This includes a drive to make sure that the museum can serve as a resource for the community it belongs to now and in the future. Throughout the museum you will find exhibits that document and narrate roughly 200 years of history related to westward expansion. The institution likewise seeks to describe the role that St. Louis played in this history, educating the public and keeping important historical stories alive.
Museum at the Gateway Arch features multiple event spaces that can be used for your special day. The first is the mezzanine. This magnetic room features a map of the country on the floor, providing visual interest and a touch of fun to your wedding. Breathtaking views envelop the space, some of which allow you to take in the skyline of the city. The mostly white event space is contemporary and moving into the Tram Lobby you are greeted by similar modern aesthetics. The industrial vibe of this space, with exposed beams and columns, contributes to this ambiance. Unique and memorable in this room is the large video wall which is sure to stand out. There is an additional option to host a private event throughout the entire museum, which would include access to both the mezzanine and Tram Lobby. Guests can enjoy the exhibits and soak in the sights of the city as they dine and dance while celebrating your special day. The largest guest list that can be accommodated in the museum is 1,000 individuals, making this location suitable for grand galas.

The Gateway Arch Foundation Park Foundation team is unprofessional, unorganized, and unresponsive. If you are an event planner or a couple looking for a unique space, I’d recommend saving yourself the trouble and looking elsewhere.
My partner and I were under the impression that the venue rental price was $5,000. This price is currently still listed in the downloadable pdf on this website. We were told many days after requesting a proposal and contract that the new rental price was significantly more, $15,000+.
We waited months, from early April until mid-June, to receive a basic contract that reflected the agreed upon price. Aprice more than the $5,000 price that’s listed but less than $15,000 - $20,000 the events team attempted to charge.
After months of waiting for a contract and communication with their team about the vendors we would be using, we were made aware of a 15% commission that all outside vendors must pay. This fee was not disclosed upfront, or in their rental pdf.
For a 4 to 5 hour venue rental, save yourself the headache, and seek a venue with a responsive and transparent team.
