Nicholas Melonas - Cellist

While I have not yet had the opportunity of hearing him perform for a wedding, I feel confident in my ability to recommend Nicholas Melonas. I have known Nick for multiple years, and I have had the privilege of being one of his cello students as well as listening to and playing with him in a church worship setting. Since studying cello at the collegiate level and working with many fine musicians, I can safely say that Nick’s tone, technical ability, and musicianship are very high quality. I have heard Nick perform pieces of many different genres, including classical, contemporary, and improvisational. In response to these vastly differing works, Nick’s stylistic approach has always been very conscientious and musical. Nick is a pleasure to work with and approaches cello playing like he does everything else, with an infectious, joyful energy. I look forward to working with and hearing Nick whenever I get the chance and, therefore, cannot recommend him enough!
