I also worked with a bridal attendant via Mostest as part of a promotional deal when I booked a wedding planner. Natania, my bridal attendant, was lovely. Bubbly, kind, perceptive, and providing perfectly timed check-ins, she was everything I didn’t know I needed on my wedding day. While I didn’t originally plan to have someone fill this roll, at the end of the day I’m so glad I had someone to.

We selected Tea who was an ALL STAR from the start - she deeply, truly cared about my husband and I from day 1 and made it known her priority was not only fulfilling our wedding goals and making the details come to life but making our love story feel special and assuring our day was captured and cherished the way we wanted it to. We also opted for a junior coordinator and got SO LUCKY with Cassandra - another amazing person and excellent solution-oriented coordinator who was high-level, and on top of everything for the wedding day. From the moment we spoke with Tea and set every meeting and spoke through every detail until the very end of our wedding and seeing the items we asked her to pack up + bring to our hotel all in an organized box, it was a breeze. Both Tea and Cassandra on wedding day made the impossible, possible - magic happened and every detail we planned had come perfectly to life all because of their quick wit, organized sense of operation and love & care. Even when something went a bit off, they fixed it and made sure it didn't alter any of our plans and kept us calm. They led our ceremony rehearsal and assured our ceremony with a big family and wedding party went perfectly smooth. DISCLAIMER & VENDOR REVIEW
This 2.5-star review is for my experience with Mostest itself, NOT for my 90-day senior coordinator Kris G (5/5 stars if I could give a separate review)....
Our junior coordinator, Fanesse G, was great in her role as well. I also had helpful advice from Jilian B (one “L”) in the short time we had together. I’d highly recommend the three of them for your future events in NYC / Hudson Valley!

MISSING TIMELINE HELP
My most critical need was to draft a customized wedding timeline as early as possible (ideally at the 4-6 month mark). At that time, Mostest did not have an option for that type of assistance.
Instead, I received a generic checklist / timeline from them, and their Complimentary Planning Session / Coordination Deep Dive was mostly just to make sure they had the correct overall details for my wedding—they couldn’t really help me with timeline during those calls. Instead, they told me to wait for my coordinator to be assigned, which led to me finalizing my ceremony start time at the 2.5 month mark (severely delaying my invite printing and mailing, and adding to my stress level).
Rather than the 5+ Mostest personnel that could only provide me partial assistance, it would’ve been better to have ONE planner. They can look at your schedule comprehensively and make adjustments as needed. And they’ll be the one working with you on the wedding day to minimize the chance of miscommunication.

INCONSISTENT SUPPORT
My biggest peeve with Mostest is that there were too many people handling my case. It felt like I was getting a new customer service rep every time an issue was being addressed. I also didn’t appreciate that I didn't know their timeline of when or who would contact me. I would get pushed random advice/questionnaire emails from Mostest, but they mostly felt repetitive, generic, or not fully fleshed out.
(Now they have a “Premium Concierge” subscription, but given my experience I’d be hesitant to trust that offering…)
Additionally, we were paired with a Junior Coordinator a month away from the wedding, but the person was switched TWICE without any notification—I only found out because I checked the status every day.

Because they are a newer and growing company, they make frequent updates to their service offerings. Unfortunately, their website has a few bugs and quirks that aren’t always fully rolled out in time to meet the service changes.

Mostest's a-la-carte pricing drew me in, but their verbiage of "Full Service Bundle” was deceptive, as it referenced the traditional work of a full service planner.
I ended up spending over $3300 (after their 30% discount) but felt that I overspent on services I didn't need AND didn't receive help in areas that were critical during the planning phase. For the sake of my time, energy, and anxiety, I wish I directly hired Kris, whose partial planning services start at a slightly higher range but every dollar would have been put to good use.

If I knew what I know now, I would have used the Mostest platform as a launchpad to search for bios and reviews of local vendors who have their own small business websites (just a google search away).

ven if it costs a bit more. The coordinators I ended up with were OK, but not very experienced and had poor communication. I would 10/10 recommend going with a coordinator who works with your venue.
I used Something Borrowed Blooms (SBB) for my centerpieces and ceremony flowers, which is the only reason I ever considered or heard of Mostest. I chose Mostest for SBB setup/breakdown as well as day-of coordinator, as the latter was required by our venue. Initially, we booked a single service (combined setup/breakdown and day-of coordination for 10 hours--a service Mostest still advertised as of the date of our wedding but does not actually seem to provide). About six months out, Mostest contacted me and said we would need to hire a second hand for the setup/breakdown of SBB because we had an order size of more than 10 boxes (which, I note, is NOT a very large order and may involve no more than setting down arrangements on tables and stands). I agreed to this and paid them an additional $650. A couple weeks from my wedding, they then tried to force me to pay for ANOTHER $700 coordinator for the same reason of our order being over 10 boxes. When pointed out that we already paid for this, they told me the "day-of coordinator" (which had been originally booked as a combo coordinator/SBB setup service) would not be handling decor AT ALL (neither SBB nor our other light decor like guestbooks, signs, putting out candles, etc.).
After extensive back and forth, Mostest gave me a day-of coordinator for 10 hours and a setup/breakdown coordinator. Both of these individuals felt set up to fail by Mostest and we were all incredibly stressed. We made it work, but this is the fault of the platform, not of the customer or the up-and-coming coordinators they are taking advantage of.

ead of the big day. We had an 87-person restaurant wedding at American Brass in LIC. Our DoC, Tea Shepherd, was incredible and picked up seamlessly all the things we planned for the wedding. I had put together most of the plans ahead of time, but she came in with suggestions and perfected all the details. I trusted her completely to run the day and also do all the decor setup. She made the venue looks so beautiful without much input from us as we trusted her vision. She coordinated with all the vendors before the wedding and during and they all had very positive things to say about her. She was so thoughtful with the preparations for the wedding and attentive to our needs. She checked in with us throughout the night to make sure we had a drink and anything else while also making sure ran smoothly. Our coordinator for SBB, Fiona, received and dropped off all of the packages and communicated quickly and we’re very happy how all of that was handled.

Valerie was organized, thorough, and executed every one of our details perfectly and with care. She knew how important is was that we could be present on our wedding day, and she totally took the pressure off of us. She anticipated our needs before we even voiced them and kept the day running smoothly - our guests even noticed how seamless the day was.
Emily, our bridal attendant, was incredible—so attentive, kind, and calming. If you need a sign to hire an attendant - let this be it!!! Your coordinator/planner can't be everywhere at once, so that's where your attendant can step in. Emily was right by my side all day and I didn't need to ask for her assistance with things, she just knew exactly when to step in. And when she saw a sweet candid moment, she even took some behind the scenes content for me, which ended up being some of my favorite photos from the day.
Both of them exceeded all our expectations. Their teamwork, professionalism, and genuine care made our wedding day stress-free and so magical. They made our day flow perfectly - there truly wasn't a single hiccup. I can't recommend them enough!

She was condescending and made me feel bad about my wedding after every meeting. So I told mostest and they immediately made it right and reassigned me to Kenna Reid. She. Was. Amazing. After every single meeting I would tell my husband "I love Kenna". She made me feel so confident about my wedding and that she knew the event just as much as I did. I cannot say enough amazing things about Kenna. My day went perfectly all thanks to her and the Jr day of Coordinator Adelaide!
If you are in Seattle and hire mostest and see Kenna as an option PICK HER!! She was so organized and helpful and did so much (which truly proved that the original coordinator was just being lazy).

During our meetings, we experienced her level of commitment, her clear passion for wedding planning (and weddings), experience, attention to detail, positive attitude, and kind, capable receptiveness to our questions and concerns. She was both rigorous and at ease in her approach, and the way in which she was able to comprehensively work through the event with us--to inform, solve, and improve, just mere days beforehand--was remarkable. In the days before the wedding, the time she took to closely, carefully, and thoughtfully work through the details of the event with us (moment by moment, vendor by vendor, movement by movement), gave us both a much, much clearer sense of the practical minutiae of the day, raised (solvable) issues we hadn't even noticed ourselves, and gave us a real sense of confidence knowing in she would be overseeing the day. She reached out to vendors, staff, and guests who had special roles at the wedding (performances, etc). On the day of the wedding, she was an unobtrusive, kind, steady presence helping to signal, guide, help, etc.all the moving pieces of the day. We saw how warm she was with our guests, how affable and capable she was with vendors and staff, and,in general, how effective she was at making things work. In turn, our feeling of having ourselves, our guests, and our day looked out for in this way allowed us to really be fully present at our wedding, without having to field issues or distractions, and without anxiety. We're both immensely thankful for her.

All three team members were incredible. Our bridal attendant, Staffie, was so thoughtful and attentive. She anticipated things I didn’t even realize I needed and made sure everyone in the room felt taken care of. She was calm, kind, and such a helpful presence throughout the day. 100% recommend her!
Our junior coordinator, Maria, was also amazing. Since our ceremony was at a separate location from the reception, Mostest recommended having a junior coordinator so that our main coordinator could head to the venue and manage setup and vendors. It was the best decision. Maria stayed with us, kept everyone on track, communicated with both wedding parties, and helped us stick to our timeline. She even came to the hotel beforehand to make sure everything was running smoothly and it did!
And finally, Michelle, our main coordinator, was an absolute superstar. From the very beginning, she made us feel like we were her only clients. She responded to questions quickly, helped us think through every detail, and offered thoughtful suggestions that made our day even better. On the wedding day itself, I was completely at ease knowing she was at the helm. Everything flowed so smoothly because of her.
One thing that really stood out to me about Mostest is that they let you review bios of their team members and choose your top picks for each role. We ended up with our first choices across the board, and I can confidently say that each of them exceeded expectations.
When I first spoke with the team at Mostest, I was told that “your wedding day is not our team’s first time or a day for them to learn.” That could not be more true. Michelle, Maria, and Staffie were complete professionals and total rockstars. I’m so, so glad we had them by our side.

he month before our wedding, and Michelle really helped us be able to relax during it by communicating with our vendors and getting so many details we didn't realize we needed. And day-of she went above and beyond, from helping us decorate with our DIY bud vases to keeping timing on track to helping us clean everything up at the end of the night. We probably don't even realize half the things she smoothed over for us on our wedding day because we didn't even have to think about them! We truly couldn't have done it without her - I'm very glad we decided to go with Mostest :)

To summarize where things fell flat, the company promotes their vetting process post deep dive discussions to which they will then present three (3) coordinators for you to ultimately select the coordinator you wish to work with; except this wasn’t my case. My coordinator was chosen for me and I was told this was due a system issue they were experiencing (the second of them all, the website continuously listed an incorrect wedding date). Upon this occurring I expressed my concerns and was met with them reassuring me the planner they selected on my behalf is more than capable of facilitating my event and advised that they were carefully selected and have several years of experience behind them.
I met with the coordinator a few days after where they also assured me they have several years of experience and noted the various capacities to which they worked in the industry as a planner and recently acquired a planner certification to assist them in further sharpening their planning/coordinator skillset. The coordinator informed me they had coordinated anywhere between ~20-30 weddings per year. This prompted me to be and feel more comfortable with moving forward with the coordinator Mostest selected on my behalf. The coordinator was helpful with providing resources acquiring information, and completing most tasks post our interactions. We held a rehearsal the day before the wedding (she was 30 mins late), she was given a walkthrough of decoration placement with visual aid during the walk through. The day of the wedding the coordinator was given a binder containing a very thorough run-down of the placement of items (all of which was previously discussed/established), instructions of which items should be distributed to/amongst the vendors. To my surprise post my ceremony I found more than half the items were not arranged correctly if at all. I learned from other vendors that they took the lead in setting up, arranging details, in seeing how “overwhelmed” and “inexperienced” my coordinator was. Multiple vendors described her as being “very green” and “scattered” and upon checking in with the coordinator to share feedback (vendor to vendor) they were informed by the coordinator that “this is her first year of wedding planning”; you could imagine the shock this sent through me as this contradicts what the coordinator informed me during our initial meeting as well as what Mostest promotes which is coordinators/planners will have at minimum “2+ years” of experience. This all explained why my decorations were not setup, vendors not provided with their resources, bathroom basket was not placed in the restroom, my cake/dessert table was not setup, caterer/servers not provided with their resources, vendors having to lead themselves due to the lack of guidance and support from the coordinator; customized items including guests keepsakes, cake topper, customized bar napkins, drink toppers, tissue packets were not distributed so now I am left with these items that are non refundable and instead of them being apart of what was my wedding day and design efforts.
While not all the missed details were obvious to guests, what was obvious was the lack of complete setup upon their arrival. Ceremony chairs were not put out, signs intended to direct guest post parking their car not placed in the designated areas as communicated. My ceremony start time was pushed back 30 mins unbeknownst to me due to us running late and this was not communicated until arrival.What sweetened the deal was the coordinator regurgitating next to me as she was to direct me to walk down the aisle.
In communicating this to Mostest while apologetic seemed very combative and lacking accountability in any capacity. I have never worked with such a duplicitous group of people and couldn’t be more disappointed with a company. The coordinator went as far as relaying to another vendor after they informed her she needed help that “the company only assigned her” to my event and this is why she was there alone. This is what I am left with to remember from what was to be one of the most memorable days of my life.

On the day of the wedding, everything ran so smoothly. and got a lot of things right. However, there were several major moments during and after the wedding that make us question our choice going with Mostest. When you hire the team for your wedding, you are trusting them to handle key aspects of the day so you can relinquish control and be present with your loved ones. Mostest is a good middle of the road option but left a lot to be desired.
Here's what went right: Brittany did a great job making a day of timeline and kept us on schedule before and during the wedding. She took care of tips at the end of the night and helped carry gifts to our car at the end of the night. The weekly calls leading up to the wedding, which started six weeks out, were so helpful too. And she did a fantastic job of coordinating everything with the venue and the vendors leading up to the day. This was invaluable and the wedding wouldn’t have happened without her help.
Here's what didn’t go right: A huge blunder was on our aisle walk out song. The DJ played the right song, but the wrong version. We’re not sure who this falls on, but we had spoken at length with the DJ and Brittany about how important music was to us, so for this snafu to happen at such a big moment was a massive bummer.
Another hiccup was that we were assured by the venue that all liquor options would be available throughout the evening. And they were. BUT, after rounds of conversations about how much our families and friends love dirty martinis, we were disheartened to learn during cocktail hour that the venue didn’t have olive juice. This kind of feels like an embodiment of our main gripes with Mostest – dirty martinis were a small but very important thing to us, and we believed they’d be the people to make sure that was covered…but it wasn’t.
The last, but biggest problem we had was with our cake. We were shocked to discover that a significant chunk of our family and friends (including the bride’s mom) didn’t get cake. When we asked Brittany why people didn’t receive cake, she said that we ran out. This was confusing because we had more than enough cake for everyone. The day following the wedding, Brittany texted us that some of the cake was discovered in the fridge. It wasn’t until we got to the venue that we discovered half the cake (as in 10 unopened boxes) was still in there and no one took it out during the wedding.
She apologized for this and the other snafus, but we can’t get that time back. Did we get married and have fun? Yes, and that was the point of the evening. But we hired Mostest to cross the T’s and dot the I’s for a party that took over a year to plan, and that didn’t happen. It’s a good budget choice for your wedding, but if we were to do it again, we’d spend a little more and invest in a planner that’s there from the start.

We decided to go for the month-of coordinator since we really didn’t know what the hell we were doing, and were getting a little overwhelmed with the planning. Her enthusiasm for weddings is what stood out right away, and we could tell that she really loves her work. Carly is super helpful, kind, and patient. Throughout the entire process, she made us feel comfortable and heard. She revealed so many blind spots in our planning process, gave us great suggestions, and kept us on task. On the day of our wedding, Carly took charge of coordinating with vendors and the venue and helped with setup and teardown. We never had to think about the schedule since Carly was there to cue each moment. The whole day felt effortless thanks to Carly and we are so happy that we had the opportunity to work with her.

Throughout the planning process, I had regular meetings with Allison to refine our vision and ensure everything was on track. sign, book, pay for, and otherwise plan everything you see, hear, touch, and taste at a wedding. Music cues, coffee cups, guestbook pages, parking spots. With Sarah on our side, we had the collective bandwidth needed to tie up every loose end and fine detail, and put on an unforgettable party for our guests. We trusted her completely, and we couldn’t have done it without her.
Here are some of the things Sarah did that let us know that she is a star:
- Put us at ease throughout all our planning calls, and on the day, with her calming presence and positive spirit. Immediately picked up on the vibes we wanted at our wedding and helped to deliver them.
- Quickly, compassionately handled a potential unwelcome-guest situation that arose 1 week out, including tweaking seating chart and placecards and alerting venue security in case the un-invited guest showed up. (Nothing happened, but we were prepared, and everyone was able to party through it.)
- Helped us pull together a farewell brunch the morning after our wedding, on short notice and basically out of thin air.
- Ran and got groom an aspirin when he had a little headache.
- Danced onto the dancefloor with an urgent question for us - typed out on her phone (black background with white font so as not to blast anyone with light) so we could answer discreetly.
- Wrangled Tita Flor during the family photo shoot. (A big job.)
- Somehow stayed completely out of the way during our wedding, yet charmed the daylights out of anyone who encountered her.
And shout out to everyone else at Mostest - the Planning Concierge team was very kind and responded quickly to any questions we had over 9 months of our initial planning process before we were set up with Sarah, who took it from there. We’re recommending Sarah and Mostest to every couple we know, including one who is working with her on their wedding this year. We will be so happy to see her again!

the lack of communication from the time of booking to the time of assigned planner. My mom and I were like, well I hope we didn't just get scammed because from the time of booking a year out from the wedding the platform rebranded from Gather to Mostest and I felt we got lost in that transition until I reached out to the company. Overall, the month of coordinator served the purpose of being a planner that picks up all the DIY planning/ organization from the bride. Its a good option for a VERY organized bride who can do all the planning and just needs a wedding decor oriented person to help with overseeing decor set up and the flow of events on the day of the wedding.
