Morgan's on Fulton

The easiest decision we made during wedding planning was booking Morgan’s on Fulton. We loved how beautiful the space is and loved that the enclosure on the rooftop allowed us to enjoy the skyline regardless of what the weather would be. When we did our venue tour, we knew Morgan’s was our venue based on the aesthetic but also were sold on Kasey. Kasey is the kind of person you want in your corner on your wedding day to make sure everything goes smoothly. She is experienced and incredibly knowledgeable, flexible and easy going, and detail oriented. Kasey answered all of our questions quickly, no matter the volume and how silly they were. Prior to deciding our menu, there was a change in the beer options. Our families are big Miller Lite drinkers and that was no longer an option. When we asked Kasey about it, she quickly made the adjustment for us. When the ceremony ends and cocktail hour begins, the servers are walking around with drinks as well as apps but there were not lines immediately after the ceremony. My husband and I have been to countless weddings at this point and one of our concerns about doing late night bites was that it is usually put in the corner away from the dance floor and guests aren’t aware of it. At Morgan’s, the servers will walk around with the late night bites to get the smell in the air and so that guests know there is late night bites. I’m glad they did this because all our bites were eaten and nothing went to waste. After the ceremony, Kasey and her team set up a private table for us to have our drink of choice and all the apps. I mentioned to Kasey that a few bridesmaids will be pregnant and she made sure that there was non-alcoholic margarita mix available at each bar. Kasey and her team has seriously thought of everything to make sure that your wedding or event goes perfectly. The biggest feedback we received from guests was how good the food and drink was. Our wedding was weeks ago and I still have guests telling me how good the meat, apps, and desserts were. The truffle mashed potatoes are honestly to die for. I will also be dreaming about the arancini app for a very long time. We did the spicy margarita as the signature drink and received so many compliments on it. My grandmother who doesn’t drink much enjoyed them so much that she had 2! My husband and I had the best wedding and cannot thank Kasey and the Morgan’s on Fulton team enough!

We picked Morgan's based on the 5-star reviews it got. Seriously. We did! ... From the excellent reviews about the staff, to the response time and FOOD. Then, when we took an initial tour of the venue, we fell in love immediately. And now ... here's OUR 5-star review ... Our guests responses: "The steak is the best I've ever had" "Your venue was perfect" "The vibe was amazing" "That rooftop looked like a movie set" And we felt ALL of that for being true! Lots go into a wedding ... but the venue could be the single most important piece to the day. We worked with Jena ... who was so knowledgeable and responsive. Seriously, over a period of a year of communication and planning, we never had to wait more than a couple hours to get a response to a question ... and it's not like Jena nor Morgan's didn't have anything going on ... they have something every weekend (and it feels like every other day.) She was busy, but never made us feel like she was too busy to answer any question .. big or small! At Morgan's, we LOVED the retractable roof and the views and the "vibe" of the rooftop ... so we wanted all of our "main" events of our day located there ... meaning....the ceremony and the reception/dinner, etc. Jena didn't blink with those requests. Told us we would just need about 60 min to flip the space appropriately, so the venue would escort our guests down one level to the loft room. Equally as cool of a space, and for us, worked perfectly for a 60-90 minute cocktail reception while the crew worked to flip the rooftop from a ceremony space to a dinner/reception space. The loft room was big enough for our 120 guests to mingle and socialize, have appetizers (which were amazing) and drinks as well as entertain themselves with a 360 Photo Booth. Perfect size! Morgan's then was able to escort our guests up to the rooftop seamlessly ... honestly, we got ZERO complaints about the movement piece of our night. So expect all of that with Morgan's .... versatility with the venue, and the different rooms you can choose from .... the friendliness and effectiveness of the staff ... and the incredible menu. Honestly, the menu lived up to its billing. A perfect amount of appetizer choices, entree, dessert and even "late night" bites choices. I mentioned about the rave reviews on the steak ... how can a chef cook 60 steaks perfectly? This chef did! ... Also, we have a gluten-free and vegan family, and we felt very satisfied with the choices on the menu that accommodated EVERYONE's dietary restrictions. One note that could help the next client.... Morgan's does have some furniture and room decoration choices for your event, which would not be an extra cost; however, we felt like those choices were very limited. We wanted table linens for our dinner and cocktail reception, as well as copper mugs for our signature "Moscow Max" drink, (named after our pup pup) ... and all of those things we had to pay extra for. Morgan's did make it easy for us, in ordering the linens, transporting them, taking them down, and they allowed us to provide our own copper mugs. Super helpful with that service. However, if you have a budget, make sure you ask some of those questions beforehand. Take a look at their rental choices on their website and ask about costs for linens, extra chairs, even specific glasses or mugs. We lucked out ... the weather was perfect on a Sept night for our wedding. The rooftop was perfect. The food was perfect. The service (led by Jena) was top notch. It led to the best night of our lives. Thank you, Morgan's!

Morgan's on Fulton was the absolute best venue for our ceremony and reception! We got to work with both Jena and Kasey, who helped us with venue tours and the food tasting, as well as working with our coordinator for the logistics of our wedding day. First of all, the venue is incredible! The vibe was great, the location is amazing with the Chicago skyline from the rooftop, and the retractable glass roof was a real hit with our guests. Second, the food and drinks were amazing! All of our guests couldn't believe that the food was so good, the drinks were flowing with excellent bartending and wait staff, and overall, we and our guests had the best time. Numerous people told us "this is the best wedding I've ever been to," citing the venue location, food and drink quality, and overall atmosphere as the reason why they had such an awesome time. We would recommend Morgan's on Fulton to anyone! If you're looking to get married in the city, where the venue can hold the ceremony and reception, and also provides the food and drinks, this is the place for you!

One of the easiest decisions my husband and I made in wedding planning was choosing Morgan's on Fulton as our venue! We knew immediately it was the perfect place - we utilized 3 different levels for our ceremony, reception, and afterparty - each with a different vibe that made the day exciting and memorable! Working with Jena was incredible - the quickest responses, phone calls, answers to any questions (even the silly ones), and she always went above and beyond to help us make things work with the space, or connect with our vendors to prepare for the big day. I highly recommend MOF not only because of it's gorgeous views, amazing food, and versatility of space, but also because of how wonderful it was to work with the team!

Long overdue review but much deserved! My husband and I chose Morgan's for our wedding reception venue and we could not have been more happy with our decision. Working with Jena was an absolute dream! From the very beginning she answered all of our questions and was available and responsive for all the questions and random thoughts that came afterwards. No question or ask was ever too small or silly and Jena helped us navigate all of the details flawlessly. We ended up having a smaller wedding than originally planned and Jena worked with us to hit our minimum and make sure all our special touches were included (including Chick Fil A late night!) Jena thank you from the bottom of our hearts for everything you did for us this past year. We will truly never forget the day and that is in big part to you! Not to mention the venue is absolutely stunning and so unique for Chicago so if you are looking for an awesome planner and an outdoor romantic venue, look no further! xox

We had our wedding in June 2022 at Morgan's and had the most amazing experience. Kasey was incredible to work with - she was so thoughtful and brought the best energy to planning sessions and our tasting. She had so many great recommendations to make the day even better and run more smoothly. Kasey remembered so many details about us (even my dad's taste in bourbon) and we felt so comfortable working with her on the day of. The venue itself is stunning and everyone loved the indoor / outdoor rooftop vibe. We also got so many compliments on the food - it was truly so tasty. This venue and the team at Morgan's made our day absolutely perfect and we are so grateful!

Where to begin. We had our November 5 wedding at Morgan’s on Fulton and I truly don’t think it would be the same anywhere else. We received endless compliments from guests on the space itself, the food, the smoothness of everything. Which brings me to my last point: this venue and our experience would simply not have been the same without our point of contact, Kasey. Aside from being talented beyond belief at what she does, she is a kind person who will invest in you as a couple and make your experience seamless and stress free. If MOF ever loses Kasey, I’m sorry to say it won’t be the same anymore! If you’re considering this venue, please do yourself a favor and just book it. You won’t have a single regret.

This was a dream location! Truly it hit every checkpoint on my and my husband’s list for wedding venues. The space is stunning, the view is incredible, it was the option to be outdoors on the rooftop, the food is perfection, and everyone I worked with is so nice! Working with the Morgan’s team was incredibly helpful, answering every question I had thoroughly, accommodating our requests to customize our day, and guiding us through the process to prepare for the big day. The tasting process was also so much fun! Their food was delicious and it was hard to narrow it down, as everything tasted so good. The team was also very helpful with helping us select the best wine pairings for the food we selected. On our wedding day, it felt like everything went off without a hitch! The set up was great, the team at Morgan’s were so helpful, and the venue is stunning. Our guests loved the option to be outside on the beautiful day, agreed the food was wonderful, and loved the West Loop view. It was also appreciated that there were so many options for guests to stay inside to enjoy the music and dancing on the roof or step out to the edge of the outside area for more quiet moments. I couldn’t recommend this location more. Truly, an incredible experience!

Morgans on Fulton provided an incredible experience from our first contact all the way through the very end of our wedding day. We worked with Kasey, who is an absolute JOY. She answered every question we had, gave us honest and helpful opinions on how to make our ideas work, and was always one step ahead on making sure we had everything we could possibly need (whether we thought of it or not!). She also made our tasting the most fun day of wedding planning, and helped us narrow down Morgan’s AMAZING food options. I was nervous our 80 person guest count would feel small in the space, but they set it up in a way that the room always felt full and so perfect! Plus, the retractable roof was perfect when it rained for 5 minutes in the middle of our reception, it closed and reopened post-rain without anyone even noticing (or getting wet!)! We’ve had several guests tell us Morgan’s also had the best wedding food they’ve ever tasted- and we definitely agree! In addition, the beverage director worked with us on some wine upgrades that were amazing, he absolutely nailed it on sourcing exactly what we were looking for! All around, I don’t think we could’ve picked a better venue for our wedding- we were SO happy with our experience with Morgan’s and truly can’t thank their staff enough!

We had an amazing experience with Morgan's on Fulton and are so happy to have had our wedding there! Both Jena and Kasey were wonderful to work with and super helpful, making the whole planning process so easy and stress-free. The event spaces (we used the loft for the ceremony and rooftop for cocktail hour & reception) looked beautiful and were the perfect, intimate setting. In addition, the food was all top notch, and the staff was excellent.

I am not sure where to even begin with Morgan's. Our wedding would not have been the same at any other location. The venue it self is beautiful, the new rooftop is stunning, the staff were so great and fun to be around. It was truly the best day of our lives. We got married just under 2 weeks ago, and are continuously getting compliments for everything about our wedding day. The food was probably the biggest hit of the day, so many guests told us it was the best wedding food they had ever had (multiple requests for the mashed potato recipe). Lastly, working with Kasey was such a pleasure. She is so kind, easy-going , and a huge reason why everything went so seamlessly. I hope more of our friends get engaged soon so we can convince them to get married at Morgans, and if they don't, we will be returning for that vow renewal in 10 years (or maybe 5)

We had my daughter’s wedding here. Jena is a dream to work with. She helped us from start to finish. Working with her gave us the confidence to know we made the right decision having Morgan’s host our event. The space is wonderful. The staff was attentive. Also, having the ability to open the rooftop created the outdoor space everyone loves these days. A++

We had the most beautiful wedding thanks to Kasey and her team! The event space is absolutely gorgeous and is perfect for weddings year round now that the rooftop enclosure was built. The view is one of a kind. THE FOOD, just WOW! Truly the best wedding food I have ever had, I'm not just saying that because it was my wedding. There wasn't a detail missed. Kasey kindly took care of small details like the bar and dessert table signs to making sure my husband and I had a private space to ourselves to have apps and champagne right after the ceremony. The service was impeccable - all the staff was gracious and accommodating. I cannot recommend Morgan's on Fulton more!

We had our wedding at Morgan's on Fulton in November 2021, with about 100 guests in the newly-enclosed, gorgeous glass penthouse. Jena worked with us from our first tour of the space through to the day of the event, and was truly amazing to work with. We planned our wedding in about 4.5 months, and Jena was so helpful and flexible, including setting a second tour with my mom, the food tasting (soo good!), final walkthrough and lots of little questions and details throughout. We had a lot of expected out-of-town guests not be able to make it, due to covid, and so we were below the venue's food and beverage minimum; my only advice in assessing this venue for your wedding would be to consider the minimum with your expected number, as it is relatively high for the number of people the space holds. But Jena helped us figure out tasty and fun ways to meet the minimum, and was very responsive and flexible to get things worked out quickly as the day approached. The wedding turned out amazing! The food was absolutely delicious, the cafe lights twinkling throughout the space were just beautiful, and the dance floor set in the middle of the space helped keep people dancing all night long. We have gotten countless compliments on how wonderful everything was, thanks in no small part to this great venue and team. We highly recommend to any couple!!

Our wedding at Morgan's on Fulton was absolutely incredible, thanks to Kasey and her team. They were so accommodating with Covid as we postponed our date; at the new retractable roof made the postponement worth it! Kasey was wonderful with final last-minute details and working with us to have our perfect day. Our guests raved about the space and the view, and we would recommend Morgan's on Fulton to anyone planning a city wedding.

We had our wedding at Morgan’s this summer. We cannot say enough great things about the people we worked with (Kasey! Larry, etc.), to the venue itself. We had the most beautiful and fun evening, and can’t wait to keep hanging out at Marvin’s next door. The rooftop is incredible. Thank you, MoF!!!

Morgan’s on Fulton truly made all our wedding dreams come true. We initially booked the venue back in Apr’19, but with the pandemic we postponed our big wedding celebration to May’21. In the time that we waited for our wedding day, the venue went through a couple notable updates – a great restaurant connected to the first floor of the venue space and the most incredible retractable roof. Even after two years, the venue kept its same charm and magic that we fell in love from the beginning. It was important to us to have a venue where you felt like you were in Chicago in every room and it checked that box to a tee. Kasey, our main contact, was always quick to respond to our questions & concerns and was an absolute pleasure to work with. I would not wish COVID wedding planning on anyone, but Kasey and her team at MOF made it manageable and we felt supported from start to finish. Thank you for such a memorable experience!

Morgan’s on Fulton was the perfect venue for us to throw our surprise wedding! The venue is so unique with the multiple floors and different feel to each of them. We made the most out of the space by utilizing each floor for something different. We had welcome cocktails in the gallery, surprise ceremony on the second floor, tented reception in the penthouse/rooftop and even an after party in the lower level. The best thing about Morgan’s is that you can build your event the way YOU want it (we worked with Kasey and she was great and super supportive of our wacky ideas!). Our surprise wedding would not have been the same or as awesome at any other venue. The venue requires a day-of coordinator since the venue manager manages the venue, not the execution of the event. We chose Kate Lerman from Chicago Vintage Weddings at Kasey’s recommendation and highly recommend Kate as well.

We chose Morgan's on Fulton immediately. It had the warmth, the intimacy, and the beautiful Chicago skyline all in one beautiful location. They were also willing for our pup Morning to share our day with us! We worked with Keely from the beginning. She answered all of our questions and went above and beyond to give us recommendations of her favorite vendors and peers in the Chicago wedding market. She helped us shape our wedding. Trust the experts, and trust who they enjoy working with. I had been slightly worried about the possibility of the tent having to be put up. In the end it was a bit chilly outside and there was a possibility of light showers, so up it went! And I have to say: it was a blessing in disguise! The entire reception felt intimate and warm. It was never stifled, and all of our guests were still able to venture our on the deck to enjoy the fantastic view! My husband and I could not have chosen a better a venue or a better team. My many thanks to Keely and her staff.

From day 1 of searching, I knew i wanted to have my wedding and reception at Morgan's on Fulton because the rooftop is just stunning. Working with Keely and her team was an absolute breeze. they made wedding planning effortless and the day of was executed seamlessly. Beautiful venue, amazing staff, and perfect day!

We are so thankful we booked our wedding ceremony and reception at Morgan's on Fulton. The place is absolutely beautiful all on its own - so we didn't have to stress about moving in tons of decorations. The staff is wonderful, answered all of our questions promptly, and were amazing the day of to make sure everything went off without a hitch. Morgan's is very flexible with each couple - making sure you have the wedding that YOU want to have! Highlights include : - Morgan's has several vendors you can work with - we went with Big Star who knew the place extremely well and setup, teardown, service, and overall appearance of the catering was amazing. Morgan's and Big Star even let my craft beer loving husband add a few beer choices purchased on his own to complement Big Star's already impressive craft beer selection. - Morgan's were extremely flexible with the ending time - we decided to stay at the reception until 2 AM and they had no problem with this (this was our main complaint with a lot of other receptions) - Morgan's requires you to hire a day of coordinator. We weren't going to do it but are SO glad we did. I had zero stress on the day of the wedding about the logistics of getting the decor ready or flowing from one event to the other - Morgans works really well with wedding coordinators! - They let us play beer pong on the rooftop. We also rented out the ceremony space again post reception to play more beer pong and games until 2 AM.

We had our wedding here and we LOVED the venue and could not recommend the Morgan's on Fulton staff more. The team that we worked with made our experience incredible and so easy. They were flexible with us and always available to address questions or help us manage details. Keely, Justin, and Richard were the dream team!! From beginning to end, they were incredible and exceeded our expectations. The venue itself was gorgeous, as was their furniture, and we had a blast. It's a great location and I would choose Morgan's on Fulton again in a heartbeat!

I wanted to be able to score Morgan's on Fulton with a 5. The start of our experience with this venue was great. Keely was great to work with. She was very communicative and professional. She was happy to answer any of my questions and wanted to be sure our wedding day was special. The entire process, up until the day of, was great. Luckily, I have a sister-in-law that has planned many events, that I was able to rely on the day of the wedding. We had a banner we wanted hung in the middle of the "aisle". I gave explicit instructions for this, but I am guessing that instruction was never noted. She had to almost argue with the staff on site for where we wanted it. If she wouldn't have been there, no idea what they would have done with it. We also wanted to make our own playlist and not use a DJ. We asked several times about the quality of the sound and how a playlist like his would work. If it wouldn't, we would have hired a DJ. The sound quality outside was not great. On top of that, the staff on site wasn't too well versed in how the software worked with Spotify. I wish they would have been more up front, previously, on how their system worked. We could have planned way ahead and stopping and playing music wouldn't have been such an ordeal. I will say, if you want a beautiful venue with a great view. This is the place! Just be sure to ask a lot of questions. As I mentioned, Keely does what she can, based on her info, to solve any problems and answer al questions. To me, our wedding was beautiful and the above were just the few wrinkles that happened that day. I'm a low maintenance bride and the above may become a bigger deal to others.

My now husband and I had planned a weekend trip to Chicago to look a wedding venues last year and we ended up having to re-schedule for right before Thanksgiving. Thank goodness we did because otherwise we would not have been able to see Morgan's on Fulton! The space and staff blew us away compared to the other venues we looked at. We walked away that trip knowing that was it. Leading up to the big day, Macie was extremely easy to work with and she answered countless questions we had, was flexible with us being from out of state, and was always very responsive. We decided to have our ceremony, reception, and after party all at Morgan's on Fulton. It was so nice to have everything in one space, but keep guests surprised by having each "event" on a different level. We got so many compliments from guests on what a beautiful and unique space it is. The rooftop provided beautiful views of the skyline and was the perfect setting for our reception. We also decided to add on Studio M for an after party. That was an amazing decision and we had so much fun continuing the celebration with our friends and family. Justin was our onsite manager for the day of and he was perfect! He made sure setup and load in for our vendors went smoothly as well as breakdown. He was super organized and a pleasure to work with! All in all Morgan's on Fulton was incredible and we couldn't imagine having had our wedding anywhere else! Highly recommended!

From the moment we walked into Morgan's we fell in love with it. We knew the search for our wedding venue was over 5 minutes into the tour, it was perfect. My then fiancé cried 5 times that day, tears of joy. There is, quite literally, no other venue like it. 4 beautiful floors each with its own vibe & story to tell. Every one of our guests was in awe at the unique beauty of the place, from the skyline view to the art gallery to the surprises awaiting in the basement, no one saw it coming. Macie & Justin were fun & awesome to work with for the entire year we got to know them. We looked forward to every visit. Communication was great. We were given all the creative control we could hope for.. and the final result was a wedding that a lot of our loved ones remarked was the greatest they'd ever attended. That would 100% not have been the case without Morgan's. It will always be a special place to us & we couldn't recommend it/them enough, especially if you're looking for a completely unique wow factor.

Everything was perfect! From the start working with Keely was great; she was super responsive and helpful with any and all questions and requests we threw at her. The day off both Keely and Booker worked well with our vendors and coordinator to ensure everything was running smoothly and providing any help where needed. We had our wedding here with just over 120+ guests back in early August. Every guest was in awe of the setup and the uniqueness of the venue when first stepping out the elevator. We had compliments for weeks and guests are still reminiscing the night. The rooftop was great as we were able to fit all guests for a seated dinner on the deck and still have more than enough room for a large dance floor section. I will recommend Morgans to anyone seeking a venue space and without hesitation i would book Morgans again if I had an option of living the event all over again.

As soon as I walked into this venue, I knew I HAD to have this space for my wedding. As I took a tour throughout Morgan's, I was completely amazed by this gorgeous space- especially the rooftop. I'm currently planning my wedding and reception to be held on this rooftop space because the views are to die for. I know all my guests will be blown away by the views and venue space at Morgan's. On top of that, the service and management has been nothing but helpful, polite, and accommodating to me. I've bombarded Keely with multiple emails, texts, and phone calls (crazy bride status, I know) but he has been so quick to respond to all my concerns. He has made this stressful process run a lot smoother. Overall, I've had such a great experience with Morgan's on Fulton. I'm so looking forward to holding my wedding and reception here- it will truly be an incredible event.

From the first walk through I fell in love with the venue (especially the rooftop where our reception was). It is a very unique and cool space. The flow from the ceremony in Suite C to the rooftop for the reception was flawless. I had so many guests ranting and raving about how incredible the view was on the roof and how neat looking all of the furniture was! I would highly suggest this venue for anyone looking for a beautiful flawless wedding day!

The venue space was only thing that lived up to expectations. Venue manager was unresponsive and impolite on various occasions. The staff was rude, defensive, unhelpful throughout the day/night. I loved my wedding, and everything was perfect, with the exception of the venue staff and situations that arose involving them. 1. The wrong chairs were set up on the rooftop for the reception. What should have been a, "our mistake, we'll fix it as soon as possible" issue, Keely got very defensive, tried blaming me, and finally conceded to changing the chairs to what was originally promised only after a tedious discussion. 2. Air conditioning was not set low enough in any of the spaces. 3. During the after party event (11pm-1am in the Studio), there was sewage leaking into the basement bathroom from the bathroom above. After searching several areas of the building and still unable to locate anyone from the venue, the maid of honor located the staff member in the sidewalk area outside of the building. 4. Staff Issues -- The DJ had attempted to get assistance with the sound and light issues in the basement before the wedding ceremony began, but the problem was not addressed by venue staff until well after the "after hours" party began. -- I actually thought that one of Morgan's staff members was a guest, because he was standing around mingling on the platform on the rooftop. -- There were several instances where, because the point person from the venue was nowhere to be found, catering staff resulted to asking the bridal party and guests for direction as they did not know where things needed to go. -- General staff attitude was rude and defensive. 5. Communication issues throughout the entire process. Keely was very slow to respond to emails, and usually didn't until I followed up first. There was a lot of back and forth communication on the floor plans, resulting from Keely not listening and not even having the correct information about my wedding.
