edding) we didn't feel very good about this choice. But it was too late to do anything about it. He appeared rude and arrogant on the phone. He tried to make jokes about how I was "too picky" and continued to brag and tell me TWICE how many weddings he has done and that he is a "pro". I found him to be very full of himself and preoccupied with other things. He often spoke over me and didn't let me finish what I wanted to say. I was very specific that we didn't want many slow songs. Specifically 2 for the whole night. During the wedding, on 3 separate occasions he played 2 slow songs back to back (6 slow songs total). It really killed the mood of the dance floor. He also was rude to my guests who requested songs. The only way he would take a song request was if I personally left the dance floor and went up to him and asked. He did play some of our requested songs, but not all of them and he played songs I have never even heard. I was really excited by this DJ company because of their great reviews, but was really disappointed. On the day of the wedding, right before introductions, my maid of honor went up to talk to him and he went over the order of introductions and toasts with her. She didn't recognize any of the names on his list, and was confused. He had the wrong paperwork and was showing her someone else's weddings line up. He then came up to me to go over it all and make sure it was correct. In my opinion this should NOT be something you bother the bride with on wedding day. He should have had this done, and ready to go ahead of time. Also, no one knew we were cutting the cake. He just started our cake cutting song without saying anything. I had our wedding planner ask him to make an announcement. He didn't lower the music and very somberly said on the mic that we were cutting the cake. Not a single person heard him. Did people still dance? Yes. Did people still have fun? Yes. But I was not super happy.

we wanted and he did a good job of feeling the crowd. He did all the things you would expect from a professional DJ. We didn't want the classic wedding playlist and our "do not play" list was longer and more important to stick to than our "please play" list. We knew what we DIDN'T want so we gave him that list (over 50 classic wedding songs) and my husband and I created a joint spotify playlist of all the songs we liked so he could get a feel for our taste. Dan clearly reviewed that list because all night long he played songs from it. It was so awesome listening to songs we knew and loved at a wedding, and not just the everyday songs you get at every other wedding. the price was good and the service was perfect. I looked around at other places before choosing moving music, and they really offered the most. Especially because lighting was included. I would highly recommend these guys.

DJ, photo booth, and uplights. DJ Danny D was our DJ for the night - he was an absolute hit and kept our guests dancing all night! Afterwards, we had so many guests tell us how awesome our DJ was and ask us for his information. The photobooth was being used all night and our guests loved the ability to get the photos sent to their phones and get a copy of their photo strips for everyone! Overall, we're so glad that we chose moving music and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for the full package at an affordable price!

At one point we needed help applying decorations to the brick walls , getting a little frustrated because nothing we had was working but Norm had Gorilla Tape and that saved us! We also ran out of helium for the last of our balloons and he offered to go to the nearest store and get them filled. I didn't let him but, the fact that he offered was up and above his call of duty. We had an amazing time, he played just about every song I requested and a few I forgot about. . I would highly recommend Moving Music & DJ Norm for your next event.

We had to tell him to replay as rush to the floor and rather than stopping and waiting for us to get to floor, he just started the song over as we still were walking over. They use a website and somethings were not reviewed, such as a change to the bride's family introduction song, even though we communicated this several times. He did cut the songs correctly. We asked for an announcement that the centerpieces were to be given away and whomever had a chip under there chair won it. This wasn't announced, so at the end we had some people that didn't get an opportunity to get one and others take 3. Lastly, I called the owner and even though he said he will look into he didn't seem to have a concerned or want to try to do anything to fix the situation of feel any real remorse for issues. Also, just something I noticed, our DJ is one of the people who wrote a 5 star review on google.

I worked with him at another wedding we both professionally attended and I hired him for my wedding specifically because he kept everyone on the dance floor all night! People won’t remember your decorations, so make sure they remember how much fun they had... I definitely recommend Moving Music for that!

e final cleanup he was the ultimate pro, funny, calming, motivating, and exactly what we wanted. Norm was so well prepared that he knew more about the wedding plan than we did. I forgot most of it and Norm kept us on pace and plan. We had so many compliments on him that we had to write this review for him. We enjoyed ourselves and everyone had such a good time. He played my playlist, improvised, added some fun mixes to our choices and obliged some appropriate requests. We can’t thank you enough Norm. Keep up the great work!!

He was responsive to doing only a partial father/daughter dance, and helped us stay on schedule. I would recommend DJ Mike and Moving Music WNY, just make sure you are clear in your music requests, and they will take care of the rest.

He gave helpful suggestions but was not pushy and let us make all final decisions. The night of the wedding was flawless. He read the crowd perfectly and kept the dance floor jam packed the whole night. We even extended the evening and he was the most accommodating! We booked Tony after hearing him DJ a friends wedding last year and we are pleased to say he knocked both weddings out of the park! Thank you Tony!

Moving Music also did our uplighting and photo-booth and that experience was also incredible. They made us a custom album with all of the photos in it, the attendant was genuinely nice and a pleasure to be around, and the uplighting was perfect. The best part - after our meeting with Chuckie - he took care of everything. We didn't have to think about many of the little details we were after for our event. He was not just a DJ playing music, he was responsible for orchestrating the flow of the entire event, timing, lighting, music, announcements, sound during the ceremony, and most of all - peace of mind.
