My husband and I got married at the Arbor Room last Friday - the planning process and execution of the entire event from start to finish was nothing short of amazing. Denise is the reason our experience was as wonderful as it was. She is a true asset to City Park and they are more than lucky to have her. Other than Denise, the rest of the staff were so kind and hard working, making sure my husband and I, in addition to my family, were tended to the whole time. Not to mention the compliments we received on the food the whole night. If you are thinking of booking your wedding at Arbor Room or any venue in City Park, DO IT. You will not regret it! We are forever grateful for the way they made our wedding day the best ever.
If you are looking for a reception location in a historic landmark location with New Orleans charm, look no further than City Park Pavilion of the Two Sisters!
When it came time to look at New Orleans reception venues we saw many that were very nice but once my daughter viewed this venue she knew it would be perfect! The groom and family were from out of town so wanted a New Orleans location since many coming to wedding would be experiencing NOLA for the 1st time.
The Pavilion of Two Sisters location was awesome! We loved the option of the indoor reception location with outdoor terrace overlooking Botanical Garden with fountain that guest could also enjoy.
The reception was fantastic and everyone enjoyed the delicious New Orleans theme menu.
We can not say enough about our sales associate, Denise Papadopoulos, who was fabulous throughout the wedding reception planning process. She was always very professional, easy to reach and talk to. She truly worked hard to make our daughter’s wedding dreams come true. She was on top of everything at the reception and helped keep us moving along with all as they say the time just flies!
It was truly a magical night for the bride/ groom and our families that will always be treasured!
Everyone had a great time and we received many compliments on all.
We highly recommend this location for your wedding reception!
Denise & her crew were fabulous. It was a rocky start at the beginning of planning, but on the actual day everything went off without any issues. All of our guests ranted a raved on the food, drinks, and services/amenities. I would 1000% recommend using Pavillon of Two sisters for your next event!
Our wedding reception at the pavilion of two sisters was perfect! Denise did an excellent job of keeping everything organized and perfect for our big day! Denise was great in communicating as well. Everything was perfect and clean. My husband and I felt so relaxed that everything was perfect at our reception! Beautiful grounds, staff members were professional and the whole experience was perfect.
My dream was to have my wedding at the Pavilion of Two Sisters and it was more amazing than I ever dreamed of! I had a different coordinator at first who was unresponsive and not really knowledgeable when I had questions or would take 10-14 days to respond. I switched over to Denise from many recommendations, and I am so HAPPY I did so. The experience completely took a turn. Denise is very experienced, professional and helpful. She works very hard to ensure your big day is everything you want. She is also very present and is waiting on you all night long at the wedding itself. The food at City Park is delicious and definitely the best bang for your buck. The Pavilion’s room and gardens are gorgeous! I highly recommend the Pavilion of the Two Sisters for your wedding venue.
We had our 10 year vowel renewal this month at the Parkview Terrace venue of New Orleans City Park. We worked with Denise on planning our event for the past year. She was excellent with communication throughout the process. On our event day we worked with April who made sure that we had everything we needed. The hospitality was amazing. The food was delicious. The venue was beautiful. Everything was great! Our guests all spoke highly of their experience. They enjoyed every minute. I am glad that we chose New Orleans City Park for this occasion! We may return for our next anniversary.
While looking for our wedding venue, we knew as soon as we walked into the Pavillion that it was the perfect space for us! It was charming. The venue has both indoor and outdoor access. It is stunning. What really sold us was Denise! She was SO helpful and was able to accommodate all of our needs. We had about 200 guests and everyone loved the venue. At no point did the food run out nor was there a single line for drinks! My husband and I ate in a private room before our big entrance. They brought us food and beverages. They made our big day so enjoyable and carefree. I HIGHLY recommend this venue!
We had the wedding of our dreams at the Pavilion of the Two Sisters in the Botanical Garden. First of all, Denise was incredible to work with. We planned our wedding fairly quickly, and Denise made the whole process as stress-free and fun as possible. We knew we were in good hands with Denise, so we could relax and enjoy both the planning and the wedding itself. We didn’t have a wedding planner and we didn’t need one because Denise always knew what to do and helped it all run smoothly. Then there was the food. It was delicious. We had a ton of choices to have our menu reflect our tastes. Most of our guests came from out of town, and the food was a wonderful variety of local specialties. Everyone working at the wedding was also kind and professional. And, of course, the setting is magical. The Botanical Garden is one of our favorite places, and it was so special to be able to share the place with our closest friends and family on our wedding day. We had an absolute ball! Thank you, Denise and City Park!
We had our wedding at the Pavilion of Two Sisters in May and were so happy with it. We worked with Denise who is the absolute best!
The food is great, and there's tons of options to make the menu what you want. It rained a little the day of our wedding, and our ceremony moved inside. It was still stunning and the staff handled the changes flawlessly. Thank you so much!
We had our wedding at the botanical gardens at city park. Our guests were blown away by how beautiful the space was!! April is so great to work with from planning right up until the day of your wedding, where she makes sure the couple getting married gets plenty to eat and makes sure everything runs smoothly. The catering is top notch with a wide range of foods to choose and beautifully displayed. The gardens are just a stunning place to have a wedding and reception.
The Pavilion of Two Sisters - PERFECT - Our wedding was the best night of our lives, and I am so happy we were able to celebrate our reception at the Pavilion of the Two Sisters. The food was INCREDIBLE. Let me say that again, the food was incredible. When we went to the tasting, we realized what a good decision we made with this venue. City Park is stunning, and specifically the gardens around the Pavilion made for the perfect setting for our wedding reception. I can't wait to see the photos! The venue is beautiful inside and out, the food is amazing, the staff was helpful... what more could we ask for. Denise went above and beyond for us, and I couldn't be more grateful to have had her with us at our reception to make sure everything went smoothly. 10/10 100% would recommend Pavilion of the Two Sisters and Denise to celebrate your wedding! Thank you so much for making our wedding perfect.
We were thrilled with our experience hosting our wedding at the Pavilion of Two Sisters in City Park. Denise P was amazing to work with and very accommodating of the many shifts to our plans during the pandemic. We cannot say enough positive things about her. The gardens were beautiful for the ceremony and this was a perfect venue with lots of natural light and both indoor and outdoor spaces. We loved taking photos with our bridal party in the botanical gardens. Having the Cafe Du Monde truck pull right up to the front of the venue was amazing! Our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the ceremony was near the fountains! We are so happy with how everything went.
We had our wedding at Parkview Terrace and it was gorgeous. They have so many different options for weddings of all sizes that include the natural beauty of the park. I especially liked that the catering and the wedding cake were all included. It made everything super convenient and stress free on the big day. We worked with April for about 2 years due to the pandemic causing us to reschedule and she was very patient with us. They have the whole wedding thing down to a science and after a super long engagement everything about my wedding was executed seamlessly.
New Orleans City Park was a dream to get married in. April helped us for an entire year get ready for our big day and was nothing short of amazing every step of the way. I am from out of state so I only got to talk to her over the phone and through emails and she was so sweet and helpful the entire time. We dreamed of getting married under the beautiful live oaks city park has to offer and April suggested the oldest oak in the park, the McDonough tree. It was the perfect spot and tree. She helped me decide on menu options and helped coordinate with all of my vendors for the day. She made planning our wedding here absolutely delightful. She was there the night of our wedding and I was so happy to get to meet the wonderful woman who helped me planned my big day. We had our reception at the Parkview terrace which was the perfect size for a small
Wedding. It was beautiful and the staff was amazing.
We had our ceremony in the Rose Garden and reception in the Garden Study Center and Lath House. Everything was perfect and we loved being surrounded by the natural beauty of the gardens. I'd definitely recommend getting bistro lights strung up between the two buildings for added ambiance at night. We worked with April throughout the extended planning process and the day of, and she was great. We also absolutely loved the whole team who made and served the food. They were amazing and friendly, and the food was delicious. We were so excited to be sent home with a nice going-away basket from the park and containers of the tasty hors d'oeuvres.
It’s was everything I was looking for in a reception venue. Indoor space and endless beautiful gardens. So much natural light and space, it can accommodate any type of wedding! I couldn’t image having my reception anywhere else. Denise, who was the coordinator, was incredible and made the whole thing seamless. Highly recommended.
City Park is the perfect venue for a New Orleanian wedding from the gorgeous setting, variable party layouts (inside and outside areas so it doesn’t matter the weather), and delicious food. The staff are amazing in the booking and planning process (Mrs. April is such a wonderful advisor and experienced hostess) and on the night of. I have had so many guests compliment the servers for their friendliness and enthusiasm. They felt like they had personal waiters. Having planned a few parties before at a smaller scale, I can say for certain that City Park is the best in terms of quality and service. I really wanted to have food that did justice for New Orleans, and City Park delivered what felt like recipes from all the famous restaurants. I would use them again without thinking; they were perfect!
Beautiful venue! Peristyle was easy to decorate and a great rain plan in case of weather!
As out-of-town parents of the bride, we were more than a little apprehensive how everything would come together on our daughter's special day. She chose the Conservatory for the ceremony and the Nature Study Center/Lath House combination for the reception. Not only are the botanical gardens just naturally beautiful, but Denise was absolutely great! She met with our daughter in the evening so she could check out our lighting concerns, (note- go with renting bistro lights, fairy lights, or a combination thereof instead of turning on the large industrial lights in the lath house for a really nice ambience,) worked her magic on the seating arrangements, answered our three page list of questions with absolute patience, and catered to our special requests. She never acted like we were bothering her- very professional! Courtney was the personal attendant at the rehearsal and wedding and made everything run smoothly, guiding and directing us. She looks out for the parents and the bride and groom, taking care of all the details and even making sure we got our food and drinks when we were busy "hosting." How nice is that? Serving staff was courteous/friendly and food was delicious! Trust City Park! They they will work with you . They got this down!
I cannot say enough about how City Park made sure that my wedding was the most amazing day! Wendy, Pat, Shawn and Courtney and all their staff went above and beyond. We got married during the hurricane Barry weather scare and we were not sure we would even be able to have our wedding the week leading up to it. But everyone at City Park hustled to make sure we had a venue with generators and back up plans and our day could not have turned out any more perfect. We received so many compliments about the ceremony and reception, the food and the outstanding service. They made sure we were fed and had drinks throughout the night and sent us off with some many yummy surprises. I couldn’t never thank them enough for making our wedding day perfect.
Highly recommend City Park as your venue for ceremony and reception! Our ceremony was beautiful outside by the flute fountain, and the party was next door at the Pavilion of Two Sisters. The sales team was easy to communicate with, and the day of execution was flawless!
City Park hosts weddings ALL the time and it shows - in a good way! They have it down to a science and know how to take care of every situation. The venues are all beautiful - we had our wedding in the botanical garden, what they call the "Garden Study Center/Lath House/Conservatory" space. Our guests raved about the food and the service. The planning staff were cool with our quirks and the weird things we wanted to try (including a kids play area). I would absolutely recommend City Park for any type of event, wedding or otherwise!
City Park the Pavilion of the Two Sisters has always been where I wanted my wedding. I looked at a few other venues but knew that City Park was where my wedding was going to be. They make it so easy--City Park has everything down to a science. We had both our ceremony and reception at the Pavilion. The rehearsal went smoothly and everyone left feeling prepared for the big day. Everything was absolutely gorgeous the day of our wedding. The food was outstanding--my guests are sill raving about the food a month later. The service is incredible. They truly make you feel welcomed and special on your wedding day. Cathy was my sales rep; she was patient and answered every single question I had (no matter how trivial it now seems). Denise was my day of coordinator and I cannot say enough nice things about Denise. She was absolutely incredible and attentive to everything my husband and I needed along with my family. I absolutely recommend City Park to anyone looking for a wedding venue.
Our daughter and son-in-law were married here 3/23/19--and it was AMAZING! Beautiful setting, excellent food, careful attention to detail by Courtney and Cathy, prompt response time for communication leading up to the event, unbelievable service (they even attend to the parents!!) and overall an excellent venue and GREAT PARTY!!!
Excellent place to have a wedding! The wedding planners were SO helpful, the food was AMAZING (as the guests constantly told us!), the venue was perfect. The fact that the venue, catering, cake, was all taken care of in one place, with great suggestions by the planners, was so helpful. Duiring the wedding Courtney made sure all parties were where they needed to be, than made sure the brides and parents were taken care of during the reception (water, food!). The wait staff were so nice as well. Highly recommend !!
Great location! Was very easy to set up , you just have to watch the park goers around your decor they got a little to handsy at times it was a good thing we had family watching. Other than that it was fantastic.
April at City Park was great! She was wonderful at explaining every detail, and helping us find exactly which venue would be perfect for us. The botanical garden was gorgeous and the perfect space
I cannot say enough about City Park! Our wedding reception was at the Pavilion, and it was absolutely beautiful! Truly everything we dreamed. The staff is amazing to work with! Wendy was our coordinator, and I already miss my talks and visits with her! She is a gem. The food is by far our favorite at any venue from any caterer in the city! We received so much wonderful feedback from guests about the staff, food, and how truly gorgeous the venue is. As much as I want to relive our wedding night, I look forward to going back to visit the Pavilion for another wedding reception!
There are no words to describe how happy I was having both my wedding and reception at the Parkview Terrace in City Park. As an out-of-state bride with an out-of-state MOB, the ladies at City Park totally came through with helping us plan. I hadn't even seen my ceremony or reception space until the rehearsal, but their experience and guidance allowed me to trust that it would all work out.....and it did! Perfectly. Cathy was great at communicating with me upfront with all the details for planning and then for the rehearsal and day of the ceremony, Courtney knocked it out of the park! From handling the vendors to wrangling the wedding party, Courtney was on top of it. I even had red wine spilled on the back of my dress and she was there in no time with the club soda wiping it off. Throughout the night, guests kept coming up to me telling me how great the food was and how beautiful everything was. This sounds cheesy, but it literally was a dream come true. I want to relive that night over and over and I know that City Park had a huge hand in making that happen. Book them now!
Let’s just say that City Park has weddings down to a science. From planning with Wendy, to the day of coordinator, Courtney, everyone made sure everyone was taken care of and everything ran smoothly. Courtney and the staff made sure we were well fed and kept on schedule while totally stress-free. I️ would recommend for not only the staff, food and drink, but also the beautiful setting at Popp Fountain and the Arbor Room. If you want a stress-free and beautiful place to get married , look no further. I️ highly recommend!
I used the Pavilion of The Two Sisters. It was so easy and the staff was amazing. They took care of all the details. All I had to do was pick a menu from their extensive options. They dealt with all the vendors directly and all we had to do was show up and have fun. I particularly loved working with Courtney who helped guide me through the whole planning process.
I cannot say enough about the well-oiled machine that is City Park. We had our wedding at the Arbor Room at Popp Fountain on the other side of City Park, and everything was AMAZING!
Our wedding coordinator/liaison was available whenever I needed her, and she was absolutely wonderful in answering all of our questions. The space itself is beautiful on its own, but literally any decor will liven it up. It works with anything.
Let's talk about the food. The food is probably the best food you'll have at a reception almost anywhere in the city. ALL of our guests are still commenting on how amazing the food was, and it's been two weeks. Yeah, it's that good. And truthfully, the prices were definitely more reasonable for the wonderful quality of everything. And they didn't lock us into how they do things - they completely let us decide how we wanted our menu and accommodated our tastes and feel.
They only have two or three mass-tastings, where we met two delightful staff members who kept my Fiance and I company in the midst of all the families. They were so great, they agreed to work the night of the wedding, and Kim and Tonya took the best care of us.
I cannot overstate how easy they made everything and how wonderful this night was. I'm so happy we chose City Park.
April Laughlin is amazing. Great service, great food, great drinks, so organized. We had the most amazing reception!!!! They make sure you and your families are having the best time. City Park throws the best parties!!!!
We had our wedding in April at Popp Fountain with the reception following in The Arbor Room. City Park provided a perfect venue for both that we are forever grateful for. The staff was there for every step of the day and night offering support for my wife and I and our guests. The food was incredible, we keep hearing compliments about it. The bride and groom will have the chance to enjoy it too, so don't you worry...City Park will take care of both of you! The venues were beautiful, clean, spacious, and the perfect location for such a special day. Thank you City Park for everything!
City Park is the dream wedding of all NOLA brides. I always said I was going to get married there as a little girl, and I'm just in awe that it all actually happened. Not only is it a beautiful location no matter what venue you choose, they make planning and hosting a wedding there EASY! The staff members became so much like my own mothers. Their love and excitement for my big day was pure and genuine. I was amazed at their special support for me when I was just really another bride, another client. They didn't make me feel that way. The food is the top trait I hear from all of my former wedding guests. It's specifically Cajun cuisine and perfectly made to satisfy all taste buds! You can't go wrong booking with City Park. It was a dream come true. Literally.
The pavilion during celebration in the oaks was the best. Absolute perfection. Great food and excellent service.
Absolutely awesome! We were blessed with perfect weather, all sun and low humidity. But Wendy and Denise held the event rehearsal, ceremony and reception together perfectly! We had an afternoon wedding at The Arbor Room and Popp fountain, but had our ceremony under some oak trees because of how sunny it was. It was perfect. We were fed right after the ceremony, I always had a drink in my hand and even our parents and grandparents were attended to! Food was fantastic (though I unfortunately ate more at the tasting than my reception) but we were given to go boxes of food, and both families were too! It is clear throughout the whole experience that City Park definitely knows what they are doing and thought of everything for our special day.
Although our sales representative leading up to the day was not super helpful, Shawn from the Arbor Room was an incredible day-of-coordinator and the service ended up being wonderful. The room looked beautiful, everyone loved the food, and we felt completely taken care of as the bride and groom by Shawn.
City Park was my dream wedding venue, and everything about our wedding was perfect. The Park's Sales & Catering Staff was amazing. The setting—under an ancient oak tree, dripping with moss—was gorgeous. The catered reception in the Parkview Terrace was fabulous. All of our guests loved the food and the locale.
I can't say enough good things about my wedding experience with City Park. We held our wedding at Popp Fountain and our reception at the Arbor Room. When we initially booked the venue, I will admit it was a bit difficult to get in touch with the staff and get things clarified, but that's the ONLY complaint I have, and it's understandable considering how many weddings they put on at their various venues in the park. The tasting event was a treat, with welcoming and helpful staff and delicious food. As we neared the date of our wedding, our wedding team was very communicative and involved. We appreciated our main contact as well as our day-of assistant. With bad weather looming, they did every thing they could to guarantee we got our ceremony outside, which we really wanted-- and we did, with their help! I would highly recommend this venue.
Let me first say that City Park is a beautiful venue, and the food provided through their catering service is delicious. If you are planning your wedding yourself, however, I can't say that I'd recommend this venue. I had a relatively small wedding (<100 guests) at the Parkview Terrace (with the ceremony outdoors) and since I have an event planning background, I did virtually all of the planning myself. My salesperson left MUCH to be desired. Her attitude was awful, she was late to our on-site meetings, failed to disclose information which directly impacted my budget planning process, gave me incorrect information which also impacted by budget planning process, and was generally indifferent about the details of my wedding which showed in the number of times I had to email her in order to get responses or clarifications. And since you don't meet the "day of" coordinator until the REHEARSAL, your salesperson is the one you have to deal with until then. My day of coordinator, Kim, was great and really proved to pull the whole thing together since I had ZERO confidence that my decor would be in the correct place or that my vendors would be able to figure out where to go with my stuff. If not for her, City Park would probably be receiving one star--mainly for the food--and the beauty of the natural setting. So, be prepared to be stressed out throughout the whole planning process because of incorrect information and a lack of communication (with Wendy), and then get nickel-and-dimed at the end. But at the end of the day, I was able to have a good time with the people who matter to me the most, which is what I'll always remember.
The arbor room was great. The food was excellent and the attendants were spot on with myself and my groom. Very pretty scenery
Everything was perfect and everything I had wanted and more. Cathy did a great job finding listening to what I wanted and delivering. Everything was so easy, they are pros. All the guests talked about how amazing the food was and how they were surprised how much there was. Sean and Courtney did a great job organizing on the day of, so amazing and easy!
My husband and I got engaged in New Orleans a few years ago and as soon as he popped the question I knew I wanted to have my wedding in the city we both loved! As the opportunist I am, I took the opportunity to check out a few venues that same weekend that I had been scoping out (we had been together for a long time so I knew the proposal had been coming). One of those venues was City Park Botanical Gardens. Immediately upon stepping onto the grounds I fell in love as I knew I wanted a garden wedding and it was beautiful! Of all the options they have, I had my ceremony in the Rose Garden, cocktail hour in the Garden Study Center and Lathe House and reception outside in front of the Conservatory under the stars! The food and staff the day of were amazing and so attentive.
I am taking away one star as the coordinator I had to support me throughout the process was terrible! I was a destination bride that got married a little over 2 years after I had gotten engaged. I'll be the first to say I'm very type A in my organization and communication style so I would email her from time to time (initially every 6-8 months or so and then closer to the wedding more frequently). More often than not my emails would go unanswered and I'd have to continue to follow up with her just to get a simple answer to a question. She only started to care to provide support around 2 weeks before the wedding - even then she had gotten details wrong that I had vetted for her many times. I was so relieved that a few months before my wedding I had decided to hire a day of coordinator because I was not confident in the service that she would provide me. My day turned out so much better because I had made that decision. Advice to City Park - don't advertise that brides will have a coordinator to support them with their planning throughout the process if they really only care to help you 2 weeks before your actual date. Need to do a lot better with managing expectations if that's the case!
Our wedding at the Peristyle was absolutely gorgeous. The location is so beautiful that you don't need any extra decorations. It fit 150+ guests and was perfect for our whimsical New Orleans wedding. Kimberly was very helpful setting the whole thing up. I'm so glad to have chosen the Peristyle!
Beautiful park, everyone was so friendly!!! Thanks again!!!
Did this for free!!!! got married under a tree behind Popps bandstand. Could not have been more beautiful and perfect for us. Now it is not private but who can not appreciate onlooking strangers in the friendly city wishing you congrats?!
Overall, City Park was an excellent venue for both my wedding ceremony and reception. We had the ceremony under the oak trees across the footbridge, and the accompanying reception at Parkview Terrance. Both spaces were stunning day-of - the perfect natural setting for our New Orleans wedding.
I'll admit, I was actually very nervous about how everything would go at this location during the planning process - we had consistent communication challenges with April, our sales rep. Happily, we ended up working with Shawn as our day-of coordinator. He exceeded our expectations in every regard. Shawn was there through everything - cuing both my bridal party and me for when it was time to walk down the aisle, making sure we had food throughout the reception, refreshing our champagne, showing us ways to cut the cake - he was AMAZING.
The food and drink offerings were stellar. Having access to the outdoor balcony throughout the reception was perfect, especially since the weather was so great! Service during the event was phenomenal.
I would absolutely recommend this venue for any ceremony and reception. Just be mindful that communication may be lacking during the planning process - stressful, but all was worth it in the end.
i booked the Botanical Garden for my wedding ceremony and the Conservatory for my wedding reception. I Cannot say enough good things about City Park - Cathy Persica was a pleasure to work with. She made sure all my needs were met through the planning process. The food and staff were also amazing. We booked the hor d'oeuvres from them plus and additional shrimp and grits station and a salad station. Both stations were delicious, every guests gave compliments. Michelle, the lady assigned to me that day did a great job as well. She made sure me, the groom and both parents were taken care of through the whole night. The best!
Peristyle is great for an evening spring or fall wedding -- it was super easy, you have the place for the whole day. We had lawn games across from the Peristyle in the morning/early afternoon, an evening ceremony, and then we brought in our own champagne and beer to pour ourselves for a cocktail hour immediately following. It was the perfect balance of a space that felt meaningful and sacred but laid back. The pictures are gorgeous and our guests were amazed by the spot. Make sure you give detailed directions to anywhere in City Park, though, because GPS/Google Maps/taxi drivers get super confused!
Our wedding was at the Arbor Room. Not only was it absolutely beautiful and perfectly planned out, but the staff was SO friendly and accommodating. They made sure my husband and I ate and had time to do everything we wanted to do at the reception. They were always there (from the moment we stepped out of the limo) to hand us a drink and make sure we had everything we need.
Not only that, but the food was RIDICULOUSLY good. My guests were so satisfied; being an Italian New Orleanian, making sure my guests were happy with the food was a top priority to me.
They are very professional and friendly at City Park. They make sure to treat the couple and their families right. My parents, my husband's parents and my husband and I were sent home with boxes and boxes of food from the wedding. We were thrilled! They even gave us a complimentary care package. My parents didn't have to lift a finger for anything once the reception was over. They made sure to get the gifts in the car before my family left so that they could exit with ease. My family and I couldn't believe how professional and caring the staff was. This is a highly recommended (and reasonably priced) venue.
The Arbor Room / Popp Fountain is the PERFECT place for a reception. The food is amazing! The service is incredible! I love that the Arbor Room is one big room, everyone can be together, but you can also go outside. Wendy was our "wedding coordinator" and she was phenomenal!!!!! She was constantly checking up on us and making sure we were able to eat and have something to drink. My husband and I did not leave the dance floor the entire night!! The Arbor Room is the greatest place to have a reception!! LOVED it!
The wedding was like a fairy tale.
We used Pavilion of the Two Sisters for our wedding reception and the Azalea Garden for our cocktail hour and it was absolutely beautiful!! The botanical gardens speak for themselves -- my guests loved the aesthetic of the cocktail hour. Cathy Persica was so wonderful to work with. She helped out with every little detail -- from the catering, to table setup, to the flow of guests from the cocktail hour to the "big reveal" of the reception space. She made my wedding planning experience so seamless. I would highly recommend Pavilion of the Two Sisters. We had a sit down dinner and open bar, the food was amazing, and the venue was absolutely beautiful!
I cannot speak highly enough about the service and value of City Park! The venue was ~$1500 less than the next "cheapest" location, but still included catering, my cake, etc.
They literally did everything I asked, and my wedding went without a hitch. They thought of things I would have never expected, and really treated myself and our families like royalty on our wedding day.
I planned this wedding completely on my own (my family and bridesmaids live out of town), and I planned it in less than 6 months. I fully believe it could not have gone any more smoothly, and it was 100% due to the services and client service of City Park.
Cannot say enough good things about City Park - the food, venue, staff etc was great. You will not go wrong with this location. BTW we had our wedding at Popp Fountain and the reception at the Arbor Room - both were beautiful!
This venue was absolutely exceptional in every way! It's beautiful. The food is delicious and plentiful. The entire staff was incredible from start to finish. Our reception was phenomenal, and I have received tons of compliments on all of the above. Several guests even said it was the best wedding they have ever been to. I highly recommend this venue for any reception style event. Ms. Cathy, the sales director, is a gem!
Had a blast at the pavilion of the two sisters and absolutely lived the staff!!!
My wedding was held outdoors at Popp Fountain and the reception was held next door at the Arbor Room. Everything turned out absolutely perfect! We had a wedding attendant that was very attentive and we didn't have to worry about a thing. There is no need for a wedding planner since he helped coordinate vendors and keep the bridal party moving in the right direction. The food was catered by City Park and everyone loved it! This is a relatively new venue but it is very simple and you can really make it your own. We used blue up lighting and brought in magnolia trees to line the back wall.
We had our reception at the Arbor Room. April helped us every step of the way and everything went better than we could ever had imagined! Everything was beautiful and the food was incredible!
