About this vendor
The National Museum of the Marine Corps opens its doors to host your special event.
Our beautiful chapel, which is located near one of our wooded overlooks, provides an outdoor wedding experience without the fear of getting married in the rain. The Chapel was built with the concept of a "transparent chapel in the woods," allowing guests to remain connected to their surroundings while being safely out of the elements.
We have several spaces for you to host your wedding reception. While we invite you to entertain your guests in the Leatherneck Gallery with dinner and dancing in the shadows of vintage aircraft creates a unique and unforgettable experience, we also have smaller spaces to accommodate those who wish to have a more intimate affair. We are able to work with many budgets.

Nicole who helped me through the process was fabulous. She helped me get the Chapel reserved in less than 3 weeks. She answered all my questions and made it less stressful. The Chapel was so Beautiful and I can’t Thank Nicole enough.
My husband and I recently got married here and loved the view, the scenery and appreciate Nicole Bauman with working with us. Especially with Covid-19 and planning a marriage from another state was a true challenge in itself, Nicole was patient with us and worked with us every step of the way. Even with Covid-19 occurring, we do not regret choosing this location for our wedding and will forever cherish this memory.
Nicole was/is the best!! Answered all my questions in a timely manner, even with covid happening. Things needed to be changed and it still went very smoothly with her help.
The Semper Fi chapel was a beautiful place to have our wedding! Centered in a quiet forest beside the National Museum of the Marine Corps, the chapel is in the perfect spot to capitalize on foliage. The staff was attentive, supportive, and very responsive, providing us guidance and answering all of our questions quickly. We are truly grateful to have started our life together in this amazing spot!
They are very punctual and good at responding to emails and phone calls.
The ceremony was amazing, I just wish we had gotten two blocks of time instead of one, 2 hours was not enough for pictures and all.
They have a microphone and an aux cord which saves us hundreds by not getting another dj for the ceremony.
We had such an amazing experience in the Semper Fi Memorial Chapel. Simple and elegant. It was the end of April and with the grounds all blooming, we needed almost nothing. We kept it simple, and the space did not disappoint. Low cost of venue was a plus too! This is one of those hidden gems of a location, and I only knew of it because of a wedding a few years earlier.
We held our wedding and reception at the museum on 10/28/17. The chapel was just beautiful and reception looked amazing. Food was wonderful and everyone loved that it was at such a unique and beautiful place. The staff was beyond wonderful and went above and beyond we can't thank them enough for everything they did before, during, and after. Thank you for making our day so wonderful!!
I loved the Marine Museum before our reception, and now I love it even more. First off, this is just a really cool venue. The atrium is breathtaking with the glass ceiling and the cool space, and having the museum exhibits open during the reception added another level of interest and entertainment for our guests. We heard rave reviews about the space and how unique and beautiful it was. Second, the food was delicious and is a reasonable price point. We heard great reviews from our guests about how the chicken and the steak were cooked perfectly. Our guests also loved the spring rolls, cordon bleu bits, and the pulled pork and corn bread bits we had as appetizers. The catering managers, Kathleen, and the events coordinator, Kendall, were extremely easy to work with and were great about responding to changes and being flexible throughout the entire process.
Pam, Kendall, and Kathleen were incredible along with the entire staff of the Marine Corps Museum. We had our son's Bar Mitzvah at the Museum. The staff worked with us to have kosher meals, outside vendors, open the chapel, arrive early for last minute drop offs, and just think outside the box. They came up with innovative drink names for the kids and set up the atrium for easy flow of traffic. Our Docent was professional and brought the museum to life. Most of the family and friends had never been to the Museum and now will make every effort to go back. We loved the Roast Beef (got rave reviews) and of course all the food which included a divine pasta bar. We had them open up the laser shooting range and the kids loved it. The best part is that this staff makes you feel special. Every minute is well thought out. They never let you get overwhelmed. What a beautiful location! The photographer stayed late just to take pictures for herself! Overall - just WOW
We had our wedding ceremony at the Semper Fidelis Memorial Chapel. I don't think there's a more beautiful place and the customer service we received throughout the process was fantastic!
Absolutely beautiful ceremony and reception. Everyone was professional and ensured everything went perfect. Ms. Kendall above and beyond by assisting with the wedding procession. She was a blessing. I highly recommend to everyone.
The Semper Fi Chapel made for the most beautiful wedding ever. No bias included. Kendall the coordinator was so sweet and extremely helpful she even went as far as to help with my veil during the ceremony and photos. You would regret not having your ceremony in this amazing chapel.
This is an absolutely AMAZING place to have your wedding!! My husband and I had our wedding there on Oct. 21, and everyone who attended was blown away by how great everything was. The in house catering staff is awesome, the food was delicious, and the Kendall (Special Events Assistant) is super nice and helpful. She always responded to any of my emails with questions really quickly and helped make the entire stressful process so much easier. The bartender (I forget his name) was fantastic. He remembered every single guests drink order, and was very nice. The museum was absolutely beautiful, the lighting in there was perfect! Not to mention the Semper Fi Chapel is gorgeous. It was an all around amazing time and I HIGHLY recommend this venue for your wedding! Especially if you are a marine, active duty or not. You won't regret it.
The food was greAt
My husband and I had our wedding ceremony in the Semper Fidelis Memorial Chapel on the NMMC museum grounds and had our reception immediately following in the Devil Dog Diner inside the museum itself. From day 1, the staff at the NMMC (especially Pam!) were amazing about making sure we were taken care of and answering my thousands of questions. We paid $1800 for the rental of both facilities, which included a rehearsal the evening before the wedding. Due to insane traffic, basically everyone was an hour late to the rehearsal and wonderful Pam stayed late to make sure that all of our needs were met. She was wonderfully helpful the day of the wedding, making sure everything was set up, delivered, and running smooth! Our wedding day was a total dream and I couldn't have asked for anything more!
The National Museum of the Marine Corps is wonderful place to honor loved ones and others who have served their country to defend our freedoms. It is also a distinctive and top-notch venue for a wedding and reception. The service by the staff, caterers and volunteers was excellent and professional. I highly recommend the museum for events, as well as a visit to learn more about the history of those who served.
Semper Fi
I used the chapel for my ceremony and the museum for my reception. The food was amazing and the chapel was gorgeous. Everything went so smoothly.
From the top to bottom/start to finish, our experience with the museum and museum staff was 1st class all the way. They exceeded our expectations and helped to make our wedding day memorable for not only my husband and I but all of our guests. Our friends and family are still gushing about the incredible venue, service, food...everything!
AWESOME! Reasonably prced as well. Having my wedding at the NMMC made it the MOST special day!! What a great location. The food, service and venue were incredible. I had no idea it was going to be that nice. The guests just couldn't say enough good things about the whole affair. The staff treated us like royalty. The museum and chapel were beautiful. Most importantly- the staff at the NMMC were so helpful with the planning and incredibly attentive before and during the event.
A friend of mine summed it up, "everyone will be talking about this wedding for decades."
Wish I could have posted some pictures- it was absolutely fabulous!
