gorgeous, the food was delicious, and the flow throughout the whole event was executed nicely. I always found a server available when I had a request and they were genuinely pleasant to talk to. I am currently engaged, and didn't think twice to contact Mona Lisa Catering to cater my event. I already booked them and the tasting and presentation that they gave was so nice and I felt no pressure whatsoever from them at the meeting to sign. They were very helpful and I am getting really excited to see my event come together.

I want to start off by saying that although we had a positive experience throughout the whole process, you need to take the time to meet with your vendors multiple times and if your vendor cares about your business, they will take the time to discuss your requests and concerns. This family-run business showed us great customer service, pride in their business, and overall they were so great and fantastic in delivering exactly what they offered. Mona Lisa was the catering for my wedding that took place august 2 2014.I wanna say they did an excellent job . I feel they went above and beyond in making sure they did everything exactly how we wanted . My meeting were with willie, he was full of ideas but he work with my ideas and what I wanted . The day of my wedding his daughter is the one who was there and in charge . She was so nice and was on it with everything . I'm happy with their service they did a great job !

I was very pleased and overwhelmed with how beautiful th setup they provided was. Willie and his wife are super sweet and the servers were nice and fun. Mona Lisa Catering provided excellent service throughout my entire wedding process. They really worked with me and played a huge role on our special day. Food was very delicious and setup was beautiful. Pricing was a great deal as well.

We held our wedding in First Congregational Church this may and were very lucky to have Mona Lisa Catering as our cater. First of all, the price they charged was very very competitive. If we had gone for other caters for the same kind of food we would have at least paid 40% more. It was really a bargain. Second, people in Mona Lisa Catering (MaryAnn and Mr. Shenouda) are very professional. We didn’t hire wedding coordinator/planner and had to communicate with church and vendors on our own. Mona Lisa Catering saved us lots of time by negotiating with Church wedding coordinator on our behalves to work our a floor plan than met our needs. On our wedding data they showed up on time and set everything up on time. During our reception and dinner their service was friendly and attentive. After the dinner, they kindly packed all the left-over in clean boxes for us. Last but not least, the food they provided was top-notch. Appetizers were all very tasty. Fruit station was fantastic. We chose filet mignon and salmon as our main entree. They were all well cooked and servings of them were large. In a word, I highly recommend Mona Lisa Catering.

Mona Lisa Catering catered our daughter's wedding. From the 1st time we met Willie, my daughter and I knew we were at the right place. We felt extremely comfortable and confident that this was a 5 star catering company. Thanks to him and his staff's care, concern and professionalism, our reception was a great success. The fact that they were all SO accommodating, especially during the event, just made it that much smoother and a lot less stressful! The guests raved about the great food, the display of appetizers, and especially the wedding cake, which was to die for! We would definitely use them again! I would also recommend them to anyone!

Mona Lisa was OUTSTANDING!! My daughter's wedding was on 4/5/14 and from the moment we signed the contract through every step of the way Willie was so nice and eager to please and worked hard to meet our requests down to the last detail. To my dismay, we discovered only days before the wedding that it was on the Saturday of opening weekend at Dodger's Stadium and the venue was up the road from the stadium. Willie, family and crew showed up to the venue an hour ahead of schedule to avoid traffic and have the event ready on time with no extra charge for their time. We had 200 guests and the food was absolutely delicious! They were accommodating to our hectic schedule throughout the day. They were nice and pleasant and constantly checking in with me to meet my needs. The wait staff was very professional. Mrs. Mona was so sweet because when I told her after dinner that I was too busy and never ate dinner she personally made me a fresh hot plate! MaryAnn was the best and was constantly making sure everything was ok and asking what I needed. I would recommend Mona Lisa over and over again and if I am ever in the need of a catering service again I'm definitely going back to them! I give them 10 stars and 10 thumbs up! Mona Lisa is a first class catering company. They recently catered our wedding, and the food and organization were absolutely wonderful! When we met Willie he guided us through the whole process, helping us to create our vision while staying within on budget. We really wanted to have a fun wedding and that's what we got! :) Everyone had a great time and the food was FANTASTIC!!!!!!! During the reception my wife and I continually got compliments on how great the food was. We definitely will use them again for our other parties.
