Mozarts provided excellent assistance with planning and everything at the reception went smoothly! The food of course was wonderful and we all had a wonderful evening! Thank you!!!
Communicative, helpful, cost effective, friendly, good food and atmosphere. They had pretty much everything we needed except the officiant and dress all rolled into their cost. Food, cake, basic decor, and room. No complaints, all praise for our wedding. 10/10
Get married here!!! Janelle and the Mozart’s staff are courteous, professional and responsive. Every one of our guests commented to us about the wonderful food and service. The cake tastes as delicious as it looks. We could not ask for a more straightforward and simple way to get married. We have only positive things to say about this place. On your big day, the last thing you want to worry about is your vendors coming through and Mozart’s is definitely the place you can put your trust.
We had our wedding here and it was amazing. Mozart took care of almost everything so all I had to worry about was the guest list. The price was super reasonable considering all they do and the owner and staff made us feel like family. 10/10 amazing
We initially decided to go with Mozart's because of their beautiful venue, pastries, pricing, and the fact that they handle everything in house, but our experience with them far exceeded our expectations. Anand, Janelle, and their team were abundantly kind, flexible, and accommodating, and the entire event was beautiful thanks to them. If you're considering Mozart's for your event, I can confidently recommend them -- they're truly magic.
Choosing to have our wedding ceremony & reception at Mozart's was by far the best decision we made for our wedding day. The venue was beautiful and included so many small touches that made planning easier. We used their in-house services, for both food & the pianist/dj. Everyone was so professional, welcoming, and very easy to work with. I'd be amiss to not mention Janelle & Anand who were excellent communicators and made sure everything was in place both leading up to the day and during the event. The food itself was wonderful, and they were able to accommodate a delicious vegetarian/vegan selection that everyone loved, along with their well-known pastries.
Very professional and cost effective venue. Wonderful and caring staff, did everything to make our event a success. Lots of very good suggestions for things to include. Lots of options to enhance a very complete base. Food was very good. Everyone had a great time. Lots of parking
Amand and his team provided a beautiful space and excellent service for our wedding in 2022. They allowed us to personalize to our tastes for mixed culture service and reception and met our expectations and beyond.
We held our reception at Mozart’s this April and it was PERFECTION!!! Janelle & Anand helped us every step of the way, and the rest of the crew was just as AMAZING!! I highly recommend hosting any event here!!!
Giving a review to this venue would not give it justice! From the first telephone call to the last goodbye at the end of the night. The communication, professionalism and class is exceptional. The food ! The food. My family and friends are still talking about how incredibly it was, especially the mashed potatoes.
I would recommend Mozarts to everyone, you are part of their family and they treat you that way from start to finish.
Do not hesitate book this venue.
My husband and I got married here in October and it couldn’t have been more perfect! Anand, Janelle, and the staff were so helpful. We couldn’t have had our dream wedding without them
My wife and I had our wedding reception at Mozart's and it was perfect. From the first day we came to visit, Anand and Janelle were both very professional, easy-going, clear, and so helpful in their communication. It was obvious from day 1 how much experience they have providing high quality service. We'd visited a few venues where hidden fees or limitations popped up after we left, but Mozart's made us feel like they were working to make our wedding day the best day it could possibly be.
Throughout the entire year they were extremely fast to respond to our many, many questions. During our final emails and meetings they provided print outs of potential table set ups, talked through entrances, and tables for guestbooks, presents, family photos, cocktail appetizers, desserts, and more. All of that, along with the online 3D virtual tour which we used a ton, helped so much in planning. The tasting was delicious and actually made it harder to choose because of all the good options, especially the vegetarian butternut squash ravioli and the mashed potatoes, which we received lots of complements from our guests about.
The venue is so beautiful and the layout they helped us settle on ended up working perfectly: we had the dance floor and seats in the ballroom, while the buffet and cookie table were in the main bar area where our guests could enjoy a break from the music to talk, pick up a drink and desserts, and take polaroid pictures together.
To wrap up: Anand and Janelle were extremely detail-oriented and they went above and beyond to not only make sure that everything went smoothly, but that we were comfortable with the process and aware of everything we needed to have a great reception. My wife and I told each other multiple times throughout the year about how lucky we felt having booked with them, because, of all the million things we had to stress about for the wedding, we knew from their emails and communication that our reception was taken care. I know I'm missing a lot of small details and ways in which they helped, but I need to wrap up this book by saying I'd highly recommend them!
Everything was perfect for our on-site wedding ceremony and reception. Anand and Jannelle made all the planning easy - they're wonderful to work with, prompt, great communication, etc. Service during the evening was excellent, and everyone loved the food. We're so happy we made the decision to use Mozart's!
I definitely recommend Mozart! Janelle and Anand are amazing. They are very prompt and professional. They accommodated all my request. The ballroom is beautiful 😍 and ample space to my both Ceremony and reception
We were looking for a venue to host a wedding reception and discovered the perfect wedding venue! We originally planned for a small ceremony followed by a reception, but after discussing pricing it made sense to have both our ceremony and reception at Mozart's. The friendly folks at Mozart's - Anand, Janelle, Susie, and Paul - took care of EVERYTHING and allowed us and our guests to do nothing but share in our special day. The spaces available are beautiful, the catering and service was excellent! If we decided to get married 100 more times, we would choose Mozart's for all 100 ceremonies.
My husband and I booked the ballroom for our ceremony and reception. The staff is and always has been amazing and super kind. (Wedding day or not) Janelle is amazing as well! She always was quick to respond to emails or calls (even on days when they were technically closed) and genuinely cared about our big day. Janelle and Anand very accommodating and wanted to make sure everything was as we envisioned. If I were to get married again I’d choose here ;)
We booked the smaller of the 2 rooms they had available, as our planning was being done mid-covid. Janelle was incredibly helpful with explaining all our options and answering any questions we had about the different pa kages available.
we could not have been happier with how everything turned out. The staff went above and beyond and the owner could not have been nicer and more helpful.
All of our guests had an amazing time and lived the venue.
Highly recommend Mozarts.
We had our Wedding Celebration with Mozarts. Anand and his entire team are beyond wonderful. They are so kind and made everything so easy for us. We hosted our event in Mozarts' Beechwold Tavern room which is gorgeous and perfect for around 40 people. Our guests are still talking about the food and how much they loved the location. Unlike other event spaces, where it feels like their are hidden costs, we were given the exact cost of our event when we first met with Anand and his team and everything cost exactly what they said it would. I seriously cannot recommend Mozarts enough for any of your special celebrations! Also, we are a lesbian couple and the entire staff treated us like family and were extremely welcoming and culturally competent.
We had our Sunday brunch wedding with Mozarts. They were amazing and so easy to work with. We used their pianist and officiant and soo happy that we did so. I can not recommend enough Mozarts and a venue to host your wedding.
Had our smaller (50) wedding celebration here. Very professional arrangements. Venue helped us with pianist and photographer, who were excellent as well. Excellent venue in Clintonville neighborhood!
Amazing venue, incredible service and attention to detail!
We couldn't have been happier with not only the venue, but really what made it special was the Owner Anand Saha's incredible level of service, follow up, attention to detail, and personalization to what our specific needs were. We held both the ceremony and the reception at Mozart's, and everything went smoothly under Anand's careful and critical watch. Food was OUTSTANDING. What made this so special is we found the venue last minute after we realized we needed a bigger venue (who doesn't this happen to lol). He was open for the dates we needed, and with only 2 weeks of planning and notice, we had a beautiful ceremony and reception. Couldn't recommend more highly!
The wedding brunch food was fantastic! Our guests raved about how wonderful everything tasted. The staff was friendly and attentive to our small group and service was outstanding. The room was nicely set up and perfect for our 30 guests. The event manager and owner were really great to work with. We would definitely recommend Mozart’s to anyone.
We were looking for an intimate and elegant wedding and found that with Mozart's. Being from Clintonville we wanted to have our wedding in a place that had a connection to our community and our family. Mozart's provided us with the wedding we always talked out. The owner Anand has grown a top notch café into a top notch venue as well. The food was amazing and the staff were so attentive.
Janelle helped us to create the perfect atmosphere and was readily available to answer our questions leading up to the event as well as helped coordinate the key events on the day of our wedding.
I can't thank Mozart's enough for their experience, attentiveness and the memories that will last forever. This is truly a special place!
My husband and I got engaged last July, and we knew we wanted to get married within the year. We started our journey looking for venues and felt discouraged because dates were booked, and it seemed like some unreasonable pricing. We luckily found Mozart's within our search, and the moment we walked in, we knew this was the place for us. We loved the charm, how big the space was, and how accommodating everyone was. They gave us so much freedom to choose our layout, how we wanted food set up, and any other requests we had. Their food is out of this world delicious. We did chicken and pork dishes that I can't really put into words well because it was such a hit, as well as the potatoes. We also did a dessert table that people are still talking about. There was onsite wedding coordinating, which made set up, the day of, and clean up so much easier. I also loved that I could call, email or text, and could get in touch right with our coordinator. I never felt confused or frustrated- they made wedding planning super easy! I can't express how much we loved our day and how our guests are still talking about the wonderful experience they had!
A friend of mine helped us find Mozart's to be our reception vendor and the first thing she said was that the staff were so warm and kind! That absolutely was true as we worked with both the owner and event coordinator directly. I loved that it was simple, they were always available, and made it as easy as possible for us even if it was more inconvenient for them! I wouldn't say we had a complicated or extravagant reception, but every one of our special requests was met with enthusiasm, not reluctance. I appreciate Mozart's so much for the warmth and care they took into helping my husband and I get married!
An amazing experience!! The staff are very professional and courteous of your needs. They were flexible to the changes of a wedding planning experience and they handle setup and tear down (favorite part).
The cool thing about Mozart’s is that it doubles as a great wedding venue but also as a wonderful restaurant for events. I love the food, especially the pastries! Definitely recommend it for someone that wants an elegant ceremony and reception.
When my husband and I used to hear married couples talk about their wedding days as being “perfect”, or “everything they imagined”, we always assumed they were exaggerating. After having our own wedding day at Mozart’s, however, we can say with complete honesty that the day was indeed perfect and everything we imagined.
Let’s back up: We originally visited Mozart’s in December 2019. We fell in love with the unique atmosphere and astoundingly reasonable price point (we kept saying, “The food AND the cake are included?!”), and were impressed with the kindness & friendliness of Anand, Janelle, and the rest of the staff. We toured a few other venues, but always walked out saying, “It’s not as good as Mozart’s.” So, in January, we booked Mozart’s for a wedding in November 2020.
Well, we all know what happened next. We were faced with an incredibly difficult decision of whether to go ahead with our wedding in the middle of a global pandemic, or to postpone. Adding to this tension were horror stories of engaged couples who lost their deposits by postponing, or whose venues closed entirely. But when we ultimately chose to postpone our wedding, Mozart’s was nothing but gracious—they immediately pushed out our wedding by a year, and didn’t charge us anything extra. We were completely blown away by their empathy and understanding.
Happily, we were able to host our wedding ceremony and reception at Mozart’s in November 2021 with no further hiccups. Every step of the planning process went unbelievably smoothly, from a delicious tasting (complete with samples of different cake, filling, and frosting flavors to experiment with), to Janelle’s expert fielding of our dozens of frantic questions, to Anand’s enthusiastic agreement to having our dog in the wedding.
When we finally made it to the big day itself, we couldn’t believe how perfectly everything went. The entire ceremony and reception flowed seamlessly and effortlessly. Our guests loved the food (many have since told us that we served the best wedding cake they’d ever had!) and, like us, were entirely charmed by the uniqueness of the venue. Anand and Janelle were there throughout the night to ensure everything was taken care of, and my parents, who frequented the original cafe back in the 90s, enjoyed reminiscing with Anand about the early days of Mozart’s. Our family and friends had such a good time that most stayed until the very end of the wedding!
Overall, Mozart’s went above and beyond to give us the unique (and affordable!) wedding of our dreams. We can’t recommend them enough!
We got engaged shortly before the pandemic hit. At that time we visited Mozart's and were impressed by their warmth and attentiveness to our needs. They made us feel special from the first time we met them, and months and months later the feeling never changed. We had special circumstances during our wedding planning, and they were patient and accommodating throughout the whole planning process. Janelle and Anand were always helpful, even when they were busy.
We had a ceremony of 40 guests, and Mozart's helped us envision our wedding day. They take care of everything so you don't have to worry about tables, linens, etc -- they even helped us plan out the schedule of the whole reception.
We were thrilled to have our wedding cake crafted by Mozart's, along with the appetizers, main course, and alcoholic beverages. The bride and some guests had dietary restrictions that they solved without a hitch. We had fun choosing our cake flavors and heard from many guests that they loved the food.
The location within Columbus is great and they have ample parking.
They made it easy for us to have one of our closest friends play the piano during the ceremony, which made it so special, and they also helped us enliven the rest of our evening with their house pianist/DJ in very short notice. Paul was great and he made sure to include some of our favorite songs -- he even performed live pop songs.
Thank you Mozart's for making our special day full of cherished memories!
Mozart’s was the perfect fit! Janelle made the entire experience flawless!
Mozarts and all of their staff were truly amazing! From the venue, food, and personal attention, they went above and beyond to make sure we got what we needed and also gave us personal attention...which means everything on your special day! Thanks Mozart's! You're the best in our book!

We were so grateful to have our wedding ceremony at Mozart’s! They made planning everything so easy and took care of a lot of the small details so we did not have to worry. They provided wonderful table service, all of the glassware, plates, flatware, and even some decorative gold chargers to the dining tables. We were able to add a few of our own decorative touches as well. We had an afternoon brunch ceremony on a Sunday afternoon with a talented pianist who played throughout the brunch and then we utilized the in house sound system to play a wedding playlist for some dance floor time! Brunch was absolutely delicious, we were able to customize it and add a few extra touches including a complimentary champagne toast! Anand, Janelle, Susie and the entire staff were extremely professional and accommodating. Susie is an extremely talented and wonderful wedding officiant who created one of a kind personalized ceremony for us. She is highly recommended! We even had our cake and cupcakes made in house that were such a treat and came out so beautiful. We especially loved the idea that we could have our ceremony, pictures and brunch reception all in the same spot to minimize stress and travel for our guests. It was a beautiful day made special by the staff at Mozart’s. They even had our name on the marquee outside of the venue on our wedding day. Please don’t hesitate to consider Mozart’s for your special day! They make it simple yet elegant and you will not be disappointed!
I just had my wedding on June 06 of 2021. It was great and everything was set up before the start of my wedding which was early in the morning. The wedding coordinator made planning everything so easy to plan. I used Mozart’s for the venue and catering, as well as, music and musician. It didn’t cost too much and there is the park of roses just a few minutes away to take beautiful pictures.
I had my wedding at Mozart's in December of 2020. My fiancé and I were at a complete loss of how to plan our wedding with the uncertainty of COVID and the fact that many venues were closed. My family has loved eating at Mozart's throughout the years and their deserts are to DIE for! My mother was helping us look for venues and spoke with Anand and Janelle on a whim. We were so lucky that they had an opening in December and could accommodate a small wedding party. They were incredibly flexible with our requests and made sure that all the guests were as safe as possible with social distancing. We hired the in-house pianist and I couldn't have asked for a more magical wedding with classical music playing. The food was delicious and the whole event was short and well organized. The ballroom looked beautiful in winter. We used jewel tones for our decorations which went well with some of the Christmas decor they had up. We took our wedding photos outside and the orange brick made for a nice backdrop to our photos. We were overall really pleased with the service, the food, and how kind they were to accommodate our party with such short notice. 10/10 would recommend this place for an intimate wedding or party.
I had my wedding here on October 10, 2020 and I'd highly recommend Mozart's. We had our ceremony and reception there in the Amadeus ballroom. Janelle and Anand were extremely accommodating and went above and beyond to make our day perfect. They coordinated everything with my wedding planner and were happy to answer my emails or calls. We loved that at Mozart's we weren't just another wedding, we felt like family. Susie Newman was our officiant and she did a lovely job. We've always enjoyed eating at Mozart's so we were excited they were our caterer. For dinner we had Beef Stroganoff, German Roast Pork Loin, Redskin mashed potatoes, vegetables and best of all pastries. Our guests loved the pastries at the end of the night. Our cake was gorgeous and delicious. All of our friends and family felt safe and had a fun time. We are truly grateful to Anand, Doris, Janelle and the whole Mozart's team for making our wedding perfect.
It was wonderful to get married here! Anand and Janelle were accommodating, flexible, and prompt. Helped us feel safe and distanced while still being intimate and very special. Guests (and we) loved the salmon and raspberry cake especially! Beautiful venue and patio. I can't say enough how much of a breeze organizing food, drink, set-up was, Mozarts really took care of the hard parts. If you have a larger wedding, it may be helpful to have coordinator to help with timing of things, but we did not have one and were fine, and Janelle was more than willing to help with whatever we needed! Thank you again and again!
We want to express our gratefulness and highest recommendation for mozarts as a wedding venue. Imagine planning for a wedding of 80, downsizing to 60 due to covid restrictions, then downsizing again to 20 attendees and 40 carryout, but receiving complete support and flexibility from our wedding venue. Arand and Janelle adjusted as family might when someone close to us became ill. They went above and beyond to make the ballroom cozy and everyone who watched on zoom, or attended the wedding remarked about the beauty of the venue. Mozarts even prepared meals to go for those who stopped by after the ceremony and our bride and groom were able to spend time with all of their guests individually. Through all the changes made in our schedule the staff at Mozarts was not only flexible, but also brilliant in making suggestions that would improve the celebration. We couldn't have asked for a better venue.
My fiance (now wife) recently were married here back in July. We had originally scheduled our wedding for April, but with COVID restrictions we were forced to reschedule. When we presented the possibility to postpone, Mozart's (Anand/Janelle) was extremely accommodating and understanding. We had an unbelievable experience, it was personable, intimate, fun, and memorable. The ballroom seats between 100 and 150, but call to check on the specific number. Mozart's is also known for their unbelievable bakery treats and fine dining. We would absolutely recommend setting up a tour to check this place out. The rates beat every other venue in Columbus by far and you get the pleasure of helping small business.
Originally we were supposed to have the wedding reception at Mozart's however due to Covid-19 we decided on an intimate ceremony and have Mozart's cater the food and bake our wedding cake. Throughout the whole planning process, Janelle, Mozart's event manager, was incredibly understanding and helpful. Very fast responses to all my e-mails and just a very pleasant person to work with. The food tasted amazing (we went with the Swiss chicken and the beef Stroganoff with mashed potatoes and Ratatouille for sides) and the cake was honestly GORGEOUS on the outside and was very fresh and very balanced on the inside. We ordered a mini variety dessert tray with the cake and that also received so many compliments on being very yummy. All the portions were generous and the quality of all the food and desserts was fantastic. Mozart's came through with all the changes and both the owner Anand and Janelle were very easy to work with and very understanding. I couldn't recommend them enough. Very pleased with our experience.
Joelle and Anand and all of the staff at Mozart's were absolutely incredible from start to finish. They were always available for every question we had, helped guide us through some of the trickier bits, and were on hand through the entire ceremony and reception to make sure things went smoothly. I have always loved going to Mozart's, ever since I was a kid, and to have them create our food (incredible), our cake (stunning and delicious), and help us plan our perfect day was a dream.
The ballroom gives a feeling of both intimacy and a grand European feast hall. We felt like we were in a castle, and the touches of charm from the history of the company and the Austrian composer namesake were perfect.
I truly can't recommend them highly enough. If you want a gorgeous, personalized wedding with the best food and most stunning cake, they should be your go to.
We planned our wedding in two months and couldn’t have done it without the help from the wonderful team at Mozart’s’s. From the initial walkthrough with Adnan to the planning with Janelle. It was seamless. Our wedding and reception were perfect and beautiful. From dinner to the cake and champagne toast everything was taken care of. The Beechwold Tavern Room is intimate and beautifully appointed. We couldn’t have asked for more.
Janelle was wonderful and very responsive; everything was handled well and the reception was great. Good food (though the beef stroganoff was very peppery and had bay leaves in it) great wine, great music, amazing venue — and we got a discount for booking off season. The mushroom soup was to die for, and everyone raved about the food. They worked with me on my budget and planned every detail to make our wedding a memorable occasion. I would not hesitate to recommend them.
We got married on August 11, 2019. Anand and his team turned our dream into reality. Janelle was our go to woman. She handled every question and request with the utmost professionalism and decorum. We chose Mozart’s because 1. Anand won us over with a tasting menu that blew us away 2. Just talking to Anand and the way he made us feel so comfortable the same day we met him...we had no doubts that he would make our day glorious. 3. Small or big he said all weddings are treated the same and strives to create a perfect day for couples and their guests. 4. Oh my gosh....the cake...just spectacular!! 5. Let’s not forget the hors d'oeuvres and dinner! Perfection!!!! 6. Anand even got silver cups (originally the decorations included red roses and gold cups) to bring everything together!!!
To this day our guests are still talking about how wonderful everything was. From the venue, atmosphere, food and just everything. I would highly recommend this venue to make your dream wedding come true!
Couldn't have asked for a better wedding reception! Mozarts did a fantastic job both before and during the event. Janelle, Anand, and staff were really wonderful and easy to work with; they were so helpful with planning and made everything go smoothly the day of. The food was all delicious and cake was beautiful! We got so many compliments from our guests. Thank you!
We had our wedding reception in June hosted by Mozart’s Cafe. Coincidently, it was also the owner and his wife’s anniversary. Anand and Doris were gracious enough to take our date of the 22nd.
Mozart’s is the perfect classic old Hollywood atmosphere and the food is always fantastic. We had a very diverse attendance at our reception and the food selections met everyone’s preferences. Our cake was beautiful and delicious. Jenelle met with us often and help plan out the details. We had a wonderful night of classic Piano by Paul, DJ’d music and a live classic rock band. Very reasonable prices for providing everything you could need.
Our reception at Mozarts was outstanding. Anand and Janelle were a delight to work with. They were understanding about the need to be as frugal as possible. The cake was amazing both on the outside and the taste. The food was incredible. The staff was great, and were understanding when we were a little late to the reception. It was a gorgeous venue, and they were so helpful with working with our decorator to be able to get in early and decorate. Highly recommend!
We were very pleased with our wedding experience at Mozart’s! It was easy to book, they were clear and accommodating. They have a beautiful ballroom with a flexible space that can accommodate small or large parties. We had our ceremony in front of the baby grand piano which we rented so a family member could play during the ceremony. Everything was set up and ready to go when we arrived. We also did our reception there (because why not make it easy on ourselves and stick to just one place!). The food was awesome, we got a beer/wine package that included soft drinks and coffee so everyone got something they wanted. The cake was delicious and we even had some leftover. The only thing I could think of that we have done differently is making sure the lights were dimmed at the reception but that didn’t cross my mind until after. This place is perfect for a wedding!!! The pictures turned out nice too which is sometimes hard inside. They also have a little bridal suite. We loved it especially because pretty much everything was included so we didn’t have to rent table clothes or other silly things.
We had a wonderful experience with all the staff, the Wedding Planner, and the owners of Mozart’s. We had an intimate event for a second wedding for both of us. We were in the Beechwold Tavern Room and the staff set it up just as we wanted. The cost was very reasonable and the food was delicious. We received MANY compliments about the event.
My husband and I got married on March 23rd of this year! We had an absolutely beautiful California style wedding. Janell and the staff made everything so easy for us. My mother keeps getting comments three months later on how amazing the food and tasted. Lots of room for dancing and socializing. I would recommend Mozart’s cafe to anyone and not just for a big event. Thank you, janell for everything you did to make my day so special.
My wife and I had our wedding reception at Mozart's on Saturday, April 27th. We had about 90 people there so there was plenty of room for our guests and a dance floor. The room was decorated beautifully and the food was delicious and plentiful. We went with the afternoon tea and additional food items so that people could eat at the leisure. The desserts were to die for. Pete, our piano player, was fantastic and the staff were all so very friendly. Parking is abundant there for that size wedding and I felt that the price was very reasonable.
I couldn't have asked for a better place for our reception and I give it my highest recommendation!
Choosing Mozart’s as our wedding vendor for our reception was one of the best decisions of our wedding planning.
The venue was beautiful and spacious. There were no complaints from our guests about the parking. There was plenty of room to set up the gift table, sign in, and set up our seating chart. The space was very accommodating for our guests during the cocktail hour and we had a live pianist provided by Mozart’s. The ballroom was open and offered a patio to our guests to enjoy some fresh air. Our outside pictures turned out amazing. Mozart’s even put a personalized congratulations on the marquee outside the restaurant.
The owner and wedding planner were wonderful to work with. They were welcoming, dedicated, and eager to make our day perfect. They exceeded our expectations and accommodated all of our requests. They were organized and thorough during the planning phase and the execution phase was just about flawless. The reception pictures turned out crisp and clear even with the mood lighting.
The food was delicious and complimented by many of our guests. There was a variety in the menu to accommodate all dietary needs. Mozart’s also provided us with a gorgeous and delicious wedding cake that we had no regrets with.
Overall, our experience was exceptional. I would recommend everyone to share their wedding day with Mozart’s.
We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Mozart's and everything was perfect! Anand and Janelle were wonderful to work with, and made planning easy. The venue was beautiful. Suzie Newman officiated the wedding and wrote such a beautiful, personalized ceremony that our guests thought that she had known us for years. The food was delicious and our guests loved it. Anand and Janelle helped us choose entrees and appetizers which complemented each other and were perfect for our fall wedding. The cake and pastries were both gorgeous and delicious. Mark's classical piano music was absolutely beautiful and gave our wedding an extra touch of elegance. The service was great and everyone we worked with went above and beyond to make our day special. We look forward to celebrating our anniversaries at Mozart's for years to come!
My daughter’s bridesmaids and I hosted a bridal shower in Mozart’s Tavern room.
The people at Mozart’s were wonderful to work with . The planning was simple and straight forward. On the day of the shower we received personal and first class attention from both the owner and his staff. They did everything they could to make our event special. In addition the food was delicious and plentiful. Our guests had a delightful time and we had many compliments. The bride-to-be was thrilled. Karen Lilly MOB
Rather than just being a venue, the advantage of Mozart's is that it is all inclusive. By securing Mozart's for your wedding, you are getting an entire package. The ballroom is vintage and restored to its glory. It is a place of class. Mozart's is known for its European cuisine and its pastries and it is a great place to share with out of town guests that come for the wedding.
We booked the large ballroom for our wedding. However, we were allowed to roam outside on the patio too. This allowed for people who enjoyed the band to stay inside and the more "introverted" types to spend a relaxing evening on the patio. Since we had a rather large group, we did the buffet with 3 items (the chicken paprikash, weiner schnitzel and the spaetzle). It was served in an attentive and efficient manner. The only drawback was that due to the spaetzle being so good, a vegetarian in our part said they ran out. The food was tastefully done just like in the restaurant. It did not taste bland and uninspired like some catered weddings at other places. The cakes were exceptional.
The owner Anand and catering manager Janelle are very detailed oriented. They let us tour the space and sat down with us to thoroughly put together a thoughtful package at an affordable price. The pianist Mark is a skilled and passionate piano player. If you are looking for something different than a hotel ballroom that has character and great catering onsite, Mozart's is the place for you!
We used Mozart's for our wedding venue and reception. Since we were having a winter wedding, we wanted a place that could host us indoors and that would be easy to drive to even if we had a snow storm. In addition, Mozart's beautiful ballroom and ability to take care of all the details (linens, flowers for the tables, appetizers, dinner, desserts) was a major factor in our decision to select them.
The location was lovely, the food was excellent, and I was beyond impressed with the wait staff and service throughout the whole day. Anand and Janelle made our day as perfect as a venue could hope for.
I didn't hire a wedding coordinator, but I wish I had done so, simply to coordinate rehearsal and some small day of order of events, but once our wedding day at Mozart's started, they made everything go smoothly.
Our 160 person wedding began with canapés and wine from 3:30-4:30, wedding ceremony at 4:30, dinner from 5-6:00, and then desserts and dancing. It was untraditional, but tons of fun. For dinner, we selected market vegetables, redskin mashed potatoes, salmon with dill sauce (amazing!), and chicken marsala. For desserts, we had petit fours for our guests and a small cheesecake for the bride groom.
We paid approximately $85 per guests for appetizers, dinner, desserts, wine/beer, and tax/service fees, then also paid for additional time and some extra flowers on the tables, as well as for a pianist for the appetizer hour. This was more than I'd originally budgeted but I thought it was well worth the result and I was VERY glad for a simplified process in which I didn't have so many vendors to deal with.
As our 50th wedding anniversary approached, we had a talk – trip or party? We choose party. Where and what should it be? We made a list for our dream celebration:
• somewhere big enough for dancing
• have a sense of elegance
• offer superb food choices
• let us bring in our own beer (son is in the craft beer business)
• a place we could afford
• provide supportive, expert and friendly help in planning and execution .
When we talked to Anand and Janelle we knew this was the right place. We hit the jackpot with Mozarts.
We were married the day after Christmas in Wisconsin, so it was a winter event. The ballroom was gorgeously arranged and decorated. Our friends and family were treated to a fabulous fun night, served by helpful, cheerful but not intrusive staff. The evening was a smash. The pastries and goodies were way too good to be easily described in words, but here’s a try -- scrumptious, beautiful, sinfully delicious, artful, abundant.
We still get smiles on our faces each time we think of that night and we will always be thankful to Mozarts for making this such a memorable night for us and our friends.
I highly recommend Mozart's if you are looking for a wonderful place for a brunch. We had a post wedding brunch here and it was perfect. We had a breakfast buffet. The food was delicious and there was so much to choose from! Our guests had a great time lingering over breakfast and enjoying a little more time together before heading back home.
We had a fairly large wedding shower at Mozart's and it was absolutely fantastic! The space is gorgeous and the atmosphere is very classy. Mozart's manager Janelle, worked with my family throughout the planning. She was incredibly accommodating, very responsive and eased our stress every step of the way. We had a sit down brunch and a few guests had dietary restrictions. Mozart's gladly accommodated our needs even when we made last minute changes. The service at the event was great and everything went without a hitch. I highly recommend hosting your next event there. I will absolutely go back to them whenever I am hosting an event!
Numbers: ~160 guests, Reception time-length: ~6pm-10:30pm
Mozart's was a wonderful place to have our wedding reception, and the perfect fit for the atmosphere we desired--classy and comfortable, with an emphasis on a great dance floor. They provided the food & catering services (which were both top-notch and received great feedback from our guests); the wedding cake (delicious again, made by their in-house, celebrated Austrian baker); the alcohol; and all of the necessary linens, chairs and decor (we added some more by choice, but the reception hall/ballroom without anything added is very elegant). Mozart's ballroom comes with a lovely, restored dance floor, as well as a perfectly sufficient sound system (complete with two large speakers, wireless microphones, and available hookups for a DJ's equipment). Mozart's also just officially opened up a very nice, shaded outdoor patio, that they worked hard to get assembled before our wedding day so that guests could enjoy drinks and conversation in the fresh air when desired.
We worked with both Janelle, the events coordinator, as well as Anan, the restaurant owner, for every step of the reception-planning process, and they were very professional, kind, and flexible to work with. Taste tests and visits were coordinated easily and without hitch, and communication through email and phone was always very prompt and efficient. They both were happy and willing to switch up any aspect of the big day so that we were completely comfortable with the seating, budget, food, and so on.
If you are looking for an affordable, elegant, and warm environment for your wedding reception (or ceremony) venue, with no hidden or superfluous costs (as the venue includes the catering, alcohol, wedding cake, linens and chairs, & more) (that is centrally located in Columbus, Ohio) Mozart's is where you want to have it! I would highly recommend them for any event!
We held a cocktail hour, short ceremony and dinner reception with Mozarts for our wedding and it was exactly how we wanted it. The ballroom was the perfect size, beautiful space, and the staff and owners at Mozarts couldn't have been more accommodating and friendly to us and our guests. we were in constant contact with the staff before the event to make sure everything would go as planned and to get the menus and bar offerings chosen. The food and desserts at Mozarts are always on-point, which is why we chose to be there in the first place. Food is important and they nail it every time we go there. They even made a few special dishes for guests with certain dietary needs. The added benefit of having such a great rental space, tables, chairs, table dressings, music and caring staff made it a perfect choice. Don't hesitate choosing Mozarts for a wedding event.
I would highly recommend Mozart's Cafe for your Bridal Shower or Wedding Reception! TheI would highly recommend Mozart’s Café for your Bridal Shower or Wedding Reception! The staff is very friendly and eager to help you envision all of the details that make your event memorable. The Amedeus Ballroom is a gorgeous space with an alcove at one end with a baby grand piano, a full bar and also an outdoor seating area. The tables, chairs and linens are high quality and the entire atmosphere is classy and not overdone. Most notable about Mozart’s is the amazing European food! My guests raved about the delicious food choices and professional service. There were selections for children, vegan and gluten-free dieting guests as well. The real show-stopper was the European styled wedding cake and pastries made in-house by Doris Saha. She handmade beautiful marzipan roses that topped my cake that were really too beautiful to eat! The entire wedding reception was extremely reasonably priced compared to other venues in town. Since our wedding, my husband and I have attended other wedding receptions that cost much more and had far less personality! For the price and for all that you receive, Mozart’s is a great place to host your wedding reception!
