bsolutely perfect. We hired her last year in the summer, even before we were engaged, because we knew we wanted her to be the one helping us plan our wedding. She also worked as the wedding planner for my sister’s wedding a few years back, so we already knew how amazing she was to work with. After having my own experience with planning and working with Nikki, I could not give a more stellar review of how it is to have Nikki on your team. Throughout the whole planning process, which for us spanned a little over a year, Nikki was always available to chat, bounce ideas, give suggestions, talk through problems, and recommend other vendors. She gave us recommendations for videographers, hair and makeup, and a DJ, and they were all the best people to work with. I would run so many decisions by her, whether it be in picking decorations, deciding setups for flowers, orders of events, and so much more. She always had suggestions for any of my questions, and her vast experience in wedding planning speaks for itself. She knows how everything should happen and when, and who should be where when it needs to be done. Nikki also helped coordinate all of our vendors for the wedding day, making sure to stay in contact with them to ensure that everyone was set for arrival and knew where and what they needed to do. She worked with our venue’s coordinator as well on the day of the wedding and made sure everything was in place and on time. I gave her boxes of decorations and miscellaneous items with limited instructions for setup, and she set everything up in our reception hall just beautifully. My stress was so minimal on the day of our wedding because I knew Nikki was on top of everything, and if anything was to go wrong, she would know how to fix it. Seriously, every part of the day turned out exactly how we envisioned, and we have Nikki to thank for it. She is so sweet and understanding, and it is obvious that she places top priority on making your wedding day perfect for you. She goes above and beyond wedding planner expectations and treats you like family. I would HIGHLY recommend Nikki for any wedding planning - she is the best at what she does!

Nikki was very responsive anytime I needed her prior to my wedding date and also helped me with my wedding timeline. Jen was absolutely outstanding! I could not have asked for a better experience. Jen spoke with me over the phone to review final details. She also was very responsive by text. Jen saved the day at my ceremony when my florist shorted me three boutonnières for the dads/ Grandpas. She quickly made three boutonnières without me even knowing that this happened. She also called all the vendors the morning of to make sure everyone was coming, and notified me that my officiant thought my ceremony was 1pm instead of 12:30. If it wasn’t for Jen my officiant would’ve been late! Jen also did an outstanding job setting up my reception as well at the ceremony site. She was so nice and helpful. My family and I had nothing but nice things to say. Jen checked on me and my husband prior to leaving to make sure she was not needed for anything else. She also grabbed us drinks while we were lined up for our grand entrance! So, if you are like me and thinking if you should hire a day of coordinator… do it! You will not regret it 😊 Thank you Nikki & Jen for the great experience!

When I started to worry that we bit off more than we could chew in planning a backyard reception, she provided reassurance that it would all come together--and it truly did thanks to her hard work and talent! On our wedding day she was on top of every little detail. I still say that I am shocked the day went as smoothly as it did, but I have no doubt that was due to Nikki and her excellent communication and coordination skills. If something came up, she was on it without me and my husband even knowing about it. Because of her, we did not have to worry about a thing on our wedding day and truly could sit back and enjoy the day. Not only is she amazing at her job, she is an incredibly kind and genuine person and a true pleasure to work with! Even my other vendors commented on how much they enjoy working with Nikki. Thank you Nikki, for bringing our vision to life and being such an important part of our special day that we will cherish forever!

d her phone, plus our impression from our initial phone conversation we never looked further. Nikki knew all the right areas where we would need help and kept us on track. We had some trouble coordinating with our baker, and Nikki took care of that issue for us. Two Zoom conferences the last month were so helpful. Nikki did follow up calls to all of the vendors, coordinating times etc with each, leading up to the date. Nikki was invaluable for the rehearsal as we did not have a church/conventional ceremony. The day of Nikki was on-site early and took care of a last minute glitch that otherwise would have been up to us. Nikki was a calming force the day of, and kept us all on schedule and informed on where we needed to be when. Nikki also helped the set-up crew and cake baker with decisions on where things should best be. Nikki had one staff helper with her, who was competent and very friendly, and helped us gather items we were taking home at the end of the evening, which was so helpful so we could enjoy the wedding. The day went perfectly. Nikki's always-smiling, "it will all be fine, I'll take care of it" personality helped with the stress of the day. We were free to enjoy our guests and the party. I wholeheartedly recommend Nikki. Without Nikki the day would have been so much more stressful, we wouldn't have had time to enjoy the wedding, and I'm sure it would not have gone as well as it did. Nikki was invaluable!

new when to bring things to me and when to go to my bridal party. I hired Nikki for her month of coordination and didn't know what to expect. I had my few calls with her before the month-start and she help me realize all of the little details I hadn't thought of yet! I really appreciated that I could meet with her for advice outside of "month-of." Then once the final month hit, Nikki was on it! Emailing all of my vendors, coordinating final tasks & asking questions I hadn't yet asked! I didn't realize how involved she would get and how much I would need her help! She was punctual and kept me in the loop on everything happening! Now for my day-of: My shuttle service I originally booked did not show up to pick me and my bridesmaids up to take us to the venue at 1pm! I had another shuttle service at 2:25pm & ~4:15pm to take family & guests so it was crucial I find another service. I tried to handle it myself which was really stressful, but then I contacted Amanda ~1:30pm with the problem & in LESS THAN 30MIN, Nikki was able to book a new shuttle service that was able to arrive to the hotel in time to pick up my family at 2:25pm!! Being able to trust Amanda and Nikki to handle everything on my wedding day made it so much more enjoyable. I don't know what I would have done if I didn't have them to help me. If you are on the fence about a coordinator or debating between possible vendors, I urge you to hire Nikki Johns Events!!

my wedding date, all the small details piled on and questions came my way from vendors, timeline confusion and I realized this is why everyone said to have a coordinator! I was referred to Nikki Johns Events and submitted my information online. I heard back immediately and that night had a zoom call set up with Nikki. She is so so sweet and has great energy. She made me feel like I actually was way more organized than I thought and validated my other vendor choices. I didn’t give it a second thought and booked her immediately. SO HAPPY I BOOKED. I met with Nikki and who would be my day of coordinator (Jen), 2 weeks before the wedding. We met in person and sat and chatted for I think and hour and a half. They created my timeline for me which I didn’t realize is such a stress but working with them it was such a weight lifted off my shoulders. They got all my details and answered so many questions I had. I went home from our meeting feeling so relaxed and ready for our wedding. The day of Jen was there at 1:30 right before our first look and came with Taylor. They were my fairy godmothers through the day just making sure things ran smoothly. I didn’t have to worry about anything. They set everything up for me, got all my details together, cleaned up the bridal suite, wrangled the groomsmen together for where they needed to be. Closer to the end of the night Jen got my attention that she was ready to head out and confirmed all our decorations and boxes we had stored in the bridal suite were put away. She had taken everything to our parents car so we didn’t have to clean up once 11:30 hit. Just amazing. I cannot even believe I was potentially not going to have a day of coordinator. Hiring Nikki and Jen was probably the smartest thing I did. If you are on the fence about it, do it. If you think you don’t have it in your budget, find room. You need the help and the support of these ladies. I genuinely am so appreciative and thankful they were with me for my big day.

l to help. Want to have a stress free experience planning wedding? Blindly searching for a venue, caterer, DJ, rentals etc a lot of work. Nikki knows the venues and vendors and offered terrific advice and guidance from day 1. The Wedding was rescheduled twice because of restrictions and ended up being at our lake home. Nikki contacted all vendors and was able to switch everything in 5 months! Nikki tracked all of the details so my daughter in law and I had no concerns or stress during planning and especially on the day!
