We had a fantastic time celebrating our wedding! Ceremony and reception are all in one place! Danielle and Gabi were great and well-organized! I was not anxious at all as Gabi had everything in order. They’re easy to work with and they make your dream wedding a reality! Kudos to Danielle and Gabi!!!

Morgan Creek was the ideal venue for our wedding. With its breathtaking ceremony and reception area, we needed only minimal decorations to enhance it's natural beauty. Danielle, our wedding coordinator, was absolutely amazing-kind, efficient and willing to go the extra mile to ensure our day was flawless!

Morgan Creek Barn and all Walter Wedding vendors were amazing and extremely easy to communicate with. Morgan Creek Barn itself is beautiful, but having a one stop shop for bundled vendors is even better. Our Day of Coordinator, Gabi was so helpful to not only myself and my husband, but our families and guests as well! Cannot say enough good things about this venue or the Walter Wedding Estates. We absolutely loved the venue and had guests rave about how beautiful it was! Regardless of the rain on our day, the team helped make it perfect. The one thing I wish was better was the communication from the planning team, especially on the day of. There was some miscommunication on the day of that added some stress and worry. But the day ended perfect, and we were thankful to have booked with Walters Wedding Estates!

I got married on October 31, 2024 at Morgan Creek Barn and had an absolutely amazing experience! We booked in October of 2023 and the entire time the staff was friendly and responsive. We toured the venue multiple times and each time we fell more in love. We worked with many staff like Danielle and Cari and both were wonderful in planning and day of coordination. One of the reasons we loved Morgan Creek Barn with Walter’s Wedding Estates is because we could make it an all inclusive experience. We booked packages which included catering, bar service, DJ, Photography, and stationary. All vendors they work with for that provide excellent service and it all seemed streamlined. You have options to increase levels of catering and bar service. They now even have partners for bakery, florist, and a jeweler. You can also add on more entertainment services if you wish as well. Not having the stress of finding all of the vendors on our own was honestly amazing. Our food was excellent the day of the wedding. Our friends and family are still complementing the food, drinks, and service. The venue is also stunning! It’s a perfect mixture of glam and rustic with the updated barn feel with high ceilings and windows in the ceremony space and reception space. I 100% recommend Morgan Creek Barn to anyone that is looking for a venue in this area.

Morgan Creek Barn was a wonderful wedding venue. It is very beautiful inside and out so you can get away with minimal decorations. Our coordinators Abby and Danielle were very responsive and helpful during the planning process. Our day of coordinator Gabi was wonderful and really carried to the bride and grooms needs. Our overall experience was wonderful and they provided us a great wedding day. Some things we would recommend are to do a private food tasting if you use their catering service. We went to the tasting event and they served a meat from each of their pricing tiers. Two of the meats were chicken so it was hard to distinguish the difference between the different levels of entrees you were getting. It was also a little difficult to only communicate through the client portal. If we had a quick easy question it would have been helpful to have a phone number to call to get a quick answer.

Our experience at Morgan Creek Wedding Venue was truly outstanding in many ways. The venue beautifully balances rustic charm with elegant design, offering a picturesque setting perfect for any wedding. From the beginning, the team at Morgan Creek displayed professionalism and a genuine commitment to making our special day unforgettable. The black rustic barn provided a breathtaking backdrop, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that captivated our guests. The spacious indoor reception area comfortably accommodated everyone, and the outdoor cocktail area, featuring an open bar with charming string lights, offered a seamless transition between the ceremony and reception. What truly set the experience apart was the impeccable service. Gabi, in particular, deserves special recognition for her dedication and tireless work. She ensured every detail went off without a hitch, making sure our day unfolded smoothly and beautifully. Danielle, who was instrumental in the planning process, was also fantastic—handling a minor issue with grace and ensuring the rest of the event ran flawlessly. These two were simply amazing. However, there are a few areas that potential clients should be aware of, especially concerning the bar service. First, we purchased the higher-end bar package but requested a substitution for Jameson whiskey. While the venue accommodated the change, we were charged at what was described as the venue’s "wholesale" cost, which turned out to be $76 per bottle, excluding taxes and fees. After all the additional costs, the price per bottle came to $100.43, far exceeding what we would expect based on typical retail prices. Secondly—and most concerning—was the behavior of the bartender. We noticed that drinks were being deliberately short-poured unless guests tipped after each drink request. If someone asked for a bit more liquor, the bartender would tap the tip jar as a cue. Only when tipped would she add more to the drink. This practice was both unprofessional and inappropriate, particularly given that we had already paid for a premium liquor package of $3,400. It’s important to note that we paid for four bottles of Jameson, yet only two were used by the end of the night—likely because of these short pours. To add to the frustration, we were not allowed to take the leftover bottles with us. Furthermore, although we paid for two bartenders, only one was actively serving drinks, while the other spent most of the night washing glasses. This was not what we expected when paying for full bar service, and it felt like we didn’t get what we paid for. While we absolutely loved Morgan Creek as a venue and appreciated much of what they offered, these issues with the bar service were a disappointment. Future couples should consider this when planning and perhaps rethink allowing a tip jar at the bar, as it seemed to influence the quality of service unfairly. Despite these concerns, the venue’s overall charm and the exceptional efforts of Gabi and Danielle made our wedding day truly memorable. Morgan Creek is a beautiful venue, and with some adjustments to their bar service, it would be perfect.

Morgan Creek Barn had everything we were looking for - separated ceremony hall and reception space, bride and grooms suites, round about for exit vehicle to be on display, and spacious cocktail hour area for pictures and comfortably fit 100 guests. Overall it was a great experience. There were a couple misunderstandings when it came to pricing but at the end of the day they were amazing And made sure our wedding day dreams came true. The wedding day went smooth and was a ton of fun.

There are just so many things I want to say about this venue, and the Walters Wedding Estates team but I will try to keep this short. We absolutely fell in love with this venue. And to see all the packages and things they had to offer to make our wedding a seamless event, it really was a no brainer! But most of all...Danielle was the best part of our planning team. We were a bit worried to start as we spoke with so many different people, but once Danielle was a part of our process, things not only got easier but I felt much more at ease! And the day of...boy did she help keep me sane! I am so impressed with everything and so so so thankful to Danielle and the rest of our planning team who made our day absolutely perfect!

My husband and I got married here on July 20. Everything was perfect. The venue is beautiful and the vendors are amazing. My planner, Abby was tons of help and always answered my questions. My day of, Gracie was also amazing. Anytime I needed anything she was fast to get it.

I fell in love with Morgan Creek Barn during my first visit with them. It’s light and open, but indoors so it’s perfect for weddings of any season. They’re all inclusive and handle a majority of the planning for you. They were also super great about embracing my video game themed wedding. I worked with Abby mainly but several other vendors as well (I’m sorry my memory is awful but yall are amazing!!) Our photographer was absolutely great at her job. Very good at hyping us up for photos and bringing our ideas to life. The DJ loved our design concepts and nerdy touches. Overall we felt very happy with our experience.

We had an amazing experience with the team at Morgan Creek Barn - every step of the way. Our wedding planner Abby was so detail-oriented and communicative, she guided us through the entire planning process which can be overwhelming to say the least. She was so kind and absolutely rolled with the punches when there were last minute changes. When my bridal party partially disintegrated and could no longer make it due to an uncontrollable weather event, Abby offered us a complimentary upgrade of uplighting, and DJ Alexy at Cohost Entertainment offered an upgrade of a photo booth to help make our wedding day better. They helped make the best of an unfortunate situation and it really meant so much to us. They are so kind-hearted and we are incredibly grateful! Our wedding day was beautiful and was completely beyond our expectations. Cari our day-of-coordinator was phenomenal, she was so helpful, and the event wouldn’t have ran as smoothly without her, or ran at all without her! My bustle even broke at some point after dancing, and she quickly helped me re-bustle with safety pins. As I'm sure many weddings do, we ran late on our timeline but Cari kept us on track and came up with solutions such as having us go back out to take photos after our grand entrance, welcome speech and first dance, so we could keep the wedding going and not have guests wait too long on dinner while allowing my husband and I to still get all of our photos. She was so attentive and kind and I'm so happy she was our wedding coordinator! The music and MC services were also stellar! DJ Alexy was fantastic! I am so so glad she was our DJ! From the planning stage to the wedding day she provided amazing service— as an MC and as a DJ. If I could get married again I would specifically request her. I truly couldn’t be happier with the entire team at MCB and wish I could get married over and over again - it goes by in a flash! Future brides, savor every single moment! I would recommend Walter Wedding Estates to every bride - I hope my future children can get married at one of their venues one day :)

I recently captured a wedding at this venue and Gabi was the day of coordinator. I cannot speak highly enough of this girl, she was there for everything keeping us informed and always had solutions to problems that arose. She was sweet and funny and I absolutely loved working with her. I’m hoping to get to work many more events alongside her!

Our wedding at Morgan Creek Barn Dripping Springs was undeniably beautiful. The venue itself exudes elegance and charm, requiring minimal decor to create a stunning ambiance. The included services, including the open bar, lighting, cold sparks, and DJ, added to the magic of the day. While the day-of coordinator was helpful in many aspects, there were some notable hiccups that affected our experience. Unfortunately, there were timing issues and a mishap with the recording during our toasts and speeches. This might have also been compounded by coordination challenges with the catering service, which was handled separately from the venue. During the wedding planning process, we managed to get everything done, but communication with the team and wedding planner was not as seamless as we would have preferred. It was sometimes challenging to reach them when needed, leading to a bit of frustration. Additionally, although the DJ provided a lively atmosphere, they didn't play all of the songs we had requested. Despite these issues, both the ceremony and reception were memorable and enjoyable. On the downside, we encountered some issues with the bar staff, who were occasionally rude. However, the drinks served were of high quality, which was a saving grace. One significant issue was that the day-of coordinator disappeared for a large part of the ceremony, causing some stress and confusion. Overall, Morgan Creek Barn Dripping Springs operates like a well-oiled machine, with a few areas that could benefit from improvement, especially considering the prices. With some refinements in coordination, communication, and staff training, it has the potential to be a top-tier wedding destination. There were some areas that could have been improved to enhance our overall experience. Better coordination, communication, and responsiveness from the venue's team, as well as improved professionalism from the bar staff, would have made a significant difference. Despite these challenges, the beauty of the venue itself made our wedding day truly special.

She was incredibly organized, kind, and took away all the stress of the day. Loved this venue ! It was beautiful, food was good and the even coordinators were exceptional… my day of coordinator Gabi was amazing she went above and beyond for us ! She brought us food and drinks constantly, checked on me throughout the whole day and saved us a piece of cake from each tier and packed it up for us.

Morgan Creek Barn was a fantastic place to host my wedding. From the day I booked my wedding, they had a constant line of communication and communicated all expectations. Abby Scarce, the planning representative who assisted me up until the last month, was incredibly helpful leading up to the wedding as she answered millions of my questions and walked me through every possible detail of my day. Cari Weise who took over as my day-of coordinator was amazing - she went above and beyond when it came to helping me set up. As I DIY'd a lot of my details, she offered to take over and help set them up while my bridal party and I got ready. She navigated my wedding day perfectly even though it was incredibly windy - such as consulting with me about outdoor decor alternatives and even chasing down my veil when the wind caught it and reattaching it to me right before I walked down the aisle. Cari goes above and beyond to ensure that your day goes the way YOU want it, The organization of Walter Wedding Estates was phenomenal as they have an online portal making it convenient to talk with the coordinators, ask questions, make payments, view your contracts, see details, etc. The structure of the meetings provides a great timeline as to when you should be thinking about certain details of the wedding and helped me address all possible questions I may have forgotten about. One of the reasons I gravitated to this venue was because of all of the services they provided. In my package, they provided the venue, linens, centerpieces, bar, ceremony space and reception space, food, photographer, stationary services, and DJ. Since many of these vendors have worked with Walters Wedding Estates before and specifically at the venue, I didn't have to do much since they had experience with the venue/service - this was a GAME CHANGER. My photographer knew where to take the best photos, my DJ had no issues setting up, and it the day-of-coordinator (Cari) knew how to handle the event effortlessly. All of the vendors Morgan Creek worked with were incredibly professional. The only tip I would provide is mentioning the number of bartenders. I was told that there was 1 bartender for every 100 guests. I had 1 bartender for 100 guests and I felt like he was very overwhelmed as the bar got backed up - if I was to do this again I would've hired another bartender so I feel like this is a point that should be emphasized. Overall, the professionalism, communication, and value from this venue are 5/5 stars and 100% worth it.

Everything about this team with Walters Wedding Estates are truly lifesavers. Communication was quick and thorough, loved how almost everything was in house (linens, DJ, coordinator, tableware, catering, bar etc.), day of wedding was so perfect thanks to Caroline!

My wife and I fell in love with this venue when we first saw it. From then on once we had our date, the staff helped us manage the chaos of wedding planning so that when the day came we were able to enjoy our moment without having any problems or issues. I highly recommend this venue to any couple wanting to have a memorable night with their friends and family.

Our Dream Wedding: We just got married here, and I can’t recommend it enough. Great location, beautiful indoor and outdoor areas, and stunning architecture. Plenty of parking and a beautiful view. The venue team, Abby, Gracie, and Caleb truly went above and beyond to make our wedding special. They were all amazing and helpful throughout the entire process. They also work with fantastic vendors. The food was absolutely delicious. There was nothing we would've changed. They really paid attention to all of our requests and made the wedding of our dreams come true. I have had several family members also rave about how stunning the venue was and how they had such an amazing time.
