We cannot thank MLC enough for catering our wedding. After our tasting I knew we had made the right choice and our guests wouldn’t go home hungry, what I wasn’t expecting was the countless comments after the wedding about how amazing the food was, how perfect the portion sizes were (not too big that you were tired but not too small that you were left hungry), how friendly and accommodating the wait and bar staff were, our guests couldn’t get enough! We were fortunate enough to have the opportunity to actually eat our meal during the wedding and all I have to say is that whether you are vegetarian or not, the polenta is a must try item. Jes was so kind and helped us through table setting discussions and helping my aunt with the cake set up the day of. It was so special that we were able to include my aunt (who is not a professional baker) in our wedding in that way and MLC made that seamless. The french fry bar was amazing at the end of the night and the appetizers were delicious. I love that MLC took the initiative to bring us some snacks right after the ceremony while we were taking pictures so no one got cranky. I could go on for days but there is a word count. If you are on the fence about MLC, we would say take the leap, you won’t be disappointed. Thank you so much to Jes & team for making our day so special and making it feel like we were the most important people on the planet that day!

When we told our other vendors we had MLC as our caterer, almost every single one made a comment about how we had the best catering company there is. I have to say, they were 100% correct. Throughout the planning process Ally was so responsive with all my questions and was really helpful with recommendations as well. During our tasting everyone was so nice and the excitement of wedding planning finally started to set in. On the day of our wedding, everything was perfect. The linens were exactly what we imagined and the FOOD!! My biggest wedding regret is that I could not eat more. All of our guests have been raving about the food and desserts for weeks. The bartenders had such a great energy and our guests commented on how funny they were. We had buffet style entrees, but the staff made sure to serve my husband and I at our sweetheart table and they were so sweet. I absolutely cannot recommend MLC enough!!

MLC was the best caterer we could have chosen for a wedding day! They are super responsive and easy to communicate from start to finish. The food is phenomenal and so many fun options to choose from to surprise your guests with! Our donut wall was an absolute hit! The team was absolutely wonderful the day of our wedding and made sure my husband and I had a drink in hand and food right away! For someone who never gets excited about wedding food, this caterer 100% changed my mind!

Mountain Laurel was an incredible caterer!! They were very easy to work with communicated well. The menu tasting was great and they were very helpful with adjusting our selections as we tasted everything. They were also extremely accommodating to allergies and the food the day of was fantastic!

If you’re planning a wedding in PA, NY, or NJ and need a caterer, RUN — don’t walk — to book Mountain Laurel. Not only is their food absolutely delicious, but their entire team is fantastic. I cannot say enough good things about our experience with MLC. They were a dream to work with — especially Ally H. Ally worked with my now husband and I to curate a menu throughout the day that was true to who we are — including the ordering and managing of all tabletop rentals. She was/is a rockstar and made something pretty stressful seem very manageable. Our guests RAVED about the food — and these were/are some very picky New Yorkers. MLC will truly bring your vision to life — whether you need Italian hoagies for a sentimental family moment, a cannoli-inspired dessert, a purple birthday cake for a family member, or a robust list of specialty cocktails. If you book MLC, make sure to include their pierogies at cocktail hour! They’re out of this world. MLC was the first vendor we booked after reading some rave reviews and they did not disappoint. From the first phone call, to our tasting, to the day-of — they did everything they could to make sure we were heard, and that our wishes — no matter how wild — became reality.

Absolutely incredible!! I’m blown away by how amazing Mountain Laurel Catering was to work with. Our wedding was a summer sunset vibe and the food matched our vibe perfectly. They created our custom menu and we barely made any changes. We had a plated meal and it was served hot and quickly to our guests. Everyone raved about how delicious it was! I was completely blown away and I can’t thank them enough. The staff was also so kind and welcoming! Especially Ally! I cannot thank that kind woman enough! I definitely annoyed her with countless emails and she was so kind and helpful throughout the whole process. They say wedding food is mediocre at best, but not when you book these guys! THANK YOU!

I can't say enough good things about Mountain Laurel Catering. We chose them as the caterer for our wedding and they absolutely knocked it out of the park. They were welcoming, helpful, and thoughtful throughout the entire planning process. Our rep, Ally, was absolutely amazing to work with and so patient with us as we were trying to decide our meal selections and table layouts. Day of services at the wedding were fantastic. They were attentive and kind, making sure that not only just me and my husband, but all of our guests and VIPs were cared for the entire day. The food was outstanding, and we're still receiving compliments from all of our friends and family. We also used Mountain Laurel for our wedding cake and dessert, and it was delicious! Cannot recommend them enough. They really go the extra mile above other catering companies that I've encountered at other weddings.

Mountain Laurel Catering is the most incredible catering company I have worked with. Besides having food that is better than a 5 star restaurant, they are extremely organized, dedicated to making your day a success, and genuinely kind human beings. I had multiple issues last minute during my wedding month with guests dropping out of the wedding and they always were there to help me, and always were flexible with me allowing my day to be a success. Their organization keeps your wedding on the perfect timeline and I never felt confused or unclear with what I needed to do. All of my guests raved about their food, their incredible bartenders and drink service. Everyone said that they never were waiting for food and nobody left hungry! They brought trays of food for my husband and I and we never felt underfed ourselves throughout our wedding day. They are an incredible company and I would recommend them to anyone!

My husband Dakota and I could not recommend Mountain Laurel Catering more! The staff were absolutely phenomenal at our wedding. They were so attentive, polite, and efficient. The food was fresh and delicious, and many of our wedding guests said it was the best food they had been served at a wedding ever! We also utilized their bartending staff and heard great things from our guests about them! Meanwhile the other employees were so mindful of me that I didn’t even need to go to the bar, they were willing to bring me a drink wherever I was. If I had had the time, I would have gone around and thanked every employee individually because of how impressed we were.

We loved working with Mountain Laurel Catering for our wedding! From the very beginning, they were always incredibly responsive to all of our questions. We were coordinating a cross-country wedding, so they worked with us to arrange a tasting at a time that worked and responded to all our emails incredibly quickly. No question or comment was too small. When the day itself came, the food was amazing and guests couldn’t stop commenting. They made sure that we were eating and well taken care of, as well as all of our guests. Cannot recommend them highly enough!

From start to finish, Mountain Laurel was an amazing caterer. My husband and I worked with Ally...and she was the best. She helped us schedule our tasting, design our menu, pick linens, and much more. The servers, bartenders, and other staff members were kind, friendly, and efficent. Mountain Laurel hands down made the best food we had ever had at a wedding. Jess worked with us extensively to create an amazing menu that we were obsessed with and that the guests absolutely loved. They covered everything from welcome drink stations, butlered appetizers, a charcuterie table, dinner, and desserts! At the wedding itself, their staff were incredibly kind and helpful and made sure the wedding party got to enjoy all the cocktail goodies as well. 10/10 recommend!

They were INCREDIBLE!!! The presentation was beautiful and the food was even better! We had a big wedding (250ish people) and everyone got served in a timely manner/didn't have to wait long for drinks. The number of plated options they had to choose from was WILD. They gave us really good advice to help us finalize the menu! It was DELISIOUS. To this day, our friends still talk about our apps. The GRILLED CHEESE AND TOMATO SOUP SHOOTERS really stole the show! My husband and I are HUGE foodies and they did not disappoint one bit! They even brought apps and drinks to my fam/bridal party after the ceremony as we took pictures so we didn't miss a thing. The service was truly above and beyond every step of the way. All of the tables and ancillary tables look amazing. They were so easy to work with, super responsive, and very kind. 1000000000% recommend to anyone! Jess Mosser IS THE BEST.

Mountain Laurel Catering did an absolutely incredible job at our wedding. The food was absolutely delicious, and all of our guests couldn't stop raving about it. We had a great tasting with them beforehand, where they were very attentive to our needs and preferences. They did a great job of making sure that the menu overall reflected our story. Mountain Laurel Catering is exceptional! My husband and I are still getting complements about the food at our wedding and it was weeks ago! My husband is a foodie and so when looking for a caterer, we wanted to make sure that we did not have the “typical” wedding food. We wanted people to be full and satisfied when hitting the dance floor. Mountain Laurel knew exactly how to do that. All of our guests were amazed with the different entree options that they had - the Short Ribs are still being talked about in households up and down the east coast. Everyone tells you to remember to eat on your wedding day and Mountain Laurel made sure of that! They brought us our own separate tray of hors d'oeuvres that we ate before meeting our guests in cocktail hour. When it came to dinner, they made sure that we had our meals first and kept checking in on us to make sure we were well fed. We are so grateful and happy that mountain laurel was apart of our special day! Jess Moser was amazing through the whole process from start to finish and made sure our vision came true!

Mountain Laurel Catering is the BEST! We loved working with Jess to plan our wedding menu. She was easy to work with and answered all of our questions! The staff was so great and attentive the day of. They made sure that we didn’t miss out on any of the amazing food. They even delivered us a plate of the cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres while we were taking pictures. The food was incredible!!! Our wedding was about a month ago and guests still tell us how much they loved all of the food at our wedding. We are so thankful for everything they did to make our day amazing, and we can’t recommend them enough!!

We had MLC cater our wedding on 9/23 as they were one of the preferred vendors at our venue, Harvest View. Let me start by saying the food was absolutely amazing! We had guests all weekend long tell us how much they loved the food, particularly the short ribs and our grilled cheese shooter appetizer. The fact that people raved about it days later, you know it's good! They were extremely accommodating to allergies and dietary restrictions as well. I'm vegan as well as a few of our guests and there weren't any problems finding appetizer and meal options in their vast menu to accommodate. As well, they were able to tweak individual plates based on allergies. Our guests really appreciated this. Ally was great to work with. Although some communication took a few days to hear from her (months out from our date not days out), once we heard from her, she was super accommodating with all our requests as we changed the menu more than a few times up until two weeks prior to the wedding. The main problem we had came from the Bartenders. If we could give just the bartenders 0 stars we probably would. We had signature cocktails for our wedding in which we practiced and perfected the recipes at home a dozen times prior to providing them with the recipes. The alcohol quantity we had purchased was based on them following our recipes and using the amount of alcohol per cocktail we had instructed. We did not have liquor available for guests outside of the two cocktails to chose from. The Bartenders decided to use their own recipes and ignore everything we had set out for them. They over poured everything to the point that they ran out of liquor just after dinner service, meaning that guests could not get cocktails following dinner or the rest of the evening. Most of our additional ingredients, however, were returned to us (bitters, simple syrup) as if they hadn't used them at all and just poured straight liquor into our drinks. We also had a few guests tell us that the Bartenders were complaining to them (our guests!) about us and running out of alcohol. It was extremely unprofessional and not something a bride and groom want to hear. We happened to attend a wedding two weeks after ours in which MLC also catered and we saw the same problems from the Bartenders. Their signature cocktails were not executed how intended, the liquor drinks were filled to the brim with liquor with barely a splash of mixer, old fashioneds were made with club soda, and the one male bartender was complaining to us about not knowing how to make the cocktails. If it were possible to have outside bartenders, MLC would be a 5 star vendor. However, our terrible experience with the bartenders brings down their rating in our opinion.

First, the team at MLC is truly special. I cannot put into words just how incredible every single person was. They were all so genuine, kind, attentive, and hard working. The execution was seamless. I wish I could have gotten every single person's name to shout them out and thank them personally, but I did get Tyler's and he was beyond incredible. Truly out of this world. The hospitality he delivered with such genuine kindness and care left us speechless. Every guest raved about how insanely attentive and nice every single person working was. Every single person on the team went above and beyond to look after us. The MLC team truly made the day even better. I could write a dissertation on how insanely delicious the food was as well. In addition to raving about the incredible service, the food was the talk of the evening. From start to finish every single bite of every single item was phenomenal. We had guests declaring it was not only the best wedding dinner they've ever had, but some of the best food they've ever had, period. We've been getting sweet messages all weekend raving about it and people wishing they could eat their dinners all over again. It was perfect.

If you are looking for food to blow your guests away then you have found your answer. One of the first things my husband and I said to each other in the planning process was that our food needed to be top notch, and not just the cocktail hour. And let me tell you mountain laurel delivered. The crew was also fantastic to work with. We knew from the beginning that we wanted to have a raw oyster bar at the wedding and they made all of it happen, with oysters from PEI. I am still dreaming of that rosemary focaccia bread with the lavender honey butter.

Mountain Laurel was an excellent choice for our one year late in person wedding reception. They were accommodating for any dietary restriction and said accommodation were just as delicious as the primary offering. They were extremely professional, a pleasure to work with, and brought in top notch staff. I would definitely recommend them for your event and hope someone else local does so I can eat their food again.

From start to finish Mountain Laurel was the absolute best. Quick and easy communication, accommodating for dietary restrictions and flexible with menu changes. They created a completely personalized custom wedding menu to fit our exact reds and specifications. Not only was the presentation beautiful but the food was delicious! Mountain Laurel catered a fundraising event. It was a high ticket event, and logistics required that we serve buffet style. Guests raved about the serve and the food. Preparation and presentation were beautiful. Servers were attentive and professional. Bartenders were friendly. We highly recommend them and would hire them again for our next event!

Mountain laurel was amazing to work with! They were so patient as we made many changes to the menu and had some last minute switches with guests suddenly able to attend or not attend. They were patient and gracious and the food was literally amazing. I come from a family of New York Italians, so high quality food was very much expected, and it was certainly delivered! Jess M. was wonderful to work with and everyone we interacted with was great! Guests were so pleased with the food!

Mountain Laurel was a dream to work with throughout the entire process leading up to the wedding, but everything about them blew me away on our actual wedding day. The food was absolutely amazing and I heard from so many guests that we had some of the best food they've had at a wedding (especially those cheese steak eggrolls). But considering that the day was a blur to me and I barely remember eating, what I remembered most was how kind and responsive the staff were, from the moment they got there. We had staff check on us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed, and there was so much attention to detail. Overall their entire team was amazing to work with from the day we signed the contract to the end of the wedding day, I honestly could not recommend them enough!

Phenomenal! They are so kind and very easy to work with (especially with us having had to reschedule a year out because of covid) and their food is AMAZING! From first contact I knew MLC was who we wanted to cater our wedding. They were responsive, helpful, and understanding throughout the entire process. They made a custom menu for us and let us make any changes needed throughout the planning process. Jes was so helpful and easy to work with! I had a lot of questions and she was always available to answer. Most of all, the food was DELICIOUS! Our guests were raving, especially about the cheesesteak egg rolls at cocktail hour! People have such negative connotations about wedding food and MLC proves them all wrong. Food was hot, delicious, and presented beautifully. People came up to us saying how impressed they were with the MLC staff and how friendly they were. I have absolutely nothing to complain about and would hire them again in a heartbeat. If you're reading this and looking for your wedding caterer, trust me and go with them!

Your staff noticed that majority of people were hanging outside and immediately adapted and started walking drinks out to people instead of having them walk inside to the bar. As someone “in the food service biz” this is something I noticed… an unexpected personal touch! We have received an overwhelming amount of compliments on the food from our guests. Especially the bread, strawberry butter, flank steak, meatball appetizer, mini pecan pies and have heard things like “the best wedding cake we’ve ever had.” We have received even more positive feedback on the professional service of your staff. Mountain Laurel Catering was a dream to work with over the past two years. They are a preferred vendor at our venue and after tasting another vendors food and meeting with all the options, hiring MLC to cater our wedding was a no brainer. They are professional but approachable and their food is second to none! Farm to table, fresh and happy to customize however we'd like. We had to reschedule our wedding and when our guest count came up short this past year they worked with us to add in a late night station rather than just paying for meals we didn't need. One of the bartenders created a cocktail that tons of guests were raving about. All in all hiring MLC is money VERY well spent! I can't thank Jess, Sarah and the entire team enough for making our day a perfect one!

Worth. Every. Single. Penny and then some. Working with Mountain Laurel Catering was a dream. As someone who had multiple family members with food allergies/intolerances (including the groom and MOG) it was extremely important for my husband and I to find a caterer who not only understood the importance, but could also offer variety and great flavor even with restrictions. Our hors d’oeuvres were out of this world, main course was outstanding, and the service…a god send. The entire staff is professional, organized and a dream to work with. Sarah was so personable and even made sure to send us off with an extra meal, which we enjoyed on our first date night in as husband and wife, I can’t tell you how much this meant to us. Choosing Mountain Laurel might just be the best vendor decision you make. No boring wedding food here!

Mountain Laurel was the absolute best choice for us for our wedding day at Historic Acres of Hershey. We had no idea where to start to find a caterer. We narrowed it down by pricing and which options had the most aesthetically pleasing pictures in their reviews. I promise you that Mountain Laurels product will look even more beautiful in person once you see it. Not only did everything look great, but it tasted amazing and our guests are still raving about it- especially the pork belly & mac and cheese bites. From our signature cocktails to our late night pretzel bar, we had our menu completely and one hundred percent customized to us. When we wanted to make changes on it they were always prompt and professional in guiding us with our choices. My biggest rave about them though is how helpful they were on the day of our wedding. The day is so overwhelming and goes by so quickly, but the staff came up to my husband and I so frequently to just check on us. They brought us drinks and did whatever we needed to make our day run more smoothly. Their biggest concern was making sure we were accommodated. We had a few hiccups due to a wind storm right before our ceremony, and the staff was so professional and made all the last minute changes they needed too without making us feel stressed over it. I have no regrets in choosing Mountain Laurel. Thank you all so much for making our day so special!!

We used Mountain Laurel Catering for our wedding on June 23rd and our food was outstanding! They were very accommodating in planning our menu to help create the type of event we wanted. We loved the opportunity to attend the tasting event beforehand! On our wedding day the staff was friendly and professional. They even made sure I had food brought to me up in the bridal suite! I hired Mountain Lauren Catering for my wedding day and they did not disappoint! All of our guests raved about our food, they were very helpful and friendly the day of the wedding, and we also loved doing the tasting they set up! It was a great experience overall. We also did the desert package with them which included a small 2 tier cake. I wasn't expecting anything significant for the cake but it was SO GOOD! My husband and I were planning on keeping the top layer for our one year anniversary but then ended up eating most of it at home because it was too good! lol

MLC's incredible food is perhaps rivaled only by their extraordinary patience. Because delicious but ethical food was a priority for us, MLC was the first vendor we booked, so they were with us from the moment we started planning. As the global health crisis evolved, so did our plans. When we ditched our indoor venue in favor of an outdoor wedding at our home, MLC were on board. When we went from an anticipated guest count of 150 down to 45-55 then up to 85, they didn't flinch. As our venue and guest count changed, so did our plans for food and service. Also, thank you Jess for being so accommodating with all of our small (and likely super annoying!) requests. You are a saint. We ultimately settled on kosher braised beef short rib as our entree, and it was sensational. Other highlights include the deconstructed French onion soup and the various tasty flatbreads. Oh, I still dream about those gazpacho shooters. Don't sleep on the pot de creme. We are still receiving well-deserved compliments on the food from both foodies to picky eaters alike! Yes, catering a wedding can be expensive, but if you can swing it, invest if a company like MLC that chooses high quality ingredients, supports local farmers, treats their employees well, empowers their chefs to be creative, and hires servers who are generally fun to be around during your event. 10 out of 10 would hire again!

Mountain Laurel Catering was so responsive from day 1. We were having an interracial wedding and wanted both Indian food and Italian food on the menu, as well as fusion options and Mountain Laurel delivered. We had a fusion menu for the cocktail hour and our friends and family are still raving about it. My favorite part of the day was definitely the staff! They were all so, so friendly and had smiling faces all day. They were also very thoughtful and made sure that my husband and I always had the drink of our choice in our hands. They were also kind enough to bring our pre-ceremony snacks to us as we were hanging out prior to the wedding ceremony and our cocktail hour food in between the ceremony and cocktail hour. Couldn't have asked for a better group of people to cater our wedding!

I can't recommend this caterer enough. Not only did the guests RAVE about the food, but they went above and beyond to make my husband's and I's day extra special. From drinks and apps delivered while we were taking pictures at cocktail hour, to setting up our shot wall seating chart. There is no better caterer. My photographer even told me that she won't eat wedding food unless Mountain Laurel is catering because it's too good to pass up! If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

We love to eat, but our families both have a lot of dietary restrictions (including multiple people with Celiac) and we were on a budget, so we knew that catering our wedding would be a tall task. MLC did not disappoint in providing delicious food and accommodating our many dietary restrictions! They also let us ship our wedding wine to them from out of state so that they could store it the week leading up to the wedding and bring it to the venue. We loved that they found us after the ceremony with a glass of champagne, and that they gave us extra dinners to-go. The food was truly delicious, and the fact that food was prepared on-site definitely made for fresher tasting food. There were a few things that prevented us from giving them 5 stars. While MLC was very understanding and permitted us to delay our wedding due to COVID without any fees, there were several times this Spring when we emailed them and waited well over a week for a response. In the midst of this crazy year, I think this is because they prioritize more immediately upcoming weddings, which was understandable but nonetheless unnerving as a couple in the months leading up to our big day. In addition, while we understood that when we reduced our guest count we were still contracted to pay a percentage of the original amount (we incorporated food upgrades to hit our price target), we were frustrated that they significantly reduced the support staff present even though this was not listed in the contract as being on a per-guest basis. We ended up having to pay for an extra bartender to keep the number of staff we were originally contracted for. Lastly, we were told prior to booking that every aspect of the menu would be available in a gluten-free format (I have Celiac and wanted to be able to eat all my own wedding food if possible!) with regular versions for the non-Celiac guests, and they even asked for a recommendation of what flour to use, but on the day of many of the appetizers and the bread did not end up having a GF option. Despite these things we had a fantastic experience with MLC and would recommend them to our friends. Many of our family members are still raving about the food! A quick note on day-of coordinator Erinn: She was AMAZING! Best money we spent on our wedding day! She kept us organized and on-track, and having her to deal with small things as they came up really allowed us to fully relax and enjoy our day. Our families could not say enough good things about her and I think she saved us all from a great deal of wedding stress. Once we booked Erinn, communication was always rapid and I felt like she was really on top of making sure all the details of our day happened according to plan.

Mountain Laurel was awesome! From the first time they met us, they learned about us and personalized the food for us as a couple. We mentioned we love tater tots from this one bar in Philly and they did things like help us make his and her tots in cones as a cocktail app! I told them about a drink I had on my first date and they researched the recipe snd helped us turn it into our signature cocktail. Not only was dinner delicious, but they were so accommodating with allergies and special requests, and constantly made sure that we- as the bride and groom- always had a plate. I’d recommend them over and over!

Book Mount Laurel ASAP! I mean it!!!! They are amazing. Let me start off by saying we booked them 2 months before our wedding when our original caterer cancelled on us. We called everyone in the area to help but with Covid restrictions, or just not even answering our emails…it became very dishearten. Mount Laura responded to our email the next day, not only did the respond, but already put together a menus based off of their questionnaire. We wanted to do a taco bar with Mediterranean foods, we also wanted it to not be traditional. The fact that you can choose how adventurous you want the food was an amazing option. The food combinations they came up with were memorizing just reading the descriptions. The food did not disappoint. We were worried how the food would turn out for the day off since it’s being cooked for a lot of people, and let me tell you it was as good as the tasting. THE BREAD!!!!! I would just book it on the bread alone!!!  We had so many people come up to use at our wedding raving how good the food was and that it was the best food they ever had a wedding before. Not only was the food to die for but the staff itself was amazing. They made sure during pictures we had food/alcohol along with having all the appetizers waiting at our seats so we wouldn’t miss out. They know their shit! The staff were hands down the most capable and skilled group of people, and the communication is excellent. I didn’t have a second thought during my wedding if everything was going as planned. Not only was the staff wonderful the decorations they set up were spot on and cute for not telling them what type of decorations I had for the wedding. I could write more praise about Mountain Laurel, but you should just book them so I don’t ramble some more!

Mountain Laurel was amazing from start to finish. They were able to create a customized menu with interesting and unique combinations that were exactly what we were looking for. Everything was presented beautifully and the service was second to none. They made sure my husband and I were happy throughout the day and that we had everything we needed. Our guests loved the food too. Even though we were having a small wedding with under 20 guests, we did not want to compromise on the food. Mountain Laurel absolutely delivered - our day was perfect!

Mountain laurel was honestly the caterer of our dreams. They went above and beyond to make our dreams come true! People are still raving about the food. The quality of the food was amazing. They made such unique arrangements of foods and flavors to fit our tastes. Their display and arrangement was also SO cute! I wish I could have them cook for me everyday! Thanks mountain laurel!

STOP YOUR SEARCH AND GO WITH MOUNTAIN LAUREL CATERING. They were, hands down, the most incredible vendor we had the pleasure of working with. Starting from the beginning, MLC was on top of every correspondence we had with them. They were so accommodating, responsive, and had a unique ability to get really creative to achieve what we were looking for within our budget. We were originally supposed to get married in 2020, and like many, we needed to push our date. But MLC made us feel so confident and comfortable and was willing to shift things around, even last minute, as we scrambled to figure out our final guest list. We decided to go with a full Asian-themed menu for our wedding and the food was to die for. Everyone was obsessed with the potstickers, ramen shooters, miso salmon, and chicken tikka masala. We did a buffet, but the attention to detail on the design, presentation, etc. was so on point, I almost cried! They had the most beautiful decor set up around the buffet & app table. I had no idea that was something they even included until I saw it in person. It was the most incredible surprise. Not to mention, their level of service day of was OUT OF THIS WORLD. Within 2 minutes of tying the knot and starting our family portraits, their staff came to deliver apps and drinks (which were MUCH needed at that point), and all night they were continuously asking us what we needed, and getting us refills. I cannot possibly recommend MLC enough. You will be SO happy you went with them - they're the most incredible team, and they made our wedding day perfect!

Hands down, the best decision we made for our wedding. Every interaction that we had with any of the staff from Mountain Laurel was next level. From the first email exchange, they had set themselves apart from the competitors . Planning a wedding from a few hours away wasn't the easiest, but they were so accommodating (tasting during an off season weekend, we asked to pick up a different cake flavor, help with actual photos of tablecloth colors, etc). The food was excellent! All of our guests raved over the cocktail hour food and it only got better as the night went on. The staff was incredible. We felt like we were treated like royalty at the wedding and were constantly asked if we needed anything at all from everyone on staff. Every employee was having a good time with us & made the entire experience so much better (like dancing while serving brownies and ice cream cool!). Mountain Laurel will be my top recommendation to any prospective couples in the area!

If you don't hire Mountain Laurel, you're truly missing out. Not only is their menu/food amazing, but they have the most warm, friendly and quick customer service. We absolutely love them! We did have to postpone our original wedding date and ML moved right along with us, made suggestions for updating our menu to match the season, and answered a million little questions I had. They made sure we were fed on our big day - I got to try everything and I think it's rare for couples to say that! Even our planners, photographer, and our bartender think they had the friendliest service and fell in love with the food - they also got to try everything and were so excited to get a plate of mini desserts to themselves. Ps. The cheesesteak egg rolls are to die for. I can't say enough good things about them and would recommend then without hesitation to anyone and everyone we know. They made our day absolutely perfect and we are forever grateful!

Mountain Laurel nailed our wedding food - our goal was to make sure no one left hungry and that it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had; luckily we had booked mountain Laurel and they helped us achieve our goal! Our guests raved about our cocktail hour apps and loved the dinner meal and dessert table options. They even went so far as to make a special meal for my grandma on her birthday and it will forever be such a special moment for me surprising her with it! They were extremely easy to work with and I highly recommend them!!

We are so happy that we selected Mountain Laurel for our wedding caterer. They were so easy to work with and were very communicative throughout the whole process. Planning a pandemic wedding had its own challenges, and Mountain Laurel made it easy- keeping us up to speed and helping us plan a very late tasting. The food was amazing. Everyone still talks about how it's the best wedding food they've ever had. If you're going to splurge on one thing for your wedding- make it the food- and make it Mountain Laurel!

There are not enough wonderful things to say about Mountain Laurel Catering! The whole experience was beyond seamless, from the initial tasting to the constant communication, the custom linen and Irish coffee mug rentals, and superior service up until the end of the reception. We worked with Lauren, who was our favorite contact throughout the entire wedding planning process. She was so friendly, accommodating, and had such great ideas and suggestions to help us get the perfect menu and special extras, such as passed champagne with cranberries during the ceremony and a German-inspired pretzel bar during cocktail hour. We felt that so much individualized time and attention was spent on us. And of course, Chef Pat and Sarah’s food is literally amazing. They really elevate every menu option so that it’s something special, and can customize each item fully depending on your taste and presentation preferences. During the wedding, Lauren and the serving staff also helped with the timing and logistics of transitions, which was so appreciated!! They had to maneuver hot appetizers between two buildings in the middle of a snowstorm, and everything was still perfect. Even the salad and bread and butter were seasonal creations that I wish other wedding menus would adopt. They really take pride in what they do and it’s next-level. We also loved our simple spiced cutting cake with cream cheese frosting, and the bartenders did a great job with our hot buttered rum signature cocktails! Thank you guys again so much for everything, you knocked it out of the park :)

Chef Pat and Sarah are wonderful! They were great at designing a menu that reflected our journey as a couple. From Southern Shrimp and Grits to Filipino Lumpia, they were fun and flexible when experimenting with personalized recipes. Their service team the day of was impeccable. They took extra great care of us as a couple, asking if we needed drinks from the bar, never letting glasses go empty, as well as quick and discrete food service for all of our guests, they were truly a dream the day of. We had them cater our brunch for bride and groom and the delivery was timely and high quality. We had them provide glassware, dishes, and runners for the day of, and all looked beautiful. We also had them cater our brunch the next day which was amazing. Their andouille sausage hash and tater tot casserole were UNREAL. As for working with us on downsizing for COVID-19 safety, they were very reasonable and empathetic. It was incredibly easy to find an agreement that worked for both parties. Their staff was also very mindful of mask wearing and cleanliness throughout the night. The only place where we had some problems were with allergies. We had to remind them about deathly nut and apple allergies, which repeatedly appeared on the menu. However, on the day of the wedding we did not have any issues at all. They were sure to execute the day of. This is the only reason why we did not recommend full 5 stars. We would very highly recommend Mountain Laurel Catering!

Mountain Laurel Catering did an outstanding reception for my daughters wedding. They customized the appetizers to my daughter and son-in-laws favorite foods and they were delicious. The dinner was amazing and everyone loved their meals. The staff was very accommodating and professional. They were very thorough and got everyone their meals very quickly. The bar tenders were excellent and we had a lot of fun with them at the reception. I would absolutely recommend this caterer. They made our reception very stress free by covering all of the details.

We chose Mountain Laurel because they were on our preferred vendor list and now we understand why! The food was AMAZING and the drinks were out of this world! We had a few guests that are vegans / vegetarians and MLC created a special appetizer for them! My husband is born and raised in Maryland, so for our signature drinks we wanted to do an Orange Crush and a Grapefruit Crush. We were a little nervous as MLC mentioned to us, they never made / had a crush before. Any Marylander knows these MUST be made with freshly squeezed oranges or grapefruits. The crazy thing is, these were the best crushes we’ve ever had!! Our guests LOVED the crushes and are still RAVING about the food. MLC team brought us and our family appetizers and cocktails as we were doing family photos – it was so sweet, my dad is still talking about this!! The waiters and waitresses must have come up to my husband and I while we were at our table at least 8 times – checking on us, seeing if we needed any drinks or more food! The entire staff was so kind, gracious and pleasant! Every guest has told us how fabulous the food was – from the salad to the cheese steak egg rolls to the creamy cheesy mash potatoes! Cannot say enough great things, definitely recommend them to cater any event!

We hired this company for our wedding, they were on the preferred list from our venue and there’s a reason they were on that list! We did the family style, everyone raved about the food! It was all delicious and the staff were nothing but Professional and helpful. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing a caterer.

From our tasting to the wedding day, we can't say enough good things about Sarah and the Mountain Laurel team!! She worked with us to customize our ideal dinner menu, and our expectations were beyond exceeded. With the added stressors of the pandemic, Sarah and the team were so helpful in rescheduling, making changes, and so much more. During dinner, everyone constantly checked on me and my husband to make sure we were set with food and drinks. The whole team, from chefs and servers to bartenders, were so friendly and really made the whole experience so enjoyable. We're almost a month out from our wedding date, and guests are STILL telling us that the food was the best wedding food they've ever had! Lauren and the team at Mountain Laurel were our favorite vendor to work with for the whole wedding process. They created the perfect menu for our wedding, and the guests raved about the food. They assisted the venue in flipping a room from ceremony to reception for 300 guests quickly and beautifully. I can not recommend them high enough!

Lauren and Mountain Laurel Catering were FANTASTIC! It was so easy to work with them and to customize everything on our menu so it would be exactly how we wanted on our big day. The food was delicious and we’ve received compliments from our guests saying the same. They also set up the place settings exactly as we wanted them so that everything looked cohesive and beautiful. My only regret is not eating more! ;) Highly recommend!!

We are so happy that we were referred to Mountain Laurel Catering! Meeting Chef Pat & Sarah at our food tasting was nothing short of amazing, they are truly a one of a kind team. Learning more about their background and them getting to know us was a great experience, plus the tasting they provided was outstanding! The food is so delicious, we knew right away we wanted them to cater our wedding. They are so creative with their menu and will tweak it to be unique to you. Lauren has been beyond amazing to work with, she is so knowledgeable and truly cares about her couples. Even if it doesn’t have to do with her job, she is still there to lead you in the right direction (you don’t find people like that nowadays). We will truly miss speaking with her. If you are looking for the best caterer in central PA, Mountain Laurel is it! We can’t say enough about the ML team. The servers and bartenders the day of were also great. We were always taken care of and felt so at ease the whole night because they made it a great experience. We can’t thank the ML team enough for being a big part of our special day!

Nothing but good things to say! Lauren was by far my favorite contact person the whole way through our wedding. I called mountain laurel early in my wedding planning when I was over whelmed with trying to figure out the catering process. She volunteered her time to help me even if it wasn’t with their menu. That is 110% above and beyond! We had our tasting and due to many different opinions from everyone we needed to make changes they made some right in front of us! Wow! Chef Pat was phenomenal. Lauren kept in close contact with me making sure I didn’t need help with anything- she has years in the business and her knowledge, kindness and professionalism shows it. The day of the food was hot and delicious a week later people are STILL talking about it! Try the smoked bourbon brisket!! Could not have worked with a better company.

When I say my day would not have been possible without Lauren, I'm not kidding! She took on the pressure or multiple vendors to be sure my (now) husband and I were taken care of and understood everything going on. In the weeks leading up, she took numerous phone calls and continuously checked in. She was worried about US and OUR experience as a couple, making sure that she went above and beyond to give us the best day possibly, even further than the food. The staff at Mountain Laurel is unparalleled. I work for a small business and value customer service over anything - these people BLEW my mind! Exceeded every expectation. From a delicious, laid back & intimate tasting, to plating our appetizers for us to enjoy when we got to our table (since cocktail hour is hectic), to touching base with other vendors to ensure everything went smoothly - they didn't miss any details. I had a few bad experiences as I planned my wedding but I cannot sing high enough praises to this entire staff. We were frequently checked on to make sure we didn't need anything, we were "catered" to like we mattered more than anything that night, and our guests could not stop talking about how DELICIOUS the food was! If you need an amazing caterer for your wedding, guess what? You just found them. I cannot say enough about Lauren and the Mountain Laurel staff. Lauren is an absolute dream to work with, she is so responsive and really cares about her couples and all of the nitty gritty details that goes into pulling off feeding so many people! Chef Pat and Sarah have AMAZING options for your menu. We loved how they tailored the entrees and sides to our specific tastes and things that we enjoy as a couple, it was a nice way to personalize the dinner. We didn't have to worry about a single thing when it came to the food, serving our cake, getting champagne out for the toasts, the bars, setting up the tables etc. Mountain Laurel covered it all with ease. They're food was so good at the tasting, AND at the wedding! That's not always the case when caterers go large scale after you have your tasting, but with ML there is nothing to worry about. Beyond just the food the presentation is beyond anything else we've seen with other caterers. They REALLY care about what they do and it shows. Thank you guys for everything and for being such a big part of our day! We will never forget it and wish we could do it all over again!

Sarah and Chef Pat were a pleasure to work with. We needed gluten-free options. Chef Pat prepared amazing food that made for deliciousness with each bite. Lauren and the whole crew at Mountain Laurel were absolutely fantastic from the start of our planning and even after the wedding! One of the priorities for both of us was great-tasting food with a kind of unique spin (my wife is Indian, I am American) for an Indian-American fusion. After explaining what we were looking for, Lauren came back with a menu that was just what we were looking for, and backed it up with an amazing personalized tasting. The team was super open and responsive to the couple changes we wanted to make as well. On the day of the wedding the food and service provided by MLC was spot-on. Very professional, everything on-time, and as expected the food was just great (and got many compliments from our guests). Lauren really went above and beyond and helped with non-food related stuff at the end of the night as well. Overall, MLC helped make our day all the more wonderful and special. I’m so glad we went with Mountain Laurel Catering for our wedding! The food was top-notch and working with Lauren was a dream. Chef Pat will work with you to craft your own personalized menu, rather than choosing from a list of menu options. Lauren was super communicative and helpful throughout the whole process and really helped us to think through every detail. On the day of, the staff members were so nice and the service ran smoothly. In choosing a caterer, it was important to me to choose a business with a commitment to sustainability, one who worked with local ingredients and suppliers, and who also prepared high quality dishes. We LOVE Lauren and the rest of the MLC Staff!!! They are truly the best in the biz and help create such fun, tasty menus. When we walked in for our tasting, my husband and I KNEW we had to book MLC. The place looked incredibly professional, and the food smelled amazing! (Totally recommend the BRISKET!) It was nifty watching them put everything together for us, and the food is HANDS DOWN AMAZING. We enjoyed every bit and then finished our to-go bags at home that night! Our wedding guests could not get over how DELICIOUS the meal was. Everyone was commenting on how INCREDIBLE the food was and how much there was! No one left hungry and everyone devoured our late night snacks- mac'n cheese bites for the win!!! We also appreciated the packaged bride and groom food, and all the little extras they sent back with us. Our guests loved this for the after party, and everything was gone by the morning. BEST FOOD. BEST CHEF. BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE. BEST STAFF. No questions asked! Also wanted to give Lauren a special shout out! Lauren is the BEST with communication. We always had an email response with-in 48 hours, and had our questions answered. Lauren was always down to meet up with us or talk on the phone to review our menu. She is incredibly organized and has it all together :) We also appreciated the online surveys, and google docs she provided to keep us in order! She is a true joy to work with and we could not have asked for a better person to be with us on our wedding day!!!

I can not tell you enough how much we loved working with Mountain Laurel Catering!! When planning our wedding food, it was my biggest desire to not have "typical" wedding food, and Mt. Laurel absolutely delivered that! Our guests commented over and over again that it was "the best wedding food they had ever had"-and I totally agreed with that! I loved that we could personally choose our own menu based off of our favorite foods. Their flavor combinations and creativity were wonderful. I also have a food allergy, and Mt. Laurel went above and beyond to make sure that all the food was "safe". They were punctual, efficient,incredibly kind and easy to work with! They seriously made our planning process and our wedding so great! I would TOTALLY recommend them to anyone!

AMAZING. That is the one word that I heard over and over from our guests about Mountain Laurel’s delicious hors d’oeurves and dinner entrees (Beef Brisket, Chicken Confit, and mushroom tortellini). One guest even came up to me at the wedding and said “Lauren, that was the best food I have ever had at a wedding”. Sarah Combs and her husband, the talented Chef for Mountain Laurel, are a great team that are dedicated to creating unique dishes with fresh ingredients and amazing flavors. The quality you receive for the cost, we believe, was extremely affordable. We loved that we didn’t have to break the bank to have 5 star food for ourselves and our guests. We are so grateful for Mountain Laurel! We HIGHLY recommend them!!
