Working with Bianca and Katie was such a great experience. They were really easy to communicate with and understood our needs. Some of the ladies were not sure what exactly they wanted and they were able to give perfect recommendations. I felt absolutely beautiful on my wedding day, as did my bridesmaids. My daughter had never worn makeup or had her hair professionally done and they made her feel comfortable and excited about the experience. These ladies are professional, kind, and really great to work with.

I hired MUAH Make Up and Hair for my Carmel Valley wedding which included 11 total hair and make up services. Katie and Bianca and great to work with! My trial was quick and easy, and they know what they are doing! Bianca was able to put together a make up look for me with little inspiration to work off of, I had no idea what I wanted! And Katie talked me through how to mix extensions into my bridal hairstyle for added volume. Their pricing is very reasonable compared to other options in the area, and on my wedding day they each brought in a helper and everyone was finished well ahead of schedule! Thank you MUAH!

Bianca and Katie hands down have the best makeup/hair service. These two women are absolutely incredible! During my trial and on the wedding day, I felt so comfortable and at ease which was a huge win for me! Even in the time frame we had, they both stayed completely calm. They are incredibly professional and experienced. I felt so lucky to have both Katie and Bianca there to help me feel soo confident. The girls at MUAH were the best hair and makeup duo I could ask for! When looking for hair and makeup services for my wedding, I started looking at local businesses, and found them on instagram. I was immediately drawn to their work, as it is beautiful but not too overdone. They were quick to respond to my inquiries, so I booked hair and makeup for myself and makeup for my mom. I did a bridal trial a few months before my wedding, which turned out to be the day of my engagement shoot. I am so glad I did a trial because it was less stressful on the day of, and we had the time to really talk in detail about what I was looking for. My hair was curled in a “party pony” for the trial, so I just let the pony down and my hair was perfectly curled for the engagement shoot! The day of my wedding, they arrived on time and were such a fun presence to have while getting ready! They are so upbeat and really added to the excitement of my special day. My mom is very particular about her makeup, and when I saw her after, she looked incredible! She was so happy and she wishes Bianca could come to her house every day to do her makeup. My hair and makeup turned out to be perfect, and I felt and looked beautiful in both the photos and in person! The hair and makeup lasted all night, even with my crazy moves on the dance floor! Bianca and Katie are both SO talented and wonderful to work with! In my day to day, I tend to go very light on makeup and wanted an elegant and natural look on my day. But, I also wanted professional makeup and hair that would last throughout the day. The M.U.A.H team delivered in a big way! The makeup and hair was exactly what I wanted, still looked great at the end of the night, and all of my family/friends that got theirs done that day loved what they had done as well. Bianca and Katie made it easy to book, were very responsive, professional, kind, and really paid attention to what each person wanted. I did do the trial and recommend it. It meant no surprises on the wedding day, which meant no stress. I tend to look orange after I get my makeup done professionally and mentioned that to Bianca, who understood that meant my makeup oxidizes and she was able to ensure mine didn't. I couldn't be any happier and am so thankful I found Bianca and Katie. I highly recommend them!

Bianca and Kelsey made me feel more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. Not only that, I felt like we became friends in such a short amount of time. All of my bridesmaids and wedding party members felt gorgeous, happy, and heard. One of my bridesmaids was nervous to get her makeup done, but after seeing everyone else, she knew she had to get hers done as well. After my trial, I felt beautiful, but I could have never imagined they’d listen and adjust on the day of to something that completely exceeded my expectations. I would recommend anyone and everyone to hire these amazing women. I’m sad I can’t get married again just to hang out with them, and I’m jealous of all future brides who get to be a MUAH bride. Bianca and Kelsey SLAYED our wedding hair and makeup. My bridesmaid, mom, and myself all had beautiful, natural, and most importantly - looks that lasted the whole day, INCLUDING a jump in the pool at the end of the night (ok, the hair might not have made it through the pool jump, but shockingly our makeup looked completely untouched!) They were punctual, flexible in adding in a last minute bridesmaid to the mix, and friendly. Really amazing team that have this incredible way of making you look glamorous without looking "overdone." 10/10!

I can not speak highly enough of Bianca and her team! They did an amazing job on my bridal makeup and hair. I NEVER wear make up and was really nervous to have a full face on for my wedding day. She let me do a second trial just to make sure I was comfortable with my look. I was from out of town and Bianca was always accommodating when I was going to be in town and made sure she made the time for a trail. She did really amazing work to make me look AMAZING but still myself. She is very knowledgable about what you can go without to feel like you are wearing less makeup but what is also a must for the photos. They even work very fast so you should not have to worry about being behind. We were actually an hour ahead even with an extra makeup add on! She is also very helpful with recommendations. She connected me with my amazing florist as well as 2 amazing wedding vendors that stepped in last minute to help me out! You will not regret choosing Bianca and her team!

The first thing a wedding planner (who has been in the industry for fifteen years) does when she has to plan her own wedding is choose her dream team. Vendors that she's recommended to other brides, who she trusts not only in a professional aspect but also in an artistic one. Bianca and her team have always been timely with responses, upfront with pricing and NEVER EVER late or flaky (which has been the bane of my existence with other hair & make-up artists). Bianca & Kelsey made my wedding day morning such a breeze. It seriously was one of my favorite parts of the entire wedding. I tell my own brides that it's so important who you hire for H&M because they are the first vendors you'll see that day and their attitude can make or break the vibe. Aside from vibes and professionalism, I felt beautiful on my wedding day and I remember looking at all my girls through the day and thinking "you're so gorgeous!!". I think they are anyways but the artistry that went into their hair/make-up just accentuated them perfectly. I seriously cannot recommend M.U.A.H enough. Thank you so much, ladies.

The M.U.A.H makeup and hair team did such an amazing job on my wedding day! Bianca, Araceli and crew handled makeup for myself as well as my 8 bridesmaids! Bianca was easy to communicate with throughout the process, and she really helped me create a vision to let my natural features shine. I could not have been more in love with my bridal hair and makeup, and all of my bridesmaids felt the same way! Their prices are fair and worth every penny. The crew arrived on time on my wedding day and were so kind and easy to work with. Thank you for making me feel so beautiful and comfortable on the most important day of my life!

Bianca was absolutely amazing! I did a trial run right before my engagement photos and had Bianca do my make up for my wedding day and both were absolutely flawless! Bianca and Kelsey are phenomenal partners! Bianca did an amazing job with my makeup during my 2 trial runs and during the wedding (I couldn't decide whether to go for more natural or party look). Kelsey worked her magic on my dry, thick and wavy hair both during my trial and at the wedding. They both listened to my vision while also incorporating what they think will look great on me. I highly recommend them for all glam events --wedding or not!

Bianca and Katie were an absolute dream to work with. I had a large wedding party and needed everyone ready for pictures early since we decided to do a first look. The week prior to the wedding I started getting nervous about being ready on time since one of my bridemaids has a ton of hair. Bianca not only added an extra hour to Katies schedule in the morning but also calmed my nerves and let me know they would be ready on time or early. She brought a team of 5 and I couldnt have asked for anything better. Each girl was super sweet to work with and all the girls loved their look. Bianca and Kels were so fun and professional on the day of our wedding and throughout the wedding planning process. I did a trial with both Bianca and Kels 8 weeks before my wedding and then decided I wanted to change up both hair and makeup a few weeks before the big day. I knew they would do a great job no matter what! I normally wear my hair in a ponytail and rely on tinted moisturizer and mascara for my makeup, but I loved what they did on my wedding day. I felt beautiful and completely myself! They also did a great job with my bridesmaids, mom, and mother of the groom. Everybody was happy with their hair and makeup!

MUAH did my makeup and hair for our wedding in June 2019. Bianca and Kels were so amazing!! Super friendly girls and make you feel very confident in their skills. I wanted something different than the trials and they were accommodating and made my makeup and hair PERFECT on the wedding day. I never felt so beautiful!! My mom and bridal party were also very pleased and felt pretty. They're also just fun to spend the morning with and they are efficient with time. Bianca also squeezed in my mother-in-law last minute for makeup day of. I would book them all over again so definitely recommend!!

Bianca and Katie were so wonderful to work with! They made everyone feel comfortable and beautiful in the style they chose. I had my trial about 5 months before my wedding as I was out of state and it was the only other time we would be in town before the big day. They were so warm and welcoming it put me right at ease. They really listened to what I wanted and brought the vision to life. They readily communicated leading up to to the wedding. The day of, they were so efficient, finishing a total of 9 women earlier than anticipated which was great! It gave everyone a little more time to get settled that morning. Bianca really highlighted everyone's natural beauty, unlike so many makeup artists that overdo some features. There was a hair and makeup assistant to assist and they were wonderful as well! I would absolutely recommend MUAH!

Bianca and Katie recently did makeup and hair for me and four bridesmaids and I was so impressed - I'd hire them again for any occasion in a heartbeat. From the very first time we emailed to the wedding day, they were nothing but responsive, friendly and professional. I did my trial at Bianca's house and felt instantly at ease, like I was just hanging out with girlfriends. Not to mention her cute corgi greeted me at the door. :) On our wedding day they arrived early and super flexible. Don't think twice, hire MUAH!

These women are amazing! I booked MUAH well ahead of time because I know they are very good at what they do, so I wanted to make sure I secured them for my date before they booked up. I had my makeup done by their team for another friend’s wedding and I had been following them on Instagram for a while. I had a rather large bridal party--6 bridesmaids and 2 mothers all getting hair and makeup in addition to me. Bianca and her team were so accommodating and well prepared. I had my trial done 2.5 months prior to my wedding and it went great. Bianca is so warm and personable, you feel like you’re friends and have known each other for a while. On my wedding day, Bianca also had an assistant for makeup and together they made us all look gorgeous, and on time! Kelsey Sanchez did 9 ladies’ hair. Nine in about 4 hours! She is amazing and everyone’s hair looked beautiful. Bianca communicates well and responds in a timely manner. She is very helpful with advice and answering questions. If you are in need of a MUAH team for your big day, do not hesitate! They book up fast, so don’t miss out on their amazing services!

Loved getting to work with Katie & Bianca! They came in and got to work right away, myself and my bridesmaids all have really thick long hair but we were right on time! Being in the wedding business I was so impressed with their professionalism and got so many compliments on my hair and make up! As an out of state bride I was so nervous but I highly recommend them and loved working with them on our big day!

These girls are amazing! I just got married 9/16/18 and all I can say is “wow!!” I am currently 6months pregnant, and have eczema on parts of my face. Bianca did such a great job that everyone was blown away by the fact that you couldn’t tell I was having a flair up at all. There was some magic done for sure! Kelsey did an amazing job with my hair! I knew what I kind of wanted and she make it ten times better! You two were so easy going and relaxed that you helped me get relaxed and not stress out at all. Absolutely LOVED my hair and makeup. I live in Boston and both hairstylist and makeup artist accommodated my schedule for the trial hair and makeup, which was done the day before the wedding. The ladies came to my hotel in Carmel and their prices were reasonable. They finished way before the time I gave them as my deadline. They were very friendly and flexible with my wants and needs. If you're looking for the best in Monterey county- look no further. MUAH is the way to go! Thank you so much ladies.

Kelsey was awesome! She was able to get my bridal party, mom, and myself done on time, and our hair lasted all night - and I mean ALL night! MUAH was great to work with, from contracting and initial discussion with Bianca to the trial with Kelsey, and then the event itself. Everyone was so kind and respectful, and it was so nice to be able to get ready all together at the venue, and know it was going to be exactly what we wanted. Thank you!

The MUAH team exceeded my expectations with regards to hair and makeup on my big day! They were professional, quick to respond to all my questions and had flawless execution on my wedding day with me (the bride), my bridesmaids, my Mom and even Grandma. So, why the tough review you ask? While they were a pleasure to work with, and Bianca is the best, I ended up being very surprised at the final bill. While MUAH provided a price list for services, they only verbally quoted me an hourly rate to provide touchups after the ceremony at my venue. It wasn't clear when the hourly rate started and as a result the time they quoted me (1 hour) didn't match the final bill (3 hrs). This resulted in my final bill being more than double the price I had budgeted for, YIKES. While some of this was on me because I didn't ask the right questions, some of it was also on them for not clearly explaining or providing in writing what that additional hourly rate breakdown was. As a result, I felt like their team took advantage of me, especially in the midst of a hectic stressful day. When I raised the issue with Bianca, she basically boiled it down to the fact that it was what it was, and that was it. Since my bridesmaid had already paid her on the day of, there wasn't much I could do. So, the only reason I knock down stars is because of customer service. I would expect that if I came to you with that issue, and stated that I felt taken advantage of, the least you could do is chalk it up to a miscommunication and maybe throw a $100 credit in (which wasn't even half of the additional money I didn't expect to pay). That way, I still pay for my error, but I feel like you empathize with me and acknowledge the fact that I felt taken advantage of as a customer. At the end of the day, Bianca and team did an amazing job on hair and makeup, and I would definitely recommend their work. The only thing is, make sure you understand pricing and that you are 100% clear on additional hourly rates.
