Thinking about a wedding planner or day of coordinator? Look no further. Kelsey is your gal! I did extensive research on all my vendors. I wanted my wedding to be perfect, (It was!!) but doesn’t every Bride? I had phone calls and exchanged emails with many wedding planners before choosing Moonrise Weddings. I wanted to design and plan my wedding but I did not want any friends or family members to have to run the show or lift a finger on my wedding day. In the beginning, my fiancé didn’t think we needed a day-of-coordinator, but once we started to book the tasting, and talk about the day-of timeline, he couldn’t be more appreciative of having her on our team. Following his realization of needing Kelsey, he would ask me “Well, what does Kelsey think?” and “Let’s run this by Kelsey”. She was more than a “day-of-coordinator”, she went above and beyond for us. We invited her to the tasting but just as a friend to tell us if something was tasty or not. She took pictures and notes so we could refer back. She asked the catering manager important questions that we didn’t even think to ask! Fast forward to the day of the wedding at The Four Seasons Hotel. It was perfect! She kept us on schedule and made sure everything went smoothly. She is professional, super friendly, quick to respond, punctual, knowledgeable and I could go on.....bottom line-we are incredibly thankful we had her on our team for the most special day ever!

I found Moonrise Weddings through a friend of a friend only 2 months before our wedding. It was last minute because we had to cancel our main big wedding in upstate NY due to COVID and decided to keep our og date and have a backyard wedding in Austin TX of about 50 people. I truly CANNOT explain how big of a lifesaver Kelsey was to us. You would think that 50 people in a backyard wedding would be manageable but honestly, we couldn't have pulled it off without her in the lead. We were dealing with a DIY wedding, weather variables, and a remote private location in the hill country with limited cell service. She handled all the weekend of hurdles with patience, kindness and a can-do attitude. Also not to mention, performed up to par under pressure. I would highly recommend Kelsey and her team for any event in the future and will refer her to any friends getting married in the ATX area in the future!

I don’t normally write reviews but I have to say I loveeeeed Kelsey! Me and my now husband were unsure if we wanted a day of coordinator because of how small our wedding was going to be but we’re so happy we got one and specifically ended up choosing Kelsey! She is very organized, punctual, and all around great! Talking to her truly feels like talking to a friend. She’s your ultimate hype woman. She always made herself available to me through texting, emails or phone calls to answer any question I had. Hire Kelsey, I promise it’s the best decision!

I found Moonrise Weddings on The Knot and we felt really lucky we did. Our wedding was a few weeks ago and Kelsey worked with us to get all our details together in one place. We didn't think we wanted a planner, but I ended up feeling so overwhelmed a month and a half out we decided to go for it. She was very responsive and helpful leading up to our wedding and on the day of she handled everything, and I mean EVERYTHING. She even had a cake cutting set in her trunk when we realized the caterer didn't have one. She was also calming to be around, which was important to me. Thank you Kelsey!!
