We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. We both knew we loved her the second we got to the engagement session. She made us both feel so comfortable and I loved how natural our photos turned out! She was so great with communication leading up to the wedding and day of, she couldn’t have been better. She was professional yet fun, kept the day moving without making us feel rushed, and besides the posed family/wedding party photos, she just let the day unfold was there to capture it. We would have her as our photographer again in a heartbeat!

Mattea is so amazing and did a wonderful job for both our wedding and engagement pictures. She made us feel so comfortable and my husband who hates pictures actually did not want to stop taking them he was having so much fun with it. Mattea is AMAZING. From our engagement shoot to the wedding day, she made sure we felt comfortable and took every detail into account. The jewelry I wore on my wedding day was gifted to my grandmother from my grandfather who recently passed away, and Mattea captured the most precious pictures of everything that we will cherish forever. She's extremely professional, all while being SO fun to work with! We recently got our wedding day pictures back, and I'm not sure how to choose which ones to print, because they're all PERFECT! Mattea and her assistant did an AMAZING job on our wedding photos! The photos are timeless and elegant and exactly what we wanted! We have gotten SO many compliments on the photos! I am so happy we hired Mattea for our engagement & wedding photos! One of the main reasons I chose Mattea was because I wanted my pictures to be timeless, beautiful, and not seem overly edited. Mattea definitely delivered! I love that Mattea would tell me when to fix my hair, adjust my clothing, how to pose, etc. Having her direct us was critical because we have no idea what poses to do. I loved working with Mattea! Our photos are so beautiful, she captured many candid moments that were hilarious to look at post wedding. The portraits are also amazing. She does an incredible job of making you feel comfortable and keeps it fun and light. We wanted to do our engagement photos in Prescott, AZ, and she met us up there to take pictures by the lake and made it a very fun day. She also met with us prior to our wedding day at the venue to plan out the day and find the best spots. She has a great eye and always put us in good light and captured us at great angles. She made our wedding day fun, was always early to arrive, and completely on top of everything throughout the day as well which made it so easy for us. I don't even know where to begin with how amazing Mattea was- my (now husband!) and I were absolutely blown away with her photography skills, fantastic personality, and professionalism. She really captures the light and airy look in her photos, the wedding story, as well as captures the best candid moments of all the emotions. Mattea was quick to reach out and have a face time meeting to meet with us and assisted us with making sure that our timeline for the day was not only doable, but what we wanted. We hit the jackpot and my husband and I are incredibly happy with our decision to book her for our big day. We would recommend her to anyone. Even our guests were complementing on how professional she was. She captured every moment and made our day extra special and for that, we are incredibly grateful.

Simply put, Mattea is the best! She is incredibly talented at telling the story of a wedding day, not just capturing those photos you expect to see. I can't even describe how amazing Mattea is! She is seriously the nicest person ever, and is THE BEST at making anyone and everyone feel comfortable. I've never met anyone in my life who can strike up a conversation with anyone and just hit it off immediately over and over again! She made me and my husband, our wedding party, and family and friends all feel so comfortable the day of the wedding. In our images we all look like ourselves, not like we are in some stiff uncomfortable pose. She captured so many things at the wedding that I didn't even know were happening, and really told the story of our entire day so well. People who weren't at our wedding can look through our album and feel like they were there, and we are so grateful for that. My husband and I could not have been happier with how wonderful it was working with Mattea and Courtney on our big day! We also had an amazing time when Mattea took our engagement pictures. My husband is not a fan of taking pictures but she made us feel so comfortable and he even had fun! Mattea was so wonderful! We were unsure of the weather but everything worked out so well and she was extremely flexible! She made the session really fun - we all know engagement sessions can be awkward. We actually had a great time. She got our photos done very quickly and we loved all of them! We worked with Mattea for our engagement shoot then with both Mattea and Courtney on the day of our wedding. From the first meeting with Mattea, we knew it would be a great match. She was kind, fun, organized, and very caring. She made us feel as comfortable as possible during our engagement shoot. Leading up to the wedding, she did a great job of staying in contact and working closely with us (and our planner) to ensure our timeline was set up for the day. Goodness how do I even wrap up the amazingness that is MRD Photography into one review?! My wife and I had such a great experience working with Mattea and her husband, Courtney. We left our initial meeting with Mattea knowing she was the one. We bonded over the horrors of our middle school selves and talked storm chasing. We loved everything about working with mattea! She was so fun and made us feel extremely comfortable during our entire engagement and wedding. She was the only photographer we talked to who actually asked about us and seemed to care about who we were and not just our money. My husband and I could not be more satisfied with our choice of going with MRD photography!! Mattea and Courtney were both incredible on our big day. I highly recommend Mattea! We love our photos -- I feel like I am reliving our day when I look through them. I don't really enjoy having my picture taken. We hired Mattea to do family photos of the two of us (married May 18, 2014) and our 1-year old Corgi puppy, Ella, in January 2016. Mattea was so easy to work with when setting up the session! She was flexible with the date when weather was uncooperative (first no snow, then really cold). She also didn't flinch when we were a little late because we had forgotten the check and needed to pick up some cash. The session itself was crazy fun! Mattea was constantly taking photos so we were sure to get some very spontaneous shots alongside the more posed images. We all laughed and chatted and walked around (the shoot was outside), and it was very fluid and easy going. At the end, I was already really happy with the experience and I hadn't seen a single photo. We got the photos within a week! First on Dropbox and then a couple days later on CD by mail. These photos are amazing! And there are a ton of them (>150 images )! Mattea gave us all of the digital files in the price of the shoot, which also makes her the best deal around. Actually, considering how much we love these pictures, it's really more of a steal than a deal. I'm so glad we found her to work with as it has been an absolute pleasure from start to finish. We have already recommended her to some of the couples in our building who were looking for a local photographer and we definitely recommend her to all of you as well!

Mattea was the epitome of professional and a great pleasure to work with!
