The quality of their work and the value they provided was simply outstanding - the venue was clean, beautiful, and spacious with a wonderfully updated look and feel. On the day of our wedding, our planner Melissa was extremely attentive, keeping us organized and on schedule while also helping us stay calm. Without Melissa, our wedding day would have been completely different. We couldn't have done it without her and are so grateful she was our planner - she truly was the best part of our wedding experience with Monroe Pearson, Denton!

hing we needed for the day: venue rental, food, drinks, tables, chairs, linens, invites, wedding planner, etc. On top of that, the venue is very spacious and, for the most part, beautifully decorated with a rustic, dark brown wood aesthetic. Throughout the wedding planning process, we had multiple check-in calls with our assigned wedding planner, Melissa Austin, who guided us by helping us decide on different items related to the day that we had and had not even thought about. We were blessed to have had Melissa as our wedding planner, as she made the process and end product an amazing experience. Her extensive experience with weddings and overall attention to detail really shows how much of a professional she is! On the day of the wedding, she was there, ready to go, and had everything under control, which made the day less stressful for both the bride and groom. Melissa was always around in case we needed anything and was able to guide us throughout the rehearsal, ceremony, grand entrance, dinner, and dance. We really enjoyed that Melissa was able to keep us on schedule while also giving us time to enjoy and take in the moments! She never rushed us and was always cool, calm, and collected the whole time. At the end of the night, Melissa had packed up all our gifts, cards, and even separate to-go boxes with food and dessert in our send-off vehicle, which was just an amazing final touch for us, as usually the bride and groom rarely get to enjoy food and dessert. We could not have had a better planner for our big day. Thank you again, Melissa, for making the day incredible! Honorable mentions: DJ Dani (Daniela), who kept the vibes up the whole time and nailed the type of music we wanted 1000%. She also offered to help with anything and everything that day and just played nonstop bangers the whole time. Bartenders: All of our guests had a great experience with the bartender assigned to us. The gentleman was constantly checking up on the bride and groom, even before last call.

lanning meetings to the send-off at the end of the night, she was so calm and organized. Our day would not have been as wonderful without her. Our DJ, Carson (CoHost Entertainment), was incredible. Our family and friends still talk about how great of a DJ he was for our special day. Our photographer, Christopher (Emily Chappell Photography), was such a gem. He took the time to get to know my husband and I throughout the day and we felt so comfortable taking our photos with him. We are so thankful for all of the vendors that were a part of our special day!

The bartenders were fantastic, providing excellent service and keeping our family and friends well taken care of throughout the night. However, the true star of the show was our wedding planner, Melissa. Melissa went above and beyond in every possible way. She took the time to understand our vision and brought it to life beautifully. Her dedication and attention to detail were unmatched. She made sure every aspect of our day was perfect, accommodating all our requests and ensuring everything ran smoothly. hour, and reception all in one place made it easy for our guests! Many family and friends even reached out to use the venue in the future. Even if it’s not for a wedding, Monroe Pearson is such a great venue for any event.

. Like everyone else I saw a couple bad reviews but most were great so I ignored them and that will be my biggest regret from me wedding. First off the venue is actually stunning which is why this is so disappointing to write. I also want to make it clear I am NO bridezilla all of our complaints are purely just the basic choices you make when working with a venue who only provides in house catering. When you reach out they will be very communicative and set up a meeting very quickly but once that contract is signed is when it will go downhill. Through out the entire planning process it will be very difficult for you to get consistent answers from anyone working this venue. At least for us, every-time we had a meeting at the venue we had a different person and each one said different information when we asked questions. When we would ask for clarification we would always be answered with “we will check on that and get back to you” which never happened. If you are told Crystal G will be your head coordinator, you will never see her even if you had a scheduled meeting with her specifically. We are convinced she doesn’t exist. And for us this was our details meeting which is the most important final meeting to go over all the things you chose. We had a confirmed meeting and showed up the the venue and she wasn’t there. No text no call nothing to let us know. Thankfully another woman named Christie was there to let us in and to run the meeting but it was difficult because she had no idea what was going on with our wedding. Once we got home we got an email from Crystal about some of the things we went over and never even acknowledged her being absent. Now let’s go over all the choices we made with the venue and how many things we received. We were told in every meeting we had that we could substitute the wine no problem at no extra charge we would just have to pick from a list the had. They never provided the wine list until the very last second after us asking about 5 times and then told it was a $2 charge per person for the substitutions. Luckily we complained that was never communicated and they didn’t charge but the 2 wines we chose were then not the wines served at the wedding. We had asked the venue at every single meeting how do we play the music for the ceremony. It’s a wedding venue so you’d think they could easily answer that. No. Not a single person could show us where you could hook up a phone, IF you could even hook up and phone or how. I was only told I need an aux adapter so I went out and bought 2 but that was wrong it was a very specific adapter. We didn’t get that answer officially until my REHEARSAL which we then had to get some friends to go out and buy said specific adapter. Thank god I had some tech friends there to figure all that out for the venue since they knew nothing. Next we had 166 people at our wedding which is large and people want to come and drink so we needed to make sure we would have enough bartenders. Also that both sides of the bar would be open to guests. We clarified in every meeting we have a group of people who enjoy drinks so this was extremely important that it wouldn’t be a problem. We were assured this wouldn’t be an issue and all sides of the bar would be open. On the actual wedding day we only had 2 bartenders for 166 people and only one side of the bar open the entire time so there was consistently a long line to get drinks. Not to mention the bartenders were SO RUDE to everyone. We were told by half of our guests they didn’t get any appetizers or even see them being passed around. So I imagine there was not enough staff to get to most of the guest and probably not enough appetizers. We paid for a late night snack to be passed around at 9 pm. They never passed them around they just set them on a back table and when I asked why Is there such a small amount they said they only provide about half with the assumption half the guests would leave by that point. We paid for our wedding guest count to all get a snack so if that’s not the case that should have been specified in the contract. The bar also tried to shut down early because they said we started service early. The grooms men asked for some beers and if that’s what they consider service starting early that’s so incredibly ridiculous. Don’t even get my started on how if I hadent hired my own wedding planner when Michael and I did our entrance we would have been locked out of the building because they have no one around to help you and no communication on those things being possible. So if you plan your entrance from the stairs make sure you have someone on the other end to let you in or you’ll be locked out. There are probably about 20 more things I could go on and on about but I think this does a good job of letting you know that if you want to be stressed, never fully communicated with, have a venue with a staff who has no idea what the hell is going on and so disappointed then book this venue.

ade sure everything was perfect for us and they truly went above and beyond. Thank you to Amanda for helping me plan my dream wedding (in THREE months!!!) and being the sweetest human being. She made sure she was a part of our special day until the very last moment and even signed up to serve that night….and I’m so thankful I got to experience all of that with her. Thank you to Tabitha for helping me make sure all of the final details were taken care of the day of the wedding and making sure I (the bride) didn’t have a panic attack. Lol. And last but not least, Latecia you were THE best!! Thank you for being so organized at our rehearsal so that our ceremony could run so smoothly. Thank you for taking care of me all night because without you I think I would have lost it.😂 you genuinely saved the day when we couldn’t get my dress bussled and when wine was spilt on me and when I lost my drink! Lol. I promise you will not go wrong if you book at Monroe Pearson. It was the most amazing experience and I’m so grateful to ALL of the staff who played a part in our special day. tly say that this team helped to alleviate the majority of my stress. People would always ask me, “oh how is wedding planning going?” and every time I could honestly say, “it’s really kinda easy! The venue staff is amazing and it’s full service so no hunting for vendors!” Amanda was my planning rep and deserves every award, raise, promotion, whatever her heart desires. I had a handful of things go wrong, outside photographer, change from church wedding to not, and every time I sent Amanda a panicked email she would response quickly, calm me down, and assure me that they could accommodate any change. She even set me up with the amazing photographer we used for our day! (Shoutout Emily Chappell). I seriously could not have planned such a perfect day without these people. Thank you for making us so special!!

as amazing! Jordan had one Zoom call with her before we met her at one of the Walter's Open Houses. Amanda recognized Jordan, remembered her fiancee's name and details about her wedding. Amanda was personable, supportive, fun and professional--she made the planning process simple and easy. We opted to use their vendors for DJ and Photography services. We were very happy with both. Our DJ, Kyle, was amazing. I would ask, "What time are we supposed to...?" He would answer, "The schedule says, XX--and we will do whatever you want." Perfect answer for me--as I wanted to adhere to the plan--and I knew that if there was a wrinkle, he would be flexible. He also had the perfect balance of making comments when introducing someone or something--and keeping the music flowing throughout the night. Kyle was amazing. Our photographers were Abigail and Andrea--cannot wait to see their work! They captured everything we asked for--and were unobtrusive and present--like photo ninjas!! Geoffrey, Leticia and their teams were the best of the best. The food was incredible--my family and friends are still thanking me for a great meal! The servers were there when you needed something and worked hard to ensure that everyone had what they wanted. There was nothing missed--every detail was perfect! The bartender had a very busy night--our family loves an open bar--and he took great care of us. After my first trip to get a glass of wine, he just poured one for me when I showed up! My nephew said he did the same for him! That is a talent! Obviously, the venue is stunning--so many of our guests commented on how beautiful Monroe Pearson is. The team that worked with us are the icing on the cake--all total professionals and happy people! Thank you, Geoffrey and team for a perfect wedding and reception!

Once we arrived for wedding week I was truly blown away. They were so accommodating and attentive. I was highly impressed, even when I changed my mind multiple times she was just so sweet and understanding. Our servers Juliet, Breezy, and Jaden, and bartenders Crystal and Cherity were such a delight! It was a magical night and the entire staff at Monroe Pearson helped to make it run so smoothly. I am so very grateful.

From set up to strike, Geoffrey and his team stayed engaged to ensure that all needs were met. I hope to work with Geoffrey again!!! Maybe next time I can get him on the dance floor with us (LOL).

your event. There is a large ceremony space, a good sized lounge & cocktail area, and an enormous reception space. There is no need to hold guests in a specific area while the room is being “flipped” from ceremony to reception. The guests appreciated being able to have their cocktail and find their reception seat at their leisure. Later, after the DJ and dancing began, those who wished could move back into the lounge and even the ceremony space for a quieter evening. Thanks to Chrystal G for her help and insight. It was a great night!

Crystal G was our wedding coordinator for the day of, and she did a WONDERFUL job. She really made things run smoothly and we couldn’t have done it without her! Seriously if you’re thinking about booking here it’s a MUST.

I planned my wedding from New York and she always responded in a timely fashion with helpful responses. The place itself is gorgeous and I got so many compliments on the venue and the food. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an industrial-chic kind of place!

oms suites are honestly breathtaking. Both the ceremony and reception space are a gorgeous blank canvas to add your own decor and make it your own. The acoustics aren’t the best in the ceremony space, so many of our guests had trouble hearing our vows, especially combined with the unfortunate timing of a passing train- but it is such a small issue!

the reception area, and you can't beat being able to have both at the same venue. There's a gorgeous bridal suite too. We adore the staff at all the Walters Wedding Estates Venues, and Monroe Pearson is no exception....they're helpful, knowledgeable and caring.

g here, but just know that I will not be recommending this venue to ANY of my friends. Although the staff we talked to were friendly and professional, and the venue is beautiful, my fiancé and I unfortunately had a very bad experience here in the end. :(

m. After calling 3 times and sending 3 emails, I once waited 7 days to get a response to a very simple question. This happened on multiple occasions. We also got feedback from our other venders (DJ and wedding planner) that they were rude and unhelpful. I’m not one to leave bad reviews, but I want brides to understand the experience they offer. After spending over 5 grand, we hoped for at least a little more service and curtesy. Overall gorgeous venue, but definitely the biggest headache and disappointing part of the wedding planning process. If I could do it over, I would choose a different venue. I would not recommend this venue to a future bride.

ed that it was down the street from the square which is where we went on one of our first dates. It's really in a central location to anywhere you could possibly want to go in Denton. The venue lends itself to not needing to add a whole bunch of "fluff" decoration. The venue and decor they have is already so picturesque and beautiful. If we had to do it all over again we would still pick Monroe Pearson, without a doubt.

so fun and simple. My favorite thing about our experience with this venue was the way everyone made us feel like family. On the day of our wedding, we didn't have to worry about anything and could just enjoy our special day!
