Nine-Eighteen

My Fiancée and I wanted to design our own wedding rings and began the search for an independent jeweler in the Dallas area. I met with a few different jewelers, but it wasn't until I met Kim & Darin of Nine-Eighteen that I knew I'd found "our" Jeweler. They made me feel like their most valued customer and were very thorough throughout the entire process. As another reviewer said, "They made ring buying really special" and it felt like family or a close friend helping us through the process, and nothing like the experience we had with the other jewelers. We'd never designed a piece of jewelry before and Kim & Darin were very helpful with suggestions, while paying close attention to what WE wanted. The other jewelers pushed what they thought we should do and didn't appear to really care about our "vision". Darin paid close attention to every detail we shared with him and was able to convey our exact vision(s) to his designers. My Fiancée and I are very picky & detail oriented women, and meeting our requirements is not always easy, but Nine-Eighteen exceeded our expectations in every way. We are thrilled with the rings "we" designed and can't say enough great things about the entire experience with Nine-Eighteen. Their prices were great and the quality of their work is exceptional. I will recommend them to all my friends and will definitely return for future jeweler purchases.

The owners of Nine-Eighteen, Kim and Darin, were amazing and made my day so special as I picked out wedding bands with my fiance. My experience was awesome from the first second I walked in the door. Nine-Eighteen is a family business (Kim and Darin are brother and sister) and they make you feel right at home. It felt like we had known each other for quite some time because they were both so personable and genuine. They helped me find the perfect ring and gave me a wide array of options. They weren't pushy and didn't try to "up-sell" me on anything. Instead, it seemed like they just wanted to make sure I found what I was looking for, no matter the price range. (However, I can tell you that I was extremely impressed by their prices because they were so great! It was definitely more affordable than I would have thought for the quality!) They also passed the "guy test." My fiance doesn't wear any jewelry - not even a watch - but somehow they were able to find the perfect ring for him. They took him through quite a few different options but after listening to his likes and dislikes, they were able to easily narrow down options for him. More importantly, they narrowed it down pretty quickly for him which was important since my fiance (like most guys) didn't want to spend his Saturday morning shopping. They were also really knowledgeable about diamond and metal quality, giving us the scoop on the brands and metals we were purchasing and why or why not they would be a good option for us. I can't say enough good things about Darin and Kim. My fiance and I are both extremely happy with our rings and of course, with our experience. They made ring buying really special and it was definitely better than going to a "traditional" ring store where everyone who walks in the door is a potential sale. It was refreshing not to be in a high-pressure sales environment! I know I'll be back to buy more jewelry. In fact, when I went to pick up our wedding bands I found myself coveting a gorgeous turquoise ring - needless to say my fiance told me to leave the store before I bought something else!
