Katie at NextAge Events was an absolute lifesaver the day of the wedding and in preparation for the wedding as well. She is personable, responsive, and has a calming presence while executing tasks and plans efficiently and timely. It was so helpful to have Katie run everything the day of our wedding so we didn't have to worry about anything. She helped with our wedding and reception at two different locations. She also collaborated very well with the reception venue coordinator and helped everything go as planned. It was so nice to have a trustworthy, fun coordinator to rely on for the big day! We highly recommend using NextAge Events for any of your event coordinating needs!
We enjoyed working with Katie, she was enthusiastic and definitely helped reduce our stress load. Katie actually got married at our venue (DelFosse Vineyards and Winery), so she had extensive first-hand experience with most things there, a good amount of insider information, and great rapport with the owners. She was amazingly friendly all the times we met in advance, and made sure to cover all the essentials.
We had an issue with our rentals on the day of the wedding, where they hadn’t recorded the colors we chose so they had delivered all white, and Katie checked in to verify what colors we’d wanted and got them to redeliver in time for the remainder of the set-up. Definitely glad we didn’t have to deal with that, day of!
Katie did take the initiative in a couple minor instances where we wish she’d checked in with us first. There’s probably a delicate balance between being proactive on behalf of the bride and groom so that they don’t need to be bothered with every minute detail while still trying to make sure the important decisions aren’t made without input. We’re sure every couple is different in what’s important to them, and many couples would probably be delighted to not have to worry about anything. We do know that there were also times where getting our input would have been impractical or disruptive, and we were thankful that Katie was there to make sure everything was on track while we were busy doing wedding stuff. Overall, we were extremely pleased with her (and her team’s) services.
NextAge events was awesome! Our wedding had to be postponed at the last minute and Beth was able to get with all of our vendors and coordinate a new date. This was done so quickly and no stress to us. Beth was so kind and fun to work with. Our wedding turned out so beautiful! We would recommend NextAge Events to any Bride and Groom.
I could not say better things about Katie and her team at NextAge Events. Katie was very easy to communicate with and very attentive to our special needs to ensure we had the best day. We didn’t have to worry about a thing when the day was in her hands! Everything turned out amazing and we couldn’t have asked for more. Beth was amazing! Planning a wedding in general is not easy, but planning a wedding during Covid was insane. Beth answered my many, many questions, was upbeat, and when problems arose she was there to help us find a solution! I am so thankful to have been able to work with her and next age events!
Katie & Beth were a dream on our wedding day! As a wedding planner myself, I wanted so many details and Katie & Beth were able to finish setting those details prior to our arrival! I knew they had everything under control at the venue so I could relax and enjoy my morning getting ready at the hotel. After our arrival everything went super smooth! She helped us stay on time, even with our jam packed timeline and got along with all vendors & guests! Everything looked amazing and went smooth & I can't thank Katie enough for helping me stay sane on our wedding day!
My experience with NextAge events was nothing short of amazing. My coordinator Katie went above and beyond, we really could not even thank her enough. We had to postpone our wedding from May to August and Katie was always there for support, not to mention how organized she was through the entire process!She was always quick to respond to any questions, which was very appreciated. The day of our wedding could not have gone any smoother, the timeline Katie created flowed so perfectly and they were extremely professional and helpful - not only to the bridal party but our friends and family as well. Katie and her team were absolutely wonderful to work with. They were kind, compassionate, timely, communicative and hard working. The only reason I know there were problems on our wedding day is because I asked Katie. If I hadn't asked, I never would have known. She did a wonderful job of keeping me out of the loop to keep me calm. After all, this was a COVID wedding so my stress was already high enough. They were definitely worth every penny! If you are contemplating hiring a coordinator, stop contemplating and hire Katie! You will not be disappointed.
I had my wedding at the Virginia Cliff inn and was lucky enough to work with Katie at nextage events through the whole process. She was right there to answer any questions I had no matter the time or how many questions😉. The day of the wedding she had everything under control and assured me of everything we talked about. Beth coordinated our wedding ceremony and was absolutely phenomenal! The rehearsal ran so smoothly with her help, and she even ran out to get us candles for the ceremony at the last minute when we realized the church didn’t have any. Beth was so kind and professional. She was a joy to work with and we would highly recommend her!!
I was referred to NextAge Events by a close friend. Beth was my main coordinator and she was absolutely wonderful. We talked about my event several months beforehand and as the event came closer she pretty much took over nailing down the details with the vendors. About a month before the big day, Beth and I did a walkthrough at the venue and she had drafted the timeline for the day. She thought of every single detail – things that I had not even considered. Beth walked us through the rehearsal the day before and made me confident that everything was ready. The day was truly stress free because I knew Beth and Katie were there. They helped with set up and take down and everything in between. Everything looked extremely beautiful and they made my vision come true. I cannot thank them enough and would recommend them to everybody.

My husband and I got married on 4/13/2019 and are so thankful we found Katie, she truly was a godsend!!! She got back to me quickly when I first reached out to her and was available for all of my questions and panicked moments leading up to the wedding! We met a few months beforehand to discuss details for the rehearsal and wedding day, Katie gave me great ideas and tips and even a template for helping me plan out the ceremony (which I was really stressing about). You just don’t realize how many little logistical things are involved in making a wedding happen, until someone with experience brings it up. On the day of, Katie and her assistant got there several hours ahead of time and set everything up - they did such an amazing job!! Everyone talked about how well our wedding day flowed and how the space was so beautifully decorated. Thanks to Katie, I never had to worry once about timing or keeping things on schedule - she knows exactly what’s she’s doing and executes it perfectly. She’s sweet and professional, I’d recommend her a hundred times over and am so grateful we found her!!!

Katie is AMAZING! From the first meeting with her, to ceremony rehearsal, to the culmination of our wedding - Katie and her staff was absolutely amazing! I forgot some linens myself (whoops!) but Katie was there to save the day and ensure everything was perfect and just as my now husband and I envisioned. Katie and her assistant Beth were absolutely amazing! They made our wedding day go smoothly and handled every emergency (and everything else) that happened along the way. Katie was very helpful throughout the planning process, and would quickly answer all my emails and send many recommendations when we needed it. She did an awesome job following through with our vision for the wedding and was always quick to jump in and help. She is very resourceful and a problem solver, and made sure that our wedding day was as stress-free as possible. I don’t know what we would have done without her and we could not have asked for a better day-of-coordinator!
Katie was a breath of fresh air during this entire process. She goes far above and beyond day-of and month-of planning – she was always a quick email or text message away to answer questions, no matter how small. She took care of our rehearsal the night before and the wedding day could not have gone smoother. She and Beth kept everything on track and running like a well-oiled machine. We were amazingly pleased with her services!
Katie is amazing! I pulled her in a month before my wedding and she immediately jumped in to assist. She was always willing to answer every single one of my little questions and made sure my day went flawlessly. I felt little anxiety leading up to the big day because I knew Katie had everything taken care of and could handle anything that might come her way. I would recommend Katie a million times over!
Katie was a joy to work with! I was the photographer for an event she coordinated in August and she was so responsive and pleasant in emails before the event as well as at the wedding. I know what a difference she made for the couple getting married. She definitely went above and beyond to coordinate vendors as well as manage an outdoor wedding on a very blustery day with intense wind and threat of crazy rain. She was calm and collected the whole time, always with a smile on her face. I know that my job was made easier with her presence and would recommend her to any couple looking for an awesome coordinator. I hope to see her at many weddings again in the future!
