Such a beautiful venue and amazing staff! My wedding planner was Melissa and she was the best. She helped get everything I brought set up day of so I was less stressed! If you’re looking for an industrial style venue I would absolutely recommend this one!

My husband and I had the BEST experience at Monroe Pearson! Our amazing wedding planner, Melissa, was so attentive and wanted the day to be as perfect as we did. From our initial planning meetings to the send-off at the end of the night, she was so calm and organized. Our day would not have been as wonderful without her. Our DJ, Carson (CoHost Entertainment), was incredible. Our family and friends still talk about how great of a DJ he was for our special day. Our photographer, Christopher (Emily Chappell Photography), was such a gem. He took the time to get to know my husband and I throughout the day and we felt so comfortable taking our photos with him. We are so thankful for all of the vendors that were a part of our special day!

Monroe Pearson was absolutely perfect! Tabitha worked with us and we loved every minute we spent with her! She was thrown in last minute due to a scheduling issue and everyone made sure she did not miss a beat! We loved everyone we interacted with at this venue and would recommend it to anyone who asked! My husband and I fell in love with this venue at first sight! It is difficult to find a venue that is not rustic in Texas, so when we found a place that felt modern yet homey we knew that Monroe Pearson was the venue for us. However, what we loved even more than the venue was working with Kayleigh. She was a bright spot during such a stressful time of day to day wedding planning. Her attention to detail, patience, kindness, and making us feel like we were a priority. She was especially good at understanding our vision for the wedding, and carrying it out exactly as we planned it. We recently celebrated our wedding at Monroe Pearson, and it was an unforgettable experience! From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The food was delicious, and the staff was incredibly attentive to all our guests' needs. The security team was also very helpful, answering any questions our guests had with a smile. The bartenders were fantastic, providing excellent service and keeping our family and friends well taken care of throughout the night. However, the true star of the show was our wedding planner, Melissa. Melissa went above and beyond in every possible way. She took the time to understand our vision and brought it to life beautifully. Her dedication and attention to detail were unmatched. She made sure every aspect of our day was perfect, accommodating all our requests and ensuring everything ran smoothly. Melissa truly made the day as stress-free as possible, allowing us to fully enjoy our special moment. Our family and guests could not stop raving about Melissa. She received endless compliments and praise for her professionalism, warmth, and ability to make everyone feel comfortable. We believe she deserves all the recognition for making our wedding day at Monroe Pearson truly amazing. I don't hand out 5 star reviews often, but I am this time. Our son was married at Monroe Pearson this weekend. It was magical. Melissa was professional, organized, and thoughtful. She was very detailed oriented and made sure we knew the flow of the wedding celebration. Things were handled so well I was able to purely enjoy a magical evening. The venue was very functional and enjoyable for our guests. Thanks for making our special celebration so special.

Everything about this location has been exceptional so far. Sarah was fantastic as our primary contact, and now Melissa is amazing as well! Idk what is in the water at Monroe Pearson but these ladies on staff blow it out of the water every time!!

Daughter’s wedding- Monroe Pearson was our first venue to tour. It was also the only venue we toured. We fell in love with it! The venue was absolutely amazing, but what really made our wedding fantastic was our coordinator, Morgan Stover. She was on top of deadlines and making sure all of my vendors were doing their jobs. If she’s you’re coordinator, then you’re in great hands!

We have been planning our wedding at Monroe Pearson and Hallie has made everything SO easy on us. Having almost all of our vendors through them has made the wedding planning process go so much smoother than I thought possible. The venue is exactly what we were looking for and has so much character. We can't wait to get married there soon!

Such a lovely space with the vintage vibe I was hoping for. And the staff is so helpful and supportive. I was having a hard time imagining so many things, Madison Shields put my mind at ease every step of the way. She made wonderful suggestions and truly made our day memorable. And I REALLY appreciated not having to navigate so many vendors individually. I wanted a 1 stop shop for everything, Walter's Wedding Estates delivered. And if there was an issue with something, Madison was an amazing liaison to get it handled!! ❤️❤️

This venue is breathtaking! It was perfect for our day. Having two separate getting ready rooms made both of our parties comfortable. And being able to have our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in one place made it easy for our guests! Many family and friends even reached out to use the venue in the future. Even if it’s not for a wedding, Monroe Pearson is such a great venue for any event.

To anyone looking to book this venue please please read this review to fully understand what it is you will be booking. It’s going to be long but I promise you, you’ll want to know. Like everyone else I saw a couple bad reviews but most were great so I ignored them and that will be my biggest regret from me wedding. First off the venue is actually stunning which is why this is so disappointing to write. I also want to make it clear I am NO bridezilla all of our complaints are purely just the basic choices you make when working with a venue who only provides in house catering. When you reach out they will be very communicative and set up a meeting very quickly but once that contract is signed is when it will go downhill. Through out the entire planning process it will be very difficult for you to get consistent answers from anyone working this venue. At least for us, every-time we had a meeting at the venue we had a different person and each one said different information when we asked questions. When we would ask for clarification we would always be answered with “we will check on that and get back to you” which never happened. If you are told Crystal G will be your head coordinator, you will never see her even if you had a scheduled meeting with her specifically. We are convinced she doesn’t exist. And for us this was our details meeting which is the most important final meeting to go over all the things you chose. We had a confirmed meeting and showed up the the venue and she wasn’t there. No text no call nothing to let us know. Thankfully another woman named Christie was there to let us in and to run the meeting but it was difficult because she had no idea what was going on with our wedding. Once we got home we got an email from Crystal about some of the things we went over and never even acknowledged her being absent. Now let’s go over all the choices we made with the venue and how many things we received. We were told in every meeting we had that we could substitute the wine no problem at no extra charge we would just have to pick from a list the had. They never provided the wine list until the very last second after us asking about 5 times and then told it was a $2 charge per person for the substitutions. Luckily we complained that was never communicated and they didn’t charge but the 2 wines we chose were then not the wines served at the wedding. We had asked the venue at every single meeting how do we play the music for the ceremony. It’s a wedding venue so you’d think they could easily answer that. No. Not a single person could show us where you could hook up a phone, IF you could even hook up and phone or how. I was only told I need an aux adapter so I went out and bought 2 but that was wrong it was a very specific adapter. We didn’t get that answer officially until my REHEARSAL which we then had to get some friends to go out and buy said specific adapter. Thank god I had some tech friends there to figure all that out for the venue since they knew nothing. Next we had 166 people at our wedding which is large and people want to come and drink so we needed to make sure we would have enough bartenders. Also that both sides of the bar would be open to guests. We clarified in every meeting we have a group of people who enjoy drinks so this was extremely important that it wouldn’t be a problem. We were assured this wouldn’t be an issue and all sides of the bar would be open. On the actual wedding day we only had 2 bartenders for 166 people and only one side of the bar open the entire time so there was consistently a long line to get drinks. Not to mention the bartenders were SO RUDE to everyone. We were told by half of our guests they didn’t get any appetizers or even see them being passed around. So I imagine there was not enough staff to get to most of the guest and probably not enough appetizers. We paid for a late night snack to be passed around at 9 pm. They never passed them around they just set them on a back table and when I asked why Is there such a small amount they said they only provide about half with the assumption half the guests would leave by that point. We paid for our wedding guest count to all get a snack so if that’s not the case that should have been specified in the contract. The bar also tried to shut down early because they said we started service early. The grooms men asked for some beers and if that’s what they consider service starting early that’s so incredibly ridiculous. Don’t even get my started on how if I hadent hired my own wedding planner when Michael and I did our entrance we would have been locked out of the building because they have no one around to help you and no communication on those things being possible. So if you plan your entrance from the stairs make sure you have someone on the other end to let you in or you’ll be locked out. There are probably about 20 more things I could go on and on about but I think this does a good job of letting you know that if you want to be stressed, never fully communicated with, have a venue with a staff who has no idea what the hell is going on and so disappointed then book this venue.

Amanda at Monroe Pearson was amazing. Fantastic to work with and she went above and beyond in every step of the process. The wedding day went off without a hitch - fantastic venue, helpful staff, amazing food, great drinks and rocking DJ! It was the BEST!!

I can not say enough wonderful things about Walters Wedding Estates, especially Monroe Pearson. It was the most beautiful venue for our special day and most importantly the staff made sure everything was perfect for us and they truly went above and beyond. Thank you to Amanda for helping me plan my dream wedding (in THREE months!!!) and being the sweetest human being. She made sure she was a part of our special day until the very last moment and even signed up to serve that night….and I’m so thankful I got to experience all of that with her. Thank you to Tabitha for helping me make sure all of the final details were taken care of the day of the wedding and making sure I (the bride) didn’t have a panic attack. Lol. And last but not least, Latecia you were THE best!! Thank you for being so organized at our rehearsal so that our ceremony could run so smoothly. Thank you for taking care of me all night because without you I think I would have lost it.😂 you genuinely saved the day when we couldn’t get my dress bussled and when wine was spilt on me and when I lost my drink! Lol. I promise you will not go wrong if you book at Monroe Pearson. It was the most amazing experience and I’m so grateful to ALL of the staff who played a part in our special day. Amanda at Monroe Pearson was absolutely Fantastic!! She made sure that our daughter's wedding came off beautifully!! She helped me with all my million questions timely and graciously! The venue is beautiful and just what my daughter wanted! No problems with parking, plenty of restrooms, great food and bar service!! Loved our experience with them!!

We absolutely loved having our wedding at the Monroe Pearson. All my guests loved the industrial elegance it had to offer. It was the perfect size for my 250 guests. The staff was so accommodating and made me feel at ease every step of the way. Highly recommend!

The team at Walters Wedding Estates are seriously incredible and wonderful humans to work with. As a bride, there’s a lot of details to plan and factors to consider but I can honestly say that this team helped to alleviate the majority of my stress. People would always ask me, “oh how is wedding planning going?” and every time I could honestly say, “it’s really kinda easy! The venue staff is amazing and it’s full service so no hunting for vendors!” Amanda was my planning rep and deserves every award, raise, promotion, whatever her heart desires. I had a handful of things go wrong, outside photographer, change from church wedding to not, and every time I sent Amanda a panicked email she would response quickly, calm me down, and assure me that they could accommodate any change. She even set me up with the amazing photographer we used for our day! (Shoutout Emily Chappell). I seriously could not have planned such a perfect day without these people. Thank you for making us so special!!

I cannot say enough great things about this venue and the people who helped us with my daughter's wedding--and, I am going to try! To start, Amanda was our planning rep--and she was amazing! Jordan had one Zoom call with her before we met her at one of the Walter's Open Houses. Amanda recognized Jordan, remembered her fiancee's name and details about her wedding. Amanda was personable, supportive, fun and professional--she made the planning process simple and easy. We opted to use their vendors for DJ and Photography services. We were very happy with both. Our DJ, Kyle, was amazing. I would ask, "What time are we supposed to...?" He would answer, "The schedule says, XX--and we will do whatever you want." Perfect answer for me--as I wanted to adhere to the plan--and I knew that if there was a wrinkle, he would be flexible. He also had the perfect balance of making comments when introducing someone or something--and keeping the music flowing throughout the night. Kyle was amazing. Our photographers were Abigail and Andrea--cannot wait to see their work! They captured everything we asked for--and were unobtrusive and present--like photo ninjas!! Geoffrey, Leticia and their teams were the best of the best. The food was incredible--my family and friends are still thanking me for a great meal! The servers were there when you needed something and worked hard to ensure that everyone had what they wanted. There was nothing missed--every detail was perfect! The bartender had a very busy night--our family loves an open bar--and he took great care of us. After my first trip to get a glass of wine, he just poured one for me when I showed up! My nephew said he did the same for him! That is a talent! Obviously, the venue is stunning--so many of our guests commented on how beautiful Monroe Pearson is. The team that worked with us are the icing on the cake--all total professionals and happy people! Thank you, Geoffrey and team for a perfect wedding and reception!

I walked in and instantly knew this venue was perfect for us. The historic building and the beautiful classic touches sold me! The planning process was truly painless, all the in house vendors were so prompt and communicated so well. Our planning rep, Amanda was kind and responsive to our last minute changes. I felt so taken care of. Once we arrived for wedding week I was truly blown away. They were so accommodating and attentive. Geoffrey made sure the plans were communicated to the team and Laeticia executed those plans perfectly. I was highly impressed, even when I changed my mind multiple times she was just so sweet and understanding. Our servers Juliet, Breezy, and Jaden, and bartenders Crystal and Cherity were such a delight! It was a magical night and the entire staff at Monroe Pearson helped to make it run so smoothly. I am so very grateful.

The Monroe Pearson was the perfect venue for my client's intimate wedding. Not only was this venue perfect, but I had a wonderful experience working with the General Manager, Geoffrey H. He was extremely helpful in ensuring every detail was executed to ensure my couples special day was even more special. From set up to strike, Geoffrey and his team stayed engaged to ensure that all needs were met. I hope to work with Geoffrey again!!! Maybe next time I can get him on the dance floor with us (LOL).

As others have said, this is a lovely industrial chic venue. It was just what my daughter wanted! One thing that sets it apart, is that you actually have the use of THREE rooms for your event. There is a large ceremony space, a good sized lounge & cocktail area, and an enormous reception space. There is no need to hold guests in a specific area while the room is being “flipped” from ceremony to reception. The guests appreciated being able to have their cocktail and find their reception seat at their leisure. Later, after the DJ and dancing began, those who wished could move back into the lounge and even the ceremony space for a quieter evening. Thanks to Chrystal G for her help and insight. It was a great night!

From the staff to the venue itself, I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the Monroe Pearson! It’s a gorgeous venue and honestly pictures don’t do it justice. It was everything I wanted in a venue. As for the staff they did an amazing job! They were incredible from the start whether it was answering questions I needed or even checking in months before the wedding! Crystal G was our wedding coordinator for the day of, and she did a WONDERFUL job. She really made things run smoothly and we couldn’t have done it without her! Seriously if you’re thinking about booking here it’s a MUST.

Beautiful venue, great food, and awesome staff!!! From the first meeting to the day-of, everyone made sure our day was amazing and that it was! Allie was my day-of coordinator and helped make everything run smoothly. She went above & beyond to accommodate any requests or answer questions I had! CJ helped me get everything ready via email prior to the event. I planned my wedding from New York and she always responded in a timely fashion with helpful responses. The place itself is gorgeous and I got so many compliments on the venue and the food. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an industrial-chic kind of place!

This venue was made for us, I swear. It’s beautiful and unique. We used their catering and bar options and it was a huge weight off our shoulders, not to mention the bridal and grooms suites are honestly breathtaking. Both the ceremony and reception space are a gorgeous blank canvas to add your own decor and make it your own. The acoustics aren’t the best in the ceremony space, so many of our guests had trouble hearing our vows, especially combined with the unfortunate timing of a passing train- but it is such a small issue!

As a wedding vendor, we love this venue and our brides do too! It has an eclectic, yet classic style that fits a wide variety of wedding styles. The ceremony room is lovely, as is the reception area, and you can't beat being able to have both at the same venue. There's a gorgeous bridal suite too. We adore the staff at all the Walters Wedding Estates Venues, and Monroe Pearson is no exception....they're helpful, knowledgeable and caring.

Several events occurred which left me feeling that they were far more concerned with their bottom line (think pushy salesmen) than their customers. I don’t wish to rehash everything here, but just know that I will not be recommending this venue to ANY of my friends. Although the staff we talked to were friendly and professional, and the venue is beautiful, my fiancé and I unfortunately had a very bad experience here in the end. :(

The venue is absolutely beautiful. Very industrial and modern. But the communication and service was extremely disappointing. It was unbelievably difficult to ever get ahold of them. After calling 3 times and sending 3 emails, I once waited 7 days to get a response to a very simple question. This happened on multiple occasions. We also got feedback from our other venders (DJ and wedding planner) that they were rude and unhelpful. I’m not one to leave bad reviews, but I want brides to understand the experience they offer. After spending over 5 grand, we hoped for at least a little more service and curtesy. Overall gorgeous venue, but definitely the biggest headache and disappointing part of the wedding planning process. If I could do it over, I would choose a different venue. I would not recommend this venue to a future bride.

Monroe Pearson is simply beautiful. When we toured it for the first time, I teared up because I just knew that this was where I was going to get married. I had no idea how far out of their way they would go to make sure that every step of the wedding process would be perfect. Amanda and Sorida were my day-of coordinators and I will never be able to sing their praises enough. (Amanda tracked down my husband's tennis shoes and brought them to him so he could dance... trust me she deserves a raise for that act alone!) I love this venue and the people that put their hearts and souls into what they do. Thank you for a beautiful wedding!!!

Monroe Pearson was such a beautiful venue for my wedding! The industrial/glam/chic vibe was exactly what I was looking for in a venue. The planning process was smooth and organized. The staff is knowledgeable and caring. Their catering was also fabulous! I wish I could get married again because I would do it at Monroe Pearson in a heartbeat. ;)

Monroe Pearson was the most idyllic location for our wedding. The staff was so incredibly helpful and kind. If you are looking for a venue that has it all - look no further. We loved that it was down the street from the square which is where we went on one of our first dates. It's really in a central location to anywhere you could possibly want to go in Denton. The venue lends itself to not needing to add a whole bunch of "fluff" decoration. The venue and decor they have is already so picturesque and beautiful. If we had to do it all over again we would still pick Monroe Pearson, without a doubt.

Amazing venue and the best staff ever! Tessa was an absolute joy to work with. She answered all of my questions (and I had a LOT of questions) and made me feel comfortable with all of the details and planning leading up to the big day. Monroe Pearson was the very first venue we looked at and although it was still being built, Kalyn really sold us on the uniqueness of the space and what the finished product would look like. We went on to visit several other venues but could not get Monroe Pearson out of our heads. Choosing MP as our ceremony and reception space was the best decision that we could have made. The space itself is so unique and the little details are what really tie the venue together. Jesse was wonderful to work with as was the entire Monroe Pearson team. They made the planning process seamless and communication was always prompt and thorough. One of the best parts, and certainly most convenient things was that everything was provided in house (linens, chargers, chairs, glassware) so that we didn’t have to work with yet another vendor to coordinate. We decided to use Milestone as our caterer because we knew the food was good and it was an added convenience. Our guests were so complimentary of the food and we still have guests that will bring it up (shout out the the Mac and cheese station and the chicken parm sliders). I only had two issues with the day and the first was that we didn’t get an of our hor d’oeuvres during cocktail hour and there were not enough seats at the head table for my bridal party once we all sat down for dinner. Both of which I’m sure would be accommodated by the Monroe Pearson team with communication beforehand and to be honest I forgot to ask about the hor d’oeurves ahead of time. Other than that, my day was so perfect, Jesse made sure of that! Thank you so much, Monroe Pearson! I could not have dreamt of a more perfect venue for my wedding! All of my love to you!

I loved working with the people at Monroe Pearson! They were with us every step of the way, and we got to be with them! We saw the venue before it was built, but the dream they said once it was completed sold us. Seeing it’s completion was really a special moment for us. Our wedding day was perfect, we would not wish anything else!

It was the very first venue we toured and all the others after just couldn’t compare! The staff are so helpful and amazing. The venue is beautiful and it was absolutely perfect for the vision I had for my wedding day. Not too expensive but fancy looking enough to make you feel like a princess!
