wedding was a week after Hurricane Helene, while the store was without power the few days after the Hurricane, they called me and let me know they were still in store and that I was still able to pick up my dress. I knew I didn't have to worry about my dress.

was sold on my dream dress. I cannot remember the young lady name that assisted me but she was so sweet and welcoming and made us feel so comfortable. I do remember Candace because she grabbed every dress I pulled off the rack and assisted us by taking them to the room. bby was very helpful when I told her what I think may look good. She helped my mom and I pick out dresses and tried them on. Abby was very patient and kind. She also gave encouraging feedback. I could have stayed there forever. The staff was kind and patient as well. When we paid for the dress, the manager was very helpful with the purchase. I would recommend New York Bride & Groom to everyone. I was really dreading going to the other place. Thank you for an awesome experience! By the way, love the banging of the gong.

f my dress. I came in multiple times to retry it on because I was nervous about it fitting and wanted to show out of town family and they were always patient with me. They also helped pull styles in anything I could ask for and gave great advice on my veil. They know their stuff! 10000/10 recommend!

and the fitting rooms are a lovely and intimate setting. The staff is extremely friendly, professional, and helpful. They made me feel so special and excited about the process, and they were patient with my picky self as I tried on probably twenty dresses or more, and then tried some of them on again. They have a huge selection of dresses in many styles and sizes, plus they have a large off the rack clearance wall. I finally found the perfect dress for me, and it was ON SALE. It was very affordable compared to the rest of the dresses I was trying on (about $800 compared to $1600). You get to ring this big gong when you say YES and take pictures in front of the sign and everything. They also gave me a little gift bag with a lovely candle, so all in all it was very fun and a great experience! My only issue here was when I came back to get pinned for the alterations. They did the pinning, and that was all fine, but when we went to pay for them, the amount that they were asking for was wild. For context, these were pretty basic alterations, as the dress was a little big on me, so it needed to be taken in some, have the straps adjusted, and have the bustle done. I was expecting $300, maybe $350 maximum, but the bill turned out to be about twice that (~$640), which was almost as expensive as the dress itself. We asked if there was maybe a mistake because that seemed just way too much, and they looked over it and came back saying they could bring it down to about $600 or so. So we ended up taking it elsewhere for alterations and got it done for $300 like we had originally estimated. So, while I do recommend going here to find your dress, if budget is a concern then I would definitely recommend looking around and finding somewhere else to get your alterations done.

The first time I visited, I was there for several hours. I tried on so many dresses and was never pressured to purchase one. I didn't buy a dress the first time I went. However, after visiting several other salons, I wanted to go back and try on some more dresses from here. The salon kept my favorites on file, was able to pull those and even let me try on even more! After I found my dress, I could have had it shipped to the Raleigh location which was much closer to me, but because of the staff at the Columbia store, I chose to drive 2.5 hours instead of 1 hour just because of the staff! Thank you everyone who was involved in helping me make my dress perfect! Alterations also 5 stars! She worked hard and efficiently and I felt great all night in my dress dancing! 0. There was a rack and corner of dresses on sale that ranged from $500-900, I'm sure it varies. I was suspicious of the "no appointment needed", but they have plenty of consultants to help and give you the attention you need to find your dress. Rachel gave me great feedback on all the dresses I tried. All the ladies there are very welcoming and friendly. The store is kept clean and beautiful. The dressing suites are large. This is where I found and bought my dress.

JoAnne and Kim helped me get pinned up and helped me narrow down my search by asking what I liked about each dress or what I would change about it. JoAnn and Kim both found me additional dresses to match my style to try. We narrowed it down and were pretty set but not 100% on one, then they had me go select a few more. The entire staff was very nice and complimentary. When I found my dress I actually cried, I feel so amazing beautiful in it and I can picture the whole wedding day in it. I’ve never felt that way about a dress. Everyone knew it was the one. I still compared with trying on the other another time and back to the one. The staff was so patient and sweet. They let us get fun pictures and made a celebration out of me ringing the gong bc I said yes to the dress! The prices are reasonable. The shipping times (all are custom ordered after you’re measured) are as expected. The selection was fantastic. The service and vibe of the whole place was phenomenal! I absolutely recommend this place to any bride ❤️❤️❤️
