Working with Robin at Mulberry Row was wonderful. When we first met her, we showed her some inspiration photos and ideas we had. She pulled out different types of flowers and eucalyptus at her shop and walked us through the differences to help us make decisions. We wanted a whole fountain at our venue covered. Robin absolutely nailed it. Again, with our inspiration photos and conversation, she was able to pick out exactly what we wanted. Everything was gorgeous. We had decision fatigue and trusted Robin with our bridal bouquets and chuppah design. I can not say enough of how easy and wonderful she was to work with! She was also reasonably priced compared to the other florists we had talked to!
I had Mulberry Row (working with Robin) as my wedding florist and had a great experience. I sent her some Pinterest photos and I think what I got back was better than the originals. As a plus, everything was reasonably priced too. I was afraid that with a shop on Ventura and such creative arrangements that they would be pricey but that was really not the case. Of the 4 florists that I priced out, they ended up being the second cheapest for what I wanted.
Mulberry Row did a wonderful job on my flowers for my wedding. I was on a tight budget for flowers and wanted to get the most I could with staying as close to my budget as possible. I wanted something simple, but elegant and they were able to accomplish the look I wanted. I had ivory and blush flowers. Some tables also had tiered candles on them with the center pieces. We didn't want every table to look the same. They saved me a lot by coming up with ways to use things twice, such as the arrangement on the ceremony gazebo doubled as the arrangement on our sweetheart table. Also, the bridesmaid bouquets doubled as center pieces. Those were great ways to save money and the tables looked great. Whenever I called to make a payment or ask a question, someone always answered or got back to me right away if I left a message. They were professional and showed up when they said they would. I would definitely recommend them. The flowers looked beautiful.
I fell in love with the arch at this florist display the moment I saw it at the Bridal Expo earlier in the year. I knew it would frame the ceremony beautifully and it absolutely did! The photos have a beautiful ensemble of fall flowers that they helped me pick out with pussy willow branches leading up to it and around it. They arrived at the venue first and set up quickly, stress free. I only wish I had used them for my centerpieces but an aunt insisted on helping with them. If not for that and more money to spend on flowers, I would have loved to see their centerpieces and bouquets.
Mulberry Row was the perfect florist for our wedding! Robin and Alicia are extremely accommodating and flexible with flower arrangements and budget.
In our initial meeting, Robin and I brainstormed centerpiece and bouquet ideas until my vision was reached. Purple was our main wedding color and they did an outstanding job tying it into the flower arrangements on the tables, in the bouquets, and in the ceremony area.
Several of our guests commented on how beautiful the flowers were and I have to agree! I am so happy and relieved that they were so easy to work with. It made planning the rest of the wedding that much easier. I would strongly recommend Mulberry Row to any bride considering a florist!
I had a very nice experience at Mulberry Row, and Alicia and Robin are very sweet and mostly helpful. The flowers looked beautiful and were ALMOST everything that I had wanted. I have a few gripes:
- I wanted poppies, more than anything. Because of the season or something, poppies would only be buds in time for my wedding. In my contract, it was stated that they could substitute a similar flower if they couldn't get the one you asked for. Which is fine. Except they gave me DAHLIAS instead. Look it up. They don't look alike at all. The color was the same, though, so I wasn't too pissed. They showed me the dahlias and I figured they knew what they were doing, but I really don't like dahlias.
- For my aisle, I wanted it to be all flower petals in a gradient of colors. I expected a subtle, almost imperceptible change from color to color. Instead, I got stripes of color. NOT what I asked for.
- I had individual roses hung from a tree at the end of the aisle. I wanted the ribbons to be in all of my wedding colors, but they only had two of them. They were also satin instead of grosgrain (my preference), but I can't fault them on that.
To be fair, I hired them a month before the big day, and they did a great job at pulling it together. Also, no one noticed any of the flubs except me, and I didn't even notice until it was over. So, points for that. I'd hire them again, but I'd give them a lot more notice, so maybe they could give me more of what I expected next time.
LOVED LOVED LOVED my florist!! Great women with an amazing eye for detail and design! EXCELLENT to work with - flexible creative and FUN!
