This space was the perfect location for our intimate micro-wedding of 30 guests. The courtyard captures the magic of New Orleans while providing a tranquil and quiet reprieve from the bustle of the streets. The natural beauty of the space allows for minimal decor but can also act as the perfect canvas for whatever your dream may be.
Our guests loved the cocktail hour we hosted inside the museum- it provided adequate space for mingling and also allowed them to peruse the museums wares! This historic space just kept giving!
Tamme, Rose, and the rest of the team were communicative, kind, supportive, and professional and our day went off with out a single hitch. Our vendors were so pleased with their experience working with the museum as well!
The Pharmacy Museum was the perfect setting for our 'till death' vow renewal! The courtyard was the ideal size for our group, and everyone absolutely loved the atmosphere. The event coordinators were hands down the most organized and responsive vendors we worked with, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. I can't recommend this venue enough for any event—it's truly a hidden gem!
Amazing venue. Amazing staff. Couldn’t have asked for better honestly.
Perfection! We had our wedding ceremony in the fall at the pharmacy museum and everything was simply wonderful. The team at pharmacy were professional, communicative, and fantastic to work with. The pharmacy museum was such a unique, wonderful place. Our wedding came out so beautiful thanks to the pharmacy museum. Highly recommend!!
Just the dreamiest venue we could have ever partnered with. We are thrilled beyond words to have had our anniversary celebration in their courtyard. Their team is as sweet as can be and the space itself has it's own magical presence. It truly was the perfect backdrop for our joy filled day and we will be forever grateful to have booked with them! All the praise - long live the Pharmacy Museum!
The Pharmacy Museum was the perfect place for our wedding. The courtyard is magical at night time with the string lights and the fountain. The first time we visited to check the venue out, Rose gave us a personal tour of the museum and explained the history. The cost of the venue was also reasonable compared to other venues in New Orleans.
The museum was so beautiful. We got married in the courtyard and it was perfect for what we needed. Very romantic and sweet. The museum staff was so responsive and helpful with anything we asked and really went above and beyond for us!
We had the best day of our life take place there!!
Our ceremony was held here in April and I truly feel the most confident in saying that we couldn’t have picked a better place!
The location was stunning-so much history and such an amazing backdrop-and the team was so so sweet! Can’t wait to visit for our anniversary!
This was the most beautiful and perfect spot for a romantic and dreamy wedding! You would never guess that you’re in the middle of the French quarter in this courtyard. We had our wedding ceremony and reception here and it was just the most magical and picture perfect night. I was concerned that there wouldn’t be room to dance during the reception but all of our guests were dancing and had a great time! The staff that was there on the day of was so kind and sweet to us as well.
NOPM is the perfect small, intimate location for your event. It is stunningly beautiful, the staff are so sweet and responsive. This venue is everything you could dream of for your wedding. The courtyard was so beautiful at night with all of the decorations, the museum offered so many spots for incredible photos. I can’t recommend the location enough, we are so happy with our choice.
We had a perfect ceremony in the courtyard of the Pharmacy Museum. This venue is beyond beautiful and we would highly reccomend it.
We were searching for unique venues in the FQ when we came upon the Pharmacy Museum - it was everything we were looking for. We had our ceremony in the beautiful courtyard (that needed almost no decor) with about 65 guests. It was beautiful and perfectly intimate for our group. We had Tap Truck greet our guests with drinks for a half hour and time for them to look around the entry exhibit! Everyone was wowed - The team was awesome & flexible. I would recommend the Pharmacy Museum to anyone getting married in NOLA!
My daughter picked this venue and it was beautiful. She had about 55 guests and it was the perfect size. The courtyard has so much character on its own. Adding more bistro lights and flameless candles and flower garlands on the tables, flowers all through the arch, transformed the venue into something magical. The museum employees were fantastic and Tammy went way above and beyond. I’m sure the couple will wrote a review when they return from their honeymoon. Loved this venue.
Loved this unique venue! The only part that I found difficult was having to spend an extra $1000 for an hour of venue rental. The timing only accounts for a 4 hour rental and you cannot use load in or load out time as part of your event. Other than that, we absolutely loved the space.
Yikes, communication is rough. Sent the details for my contract almost 2 months ago an haven't heard a thing back. this venue is beautiful and based on other reviews I'm surprised with my experience with them. But it'll be a hard no for us. Very disappointing.
I knew I wanted to get married at the Pharmacy Museum from the moment I saw it, and it did not disappoint! The venue itself is incredible – you really can’t ask for a more beautiful courtyard. Stephanie and Liz were so kind and easy to work with throughout the process, which for us included allowing us to easily reschedule our wedding due to the pandemic. Would highly recommend!
Such a beautiful space to celebrate! The team made our time incredibly special. Andrew & Paul XOXO
The pharmacy museum was such an amazing place for our wedding ceremony. It was gorgeous and the perfect size! The museum was affordable and looked AMAZING in all the photographs! Stephanie and Liz were so easy to work with. We had about 60 guests and it was the perfect size. The courtyard is already SO charming so we didn't require any additional decor other than chairs and some nice florals at the arch. I could NOT be happier - it was intimate and perfect, like our own private garden ceremony. It's also really nice because you don't hear all the noise and commotion from the quarter in the courtyard. : )
I highly recommend getting married here!!
I am highly impressed by the management and services provided by the New Orleans Pharmacy Museum. We had our wedding and reception here in February 2020. Since we live out of State, we booked this venue online without ever seeing it in person. Needless to say, I was super nervous about our decision in the beginning! However, after our very first call with the Pharmacy management, our minds were immediately put at ease. Stephanie, Liz, and the entire staff are so friendly, responsive, and downright organized! They sent me everything I asked for – including multiple photos, videos, a recommended vendor list, and a detailed floorplan. They were on top of anything we needed and made sure that our wedding went off without a hitch.
I was slightly concerned about the transition of the space from the ceremony to the reception but even that went seamlessly. With the help of our wedding coordinator’s team, the guests were moved into the museum immediately after the ceremony to grab a drink and explore the exhibits while the space was flipped for the reception. It really was perfect.
From the moment we saw the venue in person we were in love. The courtyard is truly magical. It has a special historic look as well as elegant and personal. We really didn’t even need to bring in any decorations because of all the natural beauty in the space.
My husband and I are extremely happy with how everything turned out and we have heard nothing but nice things from our guests about the museum. I highly encourage future brides to check this place out, you will not regret it!
Let me start out by saying that I did not get married here, we just did our first look here.
That was not the original plan, but Tropical Storm Olga rolled into town on our wedding day so this was the backup location.
My wedding planner and photographer both called the pharmacy museum to make sure it was ok that we do our first look here. The woman in charge, sadly I did not get her name, said it was ok. Long story short, it was NOT ok. For the maybe 10 minutes we were there trying to do our first look, (which is supposed to be such a special moment) the woman in charge stood by GLARING at us, came over twice to tell us we were in the way, and the third time she came over she told us we had to go because we were disturbing business. We were literally off in a little corner of the museum where no one else was. I understand her concern however the people who were there enjoying the museum seemed genuinely happy we were there, and if it was going to be a problem she should NEVER have said it was ok, we would have found a different location where we were going to be treated like human beings. Oh AND we paid to be there.
We held our ceremony with about 60 guests in the New Orleans Pharmacy Museum courtyard. The space is beautiful as-is -- we only rented chairs and put down a deposit on a clear tent in case of rain -- no other decorations or flowers necessary! They also had buckets for people to grab drinks on their way out to the second line. Everyone at the venue was a pleasure to work with, and I even think they helped to set up chairs when my coordinator was running behind on the day of. The cost was also low if you're renting out for an hour. All-in-all choosing the NOPM as our ceremony site was an excellent decision -- highly recommend!!
We loved the Pharmacy Museum. We hosted our ceremony in the courtyard and it could not have been more stunning. Guests arrived into the museum with a welcome drink which is such a unique, wonderful setting and were blown away by the beautiful courtyard out back. The team are awesome, flexible and quick to respond for planning. Its a very unique and easy venue to work with and would totally recommend for your event.
Every time we look at our photos, we feel incredibly lucky and glad to have had our wedding there, it was perfect for us. It’s a simply beautiful, intimate and truly unique venue. We had our wedding just before sunset so the light to dark photos there turned out amazing. The staff were wonderful, they helped us so much on the day of and were great to work with! We were stressed out about the weather the week prior since there isn’t a torrential rain plan, but we were lucky and everything was fine. My maids and I got ready at and walked over from the Hotel St Helene next door which worked out very well. Overall, we had the best wedding we could imagine!
We had both our wedding and reception at the museum and I could not have been happier with the venue.
The staff there was SO nice and accommodating, the venue was perfect for our intimate wedding.
The venue itself is very nice, and the staff are responsive. Just be aware that the drainage is horrible. After about 10 minutes of heavy rain, the courtyard flooded. Not long after, the inside of the museum flooded too. As a result, we were unable to have our ceremony there, and had to move to another venue last minute. We were still expected to pay for the venue, even though it was inoperable. We were told that we knew there was a possibility of rain and chose not to get a tent. I am not sure if a tent will prevent the place from flooding in the event of heavy rain.
My wife and I were married at this Museum, and it was an amazing experience! They allowed us to tour the entire museum the day before our ceremony, and it was amazing! For a beautiful courtyard and just a quirky, informative museum with amazing people who work there - everyone should visit when in NOLA.
Not only was the Pharmacy Museum an interesting and beautiful space for our wedding ceremony, it was reasonably priced and I can't speak enough good on the staff! The museum itself is absolutely awesome and our guests loved getting to see everything. Stephanie was SUCH a help with the details of the ceremony and made everything seamless! Thank you guys for making our day so special!
When I decided to have my wedding in New Orleans, my top requirement was an enclosed courtyard. I also wanted something intimate, unique and affordable. The Pharmacy Museum checked off all my boxes! I absolutely love the museum and using it as a venue was the perfect choice for my big day. If you're looking for an intimate venue that will make a visual impact without breaking the bank, this is for you!
This is the most spectacular hidden gem in the French Quarter!! My guests were blown away by how cool, different and beautiful it was. The best part of planning my NOLA wedding there was how easy it was to communicate with them. Stephanie was my go to girl and made it all seem simple. The night was totally dreamy and when you go check this place out you’ll see why!
We just had our wedding here of about 93 Guests. Not only is the venue gorgeous, but the staff is amazing. Stephanie and Liz were extremely prompt and helpful for the entire year I spent planning. They were wonderful with input, and communicative with my other vendors. I highly recommend this for events.
This. Space. Is. To. Die. For.
We had our ceremony at the Pharmacy Museum, and it was absolute perfection. We are minimalist anyhow, so we didn't add any extra crazy decor; we let the space do its own talking, and boy does it. Our guests went on and on about the perfect, quaint intimacy of it.
Not to mention, Stephanie and Liz are GREAT! Quick to answer any question or ease any worry. We are from Texas, so there were a lot of questions that I had to ask about the space since I couldn't just pop over, and they answered everything I needed.
If you're on the fence about a couple spaces, go with the Pharmacy Museum! It's stunning.
The Museum hosted our intimate wedding of 9pax and it was absolutely gorgeous. Such beautiful backdrops for photography, the space was perfect for the size of us despite my initial worries, and the use of the upstairs room was the best - the photos look amazing and the quietude and convenience of getting ready right there before the ceremony was a godsend. Stephanie was so friendly, warm and helpful right from the beginning of our chats when I was still deciding on a venue, and she and Liz are both professional and organised.
I couldn't recommend the New Orleans Pharmacy Museum enough for hosting your event. I recently had my wedding/reception there and it was a FANTASTIC experience. They were wonderful and went above and beyond to make sure my new husband and I were taken care of. If you are looking for a venue to host your small event then look no further. I couldn't recommend the Pharmacy Museum enough.
We highly recommend hosting any event, especially a small wedding reception at the New Orleans Pharmacy Museum!
Everyone was easy to work with and walked us through everything we would possibly need to know or deal with on our day. Their relationships with other vendors also made communication, organization, and the day-of coordination SO EASY. The onsite security provided comfort and assistance to our guests and vendors.
On top of the overall ease of operations, the atmosphere of the museum is perfect for an intimate, personal event. The gorgeous courtyard offers a classic New Orleans feel including simple gardening and a sweet fountain. The first floor of the museum also gave the bride and groom an opportunity to step away from the action and enjoy some quiet moments together. We absolutely adored having our reception here!
My wife and I got married in the Pharmacy Museum two weeks ago. We had around 100 in our wedding party and held our ceremony in the Pharmacy Museum court yard. Quite simply, Elizabeth was amazing she had great suggestions and even arranged for a post ceremony champagne reception in the museum before our second line. The venue itself is very beautiful. Our guests were all very complimentary and even when we had an unexpected gatecrashing band, Elizabeth and Stephanie handled the situation professionally and with a touch of humor making the occasions all the more special. I would highly recommend the Pharmacy Museum and their team for a french quarter wedding where you want a beautiful and intimate setting. Thank you for all your help and making our day so special - Matthew and Lindsey
The courtyard was super charming and the staff were so awesome to work with. They went above and beyond for us and made our wedding day perfect. The location was perfect for our small intimate wedding and there is (paid) parking beside it, which is convenient considering the location in the French Quarter.
We had our wedding ceremony for ~90 people in the courtyard of the Pharmacy Museum, and it was absolutely perfect! If you haven’t seen the courtyard, take a few mins to pop in and you’ll be blown away. It’s lush, cozy, and inviting. The brick walls and fountain in the background and gorgeous extras in an already stunning courtyard. The place is so beautiful you barely need additional decor; we added a couple flowers and candles, and that’s it. And inside the museum is stunning as well, with all the old medicinal jars and equipment. There’s plenty of space for the bridal party to gather upstairs before the ceremony begins, and we treated our guests to champagne before our second line, served from the awesome old soda fountain near the entrance. Stephanie and the rest of the team at the Pharmacy are so easy to work with and made sure everything went smoothly in the planning process and on the day of. (We even had Stephanie officiate our ceremony, and she was wonderful.) If you’re looking for a beautiful ceremony venue, a cozy outdoor space for rehearsal dinner, or a cocktail hour, you cannot go wrong with the stunning and charming Pharmacy Museum courtyard.
The location is gorgeous, interesting, and was an absolute hit with guests. They loved sitting in the courtyard and wandering around looking at the old pharmacy instruments and documents set behind beautiful wood and glass cases. It was the perfect place for pictures and guests were so amazed with the venue. So many people asked how we found the museum. It's a gem and the staff is equally precious. They could not have been more accommodating or kind. Its lovely and I didn't want to leave.
We had our wedding ceremony here and it was beautiful! Just what we were looking for, a large courtyard in New orleans! The staff there is amazing as well. They were always available for questions or concerns. Thank you Pharmacy Museum for a beautiful ceremony!
We had both our ceremony and reception here. I can not talk about this place enough!!! It was beautiful and the staff is wonderful. They really went above and beyond to make my day special. They even found a way to bustle my dress better that what the dress maker did! The location is great and the details of the museum just make it seem magical. The courtyard where we had ceremony/reception was breathtaking. The ladies (and men) who work there made me feel special from the minute I booked it and helped suggest where to set stuff up and other ideas. I can go on and on about this place. I want to get married again just to use this venue again!!!
Absolutely beautiful venue. The courtyard is simply stunning. We only added very simply décor to the already breathtaking courtyard. White candles at the fountain and we converted the archway into an elegant chuppah. Our ceremony guitarist played from the balcony with a 40 foot extension cord (not a lot of outlets at the museum). Meanwhile, the second floor of the museum was where the bridal party got dressed and then we signed the ketubah. If you're going for romantic, this place is a hidden gem. And guests will get a kick out of walking through the museum's first floor to boot! Stephanie and her team know how to run things over there--and they make it easy. They even helped us hand out beer to guests as they exited into the streets. Would do it all over again at the Pharmacy Museum.
Couldn't have picked a better venue for our wedding! Liz & Stephanie are absolute angels, and were SO so helpful in the whole process. We booked the venue over a year out, so they were there from the very beginning and helped with the second line, laying out the reception, and just generally making sure our big day ran so smooth. We're so thankful for the staff at NOPM! You truly cannot go wrong with the staff, location, or venue!
I am so thankful I came across this amazing gem in the heart of the French Quarter. Liz & Stephanie were so accommodating throughout the whole process. Our guests really loved the quaint and interesting historic part of the museum and the courtyard was just beautiful lit up with candles and festoon lights. We couldn't have been happier and highly recommend NOPM for your ceremony and/or reception. We did both and were so happy we did!
We had a great ceremony in the Pharmacy Museum courtyard! It was perfect for about 80-100 people! The people were very helpful and super friendly! Everything turned out great!
I had a very small destination at the Pharmacy Museum and the venue was perfect! Stephanie and Liz are great to work with and helped coordinate our ceremony. The courtyard is beautiful and was a perfect space for our reception which included a band. I couldn't imagine having the wedding anywhere else. Best of all the rental fee is tax deductible.
The New Orleans Pharmacy Museum met all of our expectations. The courtyard is charming and the museum itself is a great back drop for some amazing pictures that surely won't look like your typical wedding. I really enjoyed working with the staff as well. Most of my correspondence was with Stephanie and I thought she was great! She responded to all of my questions and she was truly a pleasure to work with. Our wedding was beautiful and I am so happy we chose this venue.
Beautiful venue and very affordable! Flexible with allowing us bring in supplies early and pick up at a later time.
Vintage feel
Awesome for a vintage wedding.
I could not have asked for a better venue for my wedding this fall. The courtyard is pretty and the interior could not make for more amazing photos. I would recommend it in a second!
