We had our son’s Rehersal dinner at Nicholson’s. It was a wonderful experience! The team was very attentive and patient as I made several updates to the menu. On the day of the event the staff was very attentive to the guests and ensured we had everything we needed. Of course the food was wonderful also!

Our entire group of family and friends had a wonderful time at Nicholson's for a rehearsal dinner. The food was delicious! Shannen, Cara, and Natalie were extremely helpful with all the details, making it a seamless process, and were so pleasant to work with. Their communication provided reassurance that the night would go as planned. The service that night was great as well. It will be a night we will always remember.

For our son's wedding we had the rehearsal dinner here and it was tremendous. Working with Cara was smooth and easy, even though we (the parents) do not live in Kentucky doing everything digitally was great! Responsiveness of all the staff; Service from our waiters (we had 2); food was delicious; nothing but a great experience. We heard similar comments from the guests. Would definitely try to book here again.

We held our wedding rehearsal dinner at Nicholson’s in the garden/patio room. The patio space is so cute, and the food was delicious! We worked with Cara and she was so helpful with planning and communicating ahead of the event. We also toured the upstairs/balcony space which looked amazing for a larger group!

The Backstage Event Center at Nicholson’s was the perfect venue for our son’s rehearsal dinner. The food was fantastic and plentiful ( we did family style). The venue is spacious and our guests loved the outside balcony. The staff was so attentive to our guests and to our needs. I wish I could give them more than five stars!

We had such an amazing experience with this space. Katie and Cara helped us book last minute when a venue right down the street canceled our reservation unexpectedly. They were able to set up the space and help us host a wonderful holiday party for our employees. The servers for the event, Anna and Ethan, were incredibly attentive and kind. I will be using this venue for future events!

Nicholson's was the perfect venue for our son's rehearsal dinner. The Hearth Room was perfect for our group. The food and service were excellent. Cara was great to work with.

We hosted our son's wedding rehearsal dinner at Nicholson's and we are so happy we did. Katie S was a the best. Her professionalism and attention to detail was awesome! The food and service by Ethan that evening were delicious. We had a small guest list and the hearth room was perfect. It was warm and cozy and Ethan lit the fire. We would highly recommend Nicholson's and Katie to everyone!! FOOD was YUM!! Service was Exceptional! Thank you Katie and staff!!

I spent the evening at Nicholson's in a lovely private room with a fireplace for a professional event. The event coordinator, Katie, was professional, organized, and such a pleasure from start to finish. The food was outstanding. Our group shared appetizers for the table and enjoyed a wide variety of entrees'. I especially enjoyed the Haddock, which was perfectly prepared. Everyone raved. The room was the ideal size for our group of about 18 - and really gave us an opportunity to interact which we enjoyed a wonderful dinner. The room we used would be perfect for a rehearsal dinner also. I highly recommend Nicholson's and will be back!

The Backstage Event Center made our wedding reception process at Nicholson’s Tavern and Pub smooth from start to finish. Katie was very responsive and accommodating to all of our questions and needs. The day of our wedding Katie helped decorate and make sure the venue was more beautiful than imagined. The food was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend the house-made meatballs and potato bites. The servers did an excellent job at making sure the guests were waited on. Brandon did an outstanding job at making sure both grooms had a drink in their hands at all times. We would absolutely have another event here in the future.

We had our rehearsal dinner at Nicholson’s. The hearth room was the perfect size for our group of about 25 people, and with the beautiful fireplace if was easy to make it look nice without needing to add lots of decorations! Their coordinator Katie was very responsive and easy to work with, and the food was delicious. Would highly recommend the hearth room for a smaller gathering like a shower or rehearsal dinner!

We held our rehearsal dinner at Nicholson's and had a fantastic experience! They were kind and communicative from the get go, and service the night of was stellar. The food was EXCELLENT from the appetizers to the salad to the entree to dessert. The atmosphere was perfect and enjoyed by all.

Everything was wonderful. The Garden Room is SO inviting and comfortable! Great service and delicious food. Detail oriented and VERY accommodating - our event was smooth and stressless. I would recommend this space to anyone looking for a great experience and I would not hesitate to use them again.

We had our rehearsal dinner at Nicholson's after Backstage Event Center above Nicholson's was already booked for our wedding weekend. I'm extremely happy with our decision, especially after working with Cara S. for the past year! She responded quickly to all of our questions and requests and made sure the whole day went according to plan! The staff was extremely friendly and our wedding parties had great things to say about them - even the next morning! We LOVED spending time on the back patio, which was much larger than I thought it would be and was amazing for photos. You can't go wrong with Nicholson's (and as a vegetarian, I liked their vegetarian option better than our actual wedding's!) We were able to have a few speeches in the room without a microphone, which was nice and everyone was able to hear. We had a very last minute (as in, the day of the rehearsal dinner) addition of someone with a dairy allergy and they were able to accommodate! Note that the max capacity of the back room is 40 for a seated dinner! Best of luck with your wedding planning!

This past Friday night we held our son's rehearsal dinner in the garden room at Nicholson's. It was an absolute beautiful venue and experience! Great service and food! Would highly recommend them for a fabulous, seamless evening! Thank you!

We could not have been more pleased with having our rehearsal dinner at Nicholson’s. Not only was the room and set up perfect, but the food as well as the entire staff outstanding. Planning an event like this can be a bit overwhelming as you want everything to be perfect. And I will say the Sales and Events Manager (Cara Shipp) put our minds totally at ease. The follow up we got before as well as the night of our dinner was awesome, making sure everything was to our expectation. They made it seamless for us so we could enjoy the evening without having to worry about the details. Thank you Cara! And thank you to Katie and the entire staff as well, for making the evening perfect! We received many compliments from all the guests. We can’t say enough good things about the entire event. You will not be disappointed should you choose Nicholson’s! Recommend them 100%.

We had a lovely rehearsal dinner at Nicholson's Garden room. Katie was very easy to work with and took care of everything for the evening. We were able to create a delicious menu and I 100% recommend the brussel sprouts. The wait staff was kind and accommodating. We enjoyed our dinner inside and had a heater put in the garden area where we enjoyed drinks afterwards.

Katie and her team were ideal to work with. We had the bridesmaid luncheon at Nicholsons. Absolutely no worries that it would be a wonderful event....and it was! Highly recommend!

Nicolson's did a wonderful job with our son's Rehearsal Dinner. The tables were set well, they provided great tripods for our picture posters and the food was excellent. The service was great too; quick, unobtrusive and quiet. All of this was done in an atmosphere of "no muss, no fuss". Pre-dinner planning was easy and Cara was very accommodating. All in all, it enabled a wonderful Rehearsal Dinner experience for everyone in the party.

Cara from Backstage Event Center helped us make our immediate family ceremony so intimate and memorable. She was organized and met with us to go through a checklist to make sure we had all vendor details and food/drink details all covered. The food was so good and we ended up having the best day even though it was different than our initial vision Pre-Covid. They had all of the necessary equipment such as table cloths and microphone/speakers etc. and would recommend them!!

We had an amazing Rehearsal Dinner at the Backstage Event Center! The space is charming and elegant - the outside patio is lovely in the summer! Katie Swanko was our planner at the center and she was extremely helpful. This was our first time planning a wedding and she provided valuable input into drink packages, amounts of appetizers needed and food combinations. Everything went smoothly and it was exactly what the bride and groom envisioned!

I could not have asked for anything more from the venue for my rehearsal dinner. The food was outstanding, along with the service. I want to have another event just to have an excuse to work with this location again. They are amazing!
