She has such a keen eye for detail and a super extensive knowledge of wedding planning, so her guidance, insights, and organization in the final weeks were incredibly helpful. Throughout our time working with Lisa, we felt that we were in such capable hands. Wedding planning can be (okay, IS) stressful, and having a pro on our team really helped calm us down and stay focused on enjoying the experience. We were in constant communication with Lisa and she would send reminders for anything we had to do. When it got closer to our wedding, Lisa was such a great help in helping our design become a reality. She contacted a bunch of different vendors and found the impossible - golden chairs to match our golden utensils. We were so impressed. Having a backyard wedding, you have to plan every detail and without her, our wedding wouldn't have been as gorgeous and as successful as it was. The day of the wedding, she handled all of my vendors and showed them where to go so none of the bridal party of family of the bride had to worry about it. Another one of her team members, Rachel, hung out with the boys and made sure they were at the venue on time. We got to be with Caity who was such a friendly and calming person to have on such an emotional day. It was pure perfection. I cannot recommend Nightingale Events enough. The nightingals took care of it all- they set everything up, moved car-loads of flowers and signs between venues, bustled my train, fixed my veil constantly, removed a stain from my dress, helped band-aid my blistered ankle, and somehow camouflaged effortlessly into the background while doing this all. It is clear that the nightingals are devoted to creating and facilitating extraordinary events. On top of that, while with them, I felt like I was surrounded by friends and family. They put me at ease and helped me feel relaxed and ready on my wedding day. I truly couldn’t have asked for anything better!!

to 2021. Lisa was great in our original micro-planning, and even more amazing and accommodating when we changed our plans completely! She allowed us to use our credit from our deposit and hire her as our officiant since full wedding planning was outside of our budget. As an officiant Lisa was INCREDIBLE and Rachel who wrote our ceremony was AMAZING. Between the questionnaires, meetings, and the writing of our ceremony, they created something so beautiful and unforgettable. I haven't been to a lot of weddings, where people can't stop talking about the ceremony, but ours was truly exceptional and everyone was in love. There was not a dry eye in the room! If you want any part of your day to be easy and beautiful and special beyond compare, and you want your wedding guests to feel all the love in the world, Nightingale is the way to go!

Lisa was always able to prepare us, come up with quick solutions and connect us with some pretty amazing vendors. About half way through our planning process the Covid-19 pandemic started to hit here in the north east. No one really knew what we were in for, or how long it would last. Lisa was on the front line speaking with everyone she could (including the governor himself!) to make sure she always had the most up to date information. As our wedding got closer, it became clear that our original venue would not be able to accommodate our party due to current restrictions. With just 1 month away, Lisa was able to find us a new (and even better) venue for the SAME date as our original wedding, and work with old and new vendors to accommodate. In more ways than I can count, our wedding simply wouldn’t have been able to happen without Lisa and her team. Despite all the obstacles against us during a time of uncertainty we had the most beautiful and dreamy wedding. Nightingale will always be remembered as a big part of our special day. If there is any question weather hiring a wedding planner is worth it, I can absolutely assure you the Nightingale team is worth it all.. and then some more!!

She helped us with venue searching and once we picked a venue, provided us a hand picked list of vendors for us to contact and hire (that was the package we chose, but there are other packages where she will help you through everything). Her list of preferred vendors is FANTASTIC and we were so happy with all the vendors she recommended. She and her team were very helpful in the weeks leading up to our wedding, helping coordinate with the venue and vendors to create a timeline for the day and to make sure every little detail was perfect. There was even someone there at all times prior to the ceremony to hold my train! The girls at the end of the night helped my family pack up all the items that needed to leave, which was so wonderfully nice of them and something that I didn’t even think about until we were leaving and had all the extra favors, card box, bathroom baskets, guest book, memorial photos, flowers, etc. to remove from the venue. A wedding planner is a must if you think that you will have a lot of coordinating to do (which you will) with little time or mental energy to do it. Lisa and her team at Nightingale Events did a spectacular job and will ensure the day goes smoothly so you can enjoy the happiest day of your life!

I also loved the day of my wedding, I got out of the car and rubbed my dress in some dirt (classic), and her team had a shout wipe ready in 15 seconds and completely removed the stain before I walked down the aisle. For the most part our vendors were great and straight forward, but I knew that if I did have an issue with anyone Lisa would be on top of it and championing us so that things would go as we had hoped/requested. I trusted her implicitly to be looking out for our best interests and be a steward of what we had planned and asked for our day to be. On our wedding morning, people kept remarking that I was incredibly calm and I attribute that entirely to Lisa; my mantra every time someone around me got stressed was "Lisa won't let us mess up" and I believed that 100%. At the venue, she and her team were everywhere at once, taking care of things at lightening speed yet always appeared calm and as if they had the situation completely under control (because they very much did). No frazzled or stressed faces on them despite the fact that weddings involve a lot of moving parts, strong personalities and unpredictable curve balls. They guided us through everything with confident, experienced hands. When they weren't actively taking care of something, Lisa and her team were always hovering at a respectable distance and anytime I turned in their direction I could see them all get ready to spring into action. At the end of the night I turned to her and said "so is this goodbye?" because it was sad to think I wouldn't get to talk to her every week still! She is truly a gem. We had a great vendor team so out of curiosity I recently asked my husband if we got to only keep one of them and had no choice but to change out the rest who would he keep and without skipping a beat he said "Lisa. Hands down." She was invaluable, both for the success of our wedding day and our sanity in the final weeks running up to it. I cannot say enough positive things about her.

Lauren and Kristin were also there the day-off and provided so much help as well. Kristin was able to bustle my dress flawlessly when members of my wedding party couldn't, and Lauren made beautiful signs for the wedding with her calligraphy skills. The whole day ran perfectly, and I was also guided to where I should be and when. The girls also helped me fix my hair and dress after I'd been outside for photos. She was never out of my site and any request I had, she took care of it (even tracking down my shoes...). I really cannot encourage you enough to hire Nightingale Events for your big day, you will not be disappointed and the only thing you will need to focus on that day is having the time of your life, which is so important given how fast it goes by!

Everything from suggesting vendors that would best suit our needs, making sure every last wedding favor and centerpiece were laid out perfect, working out the details with the wedding venue, etc. To me, the most crucial part was organizing the logistics and operation of the wedding. Lisa along with her assistant took care of every last detail including arranging the transportation of the wedding parties, organizing the music playlist with the DJ and even picked up the wedding cake for us! Most importantly, she did this all while keeping everyone cool, calm & collected. (including my crazy family) As stressful as it is tying 1,000 pieces of a puzzle together, she never skipped a beat, nor let a single detail fall through the cracks. If you have any hesitations whatsoever deciding if Nightingale events is the right choice for you, then now is the time to let them go. I was against using a wedding planner at all in the beginning due to the added cost, though in the end, it was worth every penny and then some. Though her rates were higher than some other wedding planners out there, the quality of service, and flawless excecution definitely makes up for it in the end. As a bride that was very hands on in the planning process, Lisa easily caught up to speed, provided input as needed and was always there for guidance and assurance. Lisa, with her team of 2 assistants, did a great job setting up our decorations exactly as we intended at our reception venue. Throughout the whole reception, she was always checking in, making sure things were going well, and happy to assist when anything needed to be changed or done. At the ceremony itself, she was very helpful directing a large bridal party, and was great at organizing multiple large family photos during the formal pictures. Additionally, on the Sunday after our wedding, she went out of her way to pick up and drop off some items left at the reception venue. We had contemplated not having a day of coordinator, and just doing everything ourselves, but hiring Lisa as a day of coordinator was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning. She really went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect, and go smoothly, and I would gladly recommend her to anyone looking for a coordinator.

We had a minor emergency with my husband tux and she came to the rescue with a sewing kit she had in her bag and fixed it within minutes of walking down the aisle! I thought I had forgotten my lip gloss and Lisa had noticed it at the hotel and put it in her kit to bring with her as she figured someone must have forgotten it! We were especially surprised that Lisa and her assistant, Colleen, attended our wedding rehearsal the night before. we met up. We live in Los Angeles and our wedding was in Cape Cod so it was challenging planning our wedding. Lisa was always prompt in replying to our e-mails and had great recommendations. I was looking for a specific wedding arch and sent Lisa some pictures and she was kind enough to reach out to some vendors for me. During our first walk through of the wedding venue, Lisa had great suggestions on the dinner table lay out for the reception and where the DJ and caterer should set up. The day of the wedding, I asked if she could come earlier and she got there as soon as she could. Lisa and her assistant Kara were great and took care of everything. They even rolled up their sleeves and moved some tables and chairs around. My husband and I didn't have to worry about anything and that's how it should be the day of your wedding. t. If your wedding is in New England, schedule a meeting with Lisa. We live in the inland Pacific Northwest so planning a wedding in Maine was slightly challenging from the start. After about 6 months of planning I decided that I needed help. I've known Lisa for several years so when I found that she had started her own event planning business contacting her was a no brainer. In the 7 months leading up to the wedding we met only twice but communicated via email almost every week. I feel like Lisa went above and beyond for us. We hired her only for day of coordination, but she suggested vendors, helped with our timeline, flower selection, answered questions about hair and makeup, communicated with our vendors, and even drove 8 hours roundtrip to look at our venue with us one last time before the wedding. On our wedding day the only thing I really had to do was try not to pass out from the heat. She arrived at our venue and immediately went to work making sure our vendors had arrived and knew where to go, making sure everyone was happy, ready on time and were lined up in the right order, she orchestrated keeping the bride and groom separate so they didn't see each other before the ceremony, she ushered guests to the ceremony/to cocktails/to dinner/dessert, made sure vendors were given final payments, brought me food, worked with the DJ... I mean the list goes on. There are things she probably took care of that I didn't even think of. Needless to say, we were extremely pleased with Lisa. She is organized, prompt, professional, knowledgeable, experienced, and easy to work with. If you don't want to have to worry about a thing on your wedding day besides looking fabulous and having a great time, I would highly recommend her.

s for me to save money, she has a never ending list of reputable vendors, and she really pays attention to all the details. Lisa went with me on numerous appointments to meet with some of my wedding vendors. I really liked that she was available for me and gave me her feedback on each vendor to help me make wise decisions for our special day. The day of the wedding she was the woman behind the scenes. She took care of all the loose ends effortlessly and just made everything really come together. She met with all my vendors at the venue as I was getting ready at the hotel, she also delivered my dress from the hotel to the venue. Lisa works great under pressure. The morning of our wedding it was raining. I had to decide if we would have the ceremony outside or inside. Everything was set up for inside because of the rain. It was 20 mins before the ceremony was to start and I looked at the doppler forcast and there was a break in the rain. I let Lisa know I wanted it outside and she made it happen! She got all of the vendors coordinated, rearranged decor, and got all of the guests where they needed to be. I don't know how she did it but it was like magic, and I was one HAPPY bride. As a control freak I wanted to be everywhere at once taking care of everything, and that is just not possible on your wedding day, that is why hiring Lisa is the best thing you will ever do for your wedding planning!
