This venue offers 11 opulent event rooms for couples, including a ballroom and pre-function space for guests to mingle before the event. The ballroom can seat 750 guests for a formal meal, and offers space for 1,500 guests with a cocktail-style reception. There is also an exquisite garden available for outdoor ceremonies. On-site accommodation is available, decorated in neutral tones with splashes of color from soft furnishings. These rooms are sleek and modern, contrasting with the rich decor of the event spaces.
The Mystic Marriott Hotel and Spa offers a wide range of wedding packages for both afternoon and evening weddings. They also offer custom packages to allow couples to design their dream day. Couples can relax in one of the hotel’s sumptuous rooms on the night of the wedding with complimentary accommodation. Catering will be provided by the hotel’s in-house culinary team, who can offer plated and buffet-style menus, as well as food stations and desserts. We had a wonderful experience at the Mystic Marriott Hotel! HaKyung was an absolute pleasure to work with, providing great communication and guidance throughout the planning process.
The executive suite was a fantastic space for the bridal party to get ready, with plenty of room for hair, makeup, and outfits. However, the only criticism I have is that the lighting in the room was not ideal and the lack of windows made it feel a bit dark.
On the other hand, the breakfast buffet we added in one of the meeting rooms was a huge success! The food and coffee were great, and it was a nice way to send off our guests the next morning.
The hotel also accommodated our request to set up a table nearby the check-in counter for our guest welcome bags, which was a nice touch.
Overall, I would highly recommend the Mystic Marriott Hotel for their excellent service, spacious rooms, and tasty food. Thank you, HaKyung, for helping make our wedding weekend a success!
We are so happy we had our room block at the Mystic Marriott. The hotel is beautiful and was very close to our venue. The staff was easy to work with when it came to adding additional rooms to our block. The rooms were very nice and we had a beautiful suite booked which was perfect for all the bridesmaids to get ready in. Our guests were so happy with the accommodations!
Amanda was our planner/point of contact for our big day and she was the most supported and amazing person ever! The hotel was so clean and the food was delicious. The day went off without any hiccups!
Hosting our wedding at the Mystic Marriott was the best decision for so many reasons – it is beautiful, classy, affordable, and easy to plan everything in one place – but mostly because of Amanda Toner Ganacoplos.
Amanda is the Sales Manager and Day-of Coordinator, but I think of her as our wedding Fairy Godmother. So many other venues had many strict rules, hidden costs, and a stiff demeanor, but from the moment we walked into the Mystic Marriott, Amanda made the experience warm, easy, and fun. She said yes to everything we asked, allowing us to add our own special touches to the experience, and working with us regularly for more than a year to make our wedding even better than we could have imagined. Her attention to detail is impeccable; on our wedding weekend, I kept noticing little ways that she made every single thing look beautiful, and she makes it seem effortless. Amanda has so much heart for her work and the couples and families she works with, and it shows. We already miss her! I can’t imagine our wedding without her as our partner in planning.
The staff at the Mystic Marriott is equally lovely. They treated us with kindness and special attention each time we visited, and on our wedding weekend, they made us feel like royalty and made our guests feel welcome and cared for. We are so grateful for their hard work in making it the wedding of our dreams.
We knew we wanted to host the wedding in a hotel so our 230 guests could head to bed whenever they were ready, and so we didn’t need to worry about transportation. The Mystic Marriott gave us that convenience and so much more. We hosted our welcome reception in the lobby, offering our guests pink champagne and an ice cream sundae bar, then hosted our ceremony in the Mystic Ballroom and our reception in the Marriott Ballroom. Our cocktail hour was outside on the Octagon Patio, and our after-party was in the Octagon bar. What a luxury to have everything in one place, but with so many different and beautiful settings.
The food here is also incredible! Our guests are still raving about the mashed potato bar, pistachio crusted salmon, and our specialty cocktails.
We absolutely recommend hosting your wedding here! They will make your wedding feel like the best dream you’ve ever had.
After doing endless research on hotel blocks for the month of August on the busy shoreline of CT, I finally came to pick the Mystic Marriott. The hotel was newly renovated and had a beautiful lobby, and even more beautiful rooms and suites. However, the main reason we picked the hotel was for the outstanding hospitality. Kelsey Gonzalez was by far the most important piece to planning the wedding. She had endless insight to all things wedding, and was always available to share all that information. She had great recommendations and was always there to answer emails and phone calls about the logistics of the wedding day. On the day of the wedding she was even better. She had all the hotel bags delivered to each individual guests room. She had the suites that were for my husband and I set up to perfection. She set up a private breakfast room for the women in the bridal party downstairs while our suite was being prepped for us to get ready in for the day. She had extra mirrors and chairs, and set up the the bridesmaids gifts beautifully for when we arrived back in the room. She had a beautiful spread of food, champagne, and even a coffee cart delivered that we ordered to the room while we get ready. My something blue was missed, and she so open heartly offered yet another solution which brought my mother and I to tears. Kelsey is absolutely amazing at her job, but she also comes with an incredible gift to make you feel special and at ease. Her work and attention to detail is impeccable and not a single thing was missed. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel and working with Kelsey for your wedding experience!
My husband and I were married on 4/27/19 and picking Mystic Marriott was one of the best decisions we made. We worked with Amanda and Kelsey and they are both extremely knowledgeable, responsive and organized. I felt like I was emailing Amanda every other day with questions & requests and she never disappointed. The day of, Kelsey was amazing! She was always there making sure I had everything I needed. We didn't find one single flaw with our wedding day. They listened to everything we wanted and communicated with each of our vendors. Our guests have told us it was the best wedding they have ever been to and we couldn't have done it without Amanda, Kelsey and all of the Mystic Marriott staff. Thank you for making our dreams come true!
My husband and I had our wedding at the Mystic Marriott Hotel and spa on May 19th 2018. We truly had an amazing experience and the wedding planner Amanda Toner was wonderful! Amanda worked with me the entire time leading up to the wedding, she allowed me to drop off my vintage wedding decor the week before and she set up everything as planned on my wedding day. She set up the entire bridal suite with my favorite wine and decor, she was available the entire wedding day for any questions or help we needed! Amanda even added special touches of her own that really meant a lot to us, she even framed a picture of our rescue fur babies (our dogs!) and put it on our sweetheart table so we could look at them the night of our wedding at dinner. Amanda Toner is truly an amazing wedding planner and we can not thank her enough for everything she did, our wedding day would have never been the same without her.
The Mystic Marriott hotel and spa provided us with wonderful service, They allowed us to tweak the menu to our liking and met all our special requests, The food on the wedding day was delicious, hot, and large portions! We truly had a wonderful wedding day!

My husband and I were considering getting married in the Boston area, where we currently live, or in my hometown area of Stonington / Mystic. We met with Amanda and quickly knew this was the venue for us. She made us feel special from the start and her expertise in event planning came through right away. She was full of knowledge, gave us plenty of time and attention, and most importantly, was so much fun to spend time with. I’m so sad I won’t get to spend time planning with Amanda anymore. I miss her already!
We had a fairly large wedding of over 200 guests so the Mystic ballroom was a perfect space for the reception. Our vision for the wedding was to have everyone fit comfortably in a beautiful room with a big dance floor and a live band. We couldn’t have been happier with how things turned out; the dance floor was packed all night and everyone had a blast. We used the lobby space just outside the ballroom for the bar space, cocktail tables, photo tables, a dessert table, etc. It was great to have this overflow space so guest could move in and out easily between the spaces.
The bar was an important element to us. We had several “favorite cocktails” featured on signs we had made and we loved that Amanda accommodated various types of glassware for each drink, from martini glasses to copper mugs. She even incorporated our favorite blue cheese stuffed olives for martinis without batting an eye. It made everything feel extra special.
We lucked out with good weather and held our cocktail hour outside on the patio off the side of the Marriott. The patio was transformed into such a beautiful space, between the bars, signage, and a huge cheese, bruschetta, and antipasto display. There were string lights overhead across the patio which was a nice touch as it got darker in the evening.
Amanda and the staff at the Marriott exceeded our expectations and alleviated the stress associated wedding planning. My husband and I both have busy schedules and we often travel for work, so juggling our schedules with planning a wedding should have been harder than it was. Amanda was extremely helpful, from helping us customize a timeline, pick the food, decide on the layout, accommodate drink preferences (we had many!), coordinate with vendors, set the lighting, and so much more. She made the experience feel so special and tailored to us. I truly don’t think we would have had the same experience at many of the other venues we looked at.
Also, our tasting appointment was amazing and completely exceeded our expectations. The chef is so talented. We had such a fun time trying everything while enjoying a bottle of champagne. Our friends and family have been raving about the food ever since! Favorite dish: pan seared Stonington scallops over mushroom risotto, brussels sprouts, apples, and bacon crumble. Many guests weren’t from New England so it was nice to incorporate local ingredients.
We highly recommend the Mystic Marriott for a wedding – we wouldn’t change a thing. It was such a memorable year leading up to the wedding and we made great memories during our meetings at the Marriott with Amanda. The day itself was worth all of the time and effort and we will never forget it!
Amanda was the best!!! We had the best time as did our guests! Amanda went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for our special day. She even came in to make sure our brunch the next day was perfect on her day off! Which it was thanks to her! By far the best wedding coordinator I've ever worked with...and I've dealt with quite a few. Thank you thank you thank you again and again Amanda and the Marriott!!

I cannot put into words how amazing Amanda Toner and the staff at Mystic Marriott Hotel and Spa are! Our wedding (9/15/18) was absolutely perfect. The venue is beautiful, the food was superb, and Amanda and the Mystis Marriott staff treated us beyond exceptional! We’ve received nothing but perfect feedback from all of our guests. Everyone we’ve spoke to tells us ours was the “best wedding ever!” We couldn’t have done it without Amanda and her team. Our rooms were perfect, the cocktail hour space, ceremony space, the ballroom where we had our reception were amazing, and our hospitality room was a wonderful private space for us to kick back and collect ourselves when we needed it. If you’re considering Mystic Marriott as your venue, go for it! You will not be disappointed. We researched and visited several venues before making our selection and Mystic Marriott was hands down the best option for what we wanted. Our wedding was absolutely one of the best days of our lives and we have to give a ton of credit to Amanda! She was incredible from day one. She was helpful, patient, and super flexible when we made changes along the way! Everything was so perfect and we cannot day enough good things. Thank you all, so much! We can’t wait to come back for our anniversary stay. You all are the best.

Newly Renovated and looks amazing in wedding photos! Very nautical feel. Very affordable and amazing customer service. We dealt with Kelsey Gonzales for our room block plus the bride+groom suites for our wedding party, and she is a dream! She even got us an upgraded room for our wedding night.
P.S. they have a shuttle to the casino for 50 bucks!! It holds up to 11 people and is WAY cheaper than any uber or taxi AND is safe.
We used the Mystic Marriot for our hotel block, getting ready the morning of, the after party and our farewell brunch! Kelsey, the event manager, is AMAZING! She made sure every detail was absolutely perfect from picture locations to food orders and transportation, she made our weekend so easy and I cannot thank her enough!!! The hotel rooms just got updated and are awesome, the food was delicious and the patio where we had brunch was adorable! Highly recommend this venue !
We got married at The Lace Factory and when we booked the venue, we quickly found that all the inns in the immediate area were booked because of some big event that same weekend. We decided to book the Mystic Marriott and I'm so glad we did. Kelsey was SO great to work with and was such a huge help during the planning process. By the time our wedding arrived, the hotel had been completely renovated (it's GORGEOUS) and it was the perfect place to welcome all of our out of town guests. The service was impeccable and we cannot recommend them enough.

I don't even know where to start!!! While my husband and I did not have our reception at the Mystic Marriott, we had a series of events at the hotel the weekend of our wedding. Kelsey, the sales coordinator, executed the most PERFECT weekend for us, going above and beyond to ensure that we had the most memorable wedding weekend we could have ever dreamed of. The rehearsal dinner, which was held at the Octagon restaurant, was absolutely incredible. The food was phenomenal and the service was impeccable. Kelsey was so dedicated to all of the details and ensuring that our vision came to life. She truly went above and beyond what I would have ever anticipated and we will never forget her for it. She was incredibly timely in answering my (many ) emails throughout the course of the year, and always did so with top notch professionalism and grace. In the few occasions when my family and I visited the hotel to meet with Kelsey, she was so accommodating, warm, and made us feel like her own family when we arrived. We absolutely did not feel like "just a number" with Kelsey. A few other honorable mentions - Linda, one of the waitresses/bartenders in the cafe/restaurant, was just the best. She was so friendly and so excited for my husband and I! I truly felt the love just radiating from her!! The bell boy, Shaun, was AMAZING and so attentive. Shaun was so helpful in getting our multiple things from point A to point B without a complaint in the world. I wish I had enough words to thank the crew at the Mystic Marriott as much as I want to. This is an A++++ hotel that I would recommend to absolutely anyone in need of a stellar event, or simply, a comfortable stay! Our guests are still raving about our wedding weekend from October 28th and many of it was related to the Mystic Marriott . The hotel itself has incredibly comfortable and cozy rooms, the beds are AMAZING, and the hotel extras (Starbucks, Elizabeth Arden Spa, The Octagon -one of the best steak houses in CT) encompasses everything one would need to just move right in and live there permanently :) The service is second to none here and you are in for a treat with the comfort of the rooms. The experience we had with the Mystic Marriott was fantastic. Everything went so perfect, better than I can even imagine. A big thanks to Amanda Toner, who helped us out SO MUCH and was so kind, sweet, and patient. She is always ready to help and made our big day very special for both my groom and I and our guests. I can’t begin to express how happy my husband and I were having made a reservation for a block of rooms at the Mystic Marriott for our wedding weekend. We got married on a very busy weekend in Mystic - Columbus Day Weekend, and the hotel staff - especially Kelsey was beyond accommodating and did everything in their power to help make our weekend perfect. We also had our rehearsal dinner in one of their rooms on the main floor, the service was amazing and food was very delicious! We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to book multiple rooms and we are looking forward to heading back just the two of us for a weekend getaway at our favorite spot in CT!

My husband and I got married at the Mystic Marriott Hotel & Spa in July and everything was absolutely perfect! We had a longer engagement and met with Amanda and her staff often. Each time they made us feel as if we were the only couple getting married there. Amanda totally understood our vision and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. She even ordered a specific table cloth that I had to have! In addition to the perfect details and the easy planning process the food was also delicious! I am so thankful we choose the Mystic Marriott as our venue because they really made our day feel magical and perfect!
Amanda + the entire team at the Mystic Marriott are the ABSOLUTE BEST!! They made our wedding truly a dream come true! We had 22 people in our wedding party (including bride + groom) and 275+ guests, so needless to say we had a pretty big celebration. Amanda made the entire process so easy right from the beginning. She's extremely knowledgable, organized and down to earth, which helped make everything run smoothly. She answered questions quickly and was always there to give advice. We're from MA, so coordinating everything in CT was a challenge but Amanda made it so easy! On our actual wedding day, the entire hotel was ready to go. The food....OUT OF THIS WORLD!! Each meal was of 5 star quality and the presentation was perfect. They went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect and I can honestly say it was; our guests are still talking about it!! Amanda also worked very well with each of our vendors and accommodated each one. Amanda is absolutely amazing. She helped my husband and I with the details and planning of our wedding from start to finish. She first helped us make a flexible package that fit our budget and needs and she was there every step of the way to answer any questions we had. Amanda is incredible at what she does and makes a challenging job look effortless. She's kind, personable and went above and beyond to make our whole day amazing. The entire staff at the Marriott was incredible the day of our wedding as well! We highly recommend having your reception at the Mystic Marriott.
Although our wedding was not on-site at The Mystic Marriott, their Sales Manager, Kelsey Gonzalez, still went above and beyond to give us and our guests the best experience. From patiently working with us on our wedding room block, to coordinating our after party, shuttles, prompt check-ins, personally greeting myself and my bridesmaids, and adding special details (a personal pizza set aside for the vegetarian bride!), we are so grateful that we chose to stay at The Mystic Marriott and had the privilege of working with Kelsey!
Had a wonderful experience from start to finish. David and I are both very busy people and we knew planning a large wedding wouldn't be an easy task. We met with Amanda Toner in March 2017 ,told her what we were looking to do and we knew at that point we had chosen the right place and the person to do it. We are an older couple so we were not at all interested in a traditional reception .We shared our plans of exactly what we wanted and that's exactly what we got. The food was awesome and the presentation was beautiful. It's been 2 weeks since we were married on 7-29-2017 and still getting comments on the reception. From the beginning we put our trust in Amanda and didn't worry or fret over anything which allowed to focus on our ceremony which also was held in Mystic Ct at Union Baptist Church. About a year ago our wedding journey started with Amanda who was spectacular! She guided me through every turn up until our morning brunch. She was on top of everything which allowed me to not have to worry about a thing. Our bridal suite was perfect! The food at the Marriot was unreal. Guests raved about the appetizers and meals. The Scollops and Steaks were the best we ever had. Amanda helped up set up special his and her drinks which guests loved. The outdoor space was beautiful and allowed for a smooth and entertaining cocktail hour. I would highly recommend a wedding here if you are looking for a perfect weekend. Amanda also made sure all our guests had a room, 50 room blocks for both nights!
Can't say enough good things. We had a beautiful day and that was in part by the attentiveness of the Marriott staff on every level from planning right up to the big day.Our wedding was seamless from ceremony to reception . The food was prepared with skill and delicious.The banquet staff was accessible yet not distracting from the flow of events.Most of all, our coordinator,Amanda,responded to every question and ensured we could enjoy our day while their team handled the logistics. The venue is beautiful and versatile , the staff is creative in helping you plan your special day.I couldn't have imagined our wedding anywhere else.
Highly, highly recommend - Amanda literally made our wedding possible. She and the fantastic staff were pleasant, helpful, genuine, supportive - literally any and everything you could ask for - they had thought of. I'll be as objective as possible here: my wedding was the best wedding I've ever been to. As the groom, I only had two concerns: the best food, top-shelf booze. My wife and in-laws did most of the heavy lifting for our wedding. My involvement only came toward the end and when I met Amanda, I told her about my requirements, but she was already on it. What a pleasure it was to finally meet her and when she got me up to speed on everything, I was blown away. The whole experience she created with us and for us was *unparalleled.* Whatever she said would happen and how it would happen, came to pass. She was there through it all, making sure the best wedding I've ever been to was just that. Every aspect that needed coordination was perfect but the venue that served as the canvas was the Marriott, and Amanda, and all the staff she worked with, made it a masterpiece. We felt like VIPs the entire time, through our stay, our time at the spa, and every moment through our wedding. It helped that we found the best band ever (Sugar!) and that our wedding cake was the best ever (thanks Cake Lady!), but truly, the Marriott prepared the BEST wedding meal I've ever had, EVER! The steak, the fish, and yes, even the chicken (with risotto!) were all amazing, 5 stars each! The next time we swing by, we'll give Amanda the heads up so we can experience these Epicurean delights once more. Oh yeah, the booze rocked too! ;) Thank you Amanda! Thank you Marriott! On May 15, 2015 The Mystic Marriott Hotel and Spa made everything we could have hope and dreamed for our wedding come to life. Amanda and her team's attention to detail was absolutely impeccable and better than I could have ever imagined. She was able to take our vision and turn it into a reality!
There were never any problems or hiccups. Amanda or one of her staff was always within view of us and if we needed anything they were over to us within seconds. The food and service were awesome. I would recommend this venue in a heartbeat.
My husband and I got married last December and we chose to have our reception at the Mystic Marriott. We knew after meeting Amanda Toner that this was the place for us! Let me tell you, this woman is INCREDIBLE. Amanda made sure that she was in constant contact with us throughout the planning process and ensured that everything we selected was exactly how we wanted it. Not only that, but she and the staff went above and beyond on every detail (including adorable small details) the day of the wedding! We never had to worry that anything would go wrong or not be taken care of. The reception was AMAZING and everything turned out better than we could have imagined because of everything Amanda and the staff at the Marriott did. Our friends and family are STILL raving about the Marriott and everything they did for my husband and I. The accommodations, food, and staff are the best around. We feel so blessed that we were able to meet Amanda and work with her. She was an integral part of our special day and it would not have been the same without her and the incredible staff at the Mystic Marriott!
I was married at the Mystic Marriott in May 2016 and it was the dream wedding for which I had always hoped. I grew up in the area and always knew I wanted to get married there because I was having a large wedding and the Marriott is by far the most beautiful venue that can host such a large party. From the moment we started plannning up until the day of and through the entire weekend, everything was perfect. Amanda Toner was the best wedding coordinator and really made sure everything ran smoothly. I would not have changed anything. She and the hotel were very accommodating and everything from the ceremony, cocktail hour, party, and after party was amazing. I would give a ten star rating.

Long, bright gown and wanted to be a princess with my large Italian family all there with me. .. and the Marriott helped to accommodate everything I needed!! The ballroom was large enough for all 30 tables I needed and it the floor plan was set exactly how I wanted it! The food was customized to every course the way I asked for.. including the amazing cocktail hour that was enough food to feed everyone for the entire night!! The guests were amazed that they still got to sit for 4 course meal following that!! Everything was perfect down to the dessert display and the gelato bar later in the night !! The bars were easy access for all the guests and they had short or no line at all for the guests to wait at!! In addition, The pink uplighting matched my centerpeices perfectly!! I could go on and on, but most importantly NONE of this would have been possible without the amazing help and work by Amanda Toner!! She was fabulous and worked with us on every single detail! Her hard work really shined through and ended with an amazing night for us!! Thank you to the Marriott!! The service was excellent and it really proves to pick a place with such great experience for your wedding venue, instead of being disappointed you can be happy they exceeded your expectations!!
The Mystic Marriott was the perfect venue for our wedding reception. Amanda Toner was helped us on every step of the process and was even able to accommodate last-minute requests. She was also present the day of our reception to make sure that everything flowed smoothly, which it did. The food was AMAZING! Our guests could not stop raving about the excellent and memorable dinner that they had. Portions were enormous! We recommend the pork chops and lobster bisque. We had our wedding reception at the Mystic Marriott with the help of Amanda and the incredible staff that responded to our every wish. We were shocked at how easy, fun and stress free our experience was as a result of the staff and wedding coordinators being one step ahead of everything. They truly cared about giving us a memorable experience, and we were so proud to host our friends and family at this beautiful hotel. Even the food at our reception and at the hotel restaurant is some of the best I have ever had. I would so highly recommend this to any bride who wants a beautiful event with minimal stress. We had the most amazing day thanks to Amanda Toner and the Mystic Marriott. Amanda was so patient through our MANY questions and requests and was an absolute pleasure to work with. She went out of her way to make sure every detail was perfect and the night was flawless; from our customized dinner menu to the accommodations for the wedding party suite. We had some complicated and labor-intensive decorations for our ballroom, and the staff at the Marriott took care of everything. The room looked incredible! Guests raved about the food both for the reception and at the after party that took place in the Octagon. It was an amazing night where we did not have to worry about a single detail. I highly recommend the Marriott for anyone planning a wedding in the area. We loved it!
We had an amazing experience with the Mystic Marriot. Everything was absolutely perfect and we couldn't have asked for a better day. We had the first full wedding in the octagon (the restaurant that is attached to the hotel). The ceremony took place on the grassy area outside, the cocktail hour on the patio adjacent to that and the reception was inside the restaurant. We had a made to order burger bar and BBQ and everything was delicious.
Amanda and her staff were such a pleasure to work with. They made the entire process super easy to do. We would recommend them 100x over. My husband and I can't stop saying how perfect the day was! Definitely recommended!!

Amanda toner was absolutely amazing she did an excellent job in our wedding. Mystic Marriott exceeded my expectations. The food was also amazing and we received so many compliment on how everything was organized and presented. Overall my day was perfect.

We had our daughter’s wedding at the Mystic Marriott on 8/29/15. Living in SF, CA we did not expect the same sort of attention, service, execution or level of food – BOY WERE WE MISTAKEN!
Firstly, the staff support was amazing from the initial organization to the serving of the food to clean up!
We would recommend you getting Amanda Toner as your Event Manager. She has the best personality, follow thru and suggestions. She was a godsend during a very emotional event and is fun to be around. As mother of the bride she made my job so much easier.
The ceremony was on the Octagon Padio – very pretty. We had beautifully covered chairs - that really dressed the setting up! The hotel has a great set-up to ensure the bride and bridesmaids are not seen before the ceremony. Make sure you check where the sun is for the time of day you plan to have the event.
Our cocktail hour was outside of the Mystic Ballroom. At first I thought this would be very pedestrian BUT with the bar, tables, lighting it was actually very elegant. The food was fantastic and having it passed as a great plan.
Mystic Ballroom was perfect for our 100 person party. Once again I was surprised how the hotel transformed the room into the fairytale setting my daughter has envisioned. The hotel was very accommodating using table sizes and arrangements that we wanted.
The food and service was the BEST part of the whole event. The level of food and production was NOT hotel level – it was 5 STAR dining level. Everything was beautiful to look at and cooked perfectly. We had both lamb and beef carved – such a great presentation.
The bar tenders were very accommodating and super friendly. The Service staff jumped to help with everything – always anticipating need.
Extra bonus – they have the Red Door Spa for make-up and hair needs AND the Bar stays open late!!!
If you want to have the perfect Wedding you should use the Mystic Marriott. We are so glad we did.

The Mystic Marriott made this an unforgetable event...Amanda Toner was absolutely phenomenal...throughout the entire planning process she was nothing but friendly, accomodating, attentive, and full of wonderful ideas...it was a pleasure working with her and the staff...Everyone was very professional at all times...The food and drinks were awesome...Amanda did an awesome job of making our vision a reality...she did a phenomenal job with the enitre set up...we can't say enough...they exceeded our expectations...I would recommend this venue over and over...you will love working with Amanda...all of our vendors raved about her and how she did an exceptional job...
We used the Mystic Marriott for our rehearsal dinner (at their Octagon restaurant) as well as our wedding hotel room block. Everything was excellent. While there were at least 4-5 other wedding blocks booked at the hotel the same weekend as us, we truly felt like we were the only ones there from how we were treated by the staff. Everyone was warm and inviting - from the front desk to valets to housekeeping to the restaurant staff. Nice, new hotel, and the unexpected extras they provided that weekend were thoughtful and much appreciated.
Our coordinator Darcey was great to work with in organizing all of the pertinent details and ensuring it was executed according to plan. Schedules conflicted a bit with some summer vacations in the middle, so it was sometimes difficult to connect with one another. But that being said, everything got very buttoned up. No issues that I'm aware of that anyone had with their rooms or checking in, despite having the typical guests needing rooms after the prescribed cut-off date.
The rehearsal dinner was great. Setup was just as we had envisioned, and the food was even better than expected. Service, as it was throughout the hotel, was impeccable.
We got a litany of positive comments from our guests on the accommodations and the rehearsal dinner - that combined with our satisfaction is the truest barometer that this was top notch. Would not hesitate to recommend them.
We had our wedding room block at the Mystic Marriott Hotel & Spa and held our rehearsal dinner at the Octagon restaurant and it was fantastic. The food was absolutely phenomenal. The service was impeccable and my friends and family had a wonderful time. I highly recommend this hotel for any occasion.
Lyndsay worked with us to make sure everything was completely perfect. She was very reassuring and that kept the stress down. My reception was exactly how I imagined it.
This is a top notch Marriott. All great amenities. Too bad that I had guests checking in the day of my wedding being told there was a computer "glitch", that lost their reservation and the hotel had NO ROOM?! My guests all had confirmation emails! And the shuttle I paid to safely run everyone was to this hotel - I had displaced guests/ family members ! That's completely unacceptable. I spent months preparing this block. Organizing welcome bags guests never received. Completely unacceptable. This property manager should be ashamed. We had thousands of dollars of rooms. I'm sure some room must have been open. To hear the next day I had family displaced is appalling.
The attention to detail was priceless. The only minor glitch was that the bridal room pre-reception wasn't ready. The coordinator tried to play it off that the suite wasn't in the contract because it had been previously booked by a local dance studio, but every time I met with the coordinator prior to the reception, I either asked if that was included or the coordinator explicitly pointed out the room and said this is where your party will be during cocktail hour. My hunch? She'd forgotten that the rooms were already booked. It worked out well though, as they quickly set up another room for us. I would have let it pass without mention, but the coordinator made it sound like they were giving us the room (which was included in our very expensive package) out of the goodness of her heart. That didn't sit well with me. Aside from that, everything was perfect.
We just had our wedding here a few weeks ago and couldnt be happier with this venue. Everyone at this venue from Darcey our coordinator to the hotel staff was exceptional. They made our wedding weekend feel very special. I was nervous at first having our ceremony and reception at the same location, I could never fully get the vision in my head but Darcey assured me throughout the whole process that it would be great and it was! The day was more than I ever could have imagined and I would highly recommend this to spot to others!
Let me say that the venue is lovely and very clean. The banquet service is good, and the food is good too. What I would complain about is the service provided by the event coordinators. My coordinator never returned my calls. She emailed me promptly, but I would have prefered to have her return my calls. The manager never showed up at my rehearsal and so I was stuck using a riser at my ceremony that turned out to be ugly. I had requested it be set up at the rehearsal so we could see it, but she was no where to be found. The food at the tasting was much better than it was at the reception, but it was still pretty good. The bar staff was cutting off people who were not driving, and were not that intoxicated, and the wait staff took meals and cake away from guests who got up to go to the bar.
Additionally, they lost the individual guest books from three of my tables-- the bp table, my parents' table, and my mother-in-law's table.
The location was beautiful, the cocktail hour was amazing, the hospitality suite was set perfectly, and the service was great. Over all, this is a nice place to hold a wedding reception, just be prepared for little things that are annoying. I think it is slightly overpriced, but I had a wonderful time, and our guests said they did as well. The recent overhaul to the property has made it look very classy. It is also convenient because of the Spa/salon located in the building-- I had my hair done there, and it looked amazing.
I was happy with my recent wedding at the Marriott. Besides some changes in personel which caused just a little bit of confusion, everything went as planned. :)
I loved using the Mystic Marriott as our reception venue. The food was fantastic, the service was great and we had the catering captain catering directly to my husband and I, which was nice. They even took our food back and re-heated it for us because we didn't get to it right away. The hall was beautiful and set up exactly how we discussed. We had a great experience with them!
