These guys are great and amazing to work with
Gina always responded promptly and answered all of our questions. We had a hard time deciding what we wanted our reception to look like so we bothered her quite a few times while trying to decide but she was very patient, helpful, and provided us with a lot of information to help us make our final decisions. We were able to help build what we wanted our monogram to look like so my husband enjoyed helping in that process. I remember telling my groom during our First Dance how beautiful the lighting was. They did a great job and I highly recommend!
I hired this vendor for my wedding at the Four Seasons Resort in Las Colinas, Texas taking place on October 6, 2018. I corresponded with them for several months via phone and email (mostly email thank goodness since I have proof) about the design of my wedding and the services they were being hired for - drape and lighting. I live in Baltimore and flew in specifically to have a walk-through at the venue with them on August 10, 2018 - I then also moved forward with hiring them for the event. I did not hear from them again until September 18th (two weeks before my wedding) in regards to questions they had - over a month after our in-person meeting. I responded to please send the questions via email as I was dealing with a medical emergency and got no questions. As of September 24th, the week before my wedding, I still did not receive any questions until I followed up on my own accord. We received our quotes for a little over $3200 on September 26th - 10 days before my wedding. I find a huge issue with this because at that point the money was due immediately and that is not a small amount of money to have to pay immediately one week before your wedding.
The day of the event, the vendors set up the drape and it fell down one hour before my wedding. Completely destroying my ceremony setup (ie shattered vases, flower arrangements torn apart, stage soaked - thank goodness for an amazing florist that was able to entirely remake all the arrangements). The wedding planner said they did not come prepared with sandbags to hold everything in place and the drape was not secure. While MRIT will argue that someone from Four Seasons was pulling on it, I called other companies the week after my wedding and was told that is industry standard practice and they failed me as a vendor because pulling on drape should not make it fall down. My wedding planner has been in the business over 20 years and down thousands of high end weddings and this has NEVER happened in her history of event planning. MRIT is falsely advertising on their social media pictures of the drape before it fell and not what it was after - which was plain straight drape that was so low you could see the wall behind it - very tacky, but had to be that way due to safety concerns that it would fall on us and the pastor during the event and ruin our wedding entirely or even worse - seriously injure us.
Additionally, I sent pictures of the lighting which was a golden or champagne color. The vendor used blue. The photographer had to make extensive edits to our pictures to try to get the blue lighting/tint out of our pictures. They promised me they had everything to deliver and they essentially had nothing.
I regret not using the more experienced vendors my wedding planner recommended. They would have cost more, but I also would have ended up with the designs that I asked for as MRIT is not capable.
To add insult to injury - I was promised a 75% refund via email and then Matt and Gina went completely silent. No answered emails or phone calls. Yet they are posting to their social media every single day working on events, vacationing, etc.
DO NOT WORK WITH THEM.
We used Gina and Matt for our draping, uplighting, and Photo Booth. We had divider doors that didn't go into the wall in our reception area and wanted them covered. They did the most amazing job hiding them and not making it look like they were hiding something. And then the uplighting just made the room! It was gorgeous when we walked in as Mr&Mrs! I couldn't get over how beautiful the room just glowed! Everyone had a blast with the Photo Booth! I wish I was able to get over to it more and have more pictures. But everyone loved it and had a blast! They worked with us with our budget to make it work, and we are so grateful they did! Highly recommend using them!
This family owned company is absolutely amazing. They made my wedding day more beautiful than I possibly could have imagined. we had weather worries (since my wedding was outside) and they had a back-up plan 100% prepared for us in case we had to move it for no extra charge. They are the nicest family, and I could tell they genuinely cared about my wedding day. I would use them again in a heartbeat.
Call Matt and Gina, now!
