This venue was absolutely beautiful in every way! The venue coordinators were extremely helpful and made it the most perfect day! I couldn’t have asked for anything better!
Our review is mixed. The chapel is gorgeous, the event tent is pretty with the overhead lights, and the surrounding area has great places for pictures. Frenchtown Catering (Steve) is fantastic. We chose their chicken parmesan and pork tenderloin and both were awesome! Big Red Event Company (Julie) for linens is very helpful; highly recommend using their backdrop behind the head table to cover up the exit sign. This is a venue where you need to be prepared to contract out everything yourself. Nothing is provided beyond use of the chapel (2.5-hour increments) and the event tent (empty - you contract out all tables, linens, china, etc). Their wedding coordinators Jessica and Hannah, while nice, are very difficult to reach and do not respond to all their emails. They answered a lot of questions for us on our initial tour and again on our walk through with our own wedding coordinator. However, after that, they basically just unlocked the doors for us. They were in charge of the music at the ceremony, but Hannah did not even come out of the office for the rehearsal. We had to run through the music right before the wedding. Had we not hired our own wedding coordinator (Chloe and Company), we would have been totally stressed out. They are also very strict about time. We had a 4:30 pm wedding which meant we got the chapel from 3 – 5:30. To get into the chapel any earlier to decorate or for photos, we had to pay extra. Since it rained on us, we are glad we paid for extra time as we had to do early photos in the chapel. There is also no good area for the wedding party to hang out during photos. We were able to rent the Town Hall to use as our hangout place. Also, there is no place on site for the wedding party to get ready which is a drawback. Our bride got ready at home and then had to travel in the rain to the chapel. The small bridal room in the chapel was hot and stuffy even though they had a fan in there. This room is extremely tiny and can only fit a few girls. The reception tent was very cool, but when we arrived the temp in the bathrooms was set to 85 so we had to turn it down. Recommend bringing decorations for the bathrooms, nicer soaps, etc. They have vanities with 3 sinks in each. Because there was a wedding at the venue the day before ours, we could not decorate the event tent until 11am the day of the wedding. This necessitated us hiring a wedding coordinator to help us since we would all be getting ready and dealing with photos. With it raining hard the morning of our wedding, water was standing 6 feet into the event tent. If the rain hadn’t stopped, we were really worried about guests walking from the chapel to the reception and then coming into the wet floors. We rented a golf cart from Gateway Golf Carts to take older guests, etc. from the chapel to the reception. It worked out great. We ended up with a lovely wedding and our reception was so much fun (also thanks to a great job from DJ Jay at Complete Weddings and Events). Everyone loved the food and thought it was beautiful. So, takeaway message is to be prepared for doing a lot of work on your own if you select this venue, hire your own wedding coordinator, and pay for extra time in the chapel since you cannot plan on the weather cooperating.

The venue was great! Able to fit my wedding in after a last minute COVID change. Beautiful inside and outside, great areas for photos, and spacious.
We got married in the chapel and had our reception in the tent. It was perfect! Kathleen was amazing to work with as well as Steve with Frenchtown Catering. They were more than patient with us and kept communication with me for months prior to the big day. No matter what time I messaged Kathleen, she answered quickly. I would highly recommend this venue to brides and grooms. They won't let you down and I will forever appreciate them!
The New Town Event Chapel and Tent was more than we could have imagined! We had to move our wedding here with less than two months to go and we couldn’t have gotten luckier. The chapel is absolutely beautiful and the tent was the perfect set up. Kathleen was so so helpful during the entire process. They require you to use Frenchtown catering for the food and they did not disappoint either! Ended up being the perfect day.
New Town Chapel was the perfect venue for our ceremony. Julie was great to work with and helped organize and keep the ceremony on track. The only downfall of this location is the lack of parking. There were numerous events happening and therefore some of our guests had trouble finding parking, and we delayed the ceremony at least 20 minutes to ensure most of our guests made it. Other than that, the venue is amazing and beautiful.
New Town is the absolute perfect place to have your wedding & reception - it is so beautiful and everything is right there! Shae was amazing to work with - she was SO helpful and made it so I didn't have to worry about a thing on my wedding day. I would HIGHLY recommend New Town to anyone planning their wedding day!
I high recommend the Venue of New Town at Saint Charles!! Not only is it a beautiful venue with tons of great places for photos but shae is amazing and there to help your big day go as smoothly as possible! Shae is super professional, and an awesome communicator! She was always so quick to respond to any questions that I had for her. I absolutely loved working with her!! I honestly cannot say enough good things about her or the venue!!!

We just had my daughters wedding at the chapel and reception in the event tent and it was perfect! Working with Shae and Julie was such a pleasure! They made sure every need was met and every question was answered! They also partner with Frenchtown Catering and that was delicious! It’s been over 2 weeks now and we are still getting compliments on the chapel, venue and food! If you are looking for a place to have your special day I would HIGHLY recommend sitting down with Shae and booking it! Another big bonus is there’s no need for a wedding coordinator as Shae and Julie have it covered! Your day will go smoothly and be beautiful!! I’d give them 10 stars if I could!!!! ❤️❤️

We rented the Chapel and Event Tent for our wedding this past weekend and we seriously could not be happier!! Shae and Julie made everything very easy for us. We signed our contract last September and they’d helped us coordinate from day 1. They are both excellent at communicating and returning calls and emails promptly.
Our wedding was at 4pm, so we had access to the chapel starting at 3pm on the day of the wedding. I was unable to help decorate the chapel, but I have to say that everything was set up beautifully! Shae was amazing, throughout the whole process! I had people designated to help with the set-up, but I don’t think she really even needed it! Since the wedding, I have received endless compliments on the venue; it was stunning. Shae guided us through the rehearsal the evening before and we felt very prepared the day-of!
For the Event Tent, we were able to begin decorating the day before. The tables were already set according to how I wanted them. Big Red Linen Company was outstanding! The linens and place settings were all set when we arrived for the personal touches. Shae and Julie were by my side throughout this, as well. They inquired about what I was hoping to accomplish (with my piles of decor haha) and they helped make that vision a reality! I honestly could not have asked for anything more. The day of the wedding, Shae helped with a couple of final touches in the Tent, so I had nothing to worry about that morning!
Overall, our guests had such a great time! They went on about how perfect everything was. The food from Frenchtown Catering was delicious, the tent was very comfortable, everything was very clean... it was literally perfect. I would recommend New Town Weddings to anyone looking to get married in the St. Louis area.

We rented the Chapel and Event Tent last weekend for our wedding and reception. The chapel was amazing and met all our wishes but the event tent was a completely different story and fell considerably short of our expectations and what we were assured wouldn't be any issues.
The tent was so hot that myself, my bride and most of our guest were sweating horribly and when I asked if we could get the A/C turned down I was informed that it was as low as it could go and we'd have to wait for the sun to go down before it cooled off. It appeared that it was only blowing cold air, or least blowing hard, out of the vents closest to the bar. I imagine with the A/C being turned off at night it would take a very long time for that size of a venue to cool down even if all vents were producing cold air. If this is "normal" for this venue then it really would have been nice to be informed of this at time of viewing the venue (fyi ... this will be a recurring theme) so we could have made an informed decision on weather to hold our reception here.
Next, was the infestation of ants that my bride spent part of her wedding reception trying to squish, kill, swat and brush away from the tables and snacks. Those little bugs are relentless. Apparently this issue was discovered prior to start of the reception and we were told that they were going to try to spray to get rid of them. Not sure if the exterminator ever made it but either way we had a lot of additional little mouths to feed!
Which brings me to my next issue ... THE CONCERT. We learned about the fact that there was to be a outdoor concert about half a block from the event tent from some friends about 1.5 weeks prior to our wedding. Once again, you would think this would be one those things you'd think you'd be informed of ahead of time but no it was never even mentioned. We were even offered to rent the lakeside venue, directly behind where the concert was, for our wedding as an alternative to the chapel. Sure glad we went with the chapel !!! When we contacted management about our concerns with there being a concert that same night as our wedding and reception we were assured that there wouldn't be any issues as they have concerts all the time during weddings and had never had an issue before and that the concert faced away from the event tent so there wouldn't be any noise from the band that would be able to be heard at the event tent. Well pretty much all of our concerns were in the end completely valid. The music was very audible outside the event tent in our courtyard and you could definitely hear it in the background inside the tent even with our piano players playing. Then there was the constant flow of concert goers passing through our reception to use our bathrooms. I would guess they were probably trying to escape the heat like our guest at our reception party and the bathroom were the only cool spot to be found. Which brings me to our wedding crashers ... 3 concert goers thought they could slip into our reception and score a few free drinks. We kindly asked them to leave and they did without incident.
If only we had been informed of the possibility of a concert during our viewing of the property we could have made a informed decision on weather we wanted this venue and its potential issues for our reception ... but I guess if the truth was all revealed then nobody would rent it !?!
Working with Julie and Shae was a breeze from the beginning! Both ladies are professional, flexible, and ready to take care of anything you need. Anything I thought of- they were one step ahead of me! We booked New Town Chapel and Event Tent for our ceremony and reception, and have been getting wonderful feedback from family and friends. Thank you ladies for making our big day special, down to the last details!

We had an absolutely AMAZING wedding day! Shae made everything so easy and I was completely carefree the day of!
I had my wedding reception at the New Town event tent on 09/30/17 and it was perfect. I would have never considered a tent for my wedding, but after looking at a few other venues, I checked it out and fell in love with it. Shae was amazing to work with. She answered all my questions and quickly which is great for a stressed out bride! The tent is fantastic! It's climate controlled and beautifully decorated already so minimal decorations are needed. We got a lot of compliments from our guests about how great everything was! I would definitely recommend New Town for anyone looking for a reception venue!
We are so happy with our decision to have both our ceremony and reception at New Town. Shae was so wonderful and easy to work with. She really exceeded our expectations. She was always quick to reply to our many emails and made herself available whenever needed. She was super helpful during the entire process. Her assistant on the day of was wonderful, as well. They really took charge of the entire day and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. They even bustled my dress for me after the ceremony! I would recommend the New Town venues to anyone.
Our experience at the New Town Tent was amazing! We had a last minute venue change to New Town and Shae was so helpful. We had less than 20 days to plan at the new venue and Shae and her team were incredible. This could have been a very stressful time and Shae made the transition effortless. She was always available and made communications a breeze. Shae helped us revise our original plans and provided coordination with all the vendors. Shae and her team helped in the days leading up to the reception with set up and vendor verification. The reception was beautiful! We had so many compliments. Thank you Shae for everyone you did to make this a wonderful experience.
I will be having my wedding in 2018 and couldn’t have picked a better venue, is is absolutely gorgeous and luckily I won’t have to travel for photos, everything is right there. Shae is so helpful, very responsible and accommodating. Steve with frenchtown catering is great as well. I can’t wait to see what else they have in store for my big day!
I cannot say enough about this venue and the people I worked with. From the first time I talked to Shae I just knew that my reception would be one less thing I would have to stress over. Anytime I had questions issues, or just needed advice on the reception I called Shae and she responded and solved immediately. I honestly have not one complaint and was so very happy with the tent. It was beautiful and there is really little you have to do as far as decorating to make it beautiful. I received so many compliments on the site a well as the food. Steve the caterer was just amazing to work with as well. You definitely get a great package deal here. Everything was absolutely fantastic, stress free and just completed my day! They do it right!
I can’t speak highly enough about my New Town Wedding! We used the chapel and the event tent and it couldn’t have been better. It was affordable and beautiful. Shea was so awesome to work with and even set up the decorations in the chapel for us and helped take it down! The caterer that they use is amazing! We got so many compliments on Frenchtown Catering and the amazing food that Steve cooked up. He was also super easy to work with. One huge benefit of choosing New Town is that there is no reason to go anywhere else to take photos! New Town has gorgeous scenery and provides for picturesque scenes!

We had our reception at the New Town Event tent this summer. Shae the wedding coordinator was super professional and helped to make our day perfect. We got so many compliments on our location. The outdoor spaces along with the canal lake view was perfect for our Fourth of July weekend wedding. You could see fireworks from surrounding neighborhoods which made it the perfect scenerey while on patio. We highly recommend this affordable location with friendly staff!!
We loved every single thing about our venue! My husband and I got married in June 2017 on a very hot day and the tent wasn't hot at all. Everyone complimented the location with plenty to do in the area, the lighting, etc. Working with Shae was absolutely amazing. Any time, day or night, she was always readily available for questions. Alongside Shae, we worked with Steve at Frenchtown Catering and Julie at Big Red Events. They all did wonderful! The food turned out spectacular! We had just over 260 guests in attendance and it wasn't too crammed what so ever. There was plenty of room to dance, sit, and walk around. Many of our guests asked for our vendor info. They truly made our vision come to life. Thank you!
We had a wonderful experience with Shae at New Town Chapel from start to finish for our wedding ceremony in December. She was easy to talk to, had lots of great ideas, and was able to help us predict and prepare for all our needs. She did a great job as our coordinator at the rehearsal and the day of the wedding to make sure everything went smoothly and the day was as stress-free as possible. She even went above and beyond to help us with the chapel pew bows so that my family members who were helping with set-up that day could focus on the reception venue. The acoustics for the chapel were great, and our live musicians (pianist, cellist, and guitar/vocalist) all sounded amazing. Our guests loved the venue and the photos here turned out amazing! We got plenty of photos inside the chapel (our wedding day reached a toasty 5-degrees Fahrenheit at its warmest) but we did brave the cold briefly for some beautiful ice-covered canal photos outside too. Everything went smoothly and we are so thankful we chose New Town Chapel for our ceremony venue!
I grew up in St. Charles County, but at the time of engagement, I was living in another state. Unfortunately, the churches I attended as a child would not consider me a member eligible to get married there, but I still longed for a church-like venue for my wedding ceremony.
Enter New Town Chapel: great location, gorgeous surroundings, and a beautiful chapel full of decorating possibilities. Plus, it was reasonable cost-wise. After talking with Shae and touring the space, my fiance and I knew this was the place.
Shae is AMAZING. She is extremely helpful and responds very quickly to emails. She provided any measurements we wanted, and even let us borrow a chair so we could practice tulle decorations! She is very organized and keeps everything running for both the rehearsal and ceremony. She even helped decorate and tear down! You'll be in wonderful hands with her!
We recently got married at the New Town Chapel and had our reception in the Chapel as well. From the jump Shae was so helpful. She responded to emails and in timely manner and kept the line of communication open throughout the entire planning process. I ran my vision by Shae before the wedding and planned on having my sisters set everything up when we arrived. Walked in a couple hours before my wedding time and to my amazement Shae and her team had everything done! She was running around all night making sure everything was on schedule and making sure the groom and I had our cups full and hearts happy. I can't thank Shae and her team enough for making our night absolutely perfect!!!
Our daughter's wedding was in New Town in July, and we couldn't have been happier! From the wedding in The Chapel to the reception in the Event Tent the day was perfect. Shae was wonderful to work with and was always available to answer any question or concern we had. As the mother-of-the-bride, it was so nice to know that all of the details of the day were being taken care of, and in such a caring manner. It was a perfect day, and we would highly recommend New Town for your special day!!
There are no words to describe Shae at New Town. She is more than amazing! She makes you feel like the most important bride and any concern or questions you might have she always answers them promptly and eases not only your mind but everyone's! She makes the day perfect! I would recommend anyone and everyone to her.

I cannot say enough nice things about our experience at New Town and most importantly, Shae. From the day we booked with New Town Chapel and Tent, we were about a year out from our big day. Even though Shae had tons of weddings and events during that time, she was ALWAYS available to us as if we were the only wedding on her schedule. She responded immediately to every question I had over those months and offered SO much helpful advice. She was extremely organized and made certain everyone and everything was in it's place! As a bride, I couldn't have asked for more! She was totally committed to making sure our day went off without a hitch and it did. We have such wonderful memories from our special day! Shae went above and beyond and we could never thank her enough!!!!!!!!!
Wow! I'm so glad we chose New Town to celebrate the best day of our lives. The planning was a lot harder for me because I had a concussion two weeks before our wedding. I have post concussion syndrome, making it hard to remember things, & even get my words out. I was in the hospital twice those two weeks. Shae went above and beyond to help make our day special. She helped set everything into place while i was in the hospital and was very patient with me. Even with the unexpected challenge, our special day couldn't have been anymore perfect! The chapel & tent are gorgeous & worth every penny!
We got married at New Town in May and I couldn't imagine something more perfect for us! We used the Chapel as well as the tent. If it wasn't for Shae I don't think it would have went so smoothly. She was wonderful from the first email I sent her asking about the venue to the minute she left our reception. She made sure everything went perfectly, she even helped bustle my wedding dress since my mom was so nervous. If I ever needed anything or had questions she was there helping me in no time! She helped my stress level go way down!
The Chapel was beautiful, the tent was perfect! All of our guests had a great time and because of the location our pictures are stunning!

The chapel is beautiful! Shae McCartney made the wedding ceremony a breeze. She was quick to respond to emails and seemed organized and detail-oriented. She was helpful during the rehearsal, as well. Our guests liked the venue, as well. I highly recommend New Town Chapel. Personally, I liked that it was neutral, as far as religion. Our families have different religions, and I wanted a place that did not favor one religion over the other. I was afraid that the inside of the chapel was too plain, but when all the guests arrived, it looked good. I love the pictures we took upstairs by the balcony. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because I thought it was a little expensive. For a 4:00 PM wedding on a Saturday, it was $1150. Had we not already booked a reception hall, we probably would have had our reception at New Town, as well.
We got married in October at New Town. We could not have had more of a wonderful experience with such helpful staff!! Our wedding was absolutely beautiful and everyone went above and beyond. Thank you so much Shae for everything!
We had our ceremony at New Town Chapel. Shae was very easy to work with, especially before the wedding. When I would email her with questions, she would respond in a timely manner. She was flexible to work with, especially when I was wanting to come in and look at the Chapel time after time.
The only downside we had was that she was not able to be at our rehearsal the night before our wedding. This was a challenge because I felt like we weren't always on the same page during the rehearsal and on the day of the wedding. I had met with her the morning of our rehearsal and I had gotten some of my questions answered, but then it would have been nice to have her at the rehearsal because while I was trying to focus on the rehearsal I had people constantly asking me how the small things would go. It just would have been nice to have her there explaining it rather than me constantly saying she would be there at the wedding and she would be the person telling them when to start walking down the aisle, when to play music, etc. I just felt that since she was the wedding planner for that location she needed to be at the rehearsal or have someone there to help answer questions/facilitate.
I absolutely loved having my wedding ceremony at the new town chapel! Shae is the wedding coordinator there and did an amazing job getting us through everything! I would definitely recommend this chapel!
Our wedding at new town was perfect. Shae was so easy to work with. I called her several times to go there to measure something and she would make it happen with no problems. She is very organized and a great planner. The tent was absolutely beautiful. We paid a little extra to be able to decorate Friday and to take everything down Sunday which made our wedding day less stressful. The food from Frenchtown catering was amazing. People are still talking about the food! I would recommend new town weddings to anyone for their special day!

I was set on having a unique venue, I didn't want the typical banquet hall and New Town fits the bill. My guests were so impressed with the place. We were married in the chapel and had our reception in the tent. Richard is easy to get a hold of and considering how unique the venue is, it's a great value. My only issues were that there are some improvements that should probably be made before they add anything new. There are massive cobwebs in the chapel ceiling (granted its super high and most wouldn't notice), tent is getting old and could use some cleaning/repairs. Despite having major snow and cold the night before, the tent was a lot warmer than I expected. Some guests that were farthest from the vents were cold and those directly near them were blown away but in more mild weather conditions it would be perfect. It's such a beautiful venue and doesn't require much in the way of decorations to still be beautiful and classy. They have an exclusive caterer but he's awesome. The parking kind of stinks depending on how many guests you're having (we had around 165 and especially with snow everywhere there were parking issues). My biggest complaint is the fact that the receptions must end at 11pm. While I do understand why because of the houses nearby, it was over way too soon and I was not ready to stop partying...but finding a more flexible venue is difficult. Overall, I was pleased.
I loved loved having my wedding at new town but Richard who sets everything up is the most anti social person I met. He doesn't answer the phone ever and the only way to get a hold of him is to email him. Completely crazy. I could do a better job. But otherwise...The wedding was absolutely beautiful and loved it but management sucks.
Our wedding was in the Event Tent in New Town St. Charles and it was so beautiful! They were very accomidating and allowed us to go in the day before to decorate all day. We were able to get in and drape the tent with no problems.
The fountains outside the tent made for a perfect backdrop to our wedding reception!
The chapel and event tent were absolutely perfect! The area is very scenic and perfect for pictures. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. We couldn't ask for a better venue.
This venue requires that you use their caterer FrenchTown Catering. At first this was a con to me but working with FrenchTown Catering is what made my reception stress free. The caterer does so many wedding at NewTown he was my go to for questions about set up, linens, suggestions on dinnerware. Steve from FrenchTown Catering was great!
Everything was just perfect! Richard was very helpful in the planning and getting everything organized. All of the guests loved the chapel as did I. Very glad we found New Town, it was perfect!
We used the New Town Event Tent for our Oct. 19, 2013 wedding and have nothing to complain about them! We worked with Richard, the manager, to secure our reservation but from there, Steve with Frenchtown Catering took over to answer any and all questions. He went above and beyond - highly recommended! Perhaps the only downfall is having to work with Big Red Linen, the preferred rental company. We were told all of our linens would be steamed prior to the reception but everything was incredibly wrinkly. Big Red Linen also wasn't the most attentive or clear when answering questions that we had. Everything else was wonderful, though!
I could not have asked or a more perfect wedding venue. Gorgeous with any decor or color scheme.

I was so impressed with the venue for our wedding. My husband and I really wanted a unique venue without spending a fortune, and New Town St. Charles was perfect! We got married in the New Town Chapel and had our reception at the Town Hall. The chapel is gorgeous and has wonderful natural colors and lighting without any particular religious affiliation (perfect for us!). The Town Hall was also great, although its size limited our guest list to 110. Also, the whole community is set perfectly for pictures so we were able to do everything (ceremony, pics/cocktail hour, and reception) all in the same area. It was really great not having to make all of our guests travel to get to each part of the event. So glad we went with New Town!
We got married outside in front of the fountains in New Town, St. Charles. We then headed over to the beautiful event tent for the reception. The event planner, Richard was so accommodating and helpful. Everything was perfect! There are so many great places to take pictures there as well. The area is so pretty, we did not need to use many decorations at all!
We had an outdoor wedding and our reception was in their event tent steps away. It was beautiful. I had so many compliments on the way everything turned out. There was not much decorating that needed to be done because it is just a lovely place. Richard, the event coordinator there, is amazing. He was helpful and responsive. He made sure I did not stress over a thing the night of the rehearsal dinner or the day of the wedding. If I could do it all over again -- I wouldn't change a thing!
New Town St. Charles is a beautiful new community with an old-fashioned, small town feel and a great place to have a wedding! We had our ceremony in the New Town chapel and our reception in the Town Hall. The chapel is spacious and brings in a lot of natural light with large, open windows. Its decor is simplistic and allows each bride & groom to adapt to their own style to the venue to make their own. I loved the chapel because it didn't have the feeling of a huge cathedral but also didn't make me feel like I was enclosed in a tiny wedding chapel. It's the perfect size!
The Town Hall is stunning on the outside and is just big enough on the inside for a reception of about 100 people. Wouldn't recommend if you want a dance floor seeing as floor space is quite limited.
One requirement of choosing New Town as a reception venue is that you must use their partnering caterer, French Town Catering. This, however, is not a downfall but a great advantage seeing as their prices are extremely reasonable compared to any other caterer I've encountered in St. Louis. Their food is also delicious! All of my guests raved about how fantastic the food was.
Altogether New Town completely fit the old-school, classy feel my husband & I wanted for our wedding. The event coordinator there was very friendly and helpful. They even provide discounts for the venue during non-peak months. I'd definitely recommend New Town to anyone!
I got married in the Chapel at New Town in St. Charles. It was gorgeous. There are plenty of places to take great pictures around New Town as well. It's kind of hard to get a hold of Richard, the event planner for New town, but other than that, it was great! They are really flexible with how you decorate the space too!
Not only is New Town St Charles the picture perfect location for a wedding but Richard, the event coordinator, was fantastic to work with. I did not hire a wedding planner but Richard made sure everything at rehearsal and the day of went off without any issue. We had approx 100 guests for our wedding (in the Chapel) and reception (Town Hall) and it made the entire event seem very private and personal, we loved it! I highly recommend New Town!
