This venue was absolutely amazing! The views, the suites, the ballroom, and just everything was incredible! Amanda was very responsive to all my questions. I highly recommend using this venue and am so glad I booked it two years in advance!

If I could describe my experience with this place in one word it would be embarrassing… Let me explain.
My wife and I decided to go with this venue because it is beautiful and we’ve heard some good things from our friends that have visited before. We visited the venue multiple times prior to our wedding to make sure that everything was good to go for our big day. The manager that we booked the venue with assured me that there would be a groomsman suite upstairs with a restroom that I and my groomsmen would be able to get ready in before the wedding. This was great news for me because some of the guys planned on playing a round of golf before the wedding began.
Unfortunately when me and the boys arrived to the venue and got upstairs we were greeted with an unpleasant surprise in the bathroom. My buddy came and let me know that the groomsmen suite had not been properly cleaned at all and brought me to see what he meant. The trash can near the toilet was completely full to the rim with other people’s trash. The toilet was unsanitary and littered with hairs urine stains. The shower was extremely dirty and had hairs and dirt buildup around the bathtub.
We decided that we were not going to shower due to the condition of the bathroom, so I immediately took photos and videos of the bathroom so that I could show the manager when we had time. I did not shower before my wedding, which was very frustrating. Also the last thing we wanted to do was inform my wife of what was going on upstairs in the bathroom because she would have had a breakdown, so we handled it like men and proceeded to get ready.
I grabbed my razor and started to shave so at least I could have a clean face before the ceremony. (I’m bald btw) I look down and the sink is completely stopped up which was just plain gross.
We finally got ready despite all of the obstacles in the bathroom and moved along to the ceremony and reception.
Fast forward to the end of the wedding, the guest are leaving and I inform my wife of the situation that we had earlier. We decided to try and contact the manager so that we could show her in person what we had experienced. I showed her the videos and proceeded to escort her upstairs to show her how disgusting the bathroom was. I asked her if she would shower in this bathroom before her wedding and her answer was “ No, definitely not.”
I stated that it’s been a long night and I’d like to revisit the conversation tomorrow after everyone has had some rest. She informed me that the owner would be in contact with us the following day. I get a phone call from the owner of the venue yesterday morning and he explained who he was and asked me to give details about the bathroom. After I explained the situation, he went on to say that if we would have stopped and contacted the manager, she could have had a crew come clean the restroom. Guys, keep in mind it’s a wedding, the grooms have food, beverages, and decor upstairs and we were hanging out and starting to play pool and get ready. The last thing I need is for the entire upstairs hallway to smell like cleaning supplies while my guest are trying to enjoy themselves.

ogize for the condition of the restroom upon your arrival. We have already addressed this with our cleaning crew to ensure no future guests ever have a similar experience. It is certainly not something we condone nor believe any of our guests should have to deal with. As you said, we would have addressed it after realizing it had been neglected, had we been informed, but that doesn’t change the fact that it happened and shouldn’t have.
Regarding compensation and the damage to the door, as you mentioned in a separate review, we do reserve the right to use funds from the deposit for repairs, but opted not to do so after learning about the restroom. In both our conversations you expressed that receiving your security deposit was, in your opinion, just compensation, so I’m struggling to understand the review above or your feeling as though you weren’t taken care of. I wish we could do something to address that. This certainly isn’t how we like leaving things. We did attempt to reach you by phone and text again after receiving your review. Hope to have the opportunity to speak further.
Again, our deepest apologies. Please know, as result of this instance, will be adjusting our policy to double and triple check what our cleaners have done prior to guests’ arrival.
Our hope is also that potential clients reading the above review will take our response, along with the long list of favorable reviews, into consideration as they decide on whether or not to allow us the privilege of hosting their special day. We always have and will continue to strive to make Mountain View a place that goes above and beyond in leaving its guests satisfied.

This venue is absolutely beautiful and was so accommodating based on our needs. They make the booking process really easy and contacting them simple. Amanda, the site manager, is such a pleasure to work with and helped me with any question I had and let us come view the site when needed.

This venue was the only place that had my date available at the last minute so I know it was destined for us to have our wedding and reception here. The manager was exceptionally professional and nice. She went over above and beyond to make sure our day was everything we dreamed of. From start to finish she was there hand and feet. If I could give this place a million stars, I would.

The venue is absolutely stunning. There are mountain views, multiple ceremony sites, including multiple outdoor places, and the ballroom is classic and breathtaking. The day of coordinator that was there to assist was incredibly helpful, and they made sure everything went smoothly as far as letting us set up. I was so impressed and pleased that this venue helped make my perfect day a reality.

Beautiful venue, great price, and great staff!!! I rate the venue, staff, and services provided 10 out of 5! I was very impressed with everything. A wedding one stop shop. They provide catering, cakes, décor, etc. Wedding was planned in about 5 months, and must people think it took about a year to plan. I gave Mrs. Debbie my vision and she went with it. She already had décor to go with my theme and I only added a few pieces to top it off. Ms. Misty made sure everything went on the day of with no issues. I told her that I wanted the wedding to start at 3:00 pm whether I was ready or not, and guess what? It started at 3:00 pm on the dot. Everything I asked of the staff, they got it done and they all exceeded my expectations. I couldn't have asked for a better location, or staff for my big day. The food and cake was delicious and people are still talking about it til this day and the wedding was on 02/14/2016. Thanks again to Mrs. Debbie & Ms. Misty for there hard-work and special touches to make my special day a huge success.

I recently got married at Mountain View Gardens and Ballroom. I looked at many venues, but once I visited this one, I fell in love. From the gorgeous chandeliers in the ballroom to the beautiful view overlooking the mountains from a distance, I still have people discussing how incredible the place was. I would recommend this place not only to have amazing backdrops for pictures, but because the owner, staff, and wedding director made this experience top notch. Not once was I stressed because they literally handled everything (flowers, cakes, food..you name it!) If I ever had a question, I received a response within a short time frame. Also you can't beat the price! I definitely had my dream wedding!

Moutain View Gardens & Ballroom is a beautiful venue. We got married there May 16, 2015 and everything was gorgeous. Ms. Debbie and Misty are great coordinators! In spite of the rain, and having to move the ceremony inside, they made sure our day was still perfect as planned. The staff are awesome as well, they were very attentive to the guest and received many compliments. The food was delicious and the entire atmosphere was great. Our guests cannot stop talking about how beautiful and organized everything was. Indeed a wedding to remember!! I loved this place from the beginning. The staff is awesome. They talk you through every step of the way. I would definitely get married all over again there 😊. Thanks Mrs. Lewis for bringing my/our ideas to life.

Great all inclusive venue but the owner has a nasty attitude all the time. Her attitude was so bad it made my photographer swear my wedding would be the last one that she was doing at the location especially since our photographer had experienced the same attitude from her at another wedding she shot at the venue.

I will say for the value we got the service was a steal. This is a family owned venue and they take pride in their work. I didn't have to worry one bit about how my wedding would go. I told them my ideas and they did the rest. I can honestly say nothing went wrong on my wedding day. Everything was perfect thanks to the lovely staff that jumped in where things needed to be done. If something did go wrong I had no idea. Debbie the owner always returned my calls in a timely manner. I will say that they do work with any kind of budget which is great. I was able to have my dream wedding for a fraction of the price. People are still talking about how beautiful the venue is.Needless to say I didn't have to pay much for decorations because it was already so beautiful .

Our wedding was absolutely beautiful. The owner of Mountain View, Debbie Lewis, met with us many months before the wedding to iron out all of the details. The catering and florist were provided by Mountain View. This took away a lot of stress because we didn't have to worry about hiring vendors and preparing our own decorations. The wedding coordinator, Misty, was there for us through the entire rehearsal and wedding. She answered every question that we had and insured that everything ran smoothly during our big day. I highly recommend this site to any bride and groom looking for a gorgeous, hassle free venue. I could not be happier with Mountain View Gardens and Ballroom and their wonderful staff.
