I went to a couple other bridal salons before your place but didn’t have any luck. When I walked into NY Bride, every single dress I previously tried on was instantly out of my head and I just knew I was going to find my dress. I tried on about...
a dozen dresses and I didn’t not love a single one. They all were so beautiful and elegant. I just knew they weren’t “the dress”. Finally, with the help of some wonderful staff members (I’m sorry, I don’t remember any names) I had my “moment” and found the PERFECT dress for me! As I was still getting laced up and into the dress in the fitting room, I started shaking. When I walked out in front of my mother’s and looked in the mirror, INSTANT tears. My dress was Stella York, Style 6379. The color in the store was Ivory Lace over Moscato Satin. As much as I loved the colors, I told myself all along that I wanted “white”. So I ordered it in Ivory Lace over Ivory Satin without seeing any pictures of that color anywhere (we searched all over the internet) so I was a little nervous. When it came in, it was somehow a thousand times more beautiful! Every fitting I fell in love all over again. Elaine in alterations did a fantastic job and somehow made my dress even more beautiful. On my wedding day, I felt like the most beautiful bride there ever was. I wish I could find a reason to wear my dress every weekend! Each staff member was so professional and personable. They know dresses, style, and budget.
Everyone here is SO kind. I felt like a VIP during my appointment. I loved that it was so quiet and personalized. I felt listened to and, even though I went with the very first dress, their suggestions were right in line with what I was liking.

During the time that I was dress shopping, COVID was very prevalent and there were limits to the number of people who could be in the store, but the staff allowed me to set up a laptop in the corner to host Zoom call with friends and family who couldn’t come in-person and it worked so perfectly!
Not only were they accommodating, but they calmed my nerves and helped me narrow my search after the first few dresses which helped in my decision making process. I was also surprised by how affordable their dresses were overall; I was worried that there wouldn’t be a lot to choose from given my price range, but they had a wide variety right within my range, which ultimately made picking my dream dress even easier! While they don’t do alterations at the shop, they provided a list of seamstresses they recommended which was very helpful. Overall, they were patient, kind, knowledgeable, friendly, and helped me feel confident and beautiful.

l 4 bridesmaids placed their orders and were under the impression that the dresses would be delivered in August. Based on one conversation with the mother of the bride, where we explained that my sister's future mother in law was recently diagnosed with cancer and there was a possibility of changing the wedding date. The order was never placed. To make a long story short, we did not cancel the order, we paid for our dresses and were never reimbursed, and the order was never placed. The bride was never contacted to confirm nor were the bridesmaids contacted to issue a refund. We only found out about the situation when I called to see if the dresses would be in earlier than originally expected. The store has done nothing to remedy the situation and they have repeatedly blamed the tragic family situation for the store's mistake. DO NOT spend your money at this store!!!!

I was trying dresses on towards the back of the store and I was the only one around which took away any distractions from other brides. ient, and friendly. When you walk in, you take off your shoes and coat and put them in a large coat room. They give you a dressing room and have you fill out a basic form. Then you can look through the dresses and can bring about 4 to 6 dresses at at time into your dressing room. They let one or two of of your entourage go into the room with you to help you in and out of the dresses. Then when you come out of the dressing room, the sales girls will clip the dress into place to make it look great. You can take pictures/video and take notes and even bring a bottle of (Clear!) champagne!
(This store is three hours - one way! - from my home! I originally went because they had one dress I wanted to try on that had been discontinued. I didn't end up getting that dress though. And also my one bridesmaid wanted to go dress shopping with me, but she lives 6 hours away from me, so this store was a great middle point to meet up). Anyway, I did find a dress here. (This will be difficult later having to always drive 6 hours round trip for alterations and fittings, but it will be worth it!). So overall, great store and great experience.

We ordered bridesmaid dresses here & the sizes they recommended (since they only had the dress in store in a 2) all came too small to the point that we all had to literally starve ourselves the month before the wedding. One girl literally lost 17 lbs and the dress still didn't fit. The sizes they recommended were therefore not accurate. Would not go back & would not recommend to anyone else. When we went back later on to pick up the dresses we wanted to speak to the manager about the experience we had but was told "she's not here". After waiting two hours for her to come back we recognized her as someone whom was in the store when we originally asked for her. So we were also lied to by workers here. I would not recommend this place to anyone under any circumstances
