Raphael is an absolute joy to work with from start to finish. He communicates well and responds quickly. On wedding day, he was so helpful and good at giving direction to get the shots he needed. We had some crazy unexpected weather and he worked hard to make sure we still got a beautiful video and it was better than we could've ever imagined! We just got our video back and we love it so much. We bawled watching it and really enjoyed the extra footage he sent over as well. He is very talented and made an absolutely beautiful video for us that we will cherish forever. The fact that he captured so much of our family and friends was a huge plus for us and I’m thankful we have these memories to look back on. I would recommend Native Tree Films to anyone looking for a videographer!

I hired Native Tree Films for my elopement in January, and even though we were on a small budget, he was worth every single penny and then some. Raphael was such a warm presence on our wedding day. He made me and my husband who generally aren’t people who want to be in front of the camera so incredibly comfortable. After receiving our highlights video, ceremony, and extra footage I have been on cloud nine! There aren’t words to describe how special all of it is to us. His creativity is second to none and I’m so glad I trusted him every step of the way. Knowing I’ll have these videos to look back on for years to come is quite literally priceless. Best decision ever.

tl; dr: Trust me, you’ve found your wedding videographer!! (take it from me, I’ve been in 10 weddings as a bridesmaid) Overview: Raph did an INCREDIBLE job on our wedding video! He was professional, responded timely throughout the wedding planning process and offered a variety of packages to best fit our needs. At first we hesitated on having videography but now we’re so glad that we did, especially because we picked Native Tree Films! I’m going to detail highlights below: Pre- wedding planning: Raph was very responsive from the moment I inquired about Native Tree Films to the moment he delivered our final video. Anytime we had questions, he not only sent responses but even included lighting diagrams to give us a sense of how lighting would be when I asked him. We decided to book a vendor partnership powerhouse which included Native Tree Films and Applehead Photography, which at the time (in 2023) included a discount for utilizing both teams. During the wedding: Raph showed up on time and brought a really calming presence to the high energy bridal suite. He offered suggestions on poses and really helped to direct us throughout the day. Unfortunately, our wedding day weather wasn’t ideal, which we thought would crush our rooftop dreams but Raph worked with us to still get the money shot! Most of our guests didn’t even realize we had a videographer during the ceremony because Raph was intentional about capturing moments but masterfully avoided taking the spotlight to do so. He captured every highlight from the day and I know we’ll treasure this video for a lifetime. Post wedding: After my husband and I watched the video, he said “I feel like I just relived the whole day!” And honestly, that’s the best part about working with Raph as your videographer and having a video from the day. He not only captured the moments but his music selection also really captured the energy and good feelings we had that day! The video delivery was timely and Raph made sure to communicate any changes/updates on timeline with us. The video quality is incredible and if you’re looking for an authentic yet cinematic recollection of your day, you can’t go wrong with Native Tree Films. Tens across the board!

The team of Native Tree Films are incredibly detailed and professional. I cannot say enough wonderful things about our videos that we just received back. They are truly cinematic and it's worth every red cent to be able to go back and watch these for the rest of our lives. The music, the editing, the moments captured. It's everything you'd want in a wedding video if you're in to something a little edgier and non-traditional - which we totally are. Thank you again Native Tree!!!

Raphael was the best choice for capturing the magic of our wedding day! It was so fun to look back at all the videos and we were so happy with all the content we got from that day. During the actual day and even leading up to the wedding, he was super nice and warm which was something you definitely need in your vendors on the day of --- when you're filled with nerves, it's nice to work with people who you feel very comfortable and connected to! The videos and the editing style -- perfection!! Everyone loved watching our videos too. (my family will be blunt and honest so the fact that they loved it to says a lot haha). As a video professional myself, selecting a wedding videographer was one of the most important parts of the planning process for me and the vendor I was the most particular about... and I'm SO glad we went with Native Tree Films! Raphael's vision is exactly what I was searching for - his shooting and editing style is such a fun, unique take on wedding films compared to the "traditional" wedding video. We absolutely LOVE the short film, plus all of the other content we received, and are so grateful to be able to relive the day for the years to come.

Raphael was amazing to work with. He was so responsive leading up to our wedding. He made everything feel so easy and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised when our videos came back early. There was so much content and the videography and music choices were so beautiful. My husband and I watch our videos regularly. I cannot recommend Native Tree Films enough.

We are full time wedding photographers so you could say our expectations were pretty high for the vendors at our own wedding. We see train wreck weddings more than we’d like and we knew that we wanted our wedding to be unique in every way. We have worked weddings with Raphael of Native Tree Films many times, and we knew his work was exceptional, but we couldn’t have prepared ourselves for the perfection he created for us. Our wedding video truly captured every essence of our day, from the heavy emotions of our private vows, to the goofiness of each family member, to the intense energy from the dance floor. We are truly and utterly obsessed with our video. We watch it every morning and every evening — no lie. Raphael’s energy at our wedding was also unmatched and he gave us many memories that we will always look back on and smile. Hiring him is truly an investment, and you’ll regret every minute if you don’t invest in him and his talent.

I wish more than 5 stars was an option. I’ve been typing and erasing and retyping this review for days to try and find the words to show my appreciation for Raphael and nothing I write seems good enough. He truly is the backbone of this experience. He is the reason we get to relive the best day of our lives over and over again- the way he captures our videos doesn’t just remind me of the feeling that day, I feel like I’m truly back in time living the day all over again. We got lost in the videos. He is the sweetest shadow, he doesn’t skip a beat and has the ability to balance making sure everything he captures is perfect while also making sure we enjoy the moment and aren’t distracted. It’s incredible. There’s no way to describe how busy and overwhelming a wedding day is no matter how much planning went into it, though it was the happiest day of my life, that came with tons of adrenaline leading to so many moments I barely remembered. Not only does Raphael capture moments beautifully, they way he delivers them is just as impressive. If there’s ONE person/vendor I had to choose from for this day, it would be Native Tree Films over and over again without a single doubt. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you, Raphael. NTF did an absolutely outstanding job shooting, editing and creating our wedding video. I can’t say enough wonderful things about NTF! Our video had us in tears, we got to relive our wedding day through the most beautifully curated video. Not one moment was missed, Raphael captured some of our now most cherished moments of us and our family. His talent is so obvious! We wanted a video that reflected our personality and we got that and more! It is more than just a documentation of our wedding, it’s an encapsulation of all the things that made our wedding day special to us. The experience is top tier from first contact to delivery of our final video. Raphael was incredibly responsive every step of the process, and when we got our USB delivered, it was just as beautiful as the actual video. We received a thoughtful keepsake package that gives you something beautiful and tangible to hold on to. We are also able to put our videos on our phone and access them through an App like experience that is OUTSTANDING! I can literally click on the app (which is a picture of us!) and watch out videos whenever we want! I makes being able to watch this investment we made often and easily. So grateful for NTF and Raphael for their creativity, kindness, talent and professionalism!

Having our wedding filmed was one of the best investments we made for our big day, and what Native Tree Films captured is so special and unique - a treasure we can share with family and friends for years to come. Raphael was easy to communicate with over email leading up to the event, and punctual and communicative during and after our wedding, as well. If you are nervous about having so many cameras around you during emotional and vulnerable moments, don't be! Native Tree Films truly made us feel so comfortable, and we often felt like they weren't even there, yet they captured the most genuine and authentic moments of our day. We were particularly impressed with how Raphael "teleported" around our venue, especially during our ceremony, and managed to stay invisible and out of our wedding photos 99% of the time. We are so obsessed with our wedding video, and will be recommending Native Tree to everyone we know!!

Native Tree Films captured our wedding day perfectly! It starting pouring down rain right before our first look, but they braved the elements with us to capture the most magical footage. I am so thankful that we invested in a wedding video because it allows us to relive the energy of our special day over and over again. The whole day was so surreal and it was indescribably wonderful to be able to watch the big and small moments that Raphael captured. There are so many videos out there that feel awkward and cheesy, but there is a true artistry to Native Tree Films. Our video is tender and sentimental during our first look and ceremony, but seamlessly transitions to the vibrant energy of our reception that takes me right back to the dance floor. We 11/10 recommend working with Native Tree films to capture all the most special moments of your wedding day!

On our wedding day, he was helpful in getting all the necessary shots, and worked seamlessly with our photographer. He & his assistant were punctual and attentive, and the end product is AMAZING. Raph and Thaize are the BEST! They know what they are doing! The best part about them is they build your video around a song, it's not just your average wedding video... When everything is over the only memory you have of your special day are your photos and videos. I couldn't be happier with the choice I made on booking Raphael and Thaize, they were amazing, friendly, kind, very responsive on every question, they exceeded our exceptions. When I received the Highlight video from our wedding I cried so much, seeing everything, the special moments, the little details, it took me back to that day. Raphael and Thaize had filmed my brother's wedding. We already admired their work at that event and decided to have a coffee together to know them better. We left the place decided that they would film our wedding too and it was one of the best decisions about the all celebration day. They are very attentive, professional, creative, funny and have a sensitive and very special way to see things. The result exceeded all our expectations! We got to know Native Tree Films through instagram and fell in love with their materials. My wedding video was one of the most talked about topics after the wedding, because it was so well done and exactly what we wanted. Many called it a film production! I recommend it for the quality of the editing, music and image and I hope we have the opportunity to hire them again for more special events.
