I found my dream dress for a great price! That being said, my customer service could not have been worse.
My bridal consultant was absolutely terrible. She did not help me get in or out of a single dress, thank god I brought my maid of honor ...to help me. My bridal consultant would disappear for long periods of time, so my maid of honor also had to start clipping me into each dress. My bridal consultant kept bringing terrible dresses, not listening to what I wanted, and then when I told her I didn’t like the dresses she brought she would respond with “but WHY?” and would defensively insist I tried them on anyways, even though I was sure I didn’t like them. When I asked her to fan the train behind my dresses so that I could see the back, she couldn’t figure out what I was asking for- my maid of honor eventually just took over that part too.
If you are looking for a “say yes to the dress” experience, where your bridal consultant helps pick out dresses, helps you get in and out of them, then brings you out to the pedestal to show your friends and family- this is NOT the salon for you.
We wanted to go out to lunch after finding my dress, and I didn’t want to leave the dress in the car in downtown Columbia. I asked if I could leave the dress on hold, and come back to purchase it later in the evening (my dress was an off the rack, “as-is” purchase). The associate said “yes, we close today at 7”
I came back at 5:30, turns out they closed at 5. I came back AGAIN the next morning, and explained what had happened. They had already put my dress back on the rack, and not a single person apologized for the misinformation.
