DJ/MC Andrew was easy to communicate with, attentive, and professional. Andrew was our DJ for our wedding and he was everything that we could have asked for! In the lead-up to the event he was so commmunicative and great to work with and the day of he worked closely with our coordinator and parents to make sure everything was good at all times. I highly recommend Andrew and his team at Music Host Entertainment. Through out the whole planning process they were great with communication and answering any questions we had. We met a few months before the wedding to go over timeline details, song choices, and anything else we needed to discuss. Andrew took the time to explain his process for song choices, how he likes to space things out, and helped us understand the flow of everything. We left feeling so confident in Andrew and his team! When the day of the wedding rolled around we were blown away by how awesome Andrew was. He arrived early, met with our officiant to ensure she was comfortable and had everything she needed, and executed our ceremony music flawlessly. During the reception - Andrew was the perfect MC, checked in with my husband and I to make sure we were happy with how the timeline was flowing, and even ran to the bar to grab us drinks before speeches started. Music Host Entertainment is one of the best DJ and audio vendors in West Michigan. The owner was great to work with. The online portal that was incredibly easy to use. The price was great. The entire Music Host team is great to work with, but its the personal touch of our DJ that really made their services stand out. Robert is an absolute Vibe. He was fantastic from our first meeting until final thank you / goodbye handshake. He kept the energy alive, and played great music that combined our distinct music flavor with the needs of our more traditional family. He did a great job avoiding the music with 4-letter words and G-damns. You know it went well when Grandma has no complaints! Robert also responded well to unplanned timeline shifts and even seamlessly worked in a surprise musical performance from our family. We could not be more thrilled with this vendor and would use them again for other events.

We had our wedding back in August and Andrew was our DJ. We have absolutely nothing but positive things to say about him! We had 8 weddings this past year, and he was BY FAR the best DJ. Alot of the couples that came to our wedding won't stop talking about how much fun they had and how good the DJ was. My family and I listen to a variety of music (Oldies, rock and Roll, Rap, 90s rock, 80's, 2000's hits, country, and Dance/Techoish) and he did a great job incorporating it all in. Especially after 10 when I told him to make it a club atmosphere with my closet friends and family. He was everything we asked for and more, and I am pretty picky when it comes to music. Our wedding was wonderful, and he had a big part in making it fantastic! Would book again in a heartbeat!

Robert was our DJ and he was amazing. He was very attentive, approachable, and friendly. His music selection provided a great variety for all ages at our wedding, flowed seamlessly between songs and as a result the dance floor was full all night. You can tell they love their job!

DJ Doug was awesome! I had no idea who my son and his new bride were going to use for a DJ service. I was quite nervous, having heard other horror stories about how DJs can truly affect one special day in a very negative way, with very real consequences. Having just heard one’s testimony of how a DJ, who played very inappropriate music at a reception without respect to the guests that were present and against the wishes of the grooms parents. Which resulted in creating a scenario of conflict between the grooms family, and the brides family, which had lasting implications. Granted you can’t put all of this on the DJ, I am sure. But these kind of inconsiderations, definitely, impact the outcome of such an important and meaningful day in one’s life. Doug made my son and daughter-in-law’s wedding day truly magical! I have never seen a DJ go so above and beyond like he did! He was not only professional, but made himself totally available for any request that we made. We was referred to MHE and had the best experience using them for our wedding! Andrew was professional, personal, and great host for our reception. Andrew from Music Host Entertainment went above and beyond for our wedding and was absolutely fantastic to work with. He was thorough in the planning process and had us use a website to submit all of our information and song requests, which was very easy to use. He verified our timeline with me when he arrived at the venue and kept us on track with time throughout the entire night. He even came up to us after we sat down with our food at the reception and asked if anyone grabbed us a drink yet, and then proceeded to grab them from the bar. The best part of the night was when he called us up to his DJ booth and had us play a song and scratch along to the beat! He kept people on the dance floor all night long and everyone had the best time with him!

We had the pleasure of having Camar be our wedding DJ in September! He was great to work with, kept the party going, and played all our requested songs!

Very difficult to schedule a meeting time with them before the event took place. When we finally did chat, the meeting was very last minute and rushed. On the day of the wedding, they showed up an hour and a half later than the time they said they would be there for sound check and set up. They did not play the correct song for the wedding party during the ceremony. They did not play any of the requested songs that we and our guests made. The sound system was not set up correctly so when the special dances happened, half the room didn't even hear them make the announcement. We had a few special requests that were confirmed initially during our phone meeting, but they never happened the day of. I felt like we wasted a lot of time making playlists and creating a detailed timeline for them to not even reference it. The program they were using was not reliable - they complained to us about this while we were eating dinner. The manager showed up during our reception and pulled us aside to ask about the DJ's performance - we found this very unprofessional since we were trying to enjoy the time we had with our guests and we didn't plan on making a review until the event was complete. Overall we were very unimpressed and expected better service for what we paid.

Highly recommend booking Music Host Entertainment! We had Jeff as our DJ and he was so professional and easy to work with. He had the dance floor full all night and took the stress of me and my husband. I can't say enough good things about our experiences with him!

We LOVED working with Music Host Entertainment. We booked DJ and photo booth services with them for our wedding. They were so easy to work with and always responded promptly. They set up a user friendly online portal for us to select music for the wedding. We then had a zoom meeting with Andrew and were confident he understood our taste and what we were looking for during both our ceremony and reception. He did not disappoint! We had SO much fun during our reception. He got the crowd involved and on their feet. We never came off the dance floor! We hired MHE for our son's wedding. Our DJ Doug was phenomenal ! He met with our son and his wife via Zoom and walked through all the steps needed for a fantastic wedding reception. They were super professional, excellent communication and rolled with the craziness of the reception! We would highly recommend there services!

Andrew did an amazing job! Very professional and helpful. With his expertise comes next level thinking adding great value for his customers. He kept the flow of the whole event during the day & night smooth and on track. He has a fantastic sound system that was used outside and inside. While outside during a wedding ceremony, everything was clear and easy to hear even on a windy day. Inside, Andrew kept the dance floor full and fun with great music and an incredible light display.

Music Host Entertainment was amazing to work with. Our DJ was sure to keep the party going at all times and read the room. His level of professionalism was perfect, he even purchased light up shoes that matched mine and the groomsmen to take it to the next level. At one point he even asked us to come behind the booth and DJ a song to our guests which was so much fun. The DJ booth set up has an extremely clean look to it and has everything that you would need without looking too bulky or out of place. Musichost was a pleasure to have at our event. Robert did a great job keeping the dance floor going and we’ve heard wonderful things. However, i do wish that more songs from the playlist we created would’ve been played. We spent time making it and it seemed like there wasn’t as much as we’d hoped. We also ran into trouble with people wanting to request songs when we were told that it wouldn’t be an issue. Again, all still had a blast and that dance floor was never empty! Just a few small hiccups we noticed as the bride and groom but thank you again and this day wouldn’t have been a success without you guys!

From the “classics”, some EDM, a lot of Latin dance music, Indie Dance.. we really had an eclectic mix. Everybody was dancing, smiling, and loving it! Your special day will have such a wide range of emotions and music host will make sure to match it musically to bring out the best in it all. Event Included - Wedding Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, Reception, and Dancing all different locations at the same venue. Duration - 6 hours for guests. Music Host was there well before that interacting with venue staff, other vendors, and event staff. “Day of” Services Provided by Music Host - sound check with officiant, interfacing with venue audio equipment (marks in flexibility because this was not the original plan), music for wedding ceremony, music during cocktail hour, music during reception, M.C.ing / introductions of bridal party and people giving speeches throughout the evening, building the energy / creating the vibe you are hoping for, and D.J.ing the roof off the dance floor!!!

Robert did a fantastic job at our wedding reception! He did a great job of emceeing for us and kept things running smoothly all night long. Andrew was perfect. He was professional from day 1. We did not want a wedding DJ that would be gimmicky or play inappropriate songs. Music host entertainment was exactly the opposite. We gave him a challenge with our music choice and type and he hit it out of the park. It was a perfect blend of our music choices. Prior to the event I didn't expect our party to be a big dancing group, boy were we wrong. I am still amazed at how many people were out on the dance floor all night. Slow dance songs and up-beat songs, all of them hit the mark perfectly. I will say that at the beginning of the reception his sound system was not fully reaching the far side of the venue, so some of our guests were not fully aware of his announcements. This isn't fully MHE fault, the venue was large and difficult to throw the sound across the place. But some of our guests did miss the call out for special events. However, in summary we were very cautious people due to horror stories we have heard about wedding DJ's acting like they were at a night club, but MHE was the exact opposite. Rather Andrew was everything we could have hoped for. Made the day even more memorable - would recommend them to anyone!

Andrew was punctual and professional in all communications prior to and on the day of our wedding. Our venue was right by the lake and Andrew was prepared for all of our questions surrounding issues with reception, electricity, etc. that had potential to arise. His equipment was understated enough to not disturb our decor, but powerful enough that everyone could hear easily. During the reception, Andrew provided easy transitions between speeches, dinner, and dances and was instrumental in keeping the energy up all night long. Andrew did an amazing job at our NYE wedding. He took time to listen to our wants and needs weeks leading up to our wedding and helped the night go smoothly. He knew exactly what to play to get guests on the dance floor and what to play to keep them there! Not only did we love him, our guests also raved about him for days! We cannot thank him enough and are extremely happy with our choice!

Brevin @ Music Host did a great job announcing and actually did scratching on the turn-table to mix the dance tunes. Very cool and unique! He played nearly every song we requested. Music Host has this easy-to-use online portal to request songs, adjust the timeline, ect. It was super simple to go in and periodically to update our featured music and provide information. My only criticism is there could have been a little more crowd interaction from him as the entertainer. (I realize this is a slippery slope as we wouldn't have wanted the attention all on the dj). That being said, a great DJ can walk that fine line. Also, we had some pretty specific versions of songs we wanted played and he didn't make sure to download them prior to the event. Not all was lost and he did have our songs. All in all, a perfect reception and I would highly recommend Brevin @ Music Host!

Andrew was absolutely wonderful to work with. My original DJ back out 5 days before my wedding due to a family emergency, so as you can imagine, I was absolutely panicking. I found Music Host Entertainment on the preferred vendor list that my venue provided me with, and I reached out. I immediately got a response from them, and then Andrew jumped in to help me and was emailing with me at 12:00am helping me. Not only was he super responsive, but he was kind and understanding. One of the first questions he asked was if I received my deposit back from my previous DJ and what my budget was. He reduced his charge to match was I was already paying the previous DJ, and I imagine he would have reduced it even further if I would have said I didn’t receive my deposit back. He sent me over the contract the same night and set me up with a login to his page. The website that he uses is extremely user friendly and made the wedding planning with him seamless. I was able to input all of the necessary information directly into his website. He also offered me the option to email everything over if that was easier for me. I preferred the website though, as it was extremely helpful for me to re-review everything and get my timeline straight. I was able to send him an excel file of the requested songs from my guest, as well as a playlist of songs my husband and I wanted played. (You do have the option to input these on his website too). His set up was very sleek and clean and the sound was fantastic. Andrew kept all of us on our timeline, respectively of course, and kept the night moving smoothly. I couldn’t have been more happier with his DJing. I would recommend Andrew to everyone. It was a blessing in disguise that we ended up working with him. If you are on the fence about who to go with, go with Andrew and his team, you won’t regret it.

Andrew did an amazing job as our DJ! Apart from key ceremony, first dance, walk out we provided very little input for most of the music, and he made it work. His personality was great and he took the reigns of hosting the evening. His set up is stylish and he did not miss a beat. Andrew was very helpful during pre-wedding meetings and made us feel less nervous about the day. You can tell he has been in the industry for a while. I highly recommend!

Andrew from Music Host was the best DJ! He has such a friendly personality and worked with us from the beginning to set up a great experience for us and our guests. On our wedding day, he checked in regularly to make sure we had everything we needed, and made sure we were ready for our special songs to be played. We hired Music Host Entertainment for ceremony sound and reception. Everything was great until the 6 week phone call. After filling out a majority of the online profile, I was asked the same questions on the phone, not as a confirmation, as a "I haven't taken the time to read what you filled out". I reiterated our first dance song was the acoustic version (from the form) and asked if he had that version. I was told yes and if not he will get it. Left the phone call feeling nervous and my gut feeling was right. We never received a playlist to review the week of as communicated and I can take some of the blame for not following up BUT what bride has time to chase vendors the week of. On to the day of, our last name was continuously pronounced wrong, the wrong first dance song was play (not the acoustic version) and none of our must played songs were being played until my husband went up and told him to start playing the songs we asked for.
