Services Offered No Standards offers liability insurance and will work closely with you to ensure that everything goes exactly how you want it to go on your big day. They will play music during ceremonies, cocktail hour, receptions, breaks, and even rehearsal dinner. No Standards is open to learning new songs for couples and will provide instrumentals and/or their own vocals. They would also be happy to provide karaoke services to get everyone involved. Can't say enough great things about Steve and the entire No Standards crew. They were incredibly communicative throughout the entire process, catered to our needs re: vibes, playlists/songs, run-of-show, etc., and put on a tremendous concert that had everybody on their feet the entire night. They made our special day even more special, and now our family and friends are booking them for birthday parties and other events. 10/10!

Unforgettable Entertainment – No Standards Made Our Wedding Magical! We had the absolute pleasure of having No Standards as our wedding band, and they completely MADE our reception! From the very first song to the last encore of the night, they brought unparalleled energy, talent, and joy to our special day. As a musician myself, and with so many other musicians among our guests, I can confidently say that No Standards exceeded every expectation we had. Their musicality was top-notch, and their ability to perfectly tailor the evening to our vision was incredible. They worked closely with us beforehand, listening to our ideas, offering thoughtful guidance, and even helping us navigate some tricky decisions. Their professionalism and enthusiasm made the planning process not only stress-free but also a lot of fun! No Standards is the wedding band you need to book if you want your big day to be unforgettable! From start to finish, their professionalism, communication, quality of services, and overall value were absolutely top-notch. They went above and beyond to make sure every detail we envisioned was included—and then some! They didn’t just meet expectations; they blew them out of the water. From learning two incredible songs just for the wedding (which they nailed), to letting my dad chant "Scotty Doesn’t Know" and then jumping right into it—it was amazing. The energy they brought to the reception was unmatched. They ended the night with "Killing in the Name" (as I had requested, despite it being unconventional for a wedding), and people are still raving about the show they put on. Even during quieter moments, like the cocktail hour and dinner, the background music they provided was beyond perfect—it captured everything I had asked for and still managed to surprise me in the best way. And when my best man included a bit of "On the Way Down" by Ryan Cabrera in his speech, they seamlessly played the song afterward—it was such a thoughtful touch that added so much to the moment. Hopefully, when we catch them live in the future, they’ll surprise us with our wedding song (Scene One – James Dean & Aubrey Hepburn by Sleeping with Sirens). Book them!! We had such a seamless experience from start to finish. The band ROCKed literally, we got many compliments from our guests. We had the pleasure of checking them out live at the Red Lion before booking. They were the first band we saw and we wasted our time checking out like 10 more because no one could compare to the energy and sound. We wanted more of a concert experience rather than the traditional wedding setup. They were the perfect in between. We also added ceremony + cocktail music + 3 horns for the reception. I wish we could host another event to book them again (anniversary??) but will definitely catch their Red Lion shows when we can! Really appreciated the calls/emails/and 'intake form' for the day-of to keep everything organized and set expectations on both ends too.

We can’t say enough good things about No Standards. It should speak volumes that we were the fourth couple in my family to use them for a wedding. They are incredible- professional, talented, SO fun! They made the process so easy and exciting and not at all stressful. We would recommend them 10 times out of 10. If you want the best wedding band, definitely book No Standards. They don’t just perform for the reception either, they’re also extremely talented in the “string” department and performed a BEAUTIFUL rendition of Hallelujah for our ceremony as well as played for our cocktail hour. They are THE BEST!

No Standards was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. They were easy to work with, super professional, well priced and amazingly flexible! They know so many songs, they easily switch from one genre to the next and can learn pretty much any song you want. Honestly, they are so good. We had them play the ceremony and the reception and they absolutely brought the party! Everyone loved them!

No Standards was phenomenal! If you have the opportunity to book them I would highly recommend doing so immediately. They played a great mix of classic rock, pop punk, and ever green standards. They were one of the highlights of our day! Everyone raved about that.

We could not recommend No Standards enough and would give them 10 stars if we could!! We hired No Standards for the after party of our wedding and they were the absolute highlight of the event!! We specifically wanted our after party to have an Emo/Pop-Punk theme and No Standards delivered and then some. They worked with us on the playlist and were even able to learn a few new songs that we requested. Not only was the music great but their interactions with the crowd kept the party going until the end of the night! We were also able to see them outside of our wedding and can insure anyone considering hiring No Standards that they would be a perfect fit for every genre of music. Our guests can’t stop talking about them and we can’t wait to see them again!

When I say that our wedding reception would have been nothing without this band it is not an understatement. No Standards are absolute pros and truly made our day the best! Friends and family (even the oldest guests!) raved about how good they were and how much fun they had. The band knew exactly how to read the room and what the vibe was. We filled out preferences of bands and songs and they figured out the rest. We also had 3 members of the band perform as an acoustic trio during the cocktail hour and it was class all the way. Truly special from start to finish. It was so much fun I wish I could do it all again. You will not be disappointed.

My wife and I absolutely love them!! No Standards played at my sister's wedding last year, and we contacted them the very next day to lock them in for our wedding -- we are so happy with that decision. I can't tell you how many guests came up to us to compliment the music throughout the night -- from reception intros to the full band set that kept the party going all night, they were just awesome. When they played Take Me Out by Franz Ferdinand towards the end of the night it felt like we were in a sold out concert venue. They do such an awesome job of playing the type of music you want to hear. Steve was extremely accommodating and helpful leading up to the event as well. Such great attention to detail on timelines throughout the night, all the way down to exactly what to play and when during first dances/reception intros. I play guitar, and they let me play 2 songs with them to kick off the night, with Steve even offering to rehearse chord changes via video chat the night before! Towards the end of the night the band offered to let me play a couple more with them, they taught me a couple songs on the fly and we somehow pulled it off -- it was an absolute blast. These guys are talented musicians and true professionals, but most importantly they are genuinely awesome people that we're absolutely thrilled to have had as such an important part of our celebration!

No Standards is a class act with awesome musicians and all-around great people. They have a song list a mile long to choose from and were so easy to work with to play the type of music we wanted. I have been getting nothing but huge compliments for all my guests on how great they were. Always professional and fun and kept the dance floor and party going the whole night. I would never recommend anyone else for a wedding or private event. They are the best!!

People always say that the two things everyone remembers most about a wedding is the food, and the music. Well, No Standards will have your wedding guests talking for years to come. No Standards is awesome! They were the band for our wedding, our sister in laws wedding, and our brother in laws wedding. Everyone absolutely loved them. They are great to work with and really go above and beyond to make your day special. They played and sang every genre of music so perfectly! When Steve sang “I Don’t Want to Miss A Thing”, by Aerosmith, I could have cried. It was done so beautifully and will be a moment I always remember. For those who want a mixture of band and DJ, we requested to have our first dance songs played by the original artist which they accommodated for us without a problem. They also played a song that my dad had wrote and sang for me and it was so incredible. We 1000% recommend them to everyone, you will not regret booking them!

I have been a follower of this band at different local venues for a while now and I still can't get over their talent. Before I even met my (now) husband I always said that I would love to have this band perform at my wedding some day. Fast forward a few years later during these unprecedented times... my vision came true. I was so happy and lucky to hear that they would be available on my wedding date. I actually would have considered changing the date if they were not!! The incredible talent and energy that this group brings to each event, over and over again, is unreal. We had a Thursday night wedding in August 2021. We hired No Standards to perform ceremony music, cocktail hour and reception. My entire dance floor was covered and even at midnight the guests still wanted more. For anyone that is debating hiring a band versus a DJ, the wonderful thing about this group is that they can certainly handle both elements. My personality and music interests are very opposite from my husband's interests, and No Standards was able to piece that together for a perfect combination of songs throughout the night. We had everything from our first dance country song, to wedding classics, to rock and roll, to house music, to our favorite Game of Thrones songs for a little fun during cocktail our. We received so many compliments on our entertainment choice, and I was just so happy that the guests enjoyed their performances as much as I do. Not only is this group extremely talented, but they have such wonderful and laid back personalities. We planned our entire 120 person wedding in 4 months time, and working with this group made things so easy. I would highly recommend to anyone that they should book No Standards for their wedding. I very much look forward to seeing them at the next one - hired after ours :) !

Just about every guest at our wedding told us that No Standards was the best part of the night. Steve and the rest of the band did an incredible job. From organizing the wedding party walk-ins, cocktail hour, and the reception, No Standards was absolutely amazing. We made a last minute decision to move cocktail hour inside due to potential rain and the band adapted without a hitch. 10/10 recommend this band to anyone looking to have an amazing night. They were so good, we even went to see them play in Atlantic City a couple weeks after our wedding.

No standards is the bomb!!! Our wedding 8/14/21 was definitely a hot one, but throughout the ceremony, cocktail hour + reception they completely outdid themselves. Everyone complimented the music and their energy. They are so talented, read the room so well, and get people involved and dancing. 15 out of 10 stars for sure! My husband wants to plan a party just to have them again!!!

Hiring No Standards as our wedding band was one of the best decisions my husband and I made for our August wedding! We have been seeing No Standards play live in the city for years and knew we loved their energy and style. The band was so easy to work with and flexible, even changing the date and venue last minute to accommodate Covid-19 restrictions. They learned the songs we wanted to dance to just for our party and they were able to play all of our requests. If they didn't know a song, they were able to DJ it. No Standards made our night so much fun! They had all of our guests up dancing and enjoying the celebration to the fullest! After the night was over, we had so many guests compliment us on the music at our reception and ask us for No Standards contact info. We are so grateful to No Standards for making our night so much fun and taking so much stress out of the planning! We will be hiring them again for all of our future events!

No Standards played at my Bridal Shower. We weren’t opening gifts and weren’t playing many games so I wanted entertainment. Plus, I love to dance but didn’t want my shower to turn into a club. No Standards added the perfect touch to my day! They played different kinds of songs of every genre so every age group was able to enjoy. The women were singing along and we were up dancing too! I received so many compliments for choosing them to play but the credit goes all to the band! It was unforgettable! You guys are the BEST!

One of the most important things to my husband and I on our wedding day was to dance and have fun. We didn't do bouquet or garter toss and we didn't have a cake - we didn't want to stop the party! No Standards totally understood and delivered the best party! For me all the little details leading up to the wedding were very overwhelming, but when we had our finals call with Steve he put us at ease and was so accommodating. A week and a half before the wedding my husband decided he wanted to add a horns section and Steve and team got to work to make it happen! The first thing our friends and family say when talking about our wedding is how amazing No Standards was! We had the best night ever, from taking the stage for one of my favorite songs to air guitar-ing at the end of the night with Steve! I cannot recommend No Standards enough and want to have an anniversary party every year to relive the night!

The bride was crowdsurfing, that's how our wedding ended. I can't begin to thank No Standards enough for their wonderful and thoughtful performance at our wedding. From the moment we began working with No Standards we knew we were in great hands. We discovered this phenomenal band because they played two other weddings we attended. They keep the hits coming and truly make their performance about the event and the couple getting married. They have an expansive catalogue of songs to choose from, and they even learned two songs especially for our wedding. On the day of the wedding No Standards was prompt and exceedingly professional. The venue's event organizer also adored working with No Standards and said she hoped to work with them again soon. During the event the band read the room perfectly and appeared to be in the moment the entire night and not just going through the motions, also their musicianship is top notch. Our wedding was all about fun and having a band onstage that was smiling ear-to-ear and giving a joyous performance added to the festive atmosphere. Not to mention that everyone in the band (as well as their manager) are warm and friendly people whose passion is clearly evident. Our wedding day was the best day of our lives and No Standards played a key role in our celebration. Hire this band, you will be so thankful that you did!

No Standards is a truly awesome band! We didn't hear them live before booking them, but once we finally heard them, we were even more excited for our wedding! They were the easiest vendor to work with, had everything prepared to make the process painless, and are amazingly talented. A month later, we still have guests telling us how fantastic our band was! No Standards was incredible! The band singers and instrument players sounded fantastic and were able to keep the wedding partying all night. They have great range both in terms of music genre and decade. They had great instincts for when to play certain songs and how to engage the crowd. We received comments throughout the night regarding how great they were and have continued to hear about them via text and calls from family and friends since the wedding. On top of sounding awesome they also have a huge song list to choose from, and were really easy to work with (at the end of the night after they were done they offered to keep DJing since we still had the venue for a bit more time). Our primary focus when planning our weddding was good food, lots to drink and a great band. Well, No Standards delivered!! People are still buzzing about the night. The band members are truly talented musicians that put together a set list that kept our guests up and dancing the entire time. I didn't want to go to" powder my nose" because I was afraid of missing a minute. Steve's organization, professionalism and understanding of what we wanted to accomplish was exemplary. He even helped two young aspiring musicians (7 and 9) try on drums and a guitar for a quick mini lesson. My new brother in law, an accomplished drum player, even had a shot at a couple of songs. Look no further for a truly over the top band. Thank you for making the night about fun and love!

No Standards was incredible! We couldn’t have asked for a better band at our wedding. Since the first time we saw them play in the city we knew they were the perfect band for us. They were always attentive to our questions and added such a personal touch, remembering our names and managing to mix in our favorite songs to their set list. All the planning for our big day went so smoothly. We sent Steve the list of songs we wanted to hear and he created the perfect set list. From the cocktail hour to the reception, they set the perfect mood to have our guests dancing all night. We received so many compliments on ow fun our band was. Since booking them we always made a point to see them perform when they were nearby and we developed such a good relationship with all of them. That personal touch made our day that much more amazing. If we could give them 10 stars we would!

Rockin' Our Wedding! These guys ROCK! No Standards totally breaks the wedding band mold. If you're looking for a band to bring the party, mixing rock classics with modern day bangers, there is no band better. They have the ability to do the more traditional wedding songs yet can kick it up with energy and vigor that is unrivaled by any wedding band I've ever seen. Highly recommended for any couple who wants a live band to kick out the jams. Besides the quality of the music, they're also simply the nicest people to deal with. They come with ideas, they're happy to learn the songs you want, they're flexible and they read the room perfectly. We could not have been happier.

No Standards is an amazing band. We had five of the members come out and play for us at our wedding at Locust Hall Barns which included the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. The whole process was easy, and the band even learned a few new songs for us for the ceremony. I knew the band would be great since we go out to see them whenever they are playing at a nearby location. No Standards did not disappoint, and I've had a majority of my guests comment on how amazing the band was. The whole experience was flawless and they exceeded my expectations.

This band was INCREDIBLE!!! They accommodated every need!! Were extremely patient with our wants. Everyone thought they were amazing and loved them. They were extreme professionals and were such a HUGE part of our night. Can’t say enough.
