My Event Buddee

We had such a wonderful experience with My Event Buddee and I cannot recommend them enough! I worked with Sydney on all of the details leading up to our wedding day, and she was amazing. At one point, we ran into an issue with our hair and makeup company only scheduling two artists for more than 20 services, which would have meant starting our morning around 5:45 a.m. Sydney immediately stepped in, communicated with the company for us, and helped get an additional stylist added. It was such a relief to have someone in our corner who was willing to take over and help solve the problem. For the wedding day itself, we had Bridget as our day-of coordinator, and she was phenomenal. I truly did not have to worry about anything. She took care of everything behind the scenes, was incredibly organized, and always had such a positive attitude. She even set up our ceremony space beautifully without needing detailed instructions from me. I was able to walk in and simply enjoy it, which meant so much. Bridget was always ready to jump in wherever she was needed, and knowing she was there allowed me to actually relax and enjoy our wedding day instead of worrying about all of the little details. Sydney, Bridget, and the entire My Event Buddee team were such an important part of making our wedding weekend run smoothly. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for wedding coordination and someone they can truly trust with their big day!

We couldn't be more grateful we worked with Sydney and My Event Buddee for our wedding. Our venue required a day-of coordinator and choosing to expand into partial planning ended up completely transforming our experience. I knew our wedding would be highly non-traditional, and I wanted someone who could understand our vision early, not just step in at the end. I first found My Event Buddee through a styled shoot at our venue, The Luminare, that was featured on Instagram. The design perfectly captured the type of wedding I envisioned: bright, vibrant, colorful, whimsical, disco-ball-forward and unapologetically non-traditional. It gave me confidence this was a planner who wouldn't try to fit us into a traditional wedding box. That was confirmed on our very first call. I shared my concern about being pushed into traditions that didn't feel like us and Sydney immediately said, "Hell no! It's YOUR day!" From that moment, I knew we were in good hands. Sydney understood from the beginning that I wanted to take the lead on the branding, visual identity and the EDM-inspired elements of our wedding. Rather than fighting that, she embraced it. She brought the expertise, logistics and vendor relationships while allowing us to create something that felt entirely our own. The vendors she introduced us to were exactly aligned with what we wanted: creative, flexible and didn't force a traditional aesthetic. Everything from catering and desserts to florals, rentals, signage and photography felt thoughtfully chosen to support our vision. She also contributed ideas that elevated everything even further--interactive signage, lighting enhancements, candle design and guest experience details we wouldn’t have considered on our own. When she saw our branding and color palette, she didn’t just execute; she expanded on it. As the wedding approached, she reviewed every contract, built the full timeline and coordinated communications across all vendors. About two weeks out, she became the central point of contact, even for vendors I had hired and managed. The transition was seamless and immediately removed a huge amount of stress, so I could enjoy the experience of getting married. On wedding day, she was nothing short of a rock star. Our event had so many moving parts--greeting guests at the door ourselves, champagne-dress servers, horoscope readings, hair tinsel installations, interactive experiences, an ice sculpture, a laser show, four DJs, aerial artists and all the traditional wedding elements running alongside it. Sydney managed every single detail flawlessly. She coordinated all vendors, solved issues before they reached us, kept everything on schedule, and only brought things to me when my input was truly needed. She also helped with my outfit changes, handled gratuities and kept the entire experience running smoothly from behind the scenes. There is no doubt she handled challenges throughout the day that we never even knew about--and that’s exactly what made it so seamless. Over the course of planning, Sydney became more than a vendor. She became a trusted creative partner, a sounding board, a problem-solver and ultimately a friend. Our relationship made the entire process not only manageable but genuinely fun.
