I booked Nate Franklin films AKA Narrative forge for my weddings pictures. He was responsive when it came time to pay; outside of that? Good luck. He will disappear and after months of reaching out through all social media platforms, text messages, phone calls, he will randomly say “my wife is sick , I’m sick,” etc Closer to the wedding time in December I had to reach out to Nate and again no communication from him until two weeks prior about him trying to set up a phone call. You guessed it? It never happened, because Nate doesn’t communicate. THE DAY before my wedding he cancels - I get a call from the videographer saying “oh Nate didn’t tell you. He won’t be coming” Nate EVENTUALLY calls after saying he won’t be able to make it. Nate’s excuse for not showing up is “I have Covid and a heart problem and I’ve been in the hospital for months” did I feel bad? Of course until it was discovered it was a lie. Thanks to social media. I discovered several other couples who went through the same situation in different time frames. he had told them He was sick as well. It would’ve been believable had he simply communicated with me, yet continued to post images in his social platforms. I will say per his contract he had to provide a photographer in his place which he did. I attempted to reach out to Nate as I was told he’d be editing the pictures to see if he received the pictures and video content. No response. I continued to beg for my pictures and no response until I threatened legal action and asked for a refund. He quickly responded with more excuses “my wife is sick in the hospital” “I’m extremely behind” no apology whatsoever. If anyone can try and ruin your wedding date before during and after it’s NATE FRANKLIN FILMS, but don’t be fooled. His new page is now called “NARRATIVE FORGE” Still missing photos. If you need proof, reach out I have everything you need to NOT BOOK him.

After receiving our engagement photos in a very timely matter, we were excited to see what would come for our wedding day. Unfortunately, Nate and his team failed to deliver what was in the contract and still has not given all of our footage from our July 2024 wedding. He has been unprofessional and very hard to get a hold of. When the wedding video was finally received, it was missing drone footage and was not on par with other videos that he had advertised. Overall, I’m extremely disappointed. He missed so many moments and was given so many opportunities to make things right. Don’t fall for the price. At this point I would’ve paid whatever the cost to have had my Wedding day captured properly and without all the drama

Nate I’ve been constantly waiting. I don’t understand what’s happening. Did you lose our pictures and videos? Was a mistake made? You have given multiple time frames and claim you will send things or call but nothing has happened. There is no communication and we will be going into the new year. Please send me all my photos and videos as is and I will have someone else do it. This is very unprofessional, as I have people asking for footage and pictures and I have nothing other than the little you sent before.

We booked Nate and his team to do our wedding on March 30, 2024. Nate was very professional and took any and all photos that we requested and his team was great to work with. The day of the wedding could not have gone any better. However that's where it all stopped. We had a 30 day contract. After a few months and we had not received anything from them my wife reached out. Over two months she was unable to get a hold of Nate or his business. Finally he texted her and said we would have them any day. As of October we still hadn't received anything from Nate. I began to reach out and requested he give me a call to discuss. He failed to call me but did text. After 20 days of texting (mind you not one single phone call) Nate finally sent us our wedding photos. However as of 12/9 we still have not received our video. Two weeks of texts and calls with no answers. We now have to weigh our options as we may never see this at this point. Weddings are a very special day in your life and if you want to receive your special moment in pictures and videos DON'T hire him.

We LOVE Nate and his team!! Booking with Nate was easily the best decision my husband and I made for our wedding. His talent and professionalism is unmatched, and I’ve worked in the event industry and have been around other photo/video teams. We booked Nate two years ago and he was communicative from the beginning. We had the opportunity to do an engagement video with him in 2022, and from then on we knew he was the right choice for us! Nate and his team were so easy to work with on the wedding day. They did an amazing job making everyone feel comfortable and confident. The photos we have received so far are just amazing!! I can’t wait to see the rest. Again, we are so happy we booked with Nate!

We booked with Nate and his team for our wedding and had a pretty great experience! We got a great rate from a promotion he was running! Nate's very personable and kind, obviously cares about the quality of his work. We had Dulce and Peter at our wedding and they were AMAZING to work with. Dulce REALLY knows what she is doing and so does Peter - we were so happy to have them there. They got some amazing video and photographs. Everything turned out lovely. My main qualm though, was communication. It was quite difficult and honestly pretty frustrating getting in contact and getting answers from Nate/his team. I'm not sure if he's just too overwhelmed or what, but it would take a huge amount of effort to get a text or email back. Our contract did state we'd get everything within 30 days but that definitely wasn't the case... That's why we're at 4 stars and not 5. Overall though, definitely don't regret booking with him. Everything turned out great :)

I wanted SOO bad to write a raving review about this company. I do want to start off with how amazing the photographer and videographer were the day of. But sadly the communication completely ruined the experience. We got a GREAT price and package. We were supposed to be contacted 3 days after completing our first payment and had already made contact and confirmed the date. We never did get any messages. I even emailed a couple questions and never got responses. We never got scheduled for our engagement photos(included in our package). But chose to overlook that because the price was still great and we loved their work. The day of was Amazing. Everything went smoothly. We were then supposed to get our pictures within 30 days after the wedding. They were late which we didn’t mind except for the fact no one let us know. I messaged and emailed them a couple times with no real response. Eventually we got a response that we would get the video a week later which I then had to message them about and got it a couple weeks after. Had to message them a few more times and eventually talk about communication being an issue again to finally receive our photos 2 months later. We wouldn’t have minded waiting if the communication was there. We completely understand how much work goes into this art. The pictures and videos were AMAZING they were beautiful truly. But in the end I messaged back about extremely important pictures missing after going through them and were now a month later and still to this day missing a response at all. Extremely disappointed in that. Just wanted the future brides to know the problems I ran into and I hope no one has to go through this.

I wanted to love it more than I loved it... First of all, Nate Franklin himself is a VERY talented photographer. He is charismatic, he's super easy to talk to and feel comfortable around, and overall just a very charming personality. That being said, he is lacking terribly when it comes to communication. Emails, Facebook messages, instagram messages, direct text messages, etc. will not reach him. It may take up to a week for him to respond to any of these forms of communication. When he does eventually respond he of course is good natured and just seems forgetful, but after eight months of trying to coordinate a wedding I am just so frustrated and aggravated about the situation I am in. My agreement stated I would received "all final products within 30 days of the event." I received my highlight video in that time but had to continuously text, message, email, etc. to get any communication about the rest of the finished products I was supposed to receive. Finally I received a link (with no explanation as to why it was late) with my pictures, the pictures of course were beautiful except for the fact that they were orange. My entire wedding was all shades of pink and there is no pink in any of the pictures he sent me. I am so disappointed and have tried to reach out to discuss options (maybe getting the original photos so that I can have the correct colors) but of course, no response to my calls or any form of communication. I am still waiting on the raw video footage since that was supposed to be included in my contract, but at this point I dont know if I will ever even get that. I am so frustrated because I have LOVED his work up to this point and he is SO TALENTED but I think the lack of communication and now these orange wedding photos really has won over the talent and I just wish maybe I had gone with someone else in the end.

OVERALL- loved my photos but communication needs a lot of work. I found them very difficult to get ahold of before and after my wedding. They wouldn’t answer the knot, emails or phone calls. I finally got ahold of them via instagram and was told to continue to communicate via instagram. I got 8 photos as a preview a few days after the wedding but nothing since. I have tried multiple times across multiple platforms to get in contact with them asking for a timeframe to when I’ll get my photos and they just leave me on read or just don’t answer. Voicemail box is full. The only way to get ahold of this vendor was to leave a negative review and MINUTES later they suddenly were very responsive. I did receive my photos and I do love the photos and very happy with them but it took a lot of stress and miscommunications.

This team was so wonderful to work with on our wedding. They were incredibly professional and receptive to what we wanted and they delivered beautifully. The communication was quick and easy which took so much stress out from an already stressful event. If you’re on the fence on a photographer/videographer, go with nate, you won’t regret it.

The professionalism and quality of Nate Franklin Films is above all others! My husband and I contracted Nate Franklin Films for our wedding in Fort Myers on January 15th, 2023. Our contract included 8 hours of video coverage and 10 hours of photography coverage, as well as a complimentary engagement session. Also included in our contract were extremely low traveling costs. Nate Franklin scheduled periodic calls with us to get a read on our personalities and discuss what kind of shots we wanted. During our engagement session, Nate made us feel so comfortable, providing direction, feedback, and way more of his time than was in our contract. He provided us with more than 50 photos from that session within less than 5 business days, so we were able to add selections to our save-the-dates and mailed invitations within a tight turnaround. We didn’t need to provide him and his team with inspo shots because they knew everything that has been on trend with 2023 brides. He and his team arrived an hour before their contract time on my wedding day to scope out the venue, find the best lighting, and introduce themselves to our planner. They went above and beyond to get all the angles and shots I wanted, and they did it all without feeling like they were in the way or taking away from any of the presence of being there in person. We received our wedding photos about 6 weeks after our event. I spent about 3 weeks researching photographers and videographers in the Sarasota, Bradenton, and Tampa areas, and Nate Franklin was the best in terms of price, options, and portfolio. Book this incredibly talented team ASAP before they get overbooked! You won’t want to miss out on them capturing your big day!

Nate Franklin was SUCH a pleasure to work with. From the start, he answered every question and provided excellent service. He made my Fiancé and I feel so comfortable behind the lense and he really knew his stuff-like the best lighting and poses. He took our engagement pictures which turned out like a dream. His team also was our videographer for our big day. Watson got so many compliments from my bridal party and family at how professional and knowledgeable he was. Sometimes it was like he wasn't even there! The final product took our breath away. He captured our day with such detail, I cried! I cannot recommend Nate Franklin enough!!!

Nate was my videographer for my Daytona Beach wedding in May of 2022 and he was one of the best choices we made for the whole day. To be honest we waited until about a month before the wedding before we decided to even have a videographer and I'm so happy we chose Nate. He had availability and always was attentive and quick to answer every question I had. He was never pushy which I loved. I dont want to feel forced just reaching out to a vendor for such a big event and from day one he understood. Everything went so seamlessly. He was punctual and professional. Went above and beyond. He worked incredibly well with our photographer the day of and had our video done in just a few weeks. This video will be one we will cherish forever, it came out SO GOOD. He was super afforable and produces such high quality work! This man has talent! If you are on the fence about a videographer pick Nate Franklin Films. 100% I'd pick him every time.
