I worked with Wanda at Nitsa’s for my first bridal appointment for a dress. She was very professional, and understood my desire to find something unique for my day. They carry a line that is customizable, which was perfect for me. Chris was so amazing!! I was an out of town bride and she made the whole experience so easy and fun. I wanted a dress that was classic and timeless, but also something that was very much me and the team at Nitsa's nailed it!! Would highly recommend!!

I purchased my Hayley Paige "Dare" gown from Nitsa's in February and I was over the moon on my wedding day!! Wanda was my consultant and she made my experience pure magic! Nitsa's has a really nice bridal room downstairs and they also have a space upstairs that can be used for bridal fittings. They have a great selection of gowns and I was able to take my time and really think about my decision. Wanda gave me advice that I hadn't thought about and helped me find options to make my decision easier. She was so polite and never made me feel rushed and was never pushy. If you think Nitsa's is the place for you, then Wanda is who you want to ask for! She is literally the BEST!!! She really cares about each and every one of her brides.

I absolutely ADORED my dress and experience from Nitsa’s! I never felt pressured and Chris definitely listened to what I wanted when she pulled gowns for me. She was also super amazing in helping me modify the dress slightly to make it my dream dress. The alterations process was a breeze as well and Chris was at every appointment to ensure everything was perfect. Their alterations staff is also 5 stars. Buying my wedding dress at Nitsa’s was a dream come true. Every step from trying on dresses in the bridal salon to getting my alterations done was such a positive experience. It’s obvious that they take so much pride in what they do and they have a lot of experience. I cannot put into words how wonderful my experience was with Nitsas. I was a super high strung bride with crippling anxiety and no idea how I wanted to look on my wedding day. Wanda worked with me to help me find the perfect dress with patience, encouragement and grace. Chris was also amazing, patient and so helpful. I remember walking into their bridal salon and telling the ladies that I did not want a strapless or fitted gown. They kindly encouraged me to try a few different styles on just to see and sure enough, the very first dress I tried on was the winner (and fitted and strapless). I had the pleasure of working with Chris and her team throughout all of the fittings and I was amazed by their attention to detail, responsiveness, and overall excitement. Nitsas is a fabulous bridal boutique! The people working at the counter can at times come off as aloof and snooty, but don’t let that deter you! I am taking a moment to pause and write this review in the tumultuous times that we know as the COVID-19 pandemic because of the absolutely unparalleled service Chris and the bridal team at Nitsa’s have shown me from day 1, and especially this week. As many spring 2020 brides are experiencing, plans have been uprooted and changed, causing a tremendous amount of stress and anxiety. When my plans to fly to Winston-Salem for my final fitting in April were no longer possible, Chris called me to kindly let me know that the shop was having to close for a few weeks due to Covid-19. Without hesitation, she agreed to have my final alterations made within 24 hours so that my family could pick up my dress before the shop was mandated by the city of Winston-Salem to close temporarily. There are lots of shops with beautiful dresses, and I assure you, you will find that at Nitsas, but what sets Nitsa's apart is the warm, southern hospitality and absolutely unparalleled customer service. I am beyond grateful that my random Google for a bridal salon in Winston-Salem led me to Chris and her team.

Chris and her team at Nitsa’s were amazing! I was a tricky bride – I wasn’t 100% sure what I wanted. I tried on SO many dresses from many different bridal salons all across NC, but I kept going back to Nitsa’s. You really cannot beat the selection and the service. Finally, with the help and patience of Chris, I found a dress I loved, if we could make a few tweaks because it had sleeves and I had decided on strapless. Chris worked directly with the designer to create my dream dress. The selection of dresses is top notch and there are so many to choose from. I can’t talk highly enough about Chris. She genuinely cares about all her brides. She was there for every fitting, and Kiki, who handles alterations, did everything to make the dress fit like a glove! Overall, I’m so pleased I found my dress here. From the service making you feel like family to the wide selection and styles of dresses that are truly all beautiful, you cannot go wrong finding YOUR dream dress here!

Chris and the team are amazing! They made wedding dress shopping super easy for me. The alterations were perfect as well. I loved my Pronovias dress (and I wasn’t the type of bride who dreamed of wearing a specific wedding dress!).

Thank you Nitsa's for the most amazing wedding experience! Chris and her staff accommodated the Bride, MOB, MOG, Godmother, and 16 bridesmaids (all of whom were fitted via email and phone)! The wedding was held 400 miles from Nitsa's, but Chris was able to oversee every detail for the perfect fit! Best customer service and selection around!

Perfect place to find the perfect gown! All staff are extremely helpful and honest. They have a huge selection and good quality dresses. Also any accessories you may need they have! Our experience at Nitsa's was perfect from start to finish! Chris, Kiki and Wanda are just wonderful to work with. The Bridal Salon is stunning and creates the perfect atmosphere for choosing your dream dress. The personal attention is over the top and the inventory of dresses to choose from is amazing. Our first stop for wedding dress and mother of the bride dress shopping was Nitsa'a and it was our ONLY stop. Chris helped my daughter choose the most beautiful elegant wedding gown and I could not have been happier with the dress they helped me choose as Mother of the Bride. Kiki reworked my veil and Chris helped my daughter choose a gorgeous hairpiece to complement the veil. We absolutely recommend Nitsa's for all of your wedding needs!

Loved loved loved working with Chris, Wanda and Kikki! They took excellent care of us from the beginning. Chris is very knowledgeable and was super helpful throughout the entire process. I only got to work with Wanda towards the end but she is so kind and sweet. And Kikki is such an amazing seamstress. My dress fits me like a glove, everything was perfect. They also just renovated their bridal space and it is absolutely gorgeous. The collection they have is relatively small but I found it to be way less overwhelming than other bridal boutiques. They go by quality over quantity. Trust me, give them a visit and you won’t regret it!

I had a fantastic experience with Nitsa's. I made an appointment just to look at dresses not expecting to be ready to buy anything and drove up from Charlotte where I live. They have an amazing selection of dresses, comfortable rooms and knowledgeable and friendly staff. Chris helped us and pointed out details I would not have noticed. I fell in love with the first dress I tried on and tried on a few more to be sure. Chris gave me several days to think about it and I ended up calling and purchasing the dress. I made four more trips to Winston Salem for my mom to see the dress, for alterations and finally to pick up the dress and had great service every time. Kiki did a fantastic job taking the hips, hemming the dress and putting in boob cups so I didn't have to wear a bra. The alterations were very fairly priced. I also purchased a veil from Nitsa's. When I explained to Chris what I was looking for in a veil she knew exactly what I wanted and pulled a veil for me to try on that I loved. Chris and Kiki even opened the salon on a day it was supposed to be closed so that I could come pick up the dress on a Saturday. Also, almost every time I visited, I also ended up buying a couple items from their regular selection of clothes! I live in Charlotte but the experience I had at Nitsa's was well worth the trips to Winston Salem. I highly recommend them to anyone shopping for a wedding dress, a dress for a special occasion or just to go shopping!

Nitsa's goes above and beyond in every possible way to make you feel comfortable. Wanda was the lady who helped my sister and I find our perfect dresses for our big days. We can't say enough good things about her. She was attentive, patient, and so very kind. You could also see that she LOVED doing what she does. The owner of Nitsa's was also so involved in this store and so wonderful to the customers and employees alike. Exceptional customer service to literally everyone we came across. Loved my whole experience with Nitsa's! I walked in hoping to make an appointment and they made time for me that afternoon! Once I picked "the one", the whole staff made sure I was not only comfortable, but confident in the dress. They were able to work within my budget and were able to work within my work schedule, which was an incredible plus! I always left feeling confident and assured that the dress I picked was perfect for our wedding day. They also helped me pick out a sash and veil that really pulled the whole look together. I stumbled into Nitsa's following a less-than-stellar appointment at another local bridal shop. Though I did not have an appointment at Nitsa's and the bridal salon was occupied at the time (by a bride who did have an appointment), Wanda was so kind as to pull several dresses that fit the vision I described from the bridal shop upstairs so that I could try them on. As soon as I put on the second dress, I knew it was the one. The rest is history! My dress was a sample size and thus several sizes too big, but that proved to be no issue for Kiki who is talented beyond belief. She even preserved the scalloped lace at the bottom of the dress by carefully removing it, hemming the dress to the appropriate (5'0") length, and sewed the lace back on by hand. Absolutely unbelievable. Each trip to the shop for fittings, etc. was as marvelous as the last. So glad I ended up at Nitsa's and get to call myself a Nitsa's bride!

Wanda and Chris at Nitsa’s, helped me find the perfect gown for my wedding day. I really appreciated the private appointment without the distractions of shopping with other brides. The staff listened to my wishes and respected my budget. Ultimately, I fell in love with a beautiful bateau neck, fitted lace gown with an open back – classic and romantic. Nitsa's was recommended to me by my boss, who said they were great at alterations, and she was so right! Between the time I purchased my dress and received it, I lost about 20 pounds and the dress needed a lot of alterations - so much that I was honestly really worried about it. My dress was a fit and flare and required a crazy bustle - I believe it was 16 points. I had a total of three fittings and they only had about a month to do it but they did an amazing job. On the last 2 fittings, they showed my mom, day of coordinator, and I how to bustle the dress and let us take photos. They even color-coded the bustle points, which was so helpful. The seamstress, Mirta, is a miracle worker and is incredibly talented and kind. My dress fit perfectly and it's the most confident I've ever felt with how my body looks, which is exactly how a bride should feel on her wedding day!

The team at Nitsa's is wonderful. The option to have a private shopping appointment makes the experience stress free and you get all the information you need. From my dress purchase, to alterations and picking it up for the wedding-- everything was very professional and just perfect. I would definitely shop at Nitsa's again for another wedding and recommend them. I was able to find a great deal that met my budget of $2000 for my wedding dress.

Nitsa's was the first and only place I ended up going for my wedding dress hunt. I had no real idea of what I wanted, but was willing to try anything. Wanda pulled a variety of options so that I could get a feel for everything. The last dress of the day ended up being the one, on one condition - I wanted to alter the entire neckline. After agreeing to it, Mirtsa the seamstress worked a miracle and created my dream dress. Nitsa's is second to none and I left feeling like part of the family!

I loved working with Nitsa's to find my wedding dress! The salesperson understood my style immediately and was happy to work with my mom and I even though we didn't have an expansive budget. I found my dress with the first one I tried on! They have an amazing selection and staff. The only "tip" I'd give is to be very upfront about which alterations you want and how much each alteration will cost so you don't get a huge bill at the end you weren't expecting. Overall - amazing dress and very sweet people to work with :)

I cannot say enough good things about Nitsa's and cannot recommend them highly enough. I tried other salons and even purchased a dress (that got returned to the maker - twice - because of defects). It would be an understatement to say that I was discouraged when I walked through the door. Even though I purchased a dress previously, I never had that moment where I knew I'd found my dress. I was second guessing what I wanted. They helped me find THE dress - it was not what I thought it would be, but when I put it on it gave me ALL the feels. It was everything. And since I'd already bought and returned a dress previously, I was a little tight on my time. Nitsa's worked with me and made sure I had the perfect dress on my wedding day. Very pleasant and easy experience! With help from Chris, I was able to find my wedding dress within a few hours. I also foundy my bridesmaids dresses and everyone loved them. After going dress shopping with my best friend for her wedding and experiencing several small bridal shops and several large bridal shops, I can say I had a great and unique experience at Nitsa’s. This is really the only shop I would recommend because of how stress free the experience was and how great the options were. My mom also got her mother of the bride dress here, which was s relief as she had searched for months for a dress. It looked great!

I could not have asked for a better experience wedding dress shopping! Chris and the Nitsa staff are all wonderful to work with! Chris was so patient as I tried on many different wedding dresses. Unfortunately I had a bad experience here. Our appointment was at 9:30am. We arrived a few minutes after 9:30am, and then we had to wait a while for our consultant to be ready. By the time we got upstairs it was probably 9:40/9:45am. I was not made aware when I booked my appointment that my appointment would only be for an hour. I was barely allowed any time to look through the dresses they had on the racks. As soon as I said the word "satin," I was taken to a back room to look at only satin options, which were unfortunately not cut in the style I was looking for. I tried on the first dress I was most excited about, but was barely allowed time at the mirror with my family. The consultant kept trying to get me back into the room. I felt rushed. One of the dresses that was pulled for me was so not good I didn't even come out in it. I ended up having to try the 1st dress on again a 2nd time since I was not allowed enough time in front of the mirror the 1st time. I wish I had more of a chance to explain to the consultant what I was looking for, more time to look at the options, etc. Towards the end of the appointment my consultant got a phone call from the front desk letting her know that her next appointment had arrived. I guess they only had one dressing room? I felt I was rushed into the dressing room, rushed in/out of dresses, and then rushed out of there. At one point, I was standing in front of the doors in my underwear and the consultant just walked out - I quickly ran to the side of the room away from the doors so that my entire family and future mother-in-law wouldn't see me half naked (they were sitting right outside the door). Disappointing :(

I LOVED my experience at Nitsa's looking for my perfect dress. They were so awesome and nice helping look for exactly what I wanted! Even through all of the alterations they were so accommodating and amazing and my dress looks perfect and fits me so well!!

Nitsa's was the perfect place to find a wedding dress. I am not a big shopper and don't enjoy trying on clothes, but Chris made the experience fun and stress free. Kiki is also amazing with the alterations.

If you're looking for a wedding dress in the Southeast (or anywhere, actually), Nitsa' is the place to go! I found my dream wedding dress in about 5minutes. Honestly, all of the dresses are beyond beautiful and carefully selected. Chris is SO helpful and sweet, I'm sad to be finished working with her. Best experience I could have ever asked for! The alterations were 100% perfect, as well. I would recommend Nitsa's above any other, hands down.

This is THE bridal salon to go to in North Carolina. Dress shopping in general is an overwhelming process and Nitsa's made it easy and worth the 1.5 hour drive from Charlotte. Chris is such a professional and recognizes what dresses work with you figure, skin tone and style and helps you find your dream dress. KiKi is a magician when it comes to alterations and fittings. If you live within driving distance of Nitsa's I highly recommend setting up an appointment.

Exceptional customer service. An alterations shop in Greensboro ruined my first dress and Nitsa's helped me find a new gown 2 weeks before my wedding. It was even more beautiful than the first. They offered to alter it for me in a matter of days despite it being their busy season. Nitsa's really saved the day when it came to my wedding dress!

Chris is wonderful! She initially picked out a dresses that were perfect for my venue and also a good fit for my body type. I ended up going with the one that she picked out/I tried on first. I've recommended Nitsa's to several friends.

KiKi, the seamstress, is incredible. Everyone at my wedding complimented my dress- said it "was made for me". KiKi made that happen- she is extremely talented. Chris and KiKi are a pleasure to work with. When I left my last fitting, Chris helped me pack my car with the dress and veil that I had dreamed of wearing my whole life... I felt like family hugging her goodbye.

Nitsa's is wonderful! When I went shopping for my dress I went to their Charlotte store. We worked with Naomi and she was wonderful! She is the reason why I picked the most perfect dress! She was born to sell wedding gowns!! While waiting for my dress to come in they closed their Charlotte store. During this process they had great communication! They even recommended other alteration places in Charlotte so that I wouldn't have to travel to Winston. We chose Nitsa's for our alterations anyway. Since we had to travel to Winston for fittings and to pick-up the dress they were very accommodating in finding times for appointments that fit my crazy schedule. They did a great job with the alterations. At the final fitting we noticed it needed to be hemmed just a touch more. They were able to get it done the same day! My mom and I also used Nitsa's for some of our other wedding weekend outfits. They were able to special order an item for my mom and have it in time for the next bridal fitting so that we didn't have to take multiple trips! When it comes to customer service Nitsa's is incredible! I am thankful to have worked with such great ladies when it came to my wedding dress! If you are looking for a place with excellent dresses and a great team of ladies go look at Nitsa's you won't be disappointed!!

A friend of mine recommended Nitsa's to me after she bought her weddings dress from there. After going to a few boutiques and being a little discouraged, our last stop was Nitsa's. Around the time I got engaged I had just moved from Chicago to Winston Salem, NC. I went to six bridal boutiques across the state and could not find the style I was looking for. One of the salon owners told me I was being too picky and that I would never find my style in the south. Frustrated, I decided to try out a store right near my apartment in Winston Salem. Chris, Wanda, and Kiki were so nice that I immediately wanted to work with them. They had a great selection, although I ended up ordering my dress without having seen it or tried it on. The dress came in months later and I wanted a few alterations made around the neckline and Kiki did an awesome job doing exactly what I wanted. The experience, between the look and feel of the salon itself, the enthusiasm from Wanda and Chris, and Kiki's alteration skills was top notch. I was not an overly enthusiastic bride and usually came to my appointments solo, and Nitsa's made me feel comfortable each time. Even in the little details I realize how professional the team is. They were on time with everything, kept me on track, and were easy to schedule appointments with. When you're preparing for your wedding you want everything to look perfect. I chose an unforgiving material and any time I was self critical about fitting into the dress, Chris was a pro at putting me at ease. The dress ended up being a huge hit and I have zero regrets.
