Mr. Tux

This was by far my worst wedding vendor experience. Leading up to the wedding day as my bridal party went into their fittings the waits were unbearable (up to 2 hours!). However, this was by far the least of our worries. They do not allow you to go in and pick up your tux until the day before the wedding. This leaves no margin for error… and unfortunately they had ordered the wrong sizes for 2 of the junior groomsmen!!!!! We were there for 5 hours debating what we can do to get these tuxes for the boys. Five hours the day before my wedding when I had hundreds of other things to wrap up – it was a NIGHTMARE. I missed my mani/pedi appointment and was not able to go to bed until after midnight on a day that should be relaxing. Then they wanted to charge me for rush shipping for the new tuxes. I showed them my receipt, which clearly states they guarantee fit if they completed the measurements so they were not able to charge me (but I had to pull out the receipt – thank goodness I kept it!). Then the biggest nightmare of all… the tuxes did not come in on time the next day! I had 3 members of my bridal party standing in the tux store for 2 hours waiting for the UPS truck… it was ridiculous… they were of course very late, and delayed our event. My uncle actually wanted to sue them for the amount of time we lost at our event (we were paying by the hour). The attitude of the employees was the worst – my aunt even called me after her son was fitted because the woman who took the measurements was fighting the entire time with one of the other employees because she did not want to work in the Tux section. She still believes that because of her attitude that is why the measurements were taken incorrectly. Finally, the best man (who went to their Pembroke Pines location), asked the groom if he could borrow his vest (groom was not using it) later in the night when he took off his jacket… the shirt they gave him was 3 sizes too big and he was embarrassed to walk around with it. I looked and it was AWEFUL! What a joke… I can’t believe this place is still in business. They have no respect for time or the importance of these events. They should have had a manager come out and handle the disaster on the day before my wedding. I requested to speak to a manager several times, but got nothing. Whoever is the owner of this business should realize how terrible their customers are treated as they prepare for some of the most important events in their life. My entire family dealt with this problem, and I know none of us will ever make the mistake of selecting Mr. Tux as our vendor. At least Men’s Warehouse has some standardized process, and respect for their customers.

Groom, Best Man, 9 Groomsmen, 1 Jr Groomsmen, and 2 Fathers rented from the Pembroke Pines location and ALL were pleased with their suits! Prices were reasonable and staff was very friendly and accomodating. Each fitting was hassle free and color coordination was not stressful at all. Easy and convenient location, returns were not a problem at all either. We were happy we picked them for rentals!

The people are nice and try to help you as much as possible but........they are disorganized and the wait time is unreal. Everytime we went, we had to wait at the bar at Chillis which is next door. Thats is how long we had to wait. It was around prom season...that was their excuse....... SO HIRE SEASONAL HELP!!!!!! Never using them AGAIN!!! The grooms suit was promised to us at 3 different times!!!!!! Get it together people!!

This place was amazing. Well organized and got everything in time. Very heplful and friendly. Nelson Pacheco was my sales person he was great. If you decide to get the tuxes from this place i really recommend Nelson (Salesperson)

All associates were awesome and they had the colors to match the bridesmaid dresses. Highly recommend

At first they were great. They helped choose the tuxes, find the right color tie to match the dresses and more. but when my groom's dad when to return teh groom's tux we were charged for teh tux because it had a small tear in the pants. It was a tear in the seam (which can be fixed with a few simple stiches)...they actually fix tuxedos on the spot if it doesnt fit so i dont see why we were charged so much money to stich a small tear in the seam. I was very dissapointed about that.

Suit was nice, but alterations were not done very good.

Overall I can't complain, they had good prices, good service and everything went as planned. All the guys were happy with their suits and service too. MUCH better than men's wearhouse who doesn't even let you try on your suit!

A bit of a disaster.. They kept messing up our order for some reason.. it was different on paper than it was in the system, and it was just making things confusing. The people were very nice, and we used them over Men's Warehouse because we preferred their selection.. though Mr. Tux's tux shoe rental selection is horrible.

I did have some difficulty with them at first being able to match the color of the bridesmaids dresses, but they worked really hard at it and it all worked out in the end. They offered hands down the best customer service out of all the vendors I worked with. Just make sure to make an appointment, so you don't end up waiting.

at the beginning I had problem because me and my wife and pick up the color and styles and the wedding went to get size they had nothing in the system and everything had to be re do. after that everything went great.

Getting fitted was easy and conveninent! Cost was low. Only problem returing the next was difficult. The guys including groom were undressing that night to make sure suits got back before noon on Monday morning thanks to my new brother-in-law and my sister who returned the items. Otherwise, suits were comfortable and light for our venue-beach! They looked great in the pictures!

Used this business for my husband's tuxedo and all of the groomsmen. Tuxedos were in great condition and staff was attentive.

After not being able to see the suit before renting it at the bigger franchise, I found Mr Tux and Akmar...they have most of their stuff in stock for people to see and try on (in the correct size).... Very friendly, professional and knowledgeable....Highly personalized service and great value ....just what retail and customer service should be... Would recommend them time and time again...

No complaints whatsoever about this vendor. The manager was warm and friendly and listened to our wants/needs/style. He helped us pick out the perfect tuxedos for everyone and helped us be bold and still be ourselves. The prices are good and the groom's tux was free as appreciation for our business. They were organized and sent us phone and email reminders about fittings and payments for all the participants in the wedding.
