We had the most amazing wedding experience at The Seabird for our 3/30/24 wedding! Our planner originally recommended we tour The Seabird, and I was hesitant because I didn't want a ballroom vibe for our reception, but when we toured The Seabird we knew we were in the right place! The ballroom is bright and modern. We loved all of the different location options in the hotel and we were able to have each part of our wedding in a different, adjacent location: ceremony on the patio, cocktail hour in the hall, reception in the ballroom, and our after party in the Seagaze room. Rebecca, their onsite event sales manager, was so great to work with! Her communication was fantastic and she was able to make all our dreams a reality! When it rained on our wedding day, Rebecca and our planner worked together to move our ceremony indoors to Seagaze and it was gorgeous. The food at the wedding was fantastic and everyone raved about the bartenders. The Seabird offered amazing drinks options at the bar and was able to fulfill all of our special requests, including providing local beers and specialty cocktails. We had a guest who was acting inappropriately and we had to ask them to leave, and The Seabird staff worked with us and our planner to make sure everything was taken care of and none of our other guests noticed what was going on. We loved that everything was all in one spot and we didn't have to hunt around for food vendors or bartenders. I got ready with the gals in the spa salon and the hair and makeup professionals they provided were truly top notch. Betsy did my bridal hair and makeup. She made me feel so comfortable, gave me lots of opportunities to provide feedback, and absolutely executed the perfect look day-of. The Seabird also made booking rooms for us and our guests very easy! I went to the spa with my sisters the day after the wedding and we had such a fantastic experience! The space is a dream with a gorgeous ocean view and a relaxing space to lounge and enjoy some sparkling wine before and after your treatment. It was the cherry on top of a perfect weekend!

I absolutely cannot say enough about how perfect The Seabird is as a wedding venue!
To start, the terrace as a ceremony location is gorgeous; overlooking the Pacific Ocean with a stunning view. We also hosted our cocktail hour here, and it was great as the sun was setting. The reception was in Seagaze which was the perfect location for the size wedding we had (~80 people). The coordination with the event team was also great. The coordinator we worked with at the venue was extremely responsive and met every single one of our needs.
If you are going to have a wedding in San Diego county, look no further. The Seabird is amazing!
Still stunned with how amazing and wonderful my wedding turned out at The Seabird! We hosted our rehearsal dinner, welcome party, ceremony, and reception onsite and it was flawless. The staff did everything imaginable to accommodate us. From receiving our last minute Amazon packages to allowing us to store decorations in the event room to standing guard on the sidewalks during the ceremony, they really did the most to make everything go smoothly. Rebecca was amazing with communication to make sure we understood every detail of our contract and provided us with all of the information we needed ahead of our special day! The onsite staff was so friendly, helpful, and definitely knew how to have a good time! On top of that, the food was amazing!!! I am grateful from the bottom of my heart for everyone that works here and would recommend this to anyone looking for an unforgettable venue!

The Seabird was the PERFECT wedding venue. I truly believe that the venue is what made our wedding so great. All of our guests raved about how pretty the property & their guest rooms were. The food at our reception was cooked to perfection; we don't even know how they managed to cook everything so perfectly for 140+ guests at dinner. Their venue manager, Rebecca, was amazing to work with, and she always responded promptly throughout the planning process and made sure our vision came to life! I would highly recommend this venue to anyone - it is definitely worth a visit.
This was such an AMAZING place to stay on my wedding night! They upgraded us to their best suite for our wedding and we enjoyed it so much! The wrap-around patio view, combined with the Bath Tub overlooking the beach was incredible!
The only thing stopping me from giving 5/5 stars is that I've been to many resorts and they usually have a few more amenities included in their fee. Everything here, from wearing their robes to breakfast, is an extra charge. Even the best seats by the pool go for $100+ per day, so you can't even sit by the pool without incurring extra charges.
