Mountain Bay Banquet Center

We found the staff at Mountain Bay Banquet Conference Center very easy to work with. They were professional and courteous. We needed some special accommodations because my husband was in a wheelchair. They were able to completely meet his/our needs. I was very impressed at how well they were able to do this. They do require that you use their catering service, but the food is good and priced comparably with other caterers in the area. The site itself is much more affordable than many others, however it is attached to a bowling alley, so if that is something you would not want, this would not be the right site for you. Our party was not disturbed in any way by this fact. Overall, we were very happy with this venue. I gave service four stars because there was one mishap. When talking with the wedding coordinator, I arranged for a champagne toast with sparkling cider available to those who did not wish to have real champagne. Unfortunately, that coordinator left the position before our wedding, and the one that took over understood the instructions to read that we wanted only sparkling cider. This was not a big deal to us, we were still very happy with this site. In retrospect, it would have made sense to reconfirm all special requests/details with the new coordinator, but I think that I would do that at any venue now!
