This review is for the Highland Village location. I'm overall very disappointed with my experience. The service was even worse than the disappointing product. My husband had a beautiful custom diamond ring designed for me by the former main bos...s of Nasr. We came in to get a wedding band in December 2017 before our wedding in May 2018. We ordered an expensive band and were told that it would fit perfectly flush against my engagement ring, which has crossing thin bands that give it an angled shape. The person we worked with seemed like he was in a hurry and like he wasn't really listening to us, but assured us that the band would fit my ring perfectly while looking at said ring. We did not receive the band until March and it was completely wrong. The band was straight and did not fit against my ring at all.
We called immediately, and we were told that they would make a custom band at no extra charge. Again, we were assured that the new band would fit perfectly flush against my engagement ring. We live out of town, so we had to overnight both my engagement ring and the incorrect band back to Texas. We were told that they would ship the engagement ring and the new band back to us by the third week in April.
April came and went and we had no rings. My husband called at the end of April and told them not to ship the rings, because we were headed to Dallas for the wedding and would miss the shipment. When we arrived in Dallas the first week of May, we were told that molds of my engagement ring were still being made and they had not even started on the band. Our wedding was less than three weeks away at that point. I begged them to at least finish the molds in time for the first Saturday of May so that I could wear my beloved engagement ring at my bridal shower. The molds were not finished until that Saturday morning, and my mother-in-law had to go pick them up and drive 2 hours to deliver my engagement ring to me right as my bridal shower started.
We did not receive the wedding band until the week of the wedding. When my husband went to pick it up, the person at the counter wanted to have the engagement ring back so that he could "make sure it fits". There was no way in heck I was giving them my engagement ring again so close to the wedding day, so my husband just took the band home.
When I finally tried it on, not only did it not fit totally flush, it was crooked. By that point, I had too much on my mind and I just wanted to be married and on my honeymoon already.
Fast forward to May 2019, and we are back in Dallas for the summer. I was sick of looking at the big gap between my wedding band and engagement ring and had taken to not even wearing the wedding band at all, so my sweet husband went back Nasr and asked them to fix it. After one day, they called him to come pick up both rings. When he picked them up, he was told that the band would never fit perfectly flush because it was "handmade", completely contradicting what they promised.
When we first received the band about a week ago, it did look better than before, although not perfectly flush. However, today the band is already back to its previous crooked shape. I don't know what they did to it a week ago, but clearly they didn't spend enough time on it. I have thought about starting over with another jeweler but I'm so afraid of spending thousands of dollars AGAIN only to be treated with no consideration and receive an ugly, poorly made item AGAIN.
