Mr. Worldwide Catering

My daughters wedding was tonight, and as I'm sitting here, Thinking about the day and all the vendors I could not go to sleep without leaving a review to let everybody know how amazing Mr. World wide catering is. The food was delicious ! We received so many compliments on how good everything tasted.... BUT EVEN MORE, the level of professionalism was outstanding! They catered to the bride and groom and made sure that they were taking care of. We were concerned because they were a newer company, and we did not have time to do a taste test. The food was so flavourful and delicious I wish that I had left over to have tomorrow. The cost was extremley affordable based on the quality of the food and the amount of food that you are served. Nobody left hungry. They went above and beyond with service and quality for tonight's wedding. You guys are amazing. Cheers ! ♡ Nicole ( Mother of the bride)

It's easy to write this review since Jose was on top of his 'ish from the very start. He was accommodating to our planning this wedding from another country, his food was awesome, and his prices were so reasonable. Everyone that helped on the day was polite and efficient. I barely got to eat, of course, but we got tons of compliments on the food!

Jose and his team did an excellent job for our Wedding. Everything was delicious and beautifully laid out. We highly recommend.

Mr Worldwide catering was AMAZING! I would highly recommend hiring him for your wedding. The meat was so tender, not dry and very flavorful. The cute little passed appetizers were beautifully arranged and also delicious. He was very gracious with me during these two years (thanks covid) and postponing my wedding. He was also patient with me and let us customize our menu exactly how we wanted. We are so glad we chose Jose and I would recommend him to anyone planning a wedding or event! We had 120 guests and chose plated dinner (initially had chosen buffet but then switched due to having more room in budget)

My fiance and I got married on 12/10/21 and Mr. Worldwide Catering was able to squeeze me and my fiance in for a tasting on short notice 1 month out from our wedding date. Working with him was an absolute slam dunk for my wedding! Very punctual, professional, and the food was absolutely delicious! The presentation of the food was also amazing. The guests at my wedding were raving about the food and how great the service was. The staff were very friendly and acommodating. This was an easy and stress-free experience. Very reasonably priced and well worth it! I would hope to hire Mr. Worldwide Catering for a future event (baby shower?) and would absolutely recommend his catering service to anyone.

Most delicious food ever! We wanted Italian Food for our big day and I will admit, I am very picky and we tried a lot that I did not like, until we had our tasting with Mr Worldwide. His food was so amazing we booked him on the spot. He was very responsive the entire process and helped my our wedding a day we could never forget. Highly recommend him for any event :)

Editing my original review in response to what Jose said, HE CANCELLED 5 days before our wedding. Honestly cannot believe you are straight up lying. Your great reviews were the reason we decided to go with you! HUGE MISTAKE. I will break down all of our communication. You sent me 2 emails in total, one on 2/7/2021, this was our initial contact and you sent over the menu for us to look at. We were excited to have found you and sent over the deposit that same day!!! I texted you on 5/24 and set up the food tasting for 6/1. Yes you came to us but we didn’t request that. You literally asked for my address and said you’d be there. We never asked you to accommodate 6 people for the food tasting, our parents were there for support and you said it was fine that they join us for the tasting because you had more than enough food. Anyhow, you sent me another email on 6/1/2021, this was the day of our food tasting and again it only included the food menu, so that we’d be able to make our choices. After our food tasting on 6/1 you NEVER followed up or checked in with us until WE finally reached out to you. I sent you a text on 9/14 (3 months later) and gave you our final food selections. I even asked if it would be ok to add churros to the package and you said NO PROBLEM. You DID NOT say anything about giving you a final guest count 10 days before. I told you through text that I would hopefully have the final guest count in about a week and you literally said “sounds good”. On September 24th at 8:09 am you texted me and said I needed to give you the final guest count because you needed to place the order by 5pm. I got back to you at exactly noon 12pm (I was stuck in a plane flying from WA to CA) and told you our final guest count was 75. You responded “thank you. I’ll send you a request for final payment shortly. Do you have your timeline” You never stated when the payment needed to be made by. Again this was all on 9/24. Some time in the middle of the night I received an email from Venmo stating you were requesting the final payment. Then EXACTLY 2 days later I received a notification from VENMO saying $500 was refunded to me by Mr. Worldwide. You didn’t call, you didn’t text, you didn’t email, you didn’t contact me! And to top it off you’re lying!!!!You NEVER mentioned anything about giving you the final guest count 10 days before the wedding. You hardly communicated with me at all! You never even sent over a contract. I had to remind you to send it to me and you still never did. Everything was based on your word. I have all of the text messages, I would encourage you to read through our conversation before responding with straight out LIES. If you take your craft so seriously then why didn’t you reach out to me? The fact that you can’t even take accountability for what you said and DIDN’T say is very disappointing and ridiculous. And for you to say you sent me 3 different requests for final payment, yeah you did send me 3 requests, 2 of them were in the same day 9/25 and the other on 9/26 but you didn’t even give me a chance to pay?!Nor did you call or text me to tell me you needed the payment ASAP. You just said I’d be receiving the money request “shortly”. I was caring for my dying grandfather, and had to plan his funeral which took place exactly 4 days before our wedding. I posted pictures of our conversation on Yelp for those of you who are on the fence. Literal proof of what WAS said. I would hate for this to happen to anyone else.

We had are 36th renewal wedding on June 6, 2021. Chef Jose had started with us in 2019 planning are big day for June 7, 2020. Of course it was postponed two times he was so supportive throughout the whole ordeal. My family and friends love the food and service. Him and his staff are top notch everything was absolutely amazing he deserves more than five stars. Definitely will use him again.

Jose it the consummate professional. You can tell he takes great pride in his food and service. We could not have been in better hands. The food was delicious, the drinks outstanding and the service immaculate! 11/10 would recommend…. Highly!!

We honestly weren't sure how to start this review because saying that Jose and his staff were THE best wouldn't do them justice. Food and service was 10 /10 amazing. When we first reached out to Jose he worked with us and took his time to put together a menu that would fit our theme and our love of good food. Our wedding was March 12th 2021 and leading up to that day we had to change our venue about 3 times due to COVID-19. Jose was incredibly understanding every time that we told him there was another change. The venue that we ended up having the wedding at required a meeting with us and our caterer, and Jose was there on time and ready to answer any questions or concerns that anyone had. We even hired a last minute bartender through him. The day of our wedding, Jose and his staff were there on time and ready for everything that happened ( we had some unexpected rain ). He went out of his way to bring us food and drinks, and his staff even brought appetizers to the bridal suite after the ceremony. 🙌 At the end of the night all of our guests kept talking about how good the food was and how much they loved Jose, his staff, and bartender. Honestly, look no further because you won't find a better person to cater your event than Jose at Mr. Worldwide Catering.

I was married in December of 2018 in South Orange County. We chose Mr. Worldwide Catering to cater our wedding, and we couldn't have been more pleased! Jose is so easy to work with (flexible, personable, professional), is incredibly affordable (I truly mean, actually affordable for a small budget!), and makes amazing food. We had people complimenting us on the food AT the wedding-- it was that good (we chose chicken and tri-tip). He was able to provide linens, plates, flatware, glasses as well as an excellent staff. For no additional fee, he generously cut and served our cake. We cannot speak more highly of this company! Jose and his company should be at the top of your list.

Jose Carbajal is the BEST person we could have chosen to cater our big day. Everything about his service was top-notch and I cannot tell you how good out food was! It makes my mouth water just thinking about it now... He came to our house to do a tasting and from then on we were hooked!

Jose is such a pleasure to work with! He catered our wedding april 21, 2018. He responded quickly and helped in any way that he could from the moment we booked him on. He even came to our house to do a tasting which was unreal. We had problems with caterers not even replying to our emails to make a time to do a tasting so he was a breath of fresh air. And his food is AMAZING! Everyone at our wedding kept saying it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding before. From the appetizers On it all was PERFECT and soooo yummy! Food was really important to us so we are super glad we went with mr. Worldwide. We were also told that his staff was extremely friendly to our guests which made us even happier. I highly recommend Jose For your next event and will def use him for ours!
