A few things that I found rare in the Monterey area and super awesome about this space: -They have an adorable bridal room with private bathroom for the bride (look at the photos on their website, so cute! White furniture, beautiful mirror, etc.) -The venue came with 75 gold chiavari chairs (this is crazy as usually those totally cost to rent) -They have a gobo they can project on the wall with a little bride and groom that say congratulations -The rental comes with a dance lesson which was super fun and amazing- I mean obviously they are a dance studio so of course the lesson was first class. Hehe. -Here's the most unbelievable one I found: THEY DON'T CHARGE CORKAGE!!!! You can bring in your own alcohol and bring in your own caterer, no worries!!!! Other than the beautiful decor, I think for sure that was the thing that sold me on the venue!! -Beyond the reasons above, I thought they were certainly the most reasonably priced space I found from my research (things get crazy expensive getting married in the Monterey area, I learned very quickly) Day of, we were blown away. Everything looked perfect and several of the guests raved about the elegance of the space. Thank you for making our wedding day perfect. I'm so grateful and glad we chose this space!!

ere many rigid restrictions on what we could do. We were able to have her let us go in the hall an hour early; however, on the day of the wedding that didnt' make a difference. My invitations let our guests know to arrive at 330; however, apparently that extra hour we got was only to set up NOT to go in which was not what we had talked about. This was not what we had talked about and even tho we talked to her bout letting us go in half an hour early because that's what the guests were under the impression of, they still did not change their mind. We had to announce after our ceremony to our guests, that they wouldnt be able to go in until 4pm. Once there, they allowed for us to have the doors open a few minutes earlier which didn't make a difference since our guests were now under the impression of going in at 4 pm. During the wedding, they were supposed to dim the lights for the first dance; however, every time they tried to dim them, they would turn off completely; therefore, for our first dance, the father daughter dance, the mother son dance and the bridal party dance, we were not able to dim the lights and make it as special as we had liked. The air conditioning does not work very well and it was incredibly hot during the whole party especially when the dance started. We had all doors open, but it didn't aleviate the stuffiness to much. Now I am a very mellow person and to be honest during the wedding overlooked all of these things; however, it was very upsetting that at the end after we cleaned everything and left everything in good condition, we had over half of our deposit taken away because the table linens and the chair cushions were "dirty". Linens and chair were included in the rental and it should be expected for them to get dirty; however, since they were not ruined and are still reusable, I don't understand why they were taken out of the deposit. I had to rent out a few extra chairs and linens from Chic events and was not charged anything for "dirty" linens or chair cushions. After letting her know the things that went wrong at the wedding all I got was a $40. It's a nice place and it gave for lovely pictures; however, the process itself is very frustrating and I wouldn't recommend.
