We started our wedding journey in Mar 24 giving us only 6 months to have everything in place for our dream wedding in Sept 24. We visited 14 venues in roughly 2 wks. Since time was of the essence as we were constantly being informed, that we needed a venue scheduled.
I was exhausted after vising so many places then I remembered my older son’s wedding was at the Mystic Dunes in May 23. I mentioned it to my fiancée, and he agreed to go have a look. I already knew how this place looked inside & outside, how the landscape and the kissing bridge are so beautiful to take pictures, cocktail hour and ceremony outside with provisions should it be a rainy day to have it all inside. I hadn’t met Rick Martin the year before when my son had his wedding at this venue.
We really fell more in love with this place after we met Rick Martin, the Day of Event Coordinator. The place is beautiful, clean and looks magical. I must say from the moment we sat in Rick’s office to discuss our wedding at this venue, we made the decision to host it there, in the 30 mins of us talking to him.
He is very calming, friendly, happy, takes great care in the attention to the details and most of all he is a great listener and made the magic happen for our wedding, he made sure it was “our” vison and our wedding from beginning to the very end when he says good-by. If we weren’t sure of something or how we wanted it done he came up with ideas right in front of us, to put us at ease immediately. He has a great style, knows instinctively what you need to make your wedding blossom and be a great success! He coordinates very well with all the vendors, some of the vendors know him by name and are very happy to keep working with him.
I felt confident, happy, relaxed, and most of all he gave me the sense of reassurance that my wedding day was going to be the most wonderful one of this year. He takes pride in all he does, really loves what he does, it really shows in all aspects. This includes his personality, his quick responses to email, even on his days off, phone calls or meeting in person. Truly you are never alone when dealing with Rick from the very beginning to the very end. We were impressed with him during the planning stages. He goes up another level the night before for the rehearsal and day of the wedding. He is unflappable and takes care of everything and everyone from the wedding party to all the guests. He takes pride in all what he does. This is reflected by his staff. Who are attentive and calming. His staff were always checking on us to make sure we ate something or if we needed anything. It was very impressive how the chef came out to greet us & thank us for letting him to cook our menu. The food was amazingly good, amazingly displayed and served, we even have pictures of all the food. We still have family and friends talking about the event and how beautiful everything looked and how amazing the food was and how everyone had an amazing time.
Overall, our experience at the Mystic Dunes was amazing to say the least made more special by Rick and his team. He even took time to take care of our personal wedding items that were left behind. Just Amazing.

When we first got engaged, we had no idea where to get married. We booked tons of tours with just about every venue in the Central Florida area. After seeing Mystic Dunes and meeting with Rick, we knew exactly where the wedding needed to happen. Of course, the venue itself was beautiful - but Rick was THE reason for us choosing to have the wedding, rehearsal dinner, & morning-after breakfast brunch all at Mystic Dunes. From our very first meeting, Rick made us feel comfortable and let us know he’d be there every step of the way. When we had questions, Rick was available to answer them. His experience showed in every call, every email, every conversation, and every meeting. Rick treated our wedding weekend with the care and attentiveness as if it were his own. He took our ideas and helped mold them into the perfect wedding day. We got married at Mystic Dunes on March 16, 2024, and the day was even better than what we imagined. Rick was part of every single aspect of the day, coordinated with our vendors, and made sure we as the bride & groom had the best experience imaginable. Overall, there aren’t enough compliments we can give Rick Martin (and the entire Mystic Dunes staff). He was the primary reason for choosing the venue for our wedding, and he delivered over & above our expectations. We could not recommend Rick & Mystic Dunes enough.
When planning a wedding, so many people ask you if you are going to get a wedding planner. I decided not to as I thought I wouldn't need one and I'm blessed to say that I was right in my decision BUT it's only because I had Rick Martin as my wedding day coordinator. He was an incredible partner when mapping out my wedding and had impeccable taste which served me well when trying to bounce off a few ideas with him during the menu tasting. Rick also was very quick on his feet on our wedding day. For example, the florist was running really late and before I could even freak out, Rick had a plan to use other flowers he had in his office and thought of new center pieces on the spot. Luckily, the florist showed and all was well, but the way Rick quickly came up with a solution had me calm the entire day since I knew that if anything happened, Rick would fix it. My husband and I got married in January 2024 and people are still talking about how magical our wedding was and our bridal party constantly brings up how amazing Rick was too!

This joy and expertise directly influenced our event and helped it become the best evening we could have imagined. Where do I begin! Rick Martin, the coordinator at this venue was simply AMAZING! I highly recommend this venue. It is beautiful, spacious, and affordable. They even helped with providing their vases for my center pieces. They also had other decorations that I was able to use to help save on cost. Rick was extremely responsive, organized and on top of it! I could not have been more impressed. Definitely look into this venue! It will not disappoint.
We received so many compliments on our wedding Rick the Special Events Coordinator was absolutely amazing and such a valuable resource. His input and expertise really put my mind to rest. Due to Rick, we had a beautiful, uneventful wedding.
Everything about this venue was perfect, from the newly renovated ballroom to the absolutely lovely outdoor patios for one’s ceremony and cocktails. Our day was better than we could have ever dreamed, and our day-of coordinator Rick was truly a star. He was essential in making sure everything went seamlessly from planning through the end of our big day! If there were any snags, we had no idea (and still don’t!) and everything was flawless.
Wedding shopping as a queer couple sometimes has extra considerations, but we had no concerns on that front whatsoever with Rick and Mystic Dunes. We were warmly welcomed, cared for, and received the most attentive and complete service and assistance we have ever experienced. If you’re on the fence about wedding venues, this is your sign to book at Mystic Dunes.
We had a few hiccups along the way (what wedding doesn’t) but Rick was on top of helping make it all perfect for us. We had what many of our guests called “the best wedding ever” and it was all thanks to a combination of the staff, DJ and photographer. Food was amazing and the venue looked beautiful.
We had our wedding here on April 29, 2023 and it was everything we could have hoped for! This was the second venue we looked at and we just new it was the one! Rick is the venue coordinator and he made this process so easy for us! It rained on our wedding day and he was quick to move everything indoors and everything turned out beautiful! I can’t wait to get all of our photos back so I can upload them! I definitely recommend Mystic Dunes!
I had my wedding at mystic dunes on 3/31/23 and it was absolutely PERFECTTTTTTTT!!! From the moment I seen the venue, I knew that was the one. We had to book it!!!! The space is very big and was perfect for my 130 guest. the chandeliers and tall windows make it look very pretty also , with the decorations we added , our wedding was breathe taking, no lie! Everyone keeps telling us how this was the best wedding they have ever been to. Also Rick was amazing!!!! Whenever I needed to talk to him , he responded right away. He made adjustments for me last minute and was there with anything we need. 10/10 recommend mystic dunes! Oh and the honeymoon suite we got after the wedding was over , was also perfect! Huge room , hot tub , balcony , etc & it was super clean!! Book your wedding here!!!
On February 19,2023, my now husband and I got married here at Mystic Dunes. This was the best decision we decided on when we booked this venue. But first and foremost, Mr.Rick, the wedding coordinator was absolutely amazing. His professionalism and effort made our wedding process easy and smooth. He paid attention to detail, and he was available every time we needed him and was answering us with his quick responses. Communication is a big factor in choosing who you want to work with during the wedding process, and mr.Rick was great at that. His whole team was amazing to work with and they all made our wedding amazing.

This venue was perfect for our wedding. Our coordinator throughout the entire planning process, Rick Martin, made everything easy. He was always quick to reply to emails and made us feel like our wedding was his priority. The food was absolutely amazing and a huge hit with the guests. The staff were all incredibly nice to us and our guests for both the rehearsal dinner and the wedding.
We highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for a beautiful venue with an excellent staff.
I just had my wedding at Mystic Dunes last week 12/02/22 and it was AMAZING!!! Rick, the wedding coordinator, was amazing to me and my now husband. I booked this venue a year ago and for the last year Rick has made sure to make my wedding a priority to him. He would always reply so fast to emails and answer every single question I had. Although I did my own decor, Rick made sure to give me his best professional advice when I needed it the most. In fact, the day of my wedding I got makeup on my dress prior to the ceremony and Rick did everything in his power to get the stain out as I went through a emotional big breakdown. Mystic Dunes was also super affordable as well and you can pay however much you can do little by little until 10 days prior to your wedding date. And let me not even tell you how AMAZING AND DELICIOUS the food was at my wedding. I kid you not...it was the best food I've ever had. I would have another wedding just to eat that food again. You will not regret making Mystic Dunes your wedding venue!!!

This venue was absolutely AMAZING! Hotel, pools and golf course all on property. Beautiful ceremony, cocktail hour and reception space. The day of coordinator Rick Martin executed my wedding vision flawlessly and made it better than I could have imagined. Food was to die for, 10/10 would recommend adding the chef attended pasta station it was a major hit with our guests.

We had contacted a few different venues before visiting this resort. Many places charge high prices and include very little. Mystic Dunes included so much in their price, and they included a wonderful wedding coordinator, Rick, who literally helped make this stress-free. The locations for ceremony were beautiful and reception as well. Even though it was cold and rainy the day of my wedding, Rick quickly turned to plan B and made my wedding beautiful. I had a few points of the wedding that I really wanted to include from Pinterest and Rick made that a reality! He truly cares about you having the wedding of your dreams and having fun! I truly recommend to anyone to visit this resort and take a tour, it was the best choice we could’ve made. Thank you Rick!!

I highly recommend Mystic Dunes for your wedding ceremony and reception. Rick is supposed to be your day of coordinator but he felt more like our fairy godmother/ godfather. He made me and my Husband feel so special all throughout the process. He has little nit nacks to help you not purchase so many things. He provided an easel for our picture, our cake stands, knives for the cake-cutting ceremony, chairs, and much more. I know the venue provides a lot but Rick went above and beyond what was asked of him. I can't express my gratitude. The venue has large windows overlooking all of the greenery.

We had our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception at Mystic Dunes and couldn't be happier!!! Melissa Medal was our wedding planner and she was absolutely FANTASTIC!!!!! She walked us through the entire process and made EVERYTHING so easy for us. Always a true professional and made us feel like we were her only clients and that she really loves what she does.
Now for the Chef and food team. Our guests could not stop raving about the food. We had the steak and cheese crostini, bacon wrapped scallops and a beautiful meat and cheese platter during the cocktail hour. On the buffet line we had flank steak with chimichurri sauce, herb roasted chicken and we added a couple of pork loins so we had something for every taste. It was absolutely scrumptious and even the mushroom risotto was cooked perfectly.
I just can't speak highly enough about the venue team and everything they did to make our day so special.
Mystic Dunes was the perfect venue for our Leap Day wedding! Melissa, the event coordinator, was very helpful and accommodating. Many of our guests commented on how well she coordinated everything and how she went beyond what she was expected to to make them more comfortable. The ballroom is beautiful and the golf course was such a pretty background.

Rick & his team helped to create & host an amazing weekend for my husband, our guests, & I. Other than our incredible wedding day, my husband & I also held our Rehearsal dinner & Day-After brunch on site too. We met with Rick several times & conversed via email quite a bit to discuss everything from our lines, decorations, and food choices. We had several people in our families with dietary restrictions & they were able to accommodate in incredible ways. First, our Rehearsal dinner helped to kick off the warm & relaxed weekend vibe we were hoping for and our guests started the weekend off already thrilled about the meal and venue overall. Second was our wedding day. Rick & his team decorated the room (along with our florist) so I could focus on getting ready. About a half hour before the ceremony, Rick did a room reveal with my husband and I... We were almost moved to tears. Every decoration provided and the ones I created were perfectly arranged and highlighted throughout the room. Rick & his team then helped guide us through the rest of the night from our ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and sparkler exit. They even made up a few plates of food for me so I could eat in between dancing/chatting with our guests. Finally, our brunch the following day gave us the opportunity to spend more time with the family & friends and wrap up the weekend with a thank you and warm remarks. Truly, our experience could not have been more magical. Thank you all so much!
I just got married at Mystic Dunes and it was nothing but perfect from beginning to end. Rick the wedding coordinator was absolutely amazing. His bubbly personality and beautiful venue was what sold us on booking at Mystic Dunes. Rick went above and beyond through out the entire process. From making sure all 1,000 of my questions were answered to decorating the ballroom exactly how I dreamed. The food was not your typical mediocre wedding food. The guests all complimented us on how delicious it was. There is absolutely nothing I would have changed!
Beautiful venue and Rick Martin was amazing director of events. This was the first Indian/fusion wedding at this venue and Rick was absolutely amazing, such a fun person and pays close attention detail and very accommodating. Ricks friendly smile and awesome attitude was our deciding factor for hosting our wedding at Mystic dunes.

My husband and I cannot be any more happy about how perfect our wedding day was. From the very first meeting with Rick, we knew we wanted to have our ceremony and reception at Mystic Dunes! He is so professional & willing to help the best he can with anything! He went out of his way to get us a perfect photo outside where the sign Mystic Dunes is. The scenery outside the clubhouse, the ceremony area and the reception hall were beautiful.

We had an incredible experience working with Rick Martin at Mystic Dunes. The venue was gorgeous, the food was great (the guests still remind me of how good the food was), but truly the best part of the experience was working with Rick. He was so quick to respond to my (many) questions, was very patient, organized, and detail oriented. He completely exceeded our expectations of the role of a day of coordinator. He made every aspect a lot of fun and stress-free. He even helped bustle my dress when we couldn't remember how and helped attach the guys' boutonnieres. The only issue we had was with the room block, but that is run by an entirely different group. My wedding day was truly the best day of my life and I owe that in large part to Rick's passion for his trade! Thank you so much to Rick and the team at Mystic Dunes! We'd pick you all over again in a heartbeat! :)
Words cannot express how phenomenal Mystic Dunes Resort's Event Coordinator Rick Martin and the staff is. I have been apart of many weddings as far as planning and I have never come across a facility that is their with you every step of the way. The venue is absolutely fantastic!!!!!! Its very clean and the food was phenomenal!!!! Rick was on top of everything!!! He delivered!!!!!!! Also, this place is cost effective!!!!!!!! I highly recommend Mystic Dunes Resort to anyone looking for a great venue that actually cares about your dream wedding becoming true.
Mystic Dunes was the first venue we looked at and Rick assured us we would be back.... he was right! Everything about the wedding planning experience was easy while working with Rick. He is highly organized and prompt at responding to any questions you may have. The day before and the day of he took last minute details off my plate and made my day that much more enjoyable. Not only was Rick great, but the venue itself is beautiful. We ended up having around 160 guests and it was a very comfortable fit. Our guests all had a great time and mentioned the food was the best wedding food they have ever had- I AGREE! The entire team at Mystic Dunes did an excellent job and it was truly the best day ever and an experience we will never forget!

Where do I start? Because everything was amazing! But what really makes this place stand out from all the others is Rick Martin. Our ceremony site and reception was of course gorgeous, the food was great, but Rick Martin is the one who made our wedding day unforgettable! I can not tell you how many times Rick and I met and discussed my vision (which was a long detailed list!), and he never gave me nothing but his best! Every time we met, he was professional, warm, inviting, funny and aiming to please! Rick goes above and beyond any coordinator that I have ever met! Anything that did come up unexpectedly, that was out of his control, he handled it with confidence, reassurance and I never worried the day of our special day, because I knew he had everything under control . Our wedding day was magical and everything went perfect. I can not thank Rick Martin enough for everything I put him through and for him making my wedding dreams come true!! He is a true blessing that words can not describe and always my David Tutera!
I booked this venue a year and a half before our wedding. Rick Martin is the best, he worked with us from the start, he is very patient and detailed. The day before the wedding I gave him a list of how I wanted everything and he exceeded our expectations, he did everything as I wanted it and more. Also, he is a life saver! Day of wedding my bridal party didn't know how to do my bussle and he saved the day! We loved working with him, and all his staff was great as well. Only two words come to mind: Simply incredible! Finding the perfect wedding venue in Orlando, is a feat in and of it’s self. However, Mystic Dunes far surpassed everything we imagined when we envisioned our wedding day. The ceremony and reception areas are the perfect blank canvases on which to paint your dream wedding. The vibrant greens of the golf course engulfs the clubhouse and provides a gorgeous backdrop. My husband and I have a combined 25 years of food and beverage experience and are hard to impress but the Chefs at Mystic Dunes executed flawlessly- the prime rib was spot on, the risotto was prepared perfectly and passed hors d’oeuvres left all of my guests more than impressed. However, the real showstopper here is event coordinator and magic maker Mr. Rick Martin. From day one, Rick made the entire process fun and as stress-free as possible. His artistic nature, passion and attention to detail is what sets him apart from anyone else in the business. Handing over the reigns to your wedding, especially when you're a planner, is not easy. Rick took our whole vision and brought it to life, he listened to my every long winded wish and offered honest insight on how we could make it happen. Day of, he made sure we were on time and that every guest and vendor was in the right place. Rick ensured the only thing we had to worry about on one of the biggest days of our life was having fun. We will be forever grateful to him and the rest of the staff at Mystic Dunes for helping to make our wedding day absolutely perfect.
If I could give this venue 1,000 stars I would! There are not enough words I could put into how amazing this venue was. All of our guests raved about how great the food was and beautiful the venue looked without many decorations. By far my favorite part of this venue was Rick Martin, the manager of events who also dubbed as our wedding coordinator (included with the venue!). Rick went by far above and beyond to make sure that every SINGLE detail was perfect and how we wanted it. He even had chocolate covered strawberries and champagne waiting for us in our complimentary room the night of our wedding. I normally would have been a nervous mess on my wedding day, worrying that something would go wrong, but Rick knew every detail and anticipated every need before we even had to ask. He truly went above and beyond and made our day perfect. This venue is truly a hidden gem in Orlando and I'm so glad we found it.
We had the best experience ever! Rick was an absolute gem. I can not say enough wonderful things about him. He is very accommodating and works with you. He is very patient and understanding. We have two toddlers that made some meetings with him challenging, and he was very sweet about it. He made sure every last detail was perfect. The food was amazing and the staff was attentive and nice. Everyone was on their A game.
We had an amazing experience! Rick Martin is bar far the most influential reason this Resort is rated 5 stars by us and many others! He is organized, professional, enthusiastic, endearing and very attentive to details! We had a very custom style set up for our guests and tables and Rick pulled it off with out a hitch because of taking his time with us to understand the essence of what we wanted. Rick was very in tune with our wedding and was able to compensate when other vendors (not from Mystic Dunes) were not pulling their weight. This made our experience a happy, beautiful memory! I would choose Rick and Myatic Dunes again in a heart beat (although I will proabaly wait a while before organizing another wedding, phewwww!) thank you to Rick and the crew for a fantastic day!
*An Overlooked Gem*
Weddings are expensive, & when you boil it all down the top two expenses are Food & Venue. Some venues have a nice view, but either don't provide food or have mediocre food at best. Some venues have decent food, but no view. And of the above nearly all start at premium prices (I'm looking at you Hilton with your $125/plate chicken).
So it is a rare gem to find an affordable venue with not only a beautiful view for ceremony & photos, but spectacular food prepared by chefs who have personally cooked for celebrities at previous points in their career. But that's just scratching the surface of what Mystic Dunes has to offer.
Lets start with affordable. Included in the very reasonable venue price is seating with chiavari chairs, tablecloths of your choice of color, champagne for the toast, private space for the bridal party to get ready, & use of Mystic Dunes' table numbers, cake cutting set, dining ware, & champagne flutes. Let's also not forget included in the price is a honeymoon suite for the night of, champagne & chocolate covered strawberries, & a free round of golf for the newlyweds.
Discounted rooms are also available for your Guests, & not only are they cheaper than your standard hotel room, they're full suites - kitchen, fridge, & hot tub included. We didn't even bother to list alternate hotels, that's how good a price it was.
Oh, & by the way your Mystic Dunes point of contact is also included as your day of coordinator (a job that typically costs a few hundred in itself). But more on that later - I dare you to find a venue package with the same level of benefits at the same price.
Let's talk food. Plated for our event was well under $100/entree, helping us save hundreds of dollars that we were able to use elsewhere in our wedding budget. You have a wide variety of appetizers to select from, several different entrees served buffet style or plated, along with a good selection of sides & salads. They are all delicious - honestly some of the dishes we had during the tasting were the best of their kind we've ever had. You don't go into a wedding expecting that. Most of the time you hope the food is at least acceptable & that's pretty good already. Needless to say we were excited for our guests. Rehearsal dinner (buffet style) at the venue was also incredibly affordable, convenient, & just as delicious.
Lastly, let's talk about Rick Martin, the Catering Manager & Day of Coordinator. Rick is a sweetheart whose role is to make everything in the background run smoothly on your special day. While we ultimately planned our wedding on our own, Rick was there to provide tons of helpful advice, options, recommendations, & peace of mind that everything would be handled the day of - which he did. Rick was friendly, professional, responsive, flexible, & organized. He was genuinely interested in doing everything he could to accommodate us & our guests & make our day special - without him, our event would not have come together as perfectly as it did. As much as the venue & food stood out at Mystic Dunes, Rick is honestly what we remember the most fondly. With adequate planning & communication from the couple/wedding planner, there should be absolutely no reason that your event wouldn't go just as wonderfully under Rick's watch.
So new couples, do do your due diligence & search around. But don't search too long - someone else might snatch up your date for this venue. You'll find yourself back here soon enough anyway.
We had our ceremony and reception at this venue. The clubhouse has beautiful scenery and a fantastic wedding package. The food and staff were all wonderful (Rick, our planner, was amazing)! The venue coordinates with the Vendors about load in the day of so you don't need to worry about it.

We are soo glad we chose Mystic Dunes as our ceremony locatuon. We planned our wedding from Scotland which made picking a destination difficult. Right from the initial email Rick reassured us that everything would work our perfectly. We ended up getting married right after hurricane Irma but again this was no problem for Rick- he kept in constant contact and updated up on each stage of the premises being checked and evaluated and he made sure we knew as soon as possible that the wedding would go ahead. On the day Rick set our decor up and everything was beautiful- I wasnt sure about the metal arbor but he covered it in fabric and used our flowers to make it pretty. We loved the location and the choice regarding where we could be married on site and we were reassured by the back up indoor option incase the weather turned bad. The cheese platter and champagne toast was an added bonus! We would highly recommend Mystic Dunes to friends and Rick made us feel like we had our own wedding planner!
Our wedding was so much more amazing than we ever imagined. We absolutely loved working with Rick Martin and his team, they are all so nice and fun! He walked us through a lot of details we didn't even think about and kept us on track for the big day. Our wedding day went by so smooth, which allowed us to enjoy every second of it. Mystic Dunes is beautiful, affordable and the food is great. We received so many compliments! I would highly recommend this venue to anyone planning their wedding or similar event.
I could not be more satisfied with the way our wedding turned out. Rick Martin and his assitant Kaley McCall did an AMAZING JOB! They really were ontop of eveyrhting and helped make transitions run smoothly. If you are looking for a venue, this place is it. Its affordable, they are welcoming and fun, the ballroom is perfect and has a lot of space. If I could do my wedding again I would always have it at Mystic Dunes.
To say our day was everything we were hoping it would be is the absolute truth - and this a week after a major hurricane ripped through our area! The staff made the best of a bad situation, and everyone had such a great time! I also can't say enough about Rick Martin, our wedding planner and therapist! He walked us through answering questions we hadn't even asked ourselves, and literally our day would not have happened without him! I highly recommend you have your wedding or really any event at Mystic Dunes!
Mystic Dunes was the PERFECT place for our wedding reception. Rick is a wonderful venue coordinator – he responded promptly whenever I had questions, and was very organized, especially when it came down to the final details. The space is beautiful, with room for cocktail hour outside on the patio, and a spacious room indoors that worked well for our 120 guests. Everything ran very smoothly; Rick and his team made sure we were taken care of, helped out with our unique requests, and provided great service to our guests. Kelsey stayed till the end of the night and was there bright and early the next morning to help with the breakfast buffet we had for our guests also. The resort also has some beautiful locations for photos, and we were given a golf cart for us and our photographer to get around with ease. Would recommend this location to anyone having a wedding reception in the Orlando area!
Wow! What I can say about mystic dunes besides amazing. This resort was the perfect spot for my wedding and I could not have imagined doing it anywhere else. This place has the most friendly workers and very nice accommodations for an entire family. Mystic dunes wedding coordinators were above and beyond of what I thought it would be. They were there anytime I had a question or needed help and then the entire night of the reception they were like guest of the wedding and so much fun. If you are looking for an organized venue and a gorgeous venue this is the place! Mystic dunes is all around perfect for a wedding.
My husband and I had our dream wedding at Mystic Dunes. The quality of service we received at the resort was amazing. I grew up in Orlando, FL and my parents still live there. We currently live in North Dakota and we knew we wanted to get married in Florida. Searching for a venue can be difficult especially when we have so many criteria we are looking for. Close to an airport, shuttle service option from airport to resort, good room rates, a ballroom with windows (I wanted that :) ), an outside ceremony option, and a golf course close so the guys could play on Friday. When we finally came upon Mystic Dunes ALL of our criteria was matched! I cannot tell you how much positive feedback I have gotten from our guests since our wedding. Everyone was so thankful the resort offered so much from golf cart transportation around the resort, shuttles to theme parks, restaurant at the club house (which you can also get room service delivered from the restaurant), multiple pools around the resort, and the large villas. We stayed in a two bedroom villa which includes two separate bedrooms, living room, kitchen, porch. We had approximately 30 people hanging out in our room Thursday before the wedding with plenty of space. I had 3 hair stylists, 7 bridesmaids, 2 moms, 1 bride, and a flower girl all getting ready in the two bedroom villa. Throughout the planning process Mystic Dunes was always an email away, answering all of my questions and taking care of anything I wanted. I can't say enough great things about this resort. My husband and I are already planning our 1st anniversary back at Mystic Dunes.

You and your staff made my small 25ppl wedding feel big and full of romance. From the colors to the décor everything was in sync. From the beginning I mentioned to her that I wanted simple but elegant and that’s exactly what she delivered. We couldn’t have picked a better venue for our January 26th, 2014 wedding. I loved the patio that the ceremony was held in and the reception space was absolutely everything I wanted and more… Thank you again Mystic Dunes & Resort staff for all your help making our wedding a true dream come true.
Everything they did was great. The only bad thng that happened was one of the servers broke the cake topper. Food is amazing and the lady we worked with was awesome!!
The advertising available for this venue does not pay justice to it. It's a beautiful resort and the ballroom is amazing. Jessica is amazing she's so down to earth and friendly we connected right from the first visit 😊. She gave us good advice and guidance as far as choosing all the vendors we used. Our tasting of their menu was very good leaving our mouths watering. The venue was beautifully put together with my choice of colors and linens and my centerpieces. I had such a great variety of food including sushi and a chocolate fountain. The only bad thing is that there wasn't good communication between the personnel which cost me to get late to my ceremony therefore me missing out on all the food 😒. But overall everyone had a great time. Highly recommended Jessica is awesome!!!
My husband and i had our wedding at the Mystic Dunes Resort & Golf Club on May 26, 2013. It is a beautiful venue! The food was great and our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful the ceremony and reception locations were. The only problem we had was that we originally asked for a two bedroom for the bridesmaids to get ready in and ended up with a one because the resort was too full (memorial day weekend). Apart from that everything was perfect. Jessica was great and very willing to work with our requests. I highly recommend this location.
The food was great, Jessica the coordinator was helpful, tables and linen was perfect. My only complaints are that we were told we could set up the night before and the week of we are told we cant. That was really upsetting. Then we were supposed to have the cocktail hour outside with a beautiful view of the golf course but instead they decided to put us in the entrance hall way because it was "cloudy". When I had asked specifically that if there was bad weather to let people into the ballroom early so that the guests are not squashed. Need less to say they did not follow any of my directions. They were still setting up minutes before my husband and I were supposed to arrive. There was poor coordination on behalf of the staff there, they don't seem to follow directions, and some of the staff was VERY rude to some of my family and guests. In the large skim of things my wedding was beautiful and if that was all that went wrong, I would have to say it was a success.
From the moment I walked into Mystic Dunes, I fell in love with the warmth and ambiance. Thank God for Jessica! She was a kind ear and so easy to work with during the whole wedding planning process. I told her my vision, stepped back, and watched her and the team bring it to life on April 28th, 2012. Our wedding was amazing to us.
Pros: They were easy to work with, responded fairly quickly, the venue is basically beautiful (meaning, you don't need a lot to add to its beauty), and the food was delicious.
Be sure to be specific about how many people you plan to feed in the bridal party suite during the cocktail hour - there were some really hungry groomsmen! The golf carts with photo ops map should've been ready for us. That cut into our very important photo time and we had to wing it. Finally, I wish they had centerpieces.
Overall, it's definitely a great place for a bride who wants the warm ambiance with a grande feeling in a great budget range working with professionals with a lot of experience. I truly enjoyed our wedding planning, wedding day, and the whole team behind it!
I just had my wedding at Mystic Dunes on November 20, 2010 and it was a fantastic experience!!! We had our rehearsal, ceremony,and reception on the property and they were all perfect! The coordinator Rachel Sitter is AMAZING to work with. She is very efficent and works with your every need. I am so happy we chose to have our wedding at Mystic Dunes. They made every idea we had become a reality. We also had all of our guests stay on property for the weekend and they were very pleased. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. I was very pleased with the kitchen and bar staff as well. They were so polite and attentive to our guest. Thank you so much Mystic Dunes for making our wedding weekend perfect! :)
Mystic Dunes is beautiful and regardless of the couple of snags that come with every wedding it was really awesome. The event manager did not cover our event and I think that is where some of the snags came into place. Regardless they were very willing to fix it and give us a refund. The one thing that I did have a problem with is that they throw out the extra wedding cake instead of giving us the leftovers. They were great about it and gave us a refund on what we spent on the cake. So in far warning if going to mystic dunes make sure that you ask for your cake to be saved.
