I can’t recommend Moulin enough for your wedding. I was the third girl to have my reception here from my family, and there’s definitely a reason we keep coming back. Ann and Linda are AMAZING to work with. The planning was so stress free knowing that the wedding was in their hands. They are organized and go above and beyond to make your day special. They work with your vendors seamlessly, and of course the venue itself is beautiful. Can’t recommend them enough.

I really don't think five stars is enough for Moulin Events! My fiance and I LOVED Moulind so much. The Centennial Room was stunning and the food was easily the best wedding food we've ever eaten. Working with Ann made the wedding planning process go much smoother than I could have ever imagined. I didn't use a planner and didn't feel like I needed one with all of her help. When Covid hit and we had to postpone, she made the postponement easy and stress-free for us. The night of our wedding, Ann and Linda were both extremely helpful and made the night run smoothly. All of our guests were blown away by how beautiful the venue was and how delicious the food was. We also had many out-of-town guests and they were able to enjoy the other bars and restaurants in the building between our ceremony and reception as well. I HIGHLY recommend Moulin to anyone planning a wedding in St. Louis.

We knew from the moment we met with Ann that the Moulin was going to be the right venue for us! She is a true professional and has a tried and true process that worked so well, while still taking into account our unique vision and desires for our wedding day. We held our ceremony and reception in the Chouteau Room and Jefferson Ballroom, respectively. Both spaces were beautiful and had the right feel we were looking for. Due to COVID, we had to postpone from our original date in July 2020 to April 2021. Ann and her team helped us manage all of the changes in plans with as little stress as possible. We live out of town so we couldn't do a tasting, but we trusted the chefs and the food turned out great! We dealt with capacity restrictions, masking requirements, and travel concerns, but the Moulin team did everything and more to make sure we and our guests felt safe and still had a great time. The communication was great throughout the entire planning process, the day of, and the days after. Many thanks to Linda for being a wonderful attendant and ensuring we had everything we needed from first look photos to the last dance. Highly recommend Moulin to anyone considering venues in Downtown St. Louis!

If I had all the money in the world and could travel anywhere, I would pick Moulin Events over and over again. Seriously. The Wedding Coordinator Ann Jones made planning a small wedding during a pandemic stress free and fun. Ann was so supportive, fun, and just wonderful to work with. When we arrived we didn't get a folder and a 5 minute tour ; we got 30 minutes, a full tour, and the history of the space. I saw my wedding come to life through that tour. Ann was always prompt and responsive for any meeting, call, and email. On the day of our wedding, Linda was my bridal attendant and I do not have enough words to say to say how thankful I was for her. Ann and Linda.. just thank you, thank you, thank you! You BOTH made our day and we couldn't have done it without you. You were always two steps ahead, anticipating our needs, making sure my groom and I had small moments throughout the day to just take everything in. You both we're made for this profession and any future bride and groom is so darn lucky to have you. Please people, PICK THIS VENUE! You won't regret it. The space, the FOOD..OMG THE FOOD, the staff are just sensational. I look forward to future date nights at the adjoining restaurants to look back on such a special day. We love you Moulin!! PS ..Ann and Linda, my family and friends just raved about you as well. I just wish you all the best and so many blessing in 2021.

I can not say enough AMAZING things about, not only the venue, but the staff of people here. From the get go, John was amazing to work with, easy going, answered all of our tedious questions and met with us multiple times to make sure we had the right room for our wedding and reception. For the details, we worked with Ann. And when I tell you she took all of the stress of, I'm not kidding you. Getting married in 2020 brought on a new level of wedding stress. We met with Ann once before our wedding and went over all of the details. She made our vision come to life. She contacted all of our vendors and had the room set up perfectly for both our ceremony and reception. Linda was there with me from the time I arrived to the venue, offering me champagne and snacks throughout the day. She was the last person I saw when I left the reception and had all of my belongings together and a bag with all of our cards. I could literally cry thinking about how amazing the day was and it wouldn't have been the same if we went with a different venue. I HIGHLY recommend Moulin Events for your event. Everything turned out more amazing than I could have ever imagined.

We had our wedding at Moulin on November 13. From the get go, Ann made us feel welcomed and worked with us in every way. I personally loved working with her! Our original wedding date was November 14. New covid restrictions went into place at 12AM on the 14th. Ann called us first thing in the morning to inform us of the information. We moved our wedding from Saturday to Friday and she helped us more than I ever imagined she would. She stayed calm too! What a relief. The day of our wedding we had a wonderful woman named Linda who made sure we were as comfortable as can be. When I think of Moulin, I think of those two fabulous women who did a phenomenal job. I HIGHLY recommend this venue.

My experience with the Moulin was one you’d think you’d only dream of! Ann Jones is the Event Specialist and she had me sold on this event space from our very first encounter. She is extremely knowledgeable, responsive, and straight to the point, which I appreciate! She and Linda (Day-of Bridal Assistant) are angels and the dream team! I truly could not have asked for a more perfect wedding day and celebration, thanks to these two. They wouldn’t allow myself, my family, or guests lift a finger. Anything we needed, no matter how big or small, was taken care of with genuine pleasure. The entire experience was so pleasant from day one. I couldn’t wait to see it all come together... I had been anticipating it for so long. To have finally seen it all and be present to soak it all in is such a beautiful memory I’ll cherish forever. We have received so many compliments on everything! From the the space itself, to decor, to food, and staff — we, our families, and our guests were so impressed. We ran into some small hiccups amid planning during COVID-19, but Ann and her team were so accommodating. We ended up switching to new rooms to allow for more space for social distancing just a few weeks out. That feels like it might be scary — throwing your trust into a team to make such a big change so close to your date. However, I never doubted Ann for one second. It all came together beautifully and was truly perfect. Allow her to take creative control in areas you aren’t sure of — you will not be disappointed, I promise you!

We worked with Ann Jones at this venue and I could NOT be more pleased with our experience. She is literally a wonder woman when it comes to rolling with the punch of a pandemic and guest count changes in light of 2020 nonsense. We used the Jefferson Ballroom for our Ceremony and the Cenntenial for the Reception and I about passed out when I saw the rooms all dolled up with the details I spent nearly 1.5 years perfecting. No lie. It's like these people jumped inside my vision and made it exactly the reality I hoped for. Linda helped with the full reception and she as THE reason that my husband and I got to eat the fabulous appetizers and dinner we picked out. Nothing is a bigger complaint I hear from brides outside of "I was so busy, I didn't get to...". Not with Linda looking out for you! She really watched out for us. She also made sure that guests did not get overserved, but in a way that was sneaky and made it seem like it was the GUEST that decided they needed to slow down at the bar. A true unicorn of a woman. If you want unbelievable food, ambiance, respectful and timely communication, and a stellar experience, you NEED to book this venue!

We had our wedding at Moulin in October. It was one of the best decisions that we made. Ann was the best person to work with. She was always helpful and made sure we had no issues with anything. She was always optimistic and genuine and made our big day feel special! The venue space, food, and decor provided were above our expectations and were made to fit our budget. We would recommend this venue to anyone!

One of the best decisions we made in wedding planning was to choose Moulin Events as a venue. It was such a beautiful place for our ceremony and reception and Ann and her team made the day run so smoothly! And the food was so incredible - my husband and I love brunch and Ann made sure we had the best brunch buffet for all of our guests. Everyone raved about the food and about the space. Ann has such an eye for decorating and making sure every little detail is taken care of. We cannot recommend Moulin and Ann enough!

Wedding coordinator for day of us ON TOP of their game. They have meetings with you and confirm all the details of your wedding with you. This was the best experience I can imagine, and you truly have a flawless day. Brides get their own personal helper for day of wedding (I didn’t realize this before hand and LINDA WAS AMAZING), they schedule delivery times with your vendors so you don’t have to, and they even decorate and pack up for you! Best. Venue. EVER.

Mission Accomplished! We wanted to celebrate the Hawaiian wedding of our son and his new wife. Our goal was to bring some of Hawaii to a special venue that would have outstanding food. Our hopes were accomplished better than anticipated! The Malt House Cellar, one of the Moulin Party Spaces, provided a unique, charming space which guests could move through and mingle. The game area added fun with pool tables, shuffle board, darts, foosball, and the bonus of a photo booth! Ann, the coordinator guided us through the process. She set up a meeting with Chef Ryan to discuss our vision. He listened, made suggestions and put together an AMAZING menu. The favorable reviews and positive comments from family and friends are still coming. The delicious food and gorgeous presentation was remarkable! “Beautiful and delicious” are the descriptors being said by the attendees. Creativity abounded, they added colored lights, decorations, tropical flowers, fun photo booth props and the Chef’s artistic tiki from carved watermelons was over the top!! A masterpiece by anyone’s definition. The staff spent time and were imaginative, it appeared as though they truly enjoyed creating this special event! Their efforts were appreciated and truly fulfilled our hopes! From our initial meeting with John, discussions with Ann, to the personal party helper Linda and the AMAZING wait staff, EVERYTHING WAS SEAMLESSLY DONE and the PARTY WAS PERFECT! Our experience was EXCEPTIONAL and we highly recommend this venue if you want to have a memorable celebration!

Our daughter's wedding at Moulin was spectacular - from the warm ambience to the excellent service to the fabulous food! All of our guests commented on how great the food was - definitely NOT your average wedding food! Coordinators Ann and Alex did a great job of taking care of the small details all the way along and they were gracious about making last-minute changes to match our vision. Dawn and the other servers made sure our guests had everything they needed during the evening. Bravo to the whole Moulin team! We would hold another wedding/event there in a heartbeat!

We absolutely loved Moulin Events. The venue is so beautiful and our day went so smoothly. Ann was very helpful and guided us through all of the details, and Linda was a fantastic bridal attendant!

Our reception in the Centennial Ballroom at Moulin Events was perfect! We met with Ann and discussed our priorities and she and her team delivered! One of the best parts was being able to drop off "decorations" several days before the reception and have them packed up and loaded into a car afterwards...we didn't lift a finger! They combined our items with their own inventory to create beautiful displays on the entry table, gift table, coffee station, etc. Their creativity and the simple beauty of the room with its wood floors, beams, brick walls, and cafe lights strung across the dance floor created an elegant atmosphere. The bar set up, cocktail tables and layout were exactly what we wanted-everyone in the same room to enjoy the entire night and we wanted the dance floor full all night. The food was outstanding, taste and presentation, and they worked with us to create an awesome signature drink. The staff was professional and friendly - both food and service were commented on by most of the guests! Linda was dedicated that night to the Bride, Groom and parents/grandparents...it was a level of personal service that we never imagined! The entire night exceeded our expectation and was in large part due to the venue and the service!

Ann went above and beyond to help me in any way that she could to make sure that my wedding was super special. I was really happy with her efforts. I was really stressed out by doing a sit down dinner and full traditional wedding, but she really helped me to get through it.

BOOK HERE - you won't regret it. To us, Ann made all the difference. We really liked the Centennial Room space as well, but we felt instant comfort when we met Ann, heard her tips & expertise. Her hands-on, 'use me' & yes-we-can approach is music to a bride's ears. We also loved having Linda taking care of us the night of, she's so attentive - keeps a drink in your hand w/o asking, knows where your stuff is, placed our PW Pizza order for the after party at 21st Brewers Bar, quite amazing & such a treat to work with her! My friends we so impressed that we had an attendant, we felt extra fancy! The venue was the perfect size for our ~190 person, seated dinner reception w/ live band. Food is goooood. Don't eat before the tasting, you'll need all the stomach space! Definitely a bonus they include options for basic linens/table settings, tables & chairs (less vendors to coordinate, less delivery fees, etc.). I loved how well Moulin worked with our vendors, Ann took the lead to coordinate day of details with them. She even toured my photographer through the venue so she could get a feel for the space. I wish I could re-live wedding day everyday :)

We just had our wedding reception at the Moulin this past Saturday and I couldn't wait to get my review written. Everything about my reception was perfect! We had so many compliments on how beautiful everything looked and how amazing the food was. Ann was such a pleasure to work with. After our very first meeting with her we knew the Moulin was the one! Not only was the space amazing, we knew we wanted to work with Ann. Throughout the whole process all of my questions were answered within hours, sometimes minutes. The tasting was awesome, we went through every detail of the wedding and got to eat the amazing food. We dropped our items off the Tuesday before the reception and everything was set up perfectly, actually better than I imagined. Ann even reached out to all of my vendors and coordinated with them. I didn't know I was getting a wedding planner when I signed up but that's basically what she is! The day of the wedding Linda was absolutely amazing. She helped the groom and I all night and was always there to get us what we needed. The day wouldn't have been as perfect as it was without both Ann and Linda. The Moulin has an amazing team, amazing venue, and amazing food! They helped make this a day that we will never forget!

Being the Type A person I am I was very concerned about having everything set up and run exactly the way I had imagined. The other wedding venues said I would be able to set up my decorations the day of and would have to tear down myself that night. Not with Moulin. Ann set up a meeting with us 3 months before the wedding where we tasted EVERYTHING and went over every single detail of the day. I was able to drop off all of the decor 3 days before the wedding and everything was set up exactly how I imagined. I didn't have to worry about taking anything down because they did it all for me. The food was absolutely delicious and my guest raved about the service! Ann was only a phone call or email away and always made herself available. She was open to any suggestions and never made my questions feel stupid. I cannot recommend Moulin high enough. I would choose them all over again.

Choosing Moulin for your wedding reception will be the best decision you ever made! I cannot say enough positive things about my entire experience with this venue. The space is gorgeous, the food is amazing (I had several people tell me it's the best food they've ever had at a wedding) and the service is incredible. Ann, the coordinator, was amazing. Weddings are stressful and having her took so many things off my plate. She had great suggestions for the reception layout, timeline and menu. She contacted all of my vendors and made arrangements for the day of and let us drop off our decorations days before the wedding and she even arranged them all for us so we didn't have to worry about getting into the venue the day of the wedding to do it ourselves. She just gets it done and does it well! The bridal attendant during our reception was wonderful (I'm sorry I cannot remember her name). She made sure the bridal party always had drinks (even when the bar closed for dinner) , made sure we got to try all the flavors of our cake and boxed up all our stuff at the end of the night including a little gift bag that had some of our favors, a bottle of champagne and other reception keepsakes. I could go on and on. Do yourself a favor and reserve this place while you can!

We were quite nervous to plan our wedding from afar in Washington, D.C., but this worry (as well as any other we had about the day) were unnecessary as Moulin handled almost all of the logistics! Ann and Alex are both extremely patient and communicative through email and even scheduled a walkthrough with us over Skype. More than being the best value for your money, Moulin really cares about the couples at all steps of the process. We felt so taken care off, and with so many opportunities for stress on your wedding day, this attention to detail is so important. For example, the morning of the wedding, my (now) husband called Moulin to discuss logistics of how to get our florist's flowers on our cake before guests arrived. We were afraid there may be a problem with the last minute request, but Alex immediately assured him, "Why are you worrying about this? We'll make sure it happens. It's literally your wedding day, so you just go get married and leave it to us!" My jaw actually dropped when we arrived that evening-the staff had done a fantastic job decorating the hall exactly as we specified (and where we hadn't specified, using their best artistic judgement) and the food was INCREDIBLE. All evening, Dawn was always checking in with us to make sure we had a drink, that we had enough food, and that we were staying on schedule. Every time she appeared, she had a smile and really made me feel like she cared that we had a good time. I know at some reception venues the family and bridal party have to put away decorations at the end of the night or early the next morning but Moulin handles this as well! We were free to enjoy pizza with close friends in the cellar bar while our decorations were carefully packed up and put in my in-laws' vehicles. I cannot emphasize enough how glad you will be to book Moulin. My only regret is that I will only have one wedding to work with them. Thank you Moulin! It's clear you love your jobs, and I'm so grateful we had such passionate people ensuring we had a perfect night.

I don't even know where to begin when reviewing Moulin. We started out speaking with Ann and scheduled a tour of the venue. Right away Ann made me feel comfortable and at ease. She was so outgoing, sweet, funny and professional. I was planning a wedding in St. Louis while living in Denver so it was a little bit tricky. Ann worked with my schedule for everything and made things so easy on me. I had a ton of questions, comments, worries...etc throughout the course of the year and Ann took care of everything quickly and efficiently. She is a pro at what she does. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful. We loved the way the exposed brick looked in photos. The staff couldn't have been nicer. Every single person went above and beyond. Besides the staff and the ambiance of the venue we absolutely LOVED the food. The appetizers we chose were TO DIE FOR. There were so many options that tasted so good I wish we could have gotten all of them! The mini burgers, wontons and New Orlean's style shrimp was what we chose and we got so many compliments on them. The staff also does an amazing job at making sure the bride and groom ALWAYS have food and drink. I was definitely not one of those brides that was " too busy to eat." LOL. We had steak, chicken and vegetarian options for dinner. The steak was lovely, so tender and flavorful, cooked to perfection. The chicken wasn't dry at all and had a delicious sauce. All of our vegetarian guests raved about the stuffed mushroom too. My parents, husband, in-laws and sisters loved the venue and the staff. My dad thought compared to a lot of other venues you got way more bang for your buck at Moulin. I looked at and researched 6 other venues in St. Louis and liked Moulin the most right off the bat. They were more price-friendly, accommodating and seemed easier to work with than some other venues. They also let you specialize a lot of things and add your own personal touches to different options. VERY happy with our choice to spend our special night at Moulin. Also- another good note to make is that if you can't afford a wedding coordinator just book Moulin as your venue because Ann basically does everything for you. :)

We got so many compliments on how much our guests loved the event space at Moulin, it creates such a rustic classy feel which was just the vibe we were wanting. We had a live band and the party was lit from start to finish. Ann is incredibly organized and responded extremely quickly for any needs. They took care of everything from decorations, food, etc and it was such a stress relief. It is a wonderful venue.

We hosted our second wedding at Moulin Events. Our first daughter had her reception there 2 years ago and it was perfect. The staff makes you feel like a VIP. They made sure the bride and groom as well as the parents had drinks and food knowing how hard it is to stop and eat When it came time to plan a second wedding our daughter had loved her sisters but wanted her own thing. Again the staff made sure it was completely unique to her with all the same quality and VIP treatment. We are still receiving notes and comments about how wonderful both receptions were THANK YOU ANN JONES AND LINDA!! Your the best!! Ann Mc

With the help of Ann and Linda our day was everything we could have ever imagined! They truly brought our vision to life in what everyone was calling “the most beautiful wedding” they’d ever seen. The food was also absolutely amazing! Thank you Ann, Linda, and staff!

Moulin Events was a dream wedding venue. From the space, to the staff and the food, everything was simply amazing and exceeded all our expectations. Upon our first tour, we fell in love with the building. It offers so many different rooms and restaurants; we knew it would be perfect for our ceremony, reception and the after-party. What you don’t see reviewing the amazing space, is the spectacular event coordinator who was our right hand during all of wedding planning. Ann was truly an amazing event coordinator to work with; She was attentive, professional and had all the right recommendations. She really put our minds at ease and we had nothing to worry about. The venue on our wedding day was better than we could had ever imagined. Ann and her team seriously did the best job decorating and making our dream wedding come to life. The staff was nothing short of amazing on our wedding day. Linda, you also truly outdid yourself on our wedding day. She really made sure we had EVERYTHING we needed from a drink refill, to cake to take home and enjoy the next day, to making sure everything got packed up and loaded into our parent’s car and much more. We really mean it when we say we got to enjoy our wedding day to the fullest because the staff at Moulin took care of everything for us. We love hearing how much our friends and family enjoyed our wedding venue too. We have received numerous compliments about the staff, the food and the venue itself. To everyone at Moulin – thank you for making everything perfect. We wouldn’t have changed a thing about our wedding day. We highly recommend the venue (like really – no regrets) and we can’t wait to use Moulin for future events!

It’s been 7 months since my daughter’s wedding (October 21, 2017), and I can’t believe I’ve waited so long to write this review. But, in the last week, I’ve had 3 people tell me once again how much they enjoyed the reception we hosted at Moulin Events. I’ve done Ann and her staff a disservice by not publicly praising them sooner. When we began looking at reception venues, I thought that Moulin Events might be out of our price range. We had toured several other places, and my daughter and her fiance were happy with one of the other venues which would have been much less money. However, as soon as I saw the Centennial Ballroom at Moulin, I knew that was the place! My husband was as taken by the character of the space as I was. The exposed brick and original wood floors were exactly what we were wanting. I quickly discovered that the cost for having a truly full service venue was well worth it! Ann was amazing to work with, and she helped us through all of the decisions with ease. She saved me so much time and effort, and yes, even money, by providing services that would have cost extra from the vendors. I’m a bit of a control freak, but I was very comfortable handing over the responsibilities to Ann and her staff. She did not disappoint! The menu tasting was fun and incredible! We were able to put together a seasonally appropriate and utterly delicious menu. The hardest part was deciding between all the wonderful choices! Everyone raved about the food afterwards. The service was spot on, and everything ran smoothly. We had a slight mishap during the cocktail hour when a beach ball that the DJ had brought for the kids went out of control and hit the cafe lights, bringing down a string of lights and breaking a couple of them. After the boys were safely removed from the mess, the staff stepped in and had the glass cleaned up and the string back in place in less than 5 minutes. Most of the guests didn’t even know anything was amiss. And yes, Ann made sure the beach ball was put away for good. Linda was a doll and took care of all of us, but especially my daughter and son-in-law. She made sure they ate and stayed hydrated. She delivered appetizers to our table and the groom’s parents table and made sure we had dessert to take home with us. At the end of the evening, Ann and her staff got our keys and our cars were packed up while we waited downstairs in the bar with the pizzas we ordered from PW Pizza before they closed. No cleaning or packing up for us. We didn’t have to recruit family and friends to help us. We just got to enjoy the end of the evening. It was a perfectly magical night. We were so happy that we chose Moulin. We have been receiving compliments steadily for 7 months. I’ve had people tell me it was the best reception they’ve ever attended. We highly recommend Moulin Events!

We could not have imagined a better wedding! Everything at Moulin was stunningly beautiful! Ann Jones and her team made our night flawless!! Everything was so easy, from the planning process, setting up, and over all smooth flow of our wedding day. We are still getting compliments from our friends and family on how beautiful and fun our wedding was. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone!! What a night to remember

From our initial meeting and tour with Ann, we knew we had found the perfect spot for our reception. The space alone was beautiful (we used Centennial Ballroom for about 210 guests), and exactly the city building with character we were looking for. The layout was perfect, using the Lafayette and Napoleon rooms for cocktail hour before moving guests in to the ballroom for dinner. The part that really had us sold were the people that work here. After our initial meeting with Ann, I knew I was in the best hands. She was so inviting, fun, professional, and knew the ins and outs of the reception process. She is the wedding planner/coordinator you didn't know you needed! You can tell she has really seen it all with weddings and receptions!! Throughout the process (1.5 years) she was extremely responsive and available for any questions or concerns I had. I never had any doubt that the reception would be perfect and what I had envisioned. On the day of, Moulin set up my decor exactly how I wanted, so we never had to lift a finger. They also coordinated with all my vendors (cake, DJ, etc.) so I never had to double check anything. The food was fabulous. They ran the reception like a well-oiled machine. I cannot say enough good things about Linda, who made our families so comfortable and welcome the day of reception. She was there for anything we needed. It truly is the people and staff of Moulin who made our reception go so smoothly. I would recommend Moulin to anyone and everyone for a reception or any type of event!! Thank you Moulin!

This venue is incredible! I cannot express enough how great Ann and her team were to work with. From the ceremony to the reception to the after party everything was flawless, and I was at ease knowing I was in good hands.

We had the best time at our wedding!!! Alex made our ceremony and reception so special! We had our ceremony in the Chouteau room and it was gorgeous. It's the perfect space for a ceremony of 100-150 people. We then had our reception in the Malt House Cellar downstairs. This is the coolest place ever!! The reception was perfect for our "cocktail" themed party. The food was amazing, the ambiance was perfect for a wedding, and the bartenders were great! Alex, our coordinator, and Dawn, our attendant, were the best!! Everyone needs to check this place out immediately!

My husband and I knew we wanted a reception in the city! We looked all over and our minds kept coming back to Moulin events because of the amazing reviews. The exposed brick and wood floors were the rustic urban feel we were looking for! Ann and her assistant made all the planning and organizing so easy and fun for us! The tasting and organizing of our day was so fun for us and our mothers! We felt like Ann was family! You do not need a day of coordinator or a wedding planner with Ann Jones by your side! I gave her all my decorations and she set the hall up for us making it perfect on our wedding day! This made the whole wedding planning so stress-free and fun! Ann is very prompt on her emails with any questions you may have (big or small). The food on top of everything was amazing as well (better than any other wedding food I have tasted in the past). Her assistant (sorry I forgot her name) was amazing to me on the dance floor! She made sure I always had a drink in hand! Her and Ann also bustled my dress for me as I was greeting guests. I cannot even begin to describe how INCREDIBLE the even planning staff is!! My husband and I had our wedding reception there in July and everything was absolutely perfect! We moved out of state during the planning process so we squished everything down into only two meetings. They were very respectful of our time and budget and went ABOVE AND BEYOND in every aspect of the planning! The reception was so well taken care of and it was a HUGE weight off my shoulders! The day of could not have been better. As a couple we were assigned someone to just help serve us. We arrived by the back entrance a little early for our big entrance and they were so great! They helped me bustle my dress, provided snacks, water and a random much needed cup of coffee for me. Throughout the entire night they made sure we had food to eat, water to drink and checked in with the DJ regularly to make sure everything went smoothly. We also had a smores bar which was a HUGE hit and was manned by staff the whole time! If you want a beautiful stress free wedding with the best food you've had then Moulin is perfect for you.

If you are looking for a venue that will go above and beyond, this is definitely it - Moulin is AMAZING!! Our wedding was supposed to be 9/15/17 in West Palm Beach, Florida, but with the path Hurricane Irma was taking we knew that probably wouldn't happen. The week before I started calling venues in St. Louis explaining the situation and Moulin was the only venue willing to work with us (even with stating we were waiting two days to make the final call). Ann was truly a lifesaver and I cannot thank her and the staff enough for pulling this off and making our dream wedding come true! Although we were expecting a beach wedding, everything was PERFECT! I would recommend this venue to anyone and everyone getting married in the St. Louis area!!

I can not say enough good things about the Moulin. From the time my husband and I walked into the ceremony and reception space, we knew it was the one. The spaces are beautiful, with hardwood floors and exposed brick walls. Ann was great to work with and was extremely organized throughout the entire planning process. She took care of coordinating the set-up with the other vendors and was very prompt in response to email. The day of the wedding went extremely smoothly, not a single hiccup. We stayed right on time and everyone knew exactly where to go. Linda (the bridal assistant) is amazing! She made sure our bridal party had everything they needed- it almost seemed like she could read our minds. My husband got icing on his suit jacket sleeve during the “donut cutting” and the next thing I know, Linda is scrubbing his jacket with soda water. Not only were Ann and Linda great to work with, the food was also fantastic! We received compliments after the wedding from guests stating it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding. I would definitely recommend Moulin Events for anyone looking for a great venue. The staff is experienced and really made the wedding planning process less stressful. Thank you for a great day!

It is so hard to put into words the great service we received from Moulin Events. After what seemed like an endless, difficult search of venues in the St. Louis area, we finally met Ann at Moulin and our decision seemed way too easy. She instantly becomes an old friend who truly wants you to have the best day ever. Never did she seem annoyed or strictly business with us. Linda was exactly the same way. She was hilarious and personable. Both Ann and Linda put their heart into making sure their customers have the best experience. I have received so many compliments on the venue and food. It was worth every penny! The prices are comparable to other venues. I was just amazed at how every employee was going above and beyond for our guests that night. I could go on and on. I would like to first admit that I have never written a review…EVER! However, this venue is beyond amazing and deserves a ton of credit for making our wedding day perfection. Ann Jones, the wedding coordinator at Moulin Events is amazing. From our first meeting to the day of our wedding, Ann was on top of everything. She guided us throughout the entire process…for over a year! The rustic and urban decor of this building is beautiful. This building has exposed beams, brick and stone. We had our ceremony in the Chouteau Room with our reception immediately following in the Jefferson Ballroom. We had around 120 guests and the space was perfect. We had succulents, chalkboard signs, lanterns, and a handmade altar that was 8ft tall. She and her staff set everything up for us...literally everything! We did not have to worry about anything! On the day of our wedding we were given a room to come back and cool off in before our ceremony. We had food and drinks waiting for us and the entire wedding party! This was a lifesaver as we got married in July and did first looks and outdoor pictures before. The ceremony went off without a single hitch. She was great with our nieces and nephew, getting them to participate and walk down the aisle. The reception was beyond our expectations. Her staff catered to every one of our guests needs. Not a single guest had an empty drink the entire night. The food was the best wedding food I’ve ever had! The flank steak was so tender we could cut it with just a fork. The chicken was extremely moist and incredibly tender as well. We had a live band and they fit perfectly in the Jefferson Ballroom! My husband and I did sunset pictures on the Vin de Set rooftop and these are some of our favorite pictures. It was because of Ann, Linda, additional Moulin staff, that we were able to get these pictures! Also, I want to recognize Linda, as she catered to my husband and I the entire evening. Always making sure we had everything we needed, most of the time without ever asking! She was also in charge of our pack up and loading at the end of the night. She and her staff loaded mine and my mother’s cars at the end of the night. We did not have to do anything but give her our car keys! After she and the staff were finished loading, she brought me our keys in 21st Street Brewery, which is where we were all hanging out! I seriously cannot say enough about Moulin Events! This venue made our wedding PERFECT!! Every single staff member enjoyed the night and was truly happy to assist in making our wedding the best night ever. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone getting married! You will not be disappointed!

A hidden gem in St. Louis! We received some many compliments on the venue. We worked with Ann throughout the process and she was an absolute dream. I was a very unorganized bride as I was in nursing school mid-wedding planning, but Ann was able to get me focused and filled in all the missing details. Any little hiccup that arose throughout the evening, Ann handled and everything was just perfect. Not to mention, you get your own bridal attendant who makes sure you get food, drink, and time to relax throughout the night. Linda was a Godsend! Thank you Ann, Linda and the rest of the Moulin team for making our reception so beautiful!

Every detail has been thought of and every effort is made to accommodate their guests. The venue is stunning, and speaks for itself in my opinion, but what you don't know until you experience it is the full package of amazingness that Moulin delivers. Ann Jones is beyond qualified as the wedding specialist. She is organized, caring, flexible, motivated...and I not only thank her tremendously for her hard work but I respect her for how well she takes care of business while maintaining the celebratory spirit. Moulin Events was more than we could have ever hoped for. We were able to work with Ann through the whole process. She would consistently respond to every question and worry within 24 hours or less. I loved that Moulin took care of so much and with such ease. Moulin Events not only includes catering, set up, take down and rentals but the immense bonus of a wedding planner. Ann was more than amazing. We had so much fun in our wedding and everything went smoothly because of Moulin's staff. Come here for your wedding! I hope to attend more here in the future.

We had our wedding reception at Moulin on 1/28/17. Ann, the coordinator, made everything super easy. All of the planning, details, etc. seemed overwhelming at first, but Ann walked us through everything and was very easy to get a hold of for questions during the process. The food was fantastic, the space is really neat (dark hardwood plank floor, exposed brick walls), and everyone had a great time. Guests enjoyed the convenience of the 21st Street tavern in the basement after the reception. Would highly recommend this space!

My Partner and I had our reception at Moulin Events 6 months ago. They were amazing! Linda and Ann provided incredible hospitality in particular with kids and older guests. The reception ran smoothly, Ann and Linda kept everything on schedule and made sure that our guests had a delightful night. We would highly recommend them to anyone.

My fiance and I were in love with the venue...until we spoke to the person there. I can't be bothered to remember her name because I am never going back. Every time I had a question I was given the answer as though I were an idiot or a "we spoke about this in the email" when I mever received a detailed email. Decided to go with an equally lovely place right down the street. Why pay for impolite staffing/coordinators?

My husband and I had our reception in the Jefferson Ballroom at Moulin events. The room has so much character and is so romantic there isn't much more you have to do to decorate it. We worked with Ann and she was amazing! We actually choose the venue primarily based on our experience with Ann. She was so helpful and always had great tips and advice for maximizing our experience. She was super flexible and went above and beyond to help us get the celebration that we were looking for. overall we had an absolutely amazing experience!

It was love at first site with this venue. We had our wedding on October 1, 2016 in the Centennial Ballroom. The room itself is gorgeous without decorations. We did not have to do a lot to decorate, which was great! Ann is an absolute delight to work with. We have never met someone so enthusiastic about their job. She is passionate and she knows what she is doing! She was so easy to work with and took all of our ideas and brought it to life. Oh, let's mention to the food! We have been to many weddings, and food is always a key point to a reception. The food is amazing!!! We got many compliments about how delicious everything was. Our reception was from 6-10pm, so some of us who wanted to party more, just went downstairs to the 21st street brewers bar! Everything was fantastic and convenient.

We had an absolutely wonderful time here. The staff were very courteous and they did a great job getting our event set up and underway. The space was beautiful and great for a wedding with around 130 guests.

Everyone on the Moulin staff was great to work with and the event space was so perfect for our rehearsal dinner! Alex made everything so easy and was incredibly responsive to all of the details and changes I needed. Our rehearsal dinner went off without a hitch and was completely gorgeous!

My daughter and her fiance were looking for a venue that was different from the traditional hotel ballroom. The rooms have beautiful hardwood floors and brick walls. The Malt House Cellar with it's stone walls and brick archways is stunning. The lounge area at one end with an awesome bar and fireplace and the game room at the other end is incredible. We made a special request for a sugar-free dessert bar for our guests on a sugar free diet. We were blown away with 3 -4 wonderful dessert options including brownies. We also had the s'mores bar which was fabulous. Still receiving compliments on the assortment of chocolates on the s'mores bar. When we arrived, the room was setup just as we expected. Ann and Alex went above and beyond in walking us thru the whole process; from pre-contract, contract, tasting and the event itself. The chefs, bartenders and entire staff were great. I have received so many compliments about the food and the entire space; including best reception they've ever been to. Absolutely amazing and flawless for the entire reception. Highly recommend for any event and this was perfect for my daughter and her husband.

My husband and I had our rehearsal dinner through Moulin Events in the Billiards Room. The room was perfect for our group. It was nice to have a more relaxed rehearsal dinner with darts, billiards, and shuffle board instead of the typical sit down dinner. The food was wonderful!! Along with passed appetizers and a dessert station, we also had the sirloin sliders and the crab cake sliders. Both were delicious!! Last but not least, the staff is amazing!! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Alex, the events manager, is so organized and had everything under control from the very beginning. Our wedding reception was the utmost experience we could have ever had . From the beginning of planning over a year ago until the wedding night, everything was exceptional! The thoroughness from our coordinator , Ann, was impeccable ! Every detail was beyond our expectations . The quality of food, service, and overall experience was amazing . Our guests from in town from out of town raved of the venue and their experience . Our only regret is that it is over. We highly recommend The Moulin for a totally gratifying experience ! We hosted our son and daughter-in-law's rehearsal dinner in The Malt House Cellar and it was the perfect venue for the event. We live 6 hours away and Alex was fantastic in helping us from our initial phone call through the dinner itself. The menu provided innumerable options and price points for both the appetizers and the dinner. They also provided a very nice vegetarian option for 2 of the attendees. The staff that worked our function was very helpful and made us feel comfortable. They took care of everything. For my family and friends that attended, it was a truly enjoyable and memorable night. From my initial contact with Moulin in January 2015 to the end of my wedding night on July 9, 2016, everything was a dream. This venue knows what they're doing. We wanted a venue that could host both our ceremony and reception. With an estimated guest list of 140, Ann (the on-site wedding coordinator) suggested the Chouteau Room for our ceremony and the Jefferson Ballroom for our reception. We made an appointment to view the space and we were floored. It is beautiful. I was born and raised in St. Louis City, and Moulin just felt like home with all the brick, stone, and impeccable woodwork throughout. We were sold immediately. Ann was so easy to work with throughout the entire process. I pride myself with being organized, almost to a fault at times, and was a little worried that whatever venue we ended up choosing would fall short of my expectations. Ann actually exceeded my expectations -- She is on her game! We scheduled a tasting a few months before the wedding and we were blown away. The food and its presentation is amazing. Fast-forward to the wedding day and we were blown away yet again. Ann had previously contacted each of our vendors and arranged drop-off/set-up with them, which meant less for this bride to do! The ceremony in the Chouteau Room was so unique. The chairs were arranged in a semi-circle with an aisle down the middle. It felt so intimate and we loved that! The food at the reception in the Jefferson Ballroom was spectacular and the guests had a wonderful time. My husband and I were taken care of by Linda and she was just great to have there for whatever we needed. She provided us with a platter of appetizers from the cocktail hour as well as a platter of our wedding cake to make sure we were able to enjoy all the tastes. She even fixed my dress bustle when it came undone. The entire event (ceremony + reception) was set up just as we had imagined, and breaking everything down at the end of the night was so easy since the staff did it for us. We are so grateful for the amazing staff, food, and ambiance that created such a memorable experience for us. We 100% recommend this venue.

I would give Moulin six stars if I could. We held our ceremony and reception at Moulin and it truly was perfect! The ceremony and reception space were both beautiful and needed minimal decoration. The food was delicious. The in-house wedding planner, Ann, is a dream! She made the planning process easy. She arranged all decorations, coordinated with the other vendors, and had us fully confident everything would go off without a hitch. She was able to roll with the punches and even accommodate a few last minute requests (literally last minute). On the wedding day itself, Ann and her staff handled everything! Linda, our bridal attendant, made sure I had a drink in my hand all night, made sure I ate (cake magically appeared on our table), and took care of the immediate family as well. At the end of the night, I was getting ready to pack up and she had already done so! Moulin offers a complimentary level of service that you will not find at other wedding venues. WOW! We had our wedding and reception here on May 14, 2016. Our ceremony was in the Chouteau Room, followed by cocktails and appetizers in the Napoleon and Lafayette rooms, and ended in the ballroom for the reception. Ann Jones was our wedding coordinator, and she was ON IT! She made my life so easy, and responded to my many emails quickly. She was in constant communication with us, and was willing to work with us on our budget. The actual day of the wedding, Linda and Ann were both on site to help us, and I could not give them enough credit for everything they did. They seemed to know what I needed before I did, which was a welcome relief in the chaos of the day. My entire wedding party, as well as both sets of parents, were all floored with the amount of attention that was given to us. The ceremony spot was beautiful. We were married in the afternoon, so the sun was shining in, but the blinds were closed so our guests weren't blinded. Ann had everything set up exactly to my specifications, which was a relief. The appetizers we chose for the cocktail hour were the BBQ bacon wrapped shrimp, chicken and waffle bites, and the chicken tortilla cups. People were amazed at the food and staff before the reception even started. Food was hot and drinks were cold. The bartenders made the drinks perfectly... not light, but not too stiff either. The reception could not have been more perfect. When we entered the reception, Linda was kind enough to make sure that the head table had a plate of appetizers waiting for us (we were taking pictures during that time). For our meal choices, we had Chicken Herb de Provence, Grilled flatiron steak, and the stuffed portobello. Our sides were the browned butter mashed potatoes and asparagus. The wedding party got the steak, and we had requested that it be prepared medium. I always get nervous ordering steak in a public place because they tend to miss the medium mark completely, but I was proved wrong here. Everyone raved about the food, and I was thrilled with how delicious everything was. The chef even came out of the kitchen to thank us for choosing Moulin, which I thought was a great touch. At one point during the reception, my husband and I both wanted Red Bulls, but there was none in the building. We were perfectly fine and were going to choose something else, but Linda left the building and went to the gas station down the street to make sure that we got what we wanted. If that isn't going above and beyond, I don't know what is! They even loaded up my parents' car at the end of the night so my parents wouldn't have to worry about it. I cannot say enough great things about this venue. The views were gorgeous, and the food was impeccable. If you choose this venue for your reception, ceremony, or both, you will NOT be disappointed!

We had our wedding at Moulin Events on September 12, 2015. We saw the Malt House Cellar and Lafayette Room and fell in love with the venue. Ann was so easy to work with and made everything run so smooth the day of the wedding. I cant say enough about her and the staff they were amazing!!! My guest still talk about how beautiful the space was and how delicious the food was. I would highly recommend Moulin Events-they made the day perfect!!!

We had our wedding at Moulin Events on 10/02/15. We started working with a different rep who left the company and Ann took over without missing a beat. The planning process went smooth and Ann was a great help keeping us on track and making suggestions about things we overlooked. She really knows her stuff. Plus, she is a lot of fun to work with. We had our ceremony in the Chouteau room and our reception in the Jefferson Ballroom. The ceremony was lovely and we were able to create our own backdrop they hung for us. We were able to easily hook up our phone to play our ceremony music through their speaker system too. It really help to customize our ceremony. Ann was great at coordinating things between our wedding planner and our vendors. We had passed hors d'oeuvres for an hour and a half(we chose jerk chicken flatbread, paella bites and mini sirloin sliders). They were all awesome and our guests raved about them. For the main course we had shrimp street noodles, orange chicken and a veggie fried rice. It was all delicious. Ann and her team were really great about letting us customize what we wanted to make it ours - that was really important to us. The staff working our wedding was awesome too. I heard a lot of things from our guests about how polite and attentive everyone was. Linda, my bridal attendant, was especially great. I honestly didn't expect her service but she was there for me the entire event and she was excellent. The only thing that I would change- I wish I would have got to see the lighting before the ceremony. It was fine, but just brighter than the candlelit look I had wanted. We had an area that the bride and bridesmaids could get ready and that was wonderful. Plenty of space for hair/makeup and to change. We also had mimosa and snacks. After the reception ended, we had a little after party in the 21st Street Bar and it was great. They have a really pretty outdoor patio area with a fire pit. It was a fantastic day and the team at Moulin was wonderful. It is a beautiful space and they went above and beyond to let us make it ours for the day.

The day of the wedding everything at Moulin went as planned (unfortunately I can't say the same for some of my other vendors). Not only were they easy to work with leading up to the big day, but the staff (especially Linda!) went out of their way to make sure my husband I didn't have to worry about a thing and could concentrate on spending time with our family and friends. Moulin was not the least expensive venue that we considered, but it was definitely worth the extra cost for the beautiful space and awesome service. This was the first place we visited for our reception venue and fell in love immediately. We booked the Jefferson Ballroom and couldn't have been happier about our decision. Ann was amazing to work with, and she made the whole planning process so easy and stress-free. She even made it a point to visit us at our reception even though there were two other weddings she was helping with on the same day. Our attendant that night was Dawn, who was exceptional - anything we needed or wanted, she was there to help. The entire staff was fantastic and so accommodating. Our guests are still talking about how much they loved the venue and dinner, and so are we! We will definitely recommend Moulin and the staff to our family and friends.

We looked at a lot of venues but we fell in love with Malt House and I'm glad we did because I could not have imagined working with anyone else but her to plan our special day. The food was AMAZING!!! We did an hour of meats and cheese into passed appetizers and followed that with a burger slider bar. Of course dessert to finish. Every bite of food was consistent and beautifully presented. Honestly the best day of my life came true with the help of Moulin. We offered a unique experience to ours guests and we are proud to have thrown such a great cocktail reception that we know will be talked about for years to come!

After moving up our wedding date by almost a year, Moulin Events was the perfect partner to help my husband and I through the chaos. Our planner, Alex, was pretty much perfect. She attentive, helpful, prompt and pretty much made us feel like we were the only couple she was working with. Even as we changed the plan the week of and opted to have not only our reception, but also our ceremony in the space, Alex went above and beyond to make it work (even decorating the space to help take one more thing off my todo list). On the day of the event Alex and her team, Amanda and Dawn were flawless, making my husband and I feel stress free the entire night. Dawn was our attendant and made sure we both ate and had a drink in hand all night, even packing us a few togo boxes. We heard nothing but positive things from our guests about the bartenders, the staff and most importantly the food. The space itself was also, in our opinion, flawless. We held our reception in Malt House Cellar (in the basement) and guests really enjoyed the look and feel of it. I truly believe the best choice I made in getting married (besides my husband) was choosing Moulin Events for the venue and catering. In fact, I'd love it if a friend of our got married there so we could enjoy it as a guest now.

Ann makes tending to all the details as painless as possible - and they are very flexible and accomodating to what your particular needs are. I have a bit of OCD, so it was honestly hard for me to relinquish duties to someone else for such an important event, but they did not disappoint! Everything from the room, the food, the service...all of it was amazing! We received many compliments on the decor and the bartending staff (an important detail for my group of guests).
